221  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Join BetFury Crypto Staking |🔥Get the highest APRs up to 170% on: February 22, 2024, 12:01:11 PM
Surprisingly, it looks like the Betfury team is still interested in making BFG a more valuable token. So, this time, they suggest reducing the circulating supply and implementing the BFG lock on the chain. What do you guys think about this vote on Betfury's site? Will this have a positive impact on the BFG price as they expect or not?

This will help to revive the price back because sell pressure will lower in case there will be price rally for this token in the future. They should start increasing the percentage of the profit sharing that they will use to buy back the tokens if they are really committed to boost the price because they are still the largest holder of BFG tokens that is still locked which means they are still the one who will benefit the most if they will focus on boosting the BFG price unlike what they are doing right now by taking profit on both the casino and BFG tokens liquidity.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: February 22, 2024, 11:05:35 AM
The idea behind gambling is rooted in our desire for risk, reward , and entertainment. Some people engage in gambling not just for making money but also for the thrill of taking chances and social interactions. As gambling it’s not just limited to staking bets as we call it. Some gamble by playing poker, whot and Luda etc because it provides opportunity for socializing and competitions. While others are motivated to gamble for just the financial gain

I doubt socializing and competing are main motive anymore for gambling esports that online casino are already popular now. It’s more own lquick gain” objective rather than socializing because most gambler nowadays doesn’t frequently use chats to interact when login in the casino.

You can by beer to have fun and not seeing it as a waste of money. You can give a friend little amount of money in a way he may want to give you back but you will not collect it as you see it as small amount, telling him it is a small amount of money. Only such money like that, that are small in amount set aside should only be used for gambling. That is the meaning. The fun you see there does not necessary mean fun. Just like an ideom.

I like this interpretation of having fun. We sometimes spend our money to get fun/entertainment. Same as gambling, we are paying for the chance to win money through taking risk which gives the entertainment part. People that missing the whole point of entertainment are frequently those focus on gains alone and forgot to cherish the games when they are taking risk.
223  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: February 22, 2024, 10:31:07 AM
I like your current promotion with the 10% bonus, I'll consider depositing in your website in few hours. The website looks goods however for those who are new comers and curious gamblers who wanted to explore your website won't be able to explore as you need to sign in first before you can explore it (though logging in with Metamask would only take 3 seconds) some still don't want to connect their wallets especially to new websites. Just a question, don't you have BNB in your deposit? I have some few BNB but do I really need to swap it to Ethereum first?

Even with the use of email address alone you can explore the casino easily because you will immediately receive the login link through email if you register using email address. There’s no need to input password because you will receive email link whenever you will login to the casino which is very easy and safe at the same time because you can’t be a victim of phishing.

Current they don’t have BNB but you have other currency as option to deposit aside from ETH. Most of their rewards is just paid on ETH though.
224  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 19, 2024, 06:13:53 AM
They just have to draw up the lessons learnt as I'm sure they would have seen one or two things to do differently in order to prevent future reoccurrence.  I think there is no cause for alarm here and investors funds are safe.
All sites that have a good level of security can also sometimes be hacked, not all loopholes can be closed perfectly and we never know what the hacker's motive is for taking the funds, I'm sure Duelbits will learn a lot from their mistakes, as long as they can still claim all the funds safe, all users should no longer need to worry about that and discuss this issue, because Duelbits continues to operate as usual and has not stopped their operations, so everyone can still gamble as usual.

Absolutely. Even Binance which is the top exchange encounter multiple hack in the past despite they the most advanced security on their field. The reason why services like Duelbits with strong security still being hack is because is they are popular which means they are the common target by hacker.

The more popular the casino is means the more possible security breach it will encounter that’s why they need to frequently upgrade their security as time goes by. This kind of hack incident will make them more secure because they learn how to counter this threat to avoid it in the future.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 19, 2024, 04:10:14 AM
But it's very difficult to determine when a person is addicted or just plays a lot.

That’s why account freeze initiated by the casino himself for suspected addicted gambler is non-existent because there’s no way to determine online if the user is really addicted or not. Just base on his gambling activity. All casino have self-exclusion feature as an alternative option to fight addiction because no one can determine is addicted except the person itself in an online world.

Although this self-exclusion is rarely being use since it’s very hard to detect addiction by the person itself. So overall casino doesn’t want to meddle on their user personal addiction problem unless the person itself initiated it and not the casino.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make use of what you disliked because you can't stay away from it. on: February 19, 2024, 02:50:47 AM
mailed them to block the account because I don't find anything suitable for my liken but they replied me saying they can't and I have to make use of the account until 90 days before they can block the account.
However, it's my money and they can't force me to use it, so they have to block the account. I see that the only way to stay away from the betting account is not to fund it again.

This is absurd reason from the casino because user has right to self-exclude or suspend an account if the user requested it. I have experience on requesting about suspending my account on day 1 of my registration because I don’t like their service and they do my request immediately after I confirm it via email. 90 days is just their made up rule to force you play.

Quote
So can anyone force you to make use of what you don't dislike?

