142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: April 01, 2024, 02:58:15 PM
The game of luck that is involved in gambling, is it the one of individual grace which attracts goodwills? Or it is by the days the gamble decides to remember you and then gives you the chance (s) winning?

Until now, There’s no scientific experiment that will prove the concept of luck. It’s up to the user on how they will believe and conceptualize luck because it’s a personal belief just like faith. No one has the right to correct your personal opinion about luck because there’s no real answer this question.

For me, Luck is something that makes you super positive. As in you really feel happiness out of nowhere when you are gambling. I frequently experience this when I’m gambling during my free time without anything in mind while I only use small bankroll which I don’t care to lose.

I’m always winning on this setup but it’s very hard to maintain this positivity if you are already experiencing losses when the house edge takes effect.

144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is lack of proof a problem for you or not? on: April 01, 2024, 02:07:26 PM

So as a gambler, my advice is that before you start to engage in any gambling activity with any of the casinos, the best thing to do us to fact check their authenticity by seeing other people's review about such casino and also their years of existence. Genuine casino companies will always protect their integrity so that customers will always trust them and be free to engage in their services. Lack of authentic proof of a casino company is and should always be be big factor in determining which casino company to gamble with

This is the right approach to guarantee safety in gambling. But to be specific, Bitcointalk forum is the best place to do a background check since casino ANN thread is transparent for criticism or good feedback. Most importantly, we have trust system here and rank which can guarantee the authenticity of user feedback unlike other review site like trustpilot which anyone can post a review and manipulate it depending on their intentions.

By simply looking at the casino Bitcointalk account, We can easily recognize how trusted their casino or not because we have an active DT members here that making our forum safe from scam.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is lack of proof a problem for you or not? on: April 01, 2024, 12:41:25 PM
Casinos are running a business based on reputation, if they have a good reputation, gamblers will choose them because gamblers would feel their money are safe and anytime they can withdraw their winnings without a problem. personally, I don't investigate mucn, as long as the casino is popular, and when checked they claim they have a license, I always make it a go to play.

I like this logic when talking about the casino reputation. Many people already forgetting that even a casino has a licensed, they can still turn into scam because they can always use their license to new casino by updating it to license provider.

On the other hand, Casino reputation that built based on trust for so many years is much reliable as basis on trusting a casino because it can’t be fake or achieved for a short period of time. That’s why casino with good reputation for a long time always protects their reputation because it’s very to build it for so many years. Additionally, they spend already a lot of money for marketing just to promote the brand.
146  Other / Off-topic / Re: No interest in gambling if there is no profit or fun to be accountable. on: April 01, 2024, 12:36:29 PM
I usually don’t blame the casino If I don’t get any profit after long time playing in there because games in casino is from different game providers that usually common on all the casino. I usually blame myself for being greedy when I lose because I’m the one who chose to gamble, not the casino.

Gambling is a game of chance. Taking a risk and successfully overcoming it is the one that gives fun to gambling experience. You will never be happy on gambling if you are only looking forward for the total profit and not to the process of getting that profit.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you dispose of a steel plate seed backup? on: March 31, 2024, 02:59:52 PM
Hammer or use any device that will fold the steel plate until it turns to small piece that is capable to be flush down to your toilet. I guess this is the safest place which no one will dare to recover anything plus it’s located beneath your house.

If ever your septic tank will be siphoned, I doubt that this piece of metal is still recognizable and most of the time those junk recovered from the waste material is being recycled.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto loan platform? on: March 31, 2024, 02:46:31 PM
I haven't borrowed any crypto from any platform uptil now. I would know which platform is the best for borrowing. I did get a few offers from Binance in the past which I ignored as who will be interested to pay interest and keep collateral. Those who are into trading they generally use the lending services. I am not a full time trader and that is why I have no wish to use any lending platform.

Exactly, Crypto loans is intended for those active traders that wants to hold their crypto assets and use stablecoins for trading purposes so that can earn on trading while still holding their original assets gy paying the interest fee. Also they have an option to completely defaulted their collateral once their coin value is below on the liquidation amount while they have the USDT that is equivalent to the original value of his holdings when he borrow the stablecoins.

Lending is useless for those who will use it on different purposes since the crypto loans is has a higher interest and has a liquidation for your collateral depending on your asset value,
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: My experience on live bet on: March 31, 2024, 01:53:15 PM
that cashout thing is just new but sometimes it makes us get greedy and miss the opportunity to enjoy a bigger winning. If I would choose, I'd rather not have that cashout option in my account if there's a way to block it because it causes some interruption on my focus.
I believe it's the opposite. A greedy person will always chase bigger wins. Someone who is not greedy will play it safe and accept whatever the sportsbook will offer to him and cash out while he still have the chance to do so. A greedy person is the one who takes the risk not the opposite.
OP, the amount the sportsbook offered you is reasonable given that the odds of the last game has increased from ~2x to ~3x which means your chances of winning decreased.
That's not being greedy, you gamble and aim for a bigger win, that's our main goal. You can only call yourself greedy if you get tempted to do things that are our of your plan, like when you are betting in sports, you don't think of cashing out once you see you are already winning.

