145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bytom Mining - ASIC algorithm now cracked by GPU miners? Big profits? on: June 10, 2018, 01:14:45 AM
Any good pools for Bytom?
uupool is not counting like 50-60% of the stable hash rate sent to it.

UUPOOL is not counting a ton of hash rates, just FYI.
They're probably using the 50%+  for their own pockets.

And the idea behind bytom is not to please the enduser with a convenient product. At this point.

So what is its value then? Mining earnings are in the shtter.

156  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer A3 for sale on: May 18, 2018, 10:17:37 PM

Today everyone is trying to get rid of their L3 + because they no longer earn anything. So I understand your frustrated post. But the price is determined by the market, not by the seller.
My Patch1 L3 + miners has earned itself up after 40 days.

I wouldn't say that. L3+'s still make about $4.40 per day on a free power infrastructure .
Even paying electricity, using standard $0.10 / kwh, makes about $70-75 per month free and clear.
That is a LOT more than years ago when mining with Spondoolies SP20's and S4/s5's. They were clearing $20-25 per month after everything and people were still running tons of them in their basements.

The L3's even at tuday's prices are a very good investment. Get the modified Blissz firmware and your hash rate goes up as wella s your power usage goes down. (I'm running L3+'s at 570MH and using 730watts. Can go down to 504Mh stock speed and only uses 640watts).

Scrypt earnings have actually dropped less than any other algo. Others (X3/B3/Baikals) have dropped to less than 1/2 earnings in the past 2 weeks. Scrypt has not.

Picked this up from an insider/whales only forum last week when the dev was asked directly(don't bother to ask for the site though please).

------------------------------------
Yes, the updates recently have been more on the marketing side but that includes adoption which is a major point
on our roadmap. Without real working usage, the purpose of the coin is less pressing.
We hope to have some development updates, as there is work being done on a separate branch of GitHub that will
only be committed to PotCoin once it's complete and tested.

It's always difficult to balance the posts in a way that makes everyone happy. Keep in mind that adoption means
that more people need to be aware of PotCoin and its uses, so attracting more people from the cannabis space to
learn about the crypto space is essential as well.
------------------------------------

They are alive and working on things.
There was also more info on a roadmap that was not publicized yet for this year, so POTcoin is in acq phase by the looks of it.
Load up is the motto.  Wink
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BYTOM: An interoperational protocol for diversified byte assets on: May 17, 2018, 04:55:10 PM

Thank you for your reply.  But in the future Will Bytom support the erc20 btm directly to mainet wallet and swap?  I don't want to have to sens to an exchange first to swap, then to mainnet wallet if i do not have to.  Is there a dealine to swap erc20 btm to mainnet btm?  Thank you.  I follow all your announcements but it is not clear if mainet wallet will in the future support the swap directly.

They're making this way too complex for normal people.

not sure what is going on with all these newbies generation.
they are shitting on every coin it doesn't make a x20 every week.
they don't give a fuck about tech or the work people is doing...

They are usually shill accounts created to try to dump on a coin in the forums. Never, EVER listen to these asshats.
They usually just want to buy cheaper before a run.

Working great. Used for 3 months, undervolted and clicked, no bios modifications.
Hashing at 22.5mh on Ethereum at 62watts each.

Asking price : 220 each.
Buy all 4 and shipping in USA included.

My trade and forum history should suffice.
If you're a newbie, international , no escrow, payment upfront. Tired of scams.