No one has the right to force you because you are a customer. Besides you can help yourself by forgetting the website. Besides, if you really don’t like the casino then what makes you keep coming back on it if your account is still open while there’s a lot of choices available?
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which project/token inflicted your biggest loss? on: February 19, 2024, 01:56:29 AM
1.Which project/token inflicted your biggest loss?
Luna(Tera) for the win for me. This scam token caught me off guard because I purchased most of my portfolio when they are experiencing heavy sell off. I thought their buy back mechanism can recover the price but Do Kwon exit scam and abandoned the project.

2.What percentage and amount did you lose?
Almost 80% of my portfolio which is supposed to be in Bitcoin.

3.How did this experience impact your investment journey?
Never invest on wreck ship hoping that it will recover much better to invest on project that  showing already recovery or fresh project with potential to grow.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Advice ‼️ on: February 19, 2024, 01:49:07 AM
Hey everyone! I've got $1000 to invest before the next bull market kicks in. Should I spread it across five different coins or go all in on just one? What are your top picks for either strategy?

Correction and FYI. We are still on bull run so asking about potential investment for next bull run is still not relevant since the current is still not finish yet. But you should always stick to the safer side and choose Bitcoin and Ethereum at least on your top 5 and the last 3 coin should be the top performing coin on the current bull run.

You need to wait at least 1 to 2 years for the current cycle to end before you can invest on the next bull run cycle.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: February 18, 2024, 01:44:31 PM
How your small bet turns into thousands of dollars is something that happens very rarely. To be honest, I also don't like reading very long and complicated ToS. I appreciate you wanting to read it but if it were me then I would just ask people who have played there first. I think a trusted casino must have a strong community and it will be easy for us to get the information we need. If it's thousands of dollars I think it's easy to ask because there's a chance someone else has had this happen to them. But if it's tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars on very small bets, then there's a good chance you won't be able to withdraw your money if you don't actually read the ToS. But doesn't that sound like a fairy tale that is almost impossible to happen.

Trusting others for the casino ToS review is a bad idea because you are putting your moneys fate to someone. What if he is just like you that doesn’t read the ToS and trust other user on that matter but this time doesn’t read the ToS carefully?

It’s important to read it by yourself so that you can assure everything that is fine for your money. Blaming others when shit already happened will not gonna make you recover your money.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why mega threads always be kept open on: February 18, 2024, 01:02:22 PM
Some of our discussions and points in mega thread is pointless, does it not good to have a limitations of pages in a thread and immediately the thread get to its limit page it can be lock, so that everyone have it in mind, instead of spamming and be writing in some of the thread that is up to twenty to thirty [20-30] pages, [Observation] Their is some certain things that is not suppose to discuss in thread because people have already said those points,  but base on the thread is still on and they continue to spam, some persons discussed in one thread more than five times both knowingly and unknowingly, so it's good for we to abolish some mega threads depends on the subject.

Mega threads collect all the garbage post on one location. It’s really helping the forum to contain spam post rather than spread it on multiple thread that has similarities on topic.

It’s normal that some discussion will repeat since every thing that happening on gambling is just a repeated cycle. Also it doesn’t harm either a user personally unless you have the fetish to read all the post on a certain thread before you do a reply even if the thread already have many pages. If you are a regular forum user then this spam post on mega thread doesn’t bother much since you will just focus on opinion that you want to reply on that thread.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to own your bitcoin on: February 18, 2024, 12:33:03 PM

Yet excitement must be moderated. Cryptocurrency is profitable but volatile. My experience has taught me that every high has a bottom. Key? Diversification. Its wonderful to go "all in" and win, but dispersing risk may protect your prosperity.

Diversification on crypto market is useless since the general crypto market moves in same direction with Bitcoin but worst on altcoins when bear market hits hard. Diversification is only applicable if you will combine traditional investments to crypto investments so that you can balance your portfolio whenever there’s something wrong on one market because they move in different way.

The most safe way on crypto investments is invest only what you can afford to lose just like gambling due to its volatile nature. You can lose all your profit with just a short period of time so make sure to avoid over extending your capital.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: Save money today so money would save you tomorrow. on: February 18, 2024, 09:47:38 AM
To cut the story short, I’m advising mostly the young people of our generation to save, avoid unnecessary spendings and save even if it’s so little, cause you might find yourself in a situation tomorrow and you wouldn’t want to call home or ask for help, cause you have a second choice, that means you are literally getting yourself out of a problem. So please it’s not too late to stop spending on things that doesn’t really matter, so basically the money you saved today could literally save you tomorrow.

Saving is always the right thing to do regardless if there’s economic crisis or not since you don’t know what will be your expenses in the future. This is the golden rule of every house hold in my country because poverty is high here. I’m not sure how the first world country does when it regards to savings but it should be the golden rule in general unless you have unlimited source of income that is too much greater for your expenses.