Thing is, casino wouldn't offer a cash out if they know you aren't winning, so what's the use of cashing out? I mean, we are here to take risk, just be a more risk taker, go home or go big so no regrets in the end.

On the context that you use the word greedy to the cash out feature, I think the better word is scared/feared on losing the current guaranteed profit offered by the casino. Being greedy for securing profit is not right because the user means he is already settled to the amount which the casino being offered on the cash out.

Your example on this post about greediness is correct too. I think you grasp perfectly how greedy really means. But your usage on the previous context is really not appropriate because cash out is intended to secure profit while there’s still risk involved on your current bet.
150  Other / Off-topic / Re: Noticing sign of gambling addiction before it gets worst on: March 31, 2024, 01:15:14 PM
My sign of having an early gambling addiction is when I’m playing gambling on ungodly hour because I’m excited to play or I’m having good time on my previous gambling. This kind of sensation makes me want to gamble more without choosing the right time.

This happened to me frequently in the past when I’m still exploring the auto bet of dice game before because I become interested on forming dice strategy to get consistent profit which didn’t turn into success.
151  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: March 31, 2024, 08:43:36 AM
My golly. This really surprised me.

Thank you very much Stake.com.

That was my first super multi-win and it sure did bring happiness. Just sharing and I hope some slots players here could hit the same amount someday.
Super awesome.
Is there any way I could see the replay of the game? My wife doesn't believe me and I cannot find where I could see the replay, unlike the other slot games.

Congrats on your huge win! I'm not familiar with this game including the provider because I'd never seen this provider on the casino I'm playing but you can see the history on the game settings itself or try to browse the main website of the slot provider and check for the search bar which you can put your game ID of the winning bet.

Most of the slot provider has the history feature but I'm not sure about the replay video feature since I only saw Hacksaw and Pragmatic provider that have the replay feature.
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: are you expecting Bitcoin to hit $400,000 after the bull run. on: March 30, 2024, 04:50:47 PM
I'm seeing Bitcoin rising to $400,000 before the first quarter of 2025, the bull run this time it will be different from the last one. Bitcoin is $70,000 now the halving have not started, I'm looking at the market that this is the right to buy and hold after the bull run then you sell and make your triple profit.

I want your prediction to come through but it’s not realistic growth for a period of 1 year. It took 70K more than a decade before it reach including ETF approval and other mass adaption for Bitcoin while you are claiming an almost x6 of the current price as target for next year? Where do you think that money will come from while most of the big player including Blackrock is already enter the crypto game.

Maybe after 5 or more years but definitely not next because this is too high as a target. Bitcoin is not a shitcoin that can be easily pump due to low liquidity. You will need heavy load of capital to pump the price at that level.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling excites you ? on: March 30, 2024, 03:16:00 PM
Does gambling excites you? What motivates you, winning or just the fun in it ?
There is always an exciting sensation when waiting for the results when gambling, this feeling of tension is a pleasure in itself for me when waiting for the results to win or lose. When a sensation of tension forms in the body, the feeling of pleasure will increase when betting, even when you lose, the sensation of satisfaction will increase because there is pleasure in it. When I was able to reach this position, my motivation was no longer to win, but as a means to buy entertainment for myself.

I agree with this when I'm still new to playing but when the game progresses you almost consume a lot of time by playing back and forth with your original bankroll, there's already a boredom sensation that lets you easily triggered when you lose that's why we always tend to become careless on our bet when we are already playing longer due to our mind is already exhausted and want to rest.

I always enjoy gambling. I play with a fixed amount of time to help me maintain my positive mindset to help me avoid careless bets. I learned a lot due to my experience that always ended up with an all-in bet just because I was already tired of gambling while I already lost most of my bankroll. I consider it a casino donation. lol
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new meme coin help on: March 30, 2024, 02:15:09 PM
But, here comes my question to you, my fellow crypto enthusiasts: is there anyone among you who is part of this private Telegram server and could share an invitation with an eager newcomer?

I heard a lot of this telegram that they share new project or inside news. They call themselves “alpha investors” but in reality they are just funding new project and let their members following their signal after they purchased early then they will use the members liquidity as an exit liquidity for their investment. Those other members that manage to have a profit will testify to them while the rest of the members lose their funds and consider it as gambling that’s why they easily accept their bad investment.

In general, don’t waste your money on joining this kind of group because you are just making the leader of that group rich using your money. It’s just an indirect transfer of fund using shitcoins.
155  Economy / Gambling / Re: My experience on live bet on: March 30, 2024, 01:23:51 PM
It was my first attempt at playing a live game. I wagered #1000 on a winning range of #7,000 on three live games out of a total of seven odd. I started to question why this sport bet robot was acting that way after two of the three games had already been played, even if I eventually won the game. At that point, my cash out was #1,641.

