701  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ Fraud ] Coinbase on: September 09, 2023, 04:22:10 PM
I think the reason why your Coinbase account become limited is due to their gambling policy. Look freebitco.in is a gambling site if you made some transaction using Coinbase to send or receive from freebitco.in then you've already violated their policy.

Also, coinbase is not a good place to buy coins their service is pretty strict compared to Binance based on my experience.

Anyway, how do you buy ETH did you use coins or FIAT?
If you paid it with FIAT through a bank you can maybe able to dispute the transaction.

This is correct.

Coinbase has a policy like this which falls on unlawful gambling since Coinbase is from US which makes Freebitco.in illegal to have a US citizen player.

Quote
Unlawful Gambling: Lotteries; bidding fee auctions; sports forecasting or odds making; fantasy sports leagues with cash prizes; internet gaming; contests; sweepstakes; or games of chance that are not sanctioned by a governmental body or regulatory authority.

702  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Friendly note: You might want to be careful of the so-called arbitrage trading on: September 09, 2023, 04:18:11 PM
AFAIK, different prices on various exchange is to the open order place by the traders that using single exchange only. Some exchange has different price to others because some of their user is buying or selling more volume than different exchange. The difference on liquidity in the orderbook gives a huge impact on why arbitrage trading is possible.

There’s nothing wrong on arbitrage trading because exchange gets profit from transaction fee and not from user trade losses. They are not like casino that relies on customer losses for their profit.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fan of casino reviews online? This is a must-read on: September 09, 2023, 03:04:24 PM
If you want to read crypto gambling reviews access bitcointalk forum or do your research on Google including bitcointalk forum on the keywords. Maybe it's not even necessary to do this, because the forum is already quite popular on gambling matter, but just to make sure include it. Here you can find accurate feedbacks and reviews from veteran members of gambling community, against random created accounts at TrustPilot you don't know who are, what means they can be members of the casino itself reviewing their own company as fake customers.
I think our forum is not specifically built for that. Companies are only posting an announcement thread here as a form of introduction, although people can still post their own feedback there and as well as suggestions. Then we have a scam accusation board which also gives a negative feedback for someone else or some company.

Forum is dedicated for discussion so it’s serves like feedback thread too. ANN thread is really for an announcement when they post the OP but the thread become a discussion thread after the announcement part or else casino reps here should lock the thread right after they made the announcement.

Browsing the ann thread is one good way to conduct review on the casino since user will discuss whether good or bad experience on the casino.
704  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚠️ Crypto.Games ⚠️ Account Closure and ~8.38 ETH Confiscated on: September 08, 2023, 04:04:25 PM
Is not the first time I have seen a casino confiscate the user money with the KYC argument,  casinos are in their right to do it, but on the users' side doesn't feel fair at all.

Agree on this. I still feel sometimes requiring KYC just to withdraw my balance is unfair even though I already verify my account on different casino. This is why user should understand the danger of Casino with license if they don't want to undergo KYC because ignorance on the ToS will result to terrible loss.

What I don't understand on the KYC part is why the casino still needs to KYC user account if they are just refunding the customer deposit amount and confiscate the profit. This case might be off-topic to the OP but it's good discussion for KYC issues.
705  Economy / Gambling / Re: Tell me one legit site with esports and sports markets on: September 08, 2023, 04:00:14 PM

1xbit must have been the first to have introduced crypto casinos to new comers of crypto. Several theeads been created recently boasting how legit the casino the casino when in fact not. I have the hunch they are paid

I have not tried esports but i read someone saying nitro and betcoin.ag are good for these. Unsure about it but stake.com is the most famous in sportsbetting.
People see 1xbit at everywhere more than other casinos because their advertisement is something else. You will see them at all corners in the internet. Mostly their ads appear whenever you on the internet connection in the phone or laptop. And Op if you are interested to use 1xbit, we strongly discourage you to do that because that casino is not trusted. And if you use their services and anything happens after all this warning please don't come complain. People have listed many legit casinos for you to try.

Sad to say but yeah, They have a very good marketing campaign that makes them still popular despite their bad reputation here in the forum. I remember watching a movie that I download via torrent with watermark from them which means they have a wide network in different area on the web to promote the casino unlike the popular casino here in the forum that usually have a strong promotion here an social media.

I thought I'm just hallucinating seeing 1xbit on some random video files and website but your post verify how strong their promotion.
706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KYC matter? on: September 08, 2023, 02:43:20 PM
What are the repercussions of failing to complete KYC on an exchange?

It matters because KYC is the only documents required to regulate users by the law. Without it, An exchange can’t get their license to operate on most countries or they might breaking the law since most country is now regulating crypto exchange unlike before that government doesn’t cares about crypto trading.

Repercussion is you might not recover your funds without undergoing KYC. Read the terms of exchange always.

