861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: October 22, 2023, 03:23:39 PM

One time, I was promoting a gambling platform, and I got about 10 referrals. They were inactive users who created accounts only on the platform, and the platform promised me a $500 reward for each referral. But the problem was, the reward was locked. I could only get the reward if I accumulated a commission on my referrals’ wagers.
This policy added another layer of complexity. Some casinos don’t make their terms and conditions very clear. They hide them in dark corners.
My advertising money was essentially wasted. I ended up with a fake unclaimed balance.
Because you made many referrals for rewards on a casino platform, but your rewards were locked. Maybe you did something wrong with the casino, or the users who created the account from your referral link didn't play bad and didn't do KYC.

He didn’t something wrong but he didn’t do right either because referral rewards works as commission to the total rakeback earned by the referral user. You can’t just earn fix amount by bringing random user that became offline after they create an account.

The amount that he earned will obviously locked and just unlocked whenever his referral players will play and wager an amount until it meets the 500$ commission. It’s more on max possible earning for referral commission.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 22, 2023, 02:59:40 PM
Set Limitation - this is how we can generate low chance of losing.

Chance of losing is different to the amount that you can lose. I believe you are describing minimize money loss and not the chance of losing because there’s no way to impact the chances by just limiting your money that you wager.

Good Mindset - also our mind will dictate to what will do and indeed best solution.

I really like the good mind set because gamblers often lose when they are already tilted due to their losses. Having a positive mind or good mindset can make gamble still chill and control bet to avoid unnecessary increases of bet that often lead to total lose when lose streak hits hard by the time players increase bet significantly.

Self Discipline - is the best of them all , because with this those two above will be easy as 123.

Self discipline is easy to say than done because there’s a lot of factor on gambling that affects your mind when playing. I sometimes forget about this when I’m enjoying the game.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you prepare for a Bitcoin bull run? on: October 22, 2023, 02:12:26 PM
What do you think will be the new ATH, is $100k a very conservative estimate only? Or can it go  as high as $300kish....?

If we will follow the pattern base on the previous cycle. X2 of the previous ATH is the minimum target to be considered as ATH which around 130K+ but 100$ will probably a strong resistance since many traders will setup on that price level as target sell price since it’s a round number that is popular to every trader.

My target on next bullrun is to start taking profit when 90K hit then DCA sell every 10K price increase using 10% of my holdings until I sold 90% of my holdings and left the remaining Bitcoin as my FOMO holdings just in case the price will still sky rocket on insane level.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2023, 01:55:17 PM
Nouns did it again! It was fair from my side to call them dark horses of TI because they are determined to have a long run in this tournament and TSM really stood no chance last night against them. They will face Gaiming Gladiators in next series and I have a feeling we will get 3 maps between them but I can't tell for sure who is going to win because GG looks a bit shaky and Nouns are playing with no fear , no matter who they face.

Nouns have K1 Hector which is the most efficient carry on NA region when he is still on Beastcoast. I’m not surprised that this new team shows an incredible game here in TI since K1 is a monster too way back when he is on Beastcoast. I put him more stronger than RTZ if I rank carry on NA and SA region.

Meanwhile , today doesn't look like hyped but BetBoom should keep us entertained with 2 games right ?  As I don't think Keyd Stars will even put pressure on BB.

I’m looking forward on Tundra vs Entity because this will be a close fight. BB is more dominance than KeyD so the result might be one sided game.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: October 21, 2023, 04:49:53 PM
It made me understand that, despite during those days we had no phones or access to the internet, gambling is somehow embedded to the brain of humans. Then, as a child, we weren't exposed to gambling. I could only remember of lotto, as a kid. But we still said things like "let's bet it"

This is true. No matter what we do to control gambling, there’s always a point in our life which we will develop the curiosity to explore unknown territory such as alcohol, cigarettes, drug, gambling and other things that is unusual to human nature.

I agree on what you said because just like you, I just heard gambling on one of the adult in our neighborhood and I suddenly develop interest on it when I grow up until I’m capable to do it my self.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 21, 2023, 03:26:52 PM
Alright, folks, gimme a sec. I gotta crunch the numbers and convert that 70k bucks to our local currency. So, based on my math, it's nearly 4 million pesos! I reckon I'm gonna have to go through the whole KYC thing, you know, it's like hitting the jackpot for me. I'm ready to say goodbye to my mysterious, anonymous self, let the gambling site know who I am, and get my hands on that sweet, massive win!