Because your last ongoing bet is still value @1.5 odds which means your first 2 bets despite the high odds can be erased with just a single loss of the last bet. This is the risk which the casino is taking for the design of their cashout.

Cashout value is not proportional to amount of already win bets but rather it depends on the remaining odds on your parlay. Just wait until that last bet settled since your potential profit is too high compared when you cashout/lose the bets. You have a minimal lose here in exchange for x7 profit.
156  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can family members help a gambling addict? on: March 30, 2024, 01:14:12 PM
Many people are going through gambling addiction but they manage to keep it a secret from their families and loved ones. The only people that know about their gambling activities are their close friends. In the event that you are one of those close friend to a gambling addict, do you think it is right to tell their loved ones with the intention that they will be able to talk to him and help him overcome his addiction? Can the advice of loved ones even help? What is the most effective way of going about gambling addiction.

Any problem is solvable by the family. There’s only an exception if your family has a toxic environment but normally family usually help each other especially in Asian country since we always live together even if we are already adults unlike American that parents let their children become independent.

All of my problem is known by my parents before when I’m still living with them. But right now, I shared all of my problems to my partner so that he can support me whenever I’m down. Soloing your problem will just make you mentally stressed in long term unlike if you shared it because it can be solved immediately. So always share your problem to your family or love ones.
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to kucoin? on: March 29, 2024, 04:34:46 PM
I hear the news that kucoin or the founder had issue with money laundry, something like that. But please I hate when this problem is so big
. Please I dont want the FtX 2.0 here

But i just watch their twitter and everything seem normal and i hope like this. to be honest Us is now checking everything that related to crypto

FTX is different because the founder is an American citizen and he use his customers funds on many questionable expenses that makes FTX balance sheet to negative. Kucoin is just facing legal issue which they can resolve by complying to the US government and paying fines for what they’ve done.

I believe social is just intensifying everything because this is what many people wants ot heard on a FUD news like this. I’m not a user of Kucoin but I now that they have enough funds to continue the operation despite paying fines.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does affilate programs work in casinos? on: March 29, 2024, 03:01:51 PM
Am curious right now, to know how does affiliates program work in gambling. I know gambling is big niche and they also run affiliate programs, so anyhow have an idea?

Before, Affiliate of program of the casino is a percentage of players deposits and total wager but as the affiliate program becomes popular casino use different profit sharing model that will benefit both the casino and the agent.

Currently, affiliate program is based on the total rakeback accumulated by players. They usually give 10% or more(50%) on some casino for the rakeback of their affiliate. Rakeback is computed based on the house edge of the games which player use so you will get a commission regardless if the player win/lose if they are active in gambling.
159  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 29, 2024, 01:06:24 PM
Maybe it depends of availability of the person since not everyone are blessed to have lots of time to go outside gamble and enjoy the vibes of offline casino. This is why there's a lot of people choosing online casino since eventhough they won't get the same atmosphere what offline casino brings to them but at least they have fun to play those classic games that they want to play the same on offline. We see online casino is booming and its billion dollar industry so we can expect that a lot of people are getting involve to new technology and they select to gamble at home since they feel more safety there. For talking about budgeting then I guess its all up for those people on how much they can afford to lose.

Not only lots of time but also some players leave very far on the location of the casino especially province area like me that will takes 4hrs to 6hrs ride depending on the traffic just to play in the casino although some casino provides shuttle service fin the province but still it’s time consuming and waste of energy just to play offline casino while you can play it comfortably in your house.

Not to mention that offline casino slot games have lower RTP and they don’t have rakebacks or any form of bonuses unless you are a VIP member which in online casino you can be a VIP instantly when you register and receive multiple bonus on your first game. The online casino makes everything easier and feels like VIP players that you can’t experience playing offline based on my own experience when I visit Okada manila here in our country.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoin games in exchanges on: March 29, 2024, 01:00:44 PM

But i experience that, New altcoins already pump 300-500% within seconds. Lol. Although i had opportunity to buy overpriced coin cause some coins goes more than 20000%. But i did. And later team create more hype so that more people joined with then. And after a certain time, team dump their share and run away.

So should be careful such shitcoin games. It may increase your money thousands time but i think, people will loss more than gaining

Yeah, this is always the gimmick created by the exchange and team together since CEX doesn’t have any blockchain records to verify who’s involved but the exchange has the power to place a quick buy order on thin order book to make the coin display a fake pump that frequently being use to attract more new traders to jump in and ride the hype.

This is why waiting for the correction after it was listed is the best approach to invest on this coin rather than gamble buy while team/exchange is still fake pumping it because you might ended up buying an OP coins and worst that it be die quickly while you purchased at the top.

CEX should be regulated properly in able to avoid this but since most of the exchanges choose a country with weak regulation on crypto exchanges makes them free to do whatever they want including this such manipulation.