707  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: September 07, 2023, 03:52:44 PM
Its expected that many people try to get those free spins given by Bitcasino since some of them got inspired on successful stories of other lucky gambler where they earn huge prize for using that so they try to hit the same luck. So to make sure that you are on time getting those promo drops its better to be more active on twitter. To many gamblers notice that already so I guess getting free spins is getting more harder and harder due to many people participating.
The free spins are coming from Telegram so stay tuned as they are only 50x to claim so of course everyone already knows when the free spins drop some people will claim them. First come, first serve!. Cheesy
Yes it is a success story that we have with the Bitcasino platform for lucky users, anyone may get this but don't overdo it we are here to relax and have fun with Bitcasino.

I’m actually surprised on recent demand for the free spin since the previous free spin drop quantity is only for 20 person and it usually last more than 2 days before it was all claimed. They adjust it to 30 then 50 now and it’s very fast to claim now. I wonder if the increase on exposure on free spin is due to our forum discussion?

I'm waiting patiently too tomorrow if the free spin will drop again.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: September 07, 2023, 03:30:05 PM
Bank investors have more certainty because there capital is completely safe but they give 8-10% annual profits to the investors of per year. But it is comparatively less in terms of profits.

On the other hand you will get constant profits from crypto as if you are experienced in trading then daily profits is possible. Otherwise you can get profits by investing. However crypto investment puts your capital at greater risk (main point).

What best varies on person risk appetite because you can lose big time even though crypto trading promise huge profit. So the value of the potential gain is useless if you can maximize it.

Sometimes, Bank profit works well on people with huge funds and hate too much risk since they already have stable job to gain more income unlike if they involved on crypto and lose it all due to volatility.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OnlyFans owner collects $45 million as dividends because of ETH investment on: September 04, 2023, 05:48:10 PM
Smart move, indeed! Crypto investments can be a golden goose. It's a smart way to make your money work for you. 💰

How come? Eth price is dumping more than the profit he can get by staking it on any DeFi or by committing it on the network for consensus. I doubt that the figure given by the OP is a raw profit because the initial investment is surely decreased a lot in value unless he purchased last 2018 bear market which I highly doubt since OF is just a new company.
710  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: September 04, 2023, 05:01:33 PM
were stake's hot wallets just robbed for 16 million?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5465626.0

Read a post in the telegram group about a USD 41m hack on stake.com. I checked this thread and there was no information from the team. Likewise through X, there is no post stating that Stake.com has been hacked. Maybe, it was done for the transfer of user assets, but account X @WatcherGuru considers it a hack. If it's being hacked, there should be valid news from the team. If the team doesn't provide an update, it looks like this is just a misunderstanding.

Stake representative usually don't hang out here most of the time even on normal days. Yeah, Stake silence is surprising since the news is already spread in the internet. Maybe they want to minimize the damage before they release official statement since this will cause panic among their existing players.

The level of betting activity on Stake is still normal though. Maybe some players is still not informed about this issue.

According to Stake support. They aren't experienced hack. I dunno what to believe now. Cheesy

711  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy is now being powered by cryptocurrencies. on: September 04, 2023, 03:50:41 PM
Crypto banking benefits for poor countries:
Currently, banking systems are in operation in all countries of the world. But customers of all countries are not getting full bank facilities, many of them are out of bank facilities. Cryptocurrency is a good option for them. They can profit by investing in crypto. He can enjoy this benefit from any part of the world. It is not just one person who is benefiting here. Through this, the country is making great progress. Developing countries are still lagging behind if they can implement it well then the country can become more developed quickly.

If banking system is not available on this country, I’m not sure how can they afford crypto either to use for there investment since there’s no way for them  to convert their fiat to crypto currencies vice versa if there’s no bank or other services that will process it unless those people earns their crypto through online job.

I experience to leave on island which there’s no bank, I believe I will be having a hard time when I use crypto in there instead for a bank. Bank is still required or 3rd party services that will process fiat to online.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: September 04, 2023, 03:45:23 PM
People like those (me) who don't gamble for fun have this question to answer: how will you feel when you don't have money to stake a game that you predicted and better winning games you predicted played the way you predicted it and when you checked the winning was something that could have changed your life for ever if you didn't gambled again after such winning?

This is something that you will regret forever or just another prediction wasted depending on how you will digest the result. It will just make you agonizing on the fact that you missed something if you always think about and check your potential winnings. I experience this a lot when I’m newbie playing dice game. I’m always itching to bet all-in on a single dice bet but I’m always hesitating and turns out the roll that I should bet suppose to win.

After that, I stop checking the result of my what if whenever I decided to stop betting on a certain bets that I was aiming but don’t have money.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give Him a loan Or Partner With Him on: September 04, 2023, 03:09:36 PM
What's your best course of action in this scenario?

I’ll definitely won’t give him a loan no matter how good he is because it’s still gambling. However, I will give him some financial help that he doesn’t need to repay since the amount is just normal amount so that I will never have the urgency to ask him pay me back.

