A total of 6,670,790 shares were sold this month alone, at an average price of 0.00588503 per share (39,257.82 BTC total). So, what are you talking about?
no one cares about the average price, people care about the last price.  And the last price was quite low.  That is what he was talking about, the fact that the price dipped down to IPO levels..

Well, no BTC was stolen (unless mp ran away with the coins).

This is just downtime really.

to those upset, think of it this way... now people will have to pay several times more than you did to get to the same share position you're at. sit back and enjoy the income... dice is making record profits every month. we are all lucky  Smiley

Must have pissed off Anonymous somehow.  Everyone knows that they are responsible for all hacks.

HACK THE PLANET

Its more likely to be Something Awful who hacked it. Because MP was an idiot and challenged them.

Eh lay off the pipe. Nobody hacked anything. Some neckbeard that can't read figured ddosing the mpex.co domain may do anything. MP redirected it to the White House as a lark, they've had their lolz on irc over it and all that. MPEx still trades, for one, the domain doesn't matter, for the other.

Take this as a sort of security drill: MPEx is untouchable.

Wait, so a DDOS attack is a "hack" now?

Please go to http://mpex.coinbr.com, a web proxy to the MPEx backend, and tell me if it's been "hacked".

Redirect or DNS change? I don't think dos-bots follow redirects.
