Even with my modified bios xfx rx480s, they pull 70 watts from Molex on the risers. (running at 0.95 core/mem)
Ref or non-ref 480? Non-Ref 2nd gen XFX RX480's with the 2 fans. |

I hope that winning BTC address was indeed from the 15PH hard hitter... My post says the user and worker stats so you can see for yourself. Yeah but who knows how long and how many times he/she/it rented that amount. I saw another 16PH or higher rental a few days ago. Maybe it's the same person. |

Hello Claymore , could you add dynamic control of intensity from working miner for example by "shift +" "shift -" hotkeys ?
It would require reallocating GPU memory which will cause crash after few iterations, so I wouldn't like to do it. Why do you need it? Freezing the 6-RX480 (1100/1950 - 88mv) with -i 4 after start but ok with -i 0. PSU Corsair HX1000i. Power supply issue or maybe how you are powering the pci riser boards. 4 standard riser with molex and 2 - usb 3.0 riser. Yeah i guess it maybe peak power when start with -i 4 but i'm not sure. With -i 0 (1100/1950 - 88mv) it consumes ~ 700W. Are you powering 2 risers with 1 Molex daisychain each? They can pull over 100watts each initially. Even with my modified bios xfx rx480s, they pull 70 watts from Molex on the risers. (running at 0.95 core/mem) |

Did you merge the test and standard pools? When I check the user stats, they are the same for user and user2(pool2) stats.
My bestshare got reset also .
I've restarted the pool and combined the testpool stats into the master pool, please use the regular addresses to check your hashrates. The old values will not have carried over.

Yes, that's right. My gpuz shows avg 80 - 90W
Which is like saying ".......I have Fast & Furious stickers on my car, so it has an extra 400HP....." Useless.. Put a real kill-a-watt on it and see what it really uses. 80-90watts will NOT be getting you 220Sols/sec with a 1305Mh Overclocked core and 1900 RAM.  |

currently the average is around 220 h/s True. I'm on 16.11.5 drivers, 1333mhz core clock, 2100 mem clock, with -30 mV undervolt. I get up to about 225-230 sol/s. I'm on 16.11.5 drivers 1306 core clock, 1900 mem, -100mV 220-230 sol/s. (bios mem mod) At that clock, even with the -100mV, you're using a ton of power. Less profitable than running stock speed or underclocked with less power. |

I have ton of dead Nvidia video cards, especially that EVGA brand, 2 years max. I have been used and abused ton of AMD video cards and none is dead. I promised myself to never ever buy Nvidia chip video card again.
Want to share the specs and how you used those cards? E.g. approx. capacity usage and how many hours did they last before they died? How many alternatives have you tried and what's your personal most durable one now? Nothing modify, just plug and play stuffs. A couple EVGA 9800GTX, a couple EVGA 8600GT, a few 8600 none EVGA, all dead within a couple years. I have 4 computers at our house. My impression at this point is to preventing Nvidia at all cost. I have to agree with him there. I've been in the IT field for many years and Nvidia based cards fry a LOT more often than AMD/ATI Cards as far as I can remember back. Just by normal use, heck even swapping them into different computers they can just get zapped by static E . Never had this happen on AMD/ATI cards/ I like how they (Nvidias)are usually faster, more stable but I think that has been all driver related f-ups from AMD. |

A fun fact:
lowly Antminer S1 (178GH/s) was making 0.08 BTC/day in March 2014, about what 100th of miners (7-8 S9) are making right now.
Price of btc is roughly the same. Bottom line: we are making peanuts for our outsize effort, and it is a fact.
And the S1 didn't cost $18K+ USD. |

in realy this problem in flypool i have......my problem where??? My god, those poor fans. my fans are at 100% does that make me a murderer? There isn't really much benefit to running cards below ~65-70. So it is not worth spinning fans really high to get temps in 50s. For Eth or Zec with undervolt, 30-50% fan should be fine. You may get slightly higher extreme clocks with lower temp, but not worth killing the fans. I have been running my gpu miners to be at or below 60c since r9-280s with fans at 65-100%(summer) and have never had a fan or gpu burn out. They are meant to be running hard and the cooler the temp the longer the gpu lasts. If you run your card on the warm side around 70c , take it out, smell it and look at any 's at spots, around the chips. You will find them and that's a sign of too much heat not expelled properly around the card/ic. |

Stop overclocking. You are wasting power for minimal gains. My rx 480 rigs using 5 GPUs and my modified bios with 1100/1895 run at 215-220sol/s on each gpu and use a total of 680-700watts |

yeah, cuz f@%k me and my 2.7 LNs, right?  My bad stupid auto correct on my phone. I meant 300gh and under. I use an s7 modified to run like the s7-ln due to a bad board I took out and attached an to 900watt p.s. to the side. Runs at 2.8Th@ 770watts. Its my solo lottery ticket. I got rid of everything else right after the s9 Fu started. |