When he gambler get the jackpot form the gambling,So he can quit the hard job which give the less money for the huge work. Most of the job was giving less pay for the more work in the real life.So the people suffering from such situation may try the gambling for the life upliftment. But it’s not guaranteed one,So it’s essential to have the mind set of both win or loss. The reason for the privacy is mainly for the tax paying,if the person who win will be identified by their government. Then the winning person need to pat the taxes for their winning. This was the biggest reason for the gambler to keep their privacy in the gambling sites.

This is the dumbest reasoning ever for people that has low salary on their job. Why find another job that pays well or improve your work for a chance to promotion to get more earnings.

People that using gambling as an alternative for being lazy on finding appropriate job usually becomes more poorer since gambling is designed to get money from players not the other way around due to the house edge. We gamblers are using casino games and services which casino is paying. We should be playing to get entertainment from their service and not to focus on quick rich scheme so that we can enjoy the game itself.
867  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can it be real bull or just a temptation. on: October 20, 2023, 04:37:58 PM
this doesn’t seems like bull run yet to me till bitcoin finds a support on the $30000 Margin and continues to move. We once had the bitcoin almost passing $32000 in march and we all expected at least a mini bull run but it didn’t happen. So this time I am not going to be tempted again. But should it increase to the price I set to sell some then I might consider selling but right now I am all in holding stage till the real bull happens after halving next year

Yeah, the currency chart shows a multiple top around 30k level which scary and at the same time promising since this can turn to a massive bullrun once the wall that denying Bitcoin to move forward suddenly break since the price will open up for much higher high.

I’m really not comfortable if the price stays and make a support at 30K since we witness a lot of time that the price slide whenever it’s sideways on this level. I hope 35K above is the safe spot to consider this another bull run.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hey Bitcoiners Choose Simplicity Over Complex Technicalities on: October 20, 2023, 03:12:49 PM
In summary, it is more practical to stick with user-friendly options that you understand well than advanced options. Simplicity and a strong foundation of knowledge are your best allies in safeguarding your bitcoin.

Actually this problem is being solved by hardware wallet companies. Everything safety that supposed to be complex becomes user friendly with the existence of this wallets. You don’t have to worry anymore whenever you connecting your wallet online since hardware wallet doesn’t share seed phrase.

I believe simplicity is really the main goal to attain mass adoption. The current technology development is already moving that way so in a sense your simplicity idea is not that bad.
869  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 🤝Referral Program 2.0 | 💸Get $1 500 + 30% from Referrals on: October 20, 2023, 03:00:39 PM
That is also correct, but before Betfury was one of the only casinos where you could mine the tokens to receive some dividend. For the people that bought the tokens, I agree that the price evolution has been lackluster and that they will need to come up with someone to change that.
Their wheel is indeed mediocre, but most free wheels on casinos are not really interesting (except for the WOF spins at freebitco.in).

What do you expect from free wheels? All casinos, including Betfury, create such wheels primarily to attract new audiences. I think the Betfury wheel is probably good in terms of attraction as it allows new users to get funfury and then win real cryptocurrency in a battle. However, I agree that this wheel is mediocre and may not be interesting for older users.
By the way, I will draw your attention to the fact that this year one of the big prizes of the wheel (1 bnb) was won only once. This means that either users started to spin the wheel less often, or Betfury has significantly reduced the chances of winning big prizes.

Worst if the winner of the highest prize this year comes from an insider or fake player.  Cheesy
Wheels is the worst promotion of a casino since the potential highest prize is too good to be true and nearly impossible to claim. A lottery is much better than a lousy wheel that gives peanuts every spin.

BFG token price is already stable. It’s good to accumulate the token now for the sake of staking because it gives decent return on the casino staking. Where do you stake your BFG? Planning to purchase now that crypto is starting to make a move.
870  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: October 19, 2023, 06:00:21 AM
Well, sure you are right, but everything still falls in the hands of the manager, i think it is his duty to make sure that everyone in the campaign is making good enough to quality posts as you have said regardless of what ever amount of money is being paid, the only thing i see here is that, with the low payrate, the job is sure harder for him to do, But i personally trust Cryptoprenuerbrainboss and know that he will deliver a good marketing services to Bitvest.

There’s no question about the integrity of campaign manager on handling the spammer. The problem is the user can already spam the forum before the manager can act since all post can only be reviewed once the week is already finished except if the manager will monitor the post of participants per day and kick them instantly then this can be solved properly.

I hope for a better outcome of this campaign or an adjustment in the future. Most important is this OG casino when I’m still new here is already back in the business.

