This Turkey is dead before it even takes off. Has absolutely no usability just trumped up ideas and long winded (but uninformative) blurbs from the 'devs.

I would suggest to start reading what they are doing and not compare bytom to lifestock. Their AI based network is unique. Bytom mainnet has just started, they
will become a link between blockchains and one of the most important coins in less that 2 years.

There is no real world usage for this crypto that will do anything important enough to have people pick it up and seriously look at it. It will get artificial pumps by bitmain, I'm sure, but nothing serious.

Most of us have lost most if not ALL funds on the old BTC-E exchange when the exit scam went down. (Some of us almost triple digits in BTC lost)  Angry

On a more positive note, this might just make some people chuckle and smile though regarding

A plot to murder a Russian national being detained in Greece whilst fighting extradition to the U.S. over money laundering charges has been uncovered. Greek law enforcement found evidence of inmates in the prison conspiring to poison Alexander Vinnik.

Former Crypto Exchange Worker in Murder Plot
We first reported on the case of Alexander Vinnik last year. Vinnik is a former operator of the now defunct BTC-e exchange. He’s wanted on 21 counts of money laundering in the U.S. and fraud charges in his native Russia. The charges he faces in the U.S. are between $4 billion and $9 billion. Meanwhile, those levied at him in his homeland are considerably smaller at around 10,000 euros. Vinnik has fought extradition to the U.S., but agreed to being sent back to Russia if that were possible.

In December 2017, Vinnik lost his appeal against his extradition to the U.S. in December 2017. He continues to fight against it however claiming to be taking the case to the European Court of Human Rights.

However, earlier this year Greek law enforcement uncovered the plot to murder Vinnik. An unnamed source familiar with the events told news source Sputnik that although the plan has been known about for some months now, authorities hadn’t gone public with it whilst they gathered further information. Sputnik also claimed yesterday that one of their correspondents has seen documentation that confirms the authenticity of the plot to kill Vinnik.

Special security measures have been taken to protect Vinnik whilst he remains detained in Greece. For example, he is not allowed to receive food or water from unknown people. He’s also had security stepped up around him and is being kept away from other inmates for his own safety.

The source familiar with the matter went on to state that no special services from any nation are involved with the plot. Instead, it is being linked to the criminal underworld. He’s also denied any link with the recent case in the U.K. involving Russian agent Sergei Skripal despite the similarities. The source told the news publication:

“It all began after Vinnik’s extradition to the United States was blocked. There people who are extremely interested in him not coming to Russia. The assassination was ordered by some unknown person from Russia.”

The publication also reached out to Vinnik’s lawyers. Unfortunately, they refused to comment on the plot. They told Sputnik:

“Such statement should be investigated via a proper procedure, rather than through public statements and discussions.”

Your offered price are the same price list with this site https://personal.x-cart.com/bitcoinuprisinggmailcom/cart.php?target=category&category_id=16

I think I found what you are looking for.
Payment method they accept: Paypal, debit/credit cards/ cryptocurrency/ cash on delivery.
They offered free shipping too.
Sounds not bad.

Folks , this is a new site .  The phone number doesn't work and the photos of their equipment are from Asic Miner Market.   They dropped the price from $2500 to $1500 on the X10.   They have the Baikal 900 for $300 .  it has been sold out for months and usually sells for $1,000 on Ebay . Their website is a free X-cart personal version .

Exactly. It's a SCAM , and a very poorly done one to begin with.

Also, my posts in this thread are getting deleted , so beware.

The technology of BYTOM project is excellent, and there will be an opportunity to enter the top 10 market capitalization in the future.

Of course it has "opportunity" to became top 1. When one has ALL THE MAINNET COINS with almost no exception (only one report for single block solo mined) it can dictate price of the coin at will.

Yup, also when Bitmain requires payment in BTM for their gear, it'll hit $100+. Lol

170  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: May 09, 2018, 12:32:05 PM
poloniex beside US too, but they aren't act like Bittrex and scam their users. at least Bittrex should wearing their users and give them time to withdraw their funds. that is if Bittrex was a lighnt exchange.

https://news.bitcoin.com/cryptocurrency-exchange-poloniex-bought-circle/

Poloniex will change too.

Bittrex is preparing to cater for the big big growth phase - the wallstreet traders. For that they have to have a higher standard of compliance and it will put them under further scrutiny.

I believe that exchanges that are of vague owneship or country of residence like HITbtc, Binance and Yobit may become increasingly a target for regulators.

In order to become a mainstream accepted exchange they have to comply with a variety of existing laws and increasing regulation.

HiTbtc is based in Europe? Binance is in Malta and that place is very friendly to crypto. And Yobit is I guess in Russia? Ffs, Yobit should cease to exist. It is a shame that the Russian government is not shutting that scammy exchnage. Yobit don't deserve to be mentioned with exchanges like Binance and Hitbtc. Grin

HITbtc UK company registration looks suspicious because it appears they never lodged any financial accounts and got deregistered for failing to file. Since then they moved to Hong Kong registration:
Hit Solution Limited
Unit 19, 7/F., One Midtown No.11 Hoi Shing Road,
Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong

Binance has been running into a lot of legal trouble lately in Asia — in Hong Kong, China, and Japan, where it primarily operates. Binance was one of the seven cryptocurrency exchanges that received a warning letter from the Securities and Futures Commission https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/03/23/binance-europe-japan-hong-kong-china/

If you read the Binance TOS it states: The operator of BINANCE means the legal entity that, recognized by law, operates the networking platform. - but it fails to state who that operator is.  Zhao Changpeng lives in hotel rooms and the exchange is in an undisclosed location.
I like their platform and their service appears to be reliable. But I am concious that there may problems locating the operator if things go wrong - or if the authorities crack down on licensing.

Yobit is based somewhere in Russia and despite their bad reputation I have had some surprisingly positive experiences with them.

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09239668/filing-history was formed later and also dissolved. Then the company moved to Hong Kong.
Lack of registration is also confirmed here: https://digiconomist.net/fraud-risk-assessment-hitbtc

= Exit scam in the making.

I don't think Bitmain is hurting for money, but I could be wrong.  More people than not say they mine with the hardware and release it to the public once they kill the rate and make money off of them.  I wonder if they do mine on all the machines if there profit is based on the coins they mined or is the 3-4 billion in profit from straight sales?

This article from cointelegraph.com (maybe reliable, maybe not) says
"the four-year-old Bitmain reportedly made between $3 and $4 billion in operating profit in 2017, whereas Nvidia, founded 24 years ago, made about $3 billion during the same period. "

The only thing they are hurting for is finding what NOT to buy with their money and how else to totally screw crypto enthusiasts by releasing ASIC's for every algo in existence.
176  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Baikal Giants, Giants+, X10, Baikal B, Baikal N on: May 08, 2018, 04:03:01 PM
Aren't these $2699 for 2x directly from Baikal?
I mean I understand wanting to make profit vs someone else who...could order them directly also since they are in stock,
but at a 40% markup I think you won't be realistically selling much and if you say you did, it's malarchy.