It’s not bad to help a friend in need but not to the point of financing his gambling needs to recover since he can always get a job to earn the money that he needs for gambling instead of loaning it while he doesn’t have way to pay it back when he lose.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 04, 2023, 02:46:18 PM
James Harden's stats are still fine; he averaged 21 PPG last season. However, we didn't see a significant impact on the team, which is why we are a bit frustrated with him.

His PPG is significantly drop compared when he is on prime during his rockets days. His FG% is still averaging 44% which is same from before but his scoring potential drops significantly. This is important factor to be considered since this guy is known for no defense at all since his defense is his offense before.

He needs to step up with 76ers now that he already have Embiid that can penetrate inside easily.

715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rant: Casinos should hire people who knows about what they do on: September 03, 2023, 06:43:20 PM

There will be an issue if the support is a third party some party supports hold at least 5 to 6 project on their shift and they have ready a script on them so if your questions is not on their script then you are not going to get the right answer, and besides some questions are that are not gambling related and about platform is not their scope, you have to ask them the admin of the casino some support are not gamblers I encounter one support where I ahve to wait for a few minutes for them to give the right answers, so don't rely on support be specific on the right support that you want to answer all your queries.

Most of the time, Support like this is only present on mediocre casino like local online casino with low budget because all the crypto casino that I play with especially Duelbits has the best support that can help you to solve the problem in both gambling and account problem.

I always encounter problem regarding claiming bonuses and the support usually fixed this with just a few minutes. Your description is the one being described by the OP, a support that just using a script is not needed at all because the casino can use the Faqs for their script. I think being knowledgeable on both gambling and the casino technicalities is really a must for support skills set.
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Colorado residents can pay in cryptocurrency for driver's license renewal on: September 03, 2023, 06:32:11 PM
At first, i thought it was good news for the crypto industry but when I read the article my joy faded out. Users can pay by cryptocurrencies through PayPal. What are the points of paying cryptocurrency then? I will just use Fiat to pay my bill! There is no mention of whether they will accept Bitcoin or not but they have said they will accept PayPal cryptocurrencies which could mean their own stablecoin. They have also said that a user can select any specific Crypo currencies to pay bills so there will be multiple crypto assets that will be accepted and Bitcoin can be among them.

Source: https://dmv.colorado.gov/press-release/mydmv-now-accepts-cryptocurrency-as-payment-for-dmv-services

It’s normal since government want a secure way for the payment system which both party involved will be protected since Paypal offers a refund a policy which the real crypto doesn’t have. That’s still a government service which means they preferred centralized way of approach even with involvement of crypto.

It’s also a waste spending your crypto just to pay your driver license since you don’t have any benefits using crypto as payment while converting fiat to crypto charge you expensive fees.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: September 03, 2023, 05:51:45 PM
I am not fond of cockfighting but I see people who are madly in love with this kind of game.  They even have a farm for the fighting rooster and they take care of them way more than his family.  They will get their roosters checked if something goes wrong while neglecting his family's health.  I do not know what comes to the mind of these people since they treasure their fighting cocks way more than themselves and their families.

This can happen because the love for the fighting cocks is not more than the love for the family. However, because taking care of chickens is their job and they always have a reliable rooster to compete in cockfights and they also have fighting cocks for sale. so they pay so much attention to their pet chickens, because they can make money from there and that money is to meet their needs and that of their family. So we cannot say completely that those who like cockfighting tend not to care about their families.

First of all, This is gambling and wasting money for the rooster maintenance for preparation to fight is really a careless acts since you don’t know if the rooster will win when they put on the match.

Many locals in our area usually over spend on rooster petting since it requires tons of vitamins and special pellet to make the rooster stronger. Typically, most of the owner spend out of budget that leaves their family suffer. I will understand if the expenses is for the rooster sales but this is gambling which makes tem really careless because it’s not a source of income.

719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A typical weekend in sport betting-Why do gamblers still do sport bets? on: September 03, 2023, 04:12:36 PM
What is the reason that sport bettors still continue to place sport bets?

Your reasoning is really logical for those players that only aim to win. There’s a lot of sports bettor that place bet on games that they want to watch and support the team to make watching more exciting. Also no one expects that there’s a lot of upset match on weekends since this is not a typical scenario. Maybe there are few weeks that show same result but there are weeks too that game is just normal.

Most importantly, not all bettors bet on the dominant team since chase higher odds by taking risk bet on under dog team.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: September 02, 2023, 06:09:04 PM
This environment with several people who are miserable because of slot gambling makes me feel sorry, because those who have everything disappear in just a few months to the divorce of husband and wife because of the economy. Men prioritize slot gambling to the point that they forget to take off their main responsibility as a husband's duty.

This is just a collateral for using gambling while a user can’t handle addiction. No one will suffer this same fate if they only knew how to self control since not all gambler experience the same instances despite playing same games. It’s all about how people handle responsible gambling and people with weak mind should avoid playing.

I believe those person that destroy their lives by playing gambling will eventually experience that same fate even if they don’t gamble since the problem is inside them that means they can still do it in different ways.