Wish you all the best @lightlord.

Halos 1 year na dn kasing inactive yung old thread kaya diko na nabump. Hindi din naman masyadong active ang local board natin kaya hindi naman harmful kung gumawa ako ng new thread with reference sa old thread. Hehe

Temporary wallet lng ito while nasa bora ako.
872  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 19, 2023, 05:20:59 AM

Any recommendation kung ano ang magandang type na icollect for potential investment in the future?

873  Local / Pamilihan / Another Pouch.ph inquiry thread on: October 18, 2023, 04:14:47 PM
Planning to download this and use this ber months para sa Boracay vacation namin.

874  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: October 18, 2023, 03:56:10 PM
The pay rate is better now than it was before, although it's still low compared to other campaigns, the participants are assured that this is a long-term campaign which is one of the benefits, there was no escrow the last time, and it is good that Brainboss is now holding the funds and it will be top up from time to time.

Escrow funds is essential right now since the situation back then is different now. Lightlord has a very good reputation back then when the old campaign is running while the majority of his current red trust/neutral feedback is due to delay payment on the previous campaign. The owner is making everything to make this new launch possible and to get the trust of the forum.

The campaign is really designed long term since the pay rate is too small versus the amount of post the casino can get to participants.
875  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Staking on: October 18, 2023, 03:28:10 PM
Thanks for all the help. I manage to stake using Ledger itself as validator since they only charge 7.5% commission rate while other safe validators offer higher.

Also I just want to share that 21 days is required unstake Atom tokens for those who will read this thread in the future. I will not stake my tokens if I knew that it took almost a month just to unstake it without any reward. This info should be displayed during staking procedure. Ledger sucks at its finest!
876  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Ledger Staking on: October 16, 2023, 06:46:58 PM
I notice that ledger has its own staking page on the ledger live app. I become interested on the APY of Atom staking with a whooping 22% APY. I’m skeptical if the staking feature of ledger is from them or by 3rd party defi.

Anyone try to stake to their earn page? Their APY is way higher than the Cosmos hub staking offer. This makes me doubt the integrity of their Staking page.

Your input will be appreciated.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul Vs Dillon Dannis and KSI vs Tommy Fury Today! Oct 14th on: October 16, 2023, 06:26:11 PM
Well that one hell of a freak show this time Cheesy What was the story behind Dillon Dannis and Logan Paul? Why they decided to fight? One is supposed to be boxer, other is bjj guy. It was so stupid that a youtuber that claim to be a boxer can not knock out a guy who suck at bjj so much, that even club bouncer managed to choke him. Lol, DD did not even manage to close lock on those last seconds of fight.

Dannis trainer is Connor that probably leads him to this kind of arrangement for easy money. This kind of matches is already a trend. I wonder how this shit show still gets so much of support despite the poor performance in terms of boxing skills. The twitter barking is much more entertaining to watch rather than the real fight.

This kind of match might be staged to deliver entertainment to all the viewers. I will say that this is true if the fight will be on octagon instead of boxing that is very hard to fake.
878  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 16k DOLLARS LOSS IN JUST 1 YEAR on: October 16, 2023, 06:03:28 PM
Kindly share your experience that I m doing a loss you are also a part of my problem so that I want to khow where I done mistake.

Your statement is very vague due to the poor grammar but obviously you loss your money because you keep investing on tokens that is too volatile. You are also easy to jump on pumping tokens that gives you a huge lose since you purchased at top.

Use a long time frame next time when you view the chart and never purchase token that is just recently pump(few months or weeks) because this token will surely correct due to many early traders will take profit once resistance already hit and established. Purchased only Bitcoin if you don’t want problem. I’m sure you can quickly recover from this since you have high salary judging on how you can add capital every month until you come up with that lose within a year only.

880  Other / Off-topic / Re: 10 platforms where you can earn money performing tasks on: October 16, 2023, 04:12:36 PM
There are several online platforms where you can earn money by performing various tasks. Please note that the availability and types of tasks may vary based on your location and skills.

OP, you are so wrong, these aren't just platforms were you earn money by performing tasks. These are freelancing platforms where companies and other employers outsource  their projects to qualified professionals,

It’s still a task technically since companies will pay you per your work done and not on daily basis. Not all client on the freelance industry are companies that wants to outsource job, some of task their are from individual personal request with their given circumstances.

I use odesk aka upwork before and I have a lot of client that is just requesting a job for their personal interests. Maybe it depends on what work industry we are talking here.
