141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long should one have to wait to sell on: March 25, 2018, 03:14:31 PM
It is simple for me - until it hits your target or until you until price is against you and you can't hold bag for long time. You should use stop loss, IMO.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulating Crypto killing the market? on: March 25, 2018, 09:44:47 AM
In my opinion it is just shaking weak hands and whales accumulating the most promising tokens. It is better to wait until things settle down and re-enter market again. Regulations in long term is good for crypto.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: March 25, 2018, 09:40:06 AM
It is very difficult to answer - hold or sell. It depends on how much money you invested and do you need cash now to pay your bills. I think you can hold tokens and BTC you believe long term and wait for bull market to come back. Just sell half of your position to hedge in any way.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BLOCKv [VEE] The foundation of the Virtual Goods Economy. 12 OCTOBER on: March 23, 2018, 05:36:54 PM
Discovered this project only today as it gets harder to search through thousands of tokens on coinmarketcap and other resources. It looks very interesting and has great user experience features. I like it and invest some of capital into this project.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STORM Token: Earn Free Cryptocurrency[ICO] on: March 23, 2018, 04:33:41 PM
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/ethereum-transactionfees.html#3m

that chart means your token is worthless.... lol. you can't facilitate micro-transactions on a network where the average cost per transaction right now (lowest point this year) is 37 cents! 3 transactions cost a dollar!!!! ha!!! maybe if you had it on a better network like expanse...
unless eth tanks this will be worthless as a token on the eth network.

I don't log on here often... ideas don't make anything valuable...

You are newbie here and have no understanding what is coming and how scalability will grow exponentially reducing costs of transaction almost to 0. Also, there will be channels for 0 cost per transaction.
Storm is great project.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash] on: March 23, 2018, 01:21:06 PM
Now is very good time to start add to BTCP position. It can play very well as privacy coins have extremely good pumping patterns. Bitcoin Private has huge community behind it and features that original BTC hasn't.
I'm looking to add more before major exchanges start to list BTCP.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good amount to invest? on: March 23, 2018, 11:28:55 AM
In crypto you can start with 1000 and grow it into 10k if you are lucky. It is similar to gambling but not to investment. As advised here, all money in crypto could go to 0. You should know this fact and don't buy if you can't allow to lose.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CrowdMachine - The Worlds Most Advanced Distributed Computer on: March 21, 2018, 01:37:51 PM
I checked this project and added it to my ICO watch list. It looks interesting to me, especially, why blockchain needs new infrastructure:

While Blockchain promises to streamline and disrupt many industries such as government, banking, financial services, insurance and supply chain, it will not become mainstream until blockchain applications are cheaper, faster and better than the existing central authority, cloud technologies we use today.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: March 21, 2018, 11:46:51 AM
These events like coincheck hack remind me of Spartan mothers leaving their new born babies outside overnight, it weeds out the weak, leaving the strong to become badass motherfucking warriors. XEM survived the cold night, and now becomes badass warrior. If a crypto Can't benefit from being the source of the biggest theft in history, it deserves to die!

Point taken, but what an awful analogy! NEM is an inanimate object. It has its value but it's not alive. Leaving newborn babies exposed to the elements is plain cruel. Just makes me cringe as a parent.

LOL the analogy sucks but I agre than NEM made it through the dark night
Many coins take years ... The exchange was great to refund the customers unlike some other shit exchanges which got hacked recently

Shows the difference between professionally run exchange like Coincheck and a shady job exchanges which are dime a dozen

The recent wave of FUD and media scare campaigns is good if it weeds out the weak cryptos, and a mega hack is nothing compared to a full frontal government assault like a outright ban. Crypto needs to survive that if it's going to survive long term, and out of +1500 coins I only see 3-4 that would.

Take XMR for example, all it would take to have it crumble into a pile of dust would be news that Ricardo Spagni was on his knees in a South African prison servicing other inmates after being arrested on trumped up charges if anonymous coins were ever banned, and remaining XMR dev team would vaporise into thin air. Same for Z-cash with Zooko Wilcox, if he gets called into the FBI for a chat, Z-cash goes in the toilet.

