It's dead. Not everyone should be running their own "market fund" or whatever, especially if you held pirate passthroughs.

Must have pissed off Anonymous somehow. Everyone knows that they are responsible for all hacks.
HACK THE PLANET
Its more likely to be Something Awful who hacked it. Because MP was an idiot and challenged them. Wait, so a DDOS attack is a "hack" now? Please go to http://mpex.coinbr.com, a web proxy to the MPEx backend, and tell me if it's been "hacked". It's like someone DDoSING NYSE's website and then claiming they shut down the exchange. You know the saying, there's always a relevant XKCD comic :)

Gee, if only there was some kind of bitcoin-like, proof-of-work based DNS that was impervious to these kind of redirect shenanigans. Oh wait, .bit and namecoin are well known technologies, but too many sheeple ignored them and not it's almost too late. /THEY DIDN'T LISTEN!!!!1 Mircea Popescu redirected it to the whitehouse.gov for lols.

did this go anywhere?
Nope, CREATE has being cancelled: Hey all,
After rereading this thread and thinking about whether this would work, I've concluded that while it would be a fun project, it would not succeed as a business, or as a security on an exchange like this. As some have pointed out: the profit margin simply isn't advantageous enough to produce enough revenue to make it worthwhile.
So, I am returning all funds to shareholders via a dividend scheduled for noon today. And I'll just eat the 5btc asset creation fee.
Thanks to everyone who supported this despite its rough start. I've learned from this that I should get a diverse opinion before jumping into something. I'll always be on the prowl for new projects and businesses!
Best, Garrett

Yes! Bitcoincharts has historical data of every single trade on Gox.

Some interesting domains but all the GPU ones are pretty much worth nothing now.
Also, digital goods board?

^^ Incoming loan request from this guy.
? Link? Nvm, I remember he had already submitted a 1 BTC loan request earlier. Regardless of that, his postings lead me to believe he was setting up to ask for a loan. In fact they all look like marketersales/OrangeVonPurple. Pro scammer hunting tip: Don't trust people who go straight to the lending section after building up oneliner posts.

That's how much people are willing to pay for it. It's quite like the gold rally actually, and I don't think there will be a major crash.
So you think that it won't be back down to the 20's /30'? Nope, there's tons of room to grow. We may (possible but not very likely) hit the triple digits, I think we'll crash >$60 and down to about 60-80% of the peak. There's so much buying pressure when the price drops.

Dooglus put it well. I take this as a sign that we've made it :) I also see it as a general success indicator of bitcoin.
And imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? (Not that it's a very good imitation, but the resemblance is striking...) That page doesn't load for me, but I would not trust a site that does a ctrl+c of the CSS file.

Not another disguised post promoting the scam & premined ripple currency after being bribed by OpenCoin Inc again..

There is also using coin dust as an identification / data passing method, such as what is used by MPEx. I don't suggest rounding it off on large screens (ie desktop, tablets), but for mobile devices rounding wouldn't be a bad idea.

Are you the same person posting about "passive income" and wordpress themes a bit before?

NO need for scam tag... it's a game - it's in the gambling section and it's written in the OP
Was a sarcastic post if you couldn't tell by the exclamation marks :)

For example, I just gambled 1.6 on 50% but it got double spended. And thus it has become an invalid bet. SatoshiDICE only guarantees the payouts it makes will confirm if your wager confirms as well. So your bet to them ended up being invalid. I won and got 3.2 btc back, but that transactions is also double spended. Yup, that will never confirm if it ended up being a double spend. The bet and the winnings was confirmed yesterday, and now says no double spend detected, yaay Congratulations! Better to stop while you're ahead. I know it's hard, but really stop.

Many cryptocoiners are paranoid because the bitcoin world is rife with scammers. It's disgusting, and you hardly see this anywhere else.
420 is what I'd call a "forum superstar", but just because you spent a lot of time on bitcointalk doesn't mean you're automatically trusted. You need actual reputation.

somebody is hacking Mt.Gox, run for cover! coins for 0.001 soon!
No, stop spreading FUD please.

For the moment it is down indefinitely, sorry for any inconvenience. Its nothing too exciting but I won't be able to provide any updates until mid week at the earliest. Site is down currently because the site relies on cloudflare for dns ( https://www.cloudflare.com) which is also is down. Yeah, quite a few sites are down because of cloudflare. Could you make a quick comment regarding send anonymously? Please? I think there's a gag order actually.

There's really two ways you can solve this now - getting a lawyer or hoping the Coinabul gets a scammer tag from theymos. It doesn't look like Coinabul is willing to fold otherwise.
