Thanks,

Lol your a noob,

They are reinventing the internet and your complaining about how long they are taking.

You try to reinvent the internet.

Once Beta is out- this puppy is cruising to 3 billion dollars market cap minimum.

That is being pessamistic.

Otherwise i would say that sky is the limit.

Heck - i didn't think i would say this, but once this is out, Maidsafe will overtake Bitcoin with 3  years.

You heard it here first.

No possibility for MAID to overtake Bitcoin as they are operating on absolutely different things. MAID is designed as technological innovation to decentralize internet and Bitcoin is designed as "store of value" and probably payment system after a lot of updates.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DECENTRALIZED crypto currency (including Bitcoin) is a delusion (any solutions?) on: March 01, 2017, 10:03:32 AM
Guys, you really must check Nexus project as they are working on "decentralizing the decentralization":

843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [RaiBlocks] RaiBlocks trading thread on: March 01, 2017, 09:57:04 AM
sell 830 Mrai @410sat/each

I remember buying Rai lower than 100 satoshi per each. Nice movement of price.
How much can I get for 0.01 BTC?
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]The Legends Room Las Vegas 😍 Gentlemen's Club Membership 😍 PRESALE LIVE on: February 28, 2017, 08:58:40 PM
A real-world token for something that people like.

Well done with this. Can't wait to see how it develops.

Great point! I also think that "The Legends Room", finally, delivers somewhat men actually like  Smiley
Take your seat and watch the show, yes?
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: February 28, 2017, 08:55:05 PM
Despite the current price I still think that Factom has a lot of room for growth this year. It is possible 0.01...
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: February 28, 2017, 03:42:20 PM
You are actually right I don't think litecoin is going to survive anymore. As far as I remember it started a bit late than bitcoin and it did havr value like people were saying it would become like bitcoin and reach 100$ but unfortunately it didn't get the attention it needed and bitcoin got way ahead of it and litecoin became a dead coin.
I think the current altcoins can show some good returns I recommend to invest little little in 2-3 altcoins you never know what can happen.

You are right. I also think that you need to invest in several altcoins  at the same time, to make it secure. And the fact that litecoin  did not receive proper development is bad. But this wine developers are likely. If they worked well on the project, the coin would have lived so far.
The coin is living but for now i think it is worst than eth also recently after a long time eth got any increase but litecoin
it has the same price of maybe some .2$ increase from 2 years. I still think if the developers try to make it better or
try to develop it more it can increase in the coming years

You are talking nonsense. The price of the coin is not an indicator if it is dead or alive. Technical analysis and mining are the best indicators to consider it. So, go check LTC and ETH mining before spreading bullshit here.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'This is my project now, thanks.' Whats the plan with https://www.glbcoin.com/ ? on: February 28, 2017, 12:42:14 PM
Happily that I dumped all my bitbay holdings as I was aware of their pump and dump schemes. Seems that they are trying to pump more money in cooperation with this mystery "global holdings" crap.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starting up a Cryptonote Coin for our micronation. on: February 27, 2017, 01:23:17 PM
Hello there, I'm making this thread in order to ask for some help in regards to a project I have in mind.

Me and a few people have started, about 2 years ago, a micronation and I personally dedicated some time to it even though it was just for fun. We wanted to create a community and we've gathered around 100 people but projects like this (a micronation) tend to fade if there's nothing to keep the people together such as real territories, real borders or anything palpable at all. That's why I came up with the idea of creating a coin for this. I've chosen the Cryptonote algorithm because this way any member of our community can mine with his/her own personal computer. Also, it will be PoW only. I will make a separate announcement page when things are getting closer to becoming reality.

The thing is, when I tried to make the coin happen I got stuck on compiling it and I ran into some problems, I also need some advice on how we should handle the nodes because we really lack the hardware and there aren't many willing to contribute with money. I don't need any changes to the basic algorithm just small details so there won't be much work for a professional dev. The way I will pay is by giving a part of the premine to the one that will help us. We're a small community and we would really appreciate the help.

The coin will be used probably for trading among our members or who knows maybe we'll expand. I hope this message will be received well, thank you in advance.

You must be rich as hell. Early bitcoin whale?

Anyway, I think what you should do is accept an already existing cryptocurrency, such as bitcoin. If you accept bitcoin in your micronation, you have already put yourself in the map and you will have a lot of support.

People starting altcoins are always seem as scammers that want to get other people's bitcoins, so good luck with your altcoin if you don't just accept btc.

I absolutely agree with you! You can use Bitcoin instead of creating a new altcoin that nobody needs. You can also become an ambassador of Bitnation instead of creating your own micronation. The platform gives you an opportunity to play with it in different ways. Just check it:

849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BURST vs STORJ on: February 27, 2017, 01:17:19 PM

Storage aspect is only one part of BURST...

That's is the reason why I think Burst will fail going forward, once I see a Altcoins that want to be everything, I know something is wrong somewhere. Storj team knows what they want and are pursuing that goal and have just secured $3million investment, can Burst team market their project to VCs and be able to secure that kind of funding

what are the other aspect of Burst project

BURST doesn't try to be everything to everyone ...quite the contrary.  Right now the most buzz with BURST is the HDD green mining and investing in its own Asset Exchange.  The storage aspect is down the road I believe.

The community seems to be growing wildly.  It is a coin of the people...it was not premined, no ICO... while maybe some VC money comes in, it is growing through grass roots efforts.