I have a newborn child now that we celebrate her 1st birthday and christening on the same date to save money. This is what I will teach to her when she gets older so that he can learn how to value money.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buying and Selling of Casino Accounts (Discussion thread) on: February 18, 2024, 09:22:43 AM

There are benefits for VIP players, but those benefits come with additional wagering. So just buying an account is meaningless, it's better to build your loyalty from the start, we get prizes for leveling up, we can get some other prizes from wagering we have, and in the end, it's our account and we are legit & fair players... if something goes wrong we have every right to complain about it and seek/get some help.

The main target market of this account sales are those newly whales that want to try new casino since high rank account usually have better rakeback percentage which means they can earn a lot even if they are just starting compared when they start fresh. You can also add the special features exclusive to high rank that’s why this account selling becomes popular right now.

You’re right the buying this account is pointless if you will bet like a regular gamblers since it requires high volume of wagering in able to maximize the benefits of this account.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos team identity on: February 17, 2024, 05:06:01 PM
I've also thought about that, why don't they include their team list, maybe I think it's for their security too, because many countries prohibit gambling and only a small part accept gambling as a legal activity, and that's also why many people hate it. casinos that require KYC, especially as long as their reputation is good enough, there is no need to show off the casino team, we can easily find trusted casino sites on forums

It’s not about some country prohibit gambling since they have license to operate which means they automatically doesn’t offer their service on restricted country or else they will loss their license. I think it’s for the privacy purposes of all their employees including the owner.

We all know that online has full of some random people with different characteristics. Casino is just taking safety precautions. Also they are not startup project that needs appearance of the team for people to trust the casino.
235  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: February 17, 2024, 02:18:24 PM

Some of them are in profit its because sometimes the casino catch those people doing it so late and they enjoy a lot of what they are doing.

Maybe the people complaining regarding and create stories or bothering the Ann thread of the casino are those people who didn't earn yet then their funds has been confiscated due to said illegal activities has been done.

Much really better for those people not to think about doing it since there are ways that these casino will find out about their shady practices. If they want to bet then they do it without taking advantage of the system since if they do the same or other illegal act for sure they would encounter a issue and there's a chance that there funds will be confiscated by the casino operators.

Most of the time. Bitcointalk is now being use as last resort to recover their profit from this kind of strategy through pressuring the casino to release the funds by providing a narrative that looks like they are just doing normal bet. Their bet will obviously look normal since they are providing screenshots of their bet on the casino they have problem but the problem is underlying with the connection to different casino that they use.

It’s just tiring to give sympathy to the victim base on initial data then later on turns out that the user is involved on sure bet strategy.
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 02:01:34 PM

what do you think?. Do you believe he is right with the rigid approach to gambling?,  also should I continue convincing him  to try out something new and enjoy these great offers?.

Casino now have loyalty rewards which means you will earn greatrewards the more you stay playing to them since your VIP level is progressive. Sticking to one casino is good approach on gambling since most of the casino offer same games from same game provider. Casino just differs with their benefits and ToS for their games but the game itself is the same.

Therefore sticking to one casino is a good choice if we just talking about game experience while you can get more benefits on doing it through loyalty rewards. The only time I try new casino is when they offer exclusive bonus that has easy requirements to claim the reward.
237  Economy / Economics / Re: My top 3 picks for up coming crash on: February 17, 2024, 12:46:35 PM

Everything what's not traded in exchangers are dangerous assets to hold.

Im expecting the crash will start in few months.

I’m not quite sure if this right because an asset that can’t be traded on exchange means it’s less prone to dumping unlike assets that can be trade immediately since panic seller can do it immediately I definitely consider anything listed on stock market that will first hit by economic crash compared to luxury items that we all know that being collected by high profile person which is not that affected by recession compared to regular people that do regular trades.

Jeff Bezos already started it on his own stocks. Which means anything on stocks can suffer the same because even the richest person secure his asset away from his own stock.

239  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 16, 2024, 02:18:44 PM

yes, futuur does this kind of thing and there are also some other alternatives in the market like polymarket
I'm not sure what is the level of complexity to make it happen but maybe it's even less complex than sports betting where you have lots of odds changing all the time and way more risk for the house.
what do you think?

Aside from Futuur and Polymarket. Fairlay(https://www.fairlay.com/) is one of the most popular website that offers election betting option and other miscellaneous bets. AFAIK they are one of the oldest casino that offers election bets since it’s established since 2013.

About complexity of politics betting. I agree that election is less complex because there is surveys available which can give you a glance on what will be the possible outcome of election if it happened on the survey date. The only wild card is when there’s cheating involved because this can overturn result unpredictably.
240  Economy / Reputation / Re: Which campaign has the most spammers? on: February 16, 2024, 01:41:08 PM
The title of the thread fully describes the essence of the issue.

I tried to apply to one campaign, but my attempts were unsuccessful. I decided that it was better to know where not to apply so as not to be in a party with spammers.

Stake.com has the highest chance to be spammed since they have higher post quota while they have bonus system that rewards users with most post(most of the time).

I encounter some of the participants post in the gambling discussion thread that doesn’t have make sense even though it contains wall of post. Their wall of post is very terrible to read in a discussion thread not only because it’s too long but also there’s no value on it which is not the worth reading it. I’m not generalizing Stake campaign but this is base on what I observe on the gambling discussion board.
