Have you tried the latest wallet? I'm using the latest release, unfortunately dev didn't release windows binaries for this release yet. ( I'm using cli and gui for linux) Everything is working fine, just not for windows.

How? how do you put a .exe on linux? I´ve got GUI and CLI on 2 different WIn machines and tried the CLI on linux with no luck I cant see a config file on Win On windows you will have to used a .bat file to start , Windows : bitcediwallet.exe --seed-node seed0.bitcedi.org:55008 --seed-node seed1.bitcedi.org:55008 --seed-node seed2.bitcedi.org:55008 Linux : Latest release should be fine either compiled from source or using the GUI, please make sure you go on github and download the latest version. |

Try to be constructive, yelling for a developer is not an answer, we can all see the coin is pretty much alive. Is it mass-adopted like bitcoin ( ok not mass adopted but.., oh huge volumes ) no...can it be? Maybe, is it worth more? Yes.

We got support for Zawy difficulty algorithm v1 since Bytecoin core v1.0.11 in the generator and in Forknote. It shouldn't be a big deal.
We are planning to move a lot of Forknote coins to the Zawy difficulty algorithm in very near future.
Also it will be the default algorithm in new Forknote coins

BCN is dead now - no active pools, no open exhanges, no trust, no community.

I am surprised that people are still mining this coin. I tot it was dead long ago. Anyway, what is so good about BCN? What is the use case of BCN? Or is it just a clone of other altcoins.
Bytecoin is not either a Bitcoin clone, it's a cryptonote. |

Having this issue with latest release, tried under ubuntu 14.04 but I still have the same problem.

EDIT - seems like its a 32bit version, fixed it with sudo apt-get install libxpm4:i386

Nothing is at it seems however I don't believe volume really matters, technology is more important. Volume should not be a reason to delist a coin like BCN, remember who gave monero life. |

If the original dev returns he can fix his repo, otherwise the community can move on without him (if people care to bother). No one should ever send their coins to some unknown stranger on this forum whether said unknown stranger claims to be doing a 'coin swap' or not. If you want to do a legit swap, then find a very trusted member to collect the old coins, with the condition that they will be returned if the coin swap is not successful. Agreed, User "weedgalz" seems to be doing this to all cryptonotes, not sure about his intentions, but since Nicnac and Murzibia appeared this team of users are quite suspicious. Sure intec, you can blame me for global warming and those other for the Major Bug. And in other news SWAP NOW and DO NOT DELAYYou can just fix it on current chain. Why a swap?