While I agree with you upon many aspects you mentioned but I don't think that only decentralized asset exchange can help project to survive the harsh competition. I also do not like to compare Storj and Burst as there are 2 different teams and different goals. Storj received funding via Bnktothefuture (if I'm right). It is very serious project with real use value. Burst is good because you earn by trading or holding assets on decentralized exchange. However, after careful study of it, I do not see a lot of potential of it. For now, Burst is an opportunity to make more Bitcoins by exchanging Burst coins to BTC. This could change if people will keep their coins and not sell. I mean that Burst should have value itself.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XDRAC] - Drac, a safe coin for a daily use on: February 27, 2017, 11:36:18 AM
What are you trying to improve in cryptocurrency space with your new coin? Do you mean that other alts are not safe? How can you reach daily use if even Bitcoin doesn't?
851  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: February 27, 2017, 10:04:29 AM
This is cool - I am wroth about $5  Cheesy

Not worth $5 as I'm not sure if I myself can sell my account for this as Sr. Memeber. However I'm not wishful to do that at all  Tongue
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what about altcoin with unlimited potential supply? on: February 27, 2017, 09:59:37 AM
does ripple pretty much unlimited supply?

Actually, Ripple has limited supply of 100,000,000,000 XRP but it is not a problem with supply the problem is with the quality of blockchain. There are different algorithms and different blockchain solutions. Altough I like the concept of Ripple I see major problems of its blockchain security. Currently, the best blockchain is provided by New Economy Movement (NEM) and people are just unaware of its potential. When they will understand it I expect the price of NEM to skyrocket.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain vs DAG (Byteball's concencus algorithm). on: February 27, 2017, 09:51:19 AM
Can bitcoin somehow adapt DAG?

No. Bitcoiners are scared of changes.

It is not that we are scared of changes. I am eager to diversify some of my BTC portfolio, to make gains faster by getting into a project that is not smoke and mirrors/not a plain meme, the problem is, I can't find it. There is always something that makes me thing im investing into a short lived pump and dump, or medium term pump and dump at best if the project is something ambitious but ultimately has flaws that make it nonviable long term.

I don't feel like getting my hard earned BTC scammed by investing in altcoins that don't end up delivering anything relevant enough beyond what BTC can currently (or in the future) offer. And I work my ass off for a low paying job with bad health in order to invest in my BTC portfolio and continue growing it so that makes me extra cautious when investing a single satoshi.

You're experienced member and eberything you said is reasonable. I, personally, think that in long term Bitcoin will lose its crown and other cryptocurrency will take a lead. But this question is not about a value but about a mass adoption. Bitcoin can sustain its value as a concept of store of value but it is not suitable for everyday transactions. Byteball is revolutionary. I have bytes in my portforlio and doing very well. I also invested in RaiBlocks. It is a perfect micropayment system that, IMO, could overtake BTC in the so-called Third World.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: SilverCoin new cryptocurrency ICO BOUNTY on: February 26, 2017, 08:49:48 PM
This is called a pyramid scheme.

Done countless times before except this time there is a premine AND ICO. The only guarantee in life is if you participate in this you will lose money.

Another shitcoin pyramid scheme. Just skip it and do not waste your time trying to get some referrals here. Better read this forum and find what you can do better than advertise shitcoins.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Charlie Lee just lazy? on: February 26, 2017, 08:11:27 PM
Why has the development been so lazy? They had the golden goose at one time. One of the fairest launches in crytpto and the number 2 spot to bitcoin. Just to see it all slip away as the competition continued to innovate. There has been nothing done to improve the coin and as it slips and slips down the charts you hear nothing other then Segwit implementation that nobody wants apparently. Its a shame. Eth had the fork problem which presented the perfect opportunity for Litecoin to return to the top. Dash was smart and did what should be done. But with the premine in the beginning.......

I don't know what do you expect what else should be done when you have perfectly working coin? Litecoin is a good place to test Segwit and not Charlie Lee decides accept it or not. However, I can understand your complains regarding the price. I'm not sure if any development could help here. But in my opinion - Bitcoin is for "store of value" and Litecoin for "everyday transactions". Win win situation.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a bagholder? Which altcoins do you hold? on: February 25, 2017, 10:50:46 AM
I'm long holding XMR, MAID, FCT, GAME, SC and WAVES. Some other coins are also in the wallets, so I do not have temptation to sell them. Just from my experience - it is much profitable to hold coin long than do day trading. You can make more profits.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin price kill Altcoins? on: February 25, 2017, 10:47:35 AM
I don't think that Bitcoin rally will kill altcoins. From my experience I can say that when Bitcoin is going to a bubble (now it is uncertain if it is entered it or it is just pre-ETF speculation) altcoins are pumping even harder than BTC. It means that you can get more profits holding altcoins instead of keeping all portfolio in BTC. Only time will tell but I think that very soon all altcoins including shitcoins will pump very hard. Historical charts are teaching us about that. Though not all agree that historical patterns of chart moving is important but I'm sure they are.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe:  Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet on: February 24, 2017, 07:39:30 PM
Nice cup and handle formation usually indicating bullish trend. MAID was doing very well before the BTC rally started. But from the technical analysis it is clear that MAID is doing very well and will be in the future.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Blockchain powered immutable cloud computer on: February 24, 2017, 05:58:32 PM
People please just stop complaining about the price. We all know why it is going down. Just look what BTC is doing and check the price of other altcoins. But what I'm sure about, when BTC rally settles altcoins will pump hard. It means that Expanse will also go high in value. Just be patient and wait.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please encourage beginners to say on: February 24, 2017, 05:10:49 PM
Can all coins be mined?
What is the difference between mining coins and non-mining coins?

The difference is pre-mine when total supply of the coins are mined at the start of the project. Though it seems that mineable coins (you can mine accoding to the algorithm) are inflationary but it is not always a case. It depends on supply and demand. For example, BTC is a mineable coin but it is not inflationary because of demand.