In a few years crypto will likely be a battleground, with key people getting arrested for SEC violations and people will do jail time for some ICO abuses. When that happens only the Spartan coins will survive, and even a 500mil hack will look like a smack on the bum, not a night outdoors for a newborn. It's coming guys, WAR

That is the point why legendary "Satoshi Nakamoto" is anonymous. I tend to agree with you that anonymous cryptocurrencies will be shutdown during next few years. It poses too much risk for political stability and the best way is to arrest developers.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: March 20, 2018, 07:23:11 PM
For me no questions about: 0X (ZRX) and Basic attention token (BAT). I will also included Civic to my list. XRP could bring very big gains (if bull market will return), hype and media will do this favor for Ripple.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with PASSIVE INCOME? on: March 20, 2018, 07:18:06 PM
There are a lot of POS and masternode coins/tokens to get passive income as well as DPOS, for example Waves, NEM. However, for half a year I'm experimenting with Kucoin and it pays well (during the peak price jumped to ~20USD).
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: March 20, 2018, 06:28:41 PM

Patientory team continues to be very active and hard working. Just hours ago they attended another health development gathering. Soon I won't be surprised if they will get big partnerships. This is a serious project which is very useful and applicable.

I got some coins very early and hold my bag until this day. I still think PTOY will surpass mark of 1 USD. It was not wise to hold token during bear market and the price from now can suffer as well. We will see but in long term I'm bullish.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ZRX] 0X Project Speculation on: March 18, 2018, 07:55:34 PM
I bought some 0X last year and stored them safely. Checked my balance today - it is absolutely #rekt  Shocked
It is a lesson why hodling is irrational as I sold other assets and protected my funds.
However, I think we will recover later this year or in 2019.
the whole market is red  don't expect that ZRX can hold it alone. But in long run I think ZRX will hit more than 5$.

What if 0x gets delisted from centralized exchanges? I hope that SEC will not consider ZRX as security or something like that happens:

We should also expect decentralized exchanges to pick up some of the slack from their centralized versions that will likely be forced to delist tokens, while others will just die off of illiquidity or protracted litigation.

155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A bad timing to invest in an ICO? What are your insights? on: March 17, 2018, 10:38:17 AM
The best method with ICO's for me is as follows: find interesting ICO/s, wait until the sale is finished and token is listed on small exchange with poor liquidity, place your orders lower than ICO price because bounty hunters and pre-sale buyers are selling. Get it really cheap. Wait until token is listed on bigger exchange/exchanges. It will grow in value significantly. The last step is sell and get profit. Worked for me very well.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOS] 🔹🔹 BOScoin 🔹🔹 Self-Evolving Cryptocurrency Platform🔹🔹 on: March 16, 2018, 01:21:12 PM
I have seen this interesting comparison table for many different projects, including BOScoin. Could we improve over time and get more interoperability?

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bcash to 20,000$ end of 2018 on: March 16, 2018, 01:11:10 PM
I think that Bitcoin cash will grow significantly until 2020 as it has strong leader - Roger Ver to lead the project. However, I doubt that it will cost 20k.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I HOLD this: ----> post your holding coins! on: March 15, 2018, 06:44:55 PM
My bag is to big but now I mostly hold cash  Grin this is not that I don't have any coins but I want to buy as much as I want for better prices. It is a way how bear market works.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: March 15, 2018, 10:12:27 AM
If BTC goes down (and it seems that it will continue downtrend) XRP will, definitely, drop in terms of USD as well as in BTC. Be careful here. We are experiencing falling knifes everywhere around us in crypto markets.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy up BTC at this time? on: March 15, 2018, 10:01:18 AM
Yes i think this is the most valuable time to buy BTC, price is under $9k. So investors can move towards it. For many days it is doing up down in $9k. So i think it will not down from it. Buy BTC and be a lucky man.

Bad thinking and very risky. I predict further drop of BTC price until the bottom of 3k or 1k. The cycle must end with more blood. If you buy now and hold, you will be losing because downtrend is intact and newcomers are missing. The price should be depressed more to encourage new comers to step in and start the new cycle.
