It's the same thing like last year ...and again in some months they will all come back and cry like little babies!
First of all, dumps are made by market makers/manipulators. Some panic sellers join this party as a losers (so called "Gamboni Play"). 90-95% of all traders must lose something, to give their capital to the winners. Laws of jungle:) The more exchanges, the less manipulations on price (but manipulators exists always, despite of number of exchanges, but for price it's not so painful, dumps looks like health corrections). That's also explain, why in case of XEM we have so thin market with only few exchanges. The main purpose is, that it will serves good for manipulators. Who are this persons? I dont know, so i dont even try to write here their names. But i have some suspicions and of course hold these for myself. The "best blockchain" marketers, and whole NEM Foundation should seek fast resolve for this problem, in other case... I dont even want to imagine that or write it here, what will be in other case. All i know is that many people avoid investing their money in so fishy situation. Moves of price in case of XEM are for now only in cathegory "Pump&Dump", and not health growth. And of course postponed Catapult (in May Lon Wong has mentioned about Summer) gave to market some uncertainty about that matter. Now we have December as a Catapult release time, but who knows, every delay makes less confidence among market players. They move to many other promising projects, even with not so "cosmically best blockchain technology" but with much better marketing. edit// and "support" 4700-4800sat broken, as expected (by me;)) If all you're seeing is investment and P&D schemes, you are looking at this whole community/tech the wrong way. Cryptocurrency is much more than just simple trading games, it goes much more beyond that but it will not be so obvious until the strongest coins chosen by the market become mainstream. Do not worry about price of short term gains and look at the long term benefits of such technology. If all goes well, this tech will change the world hopefully for the best. I agree with you that true investors shouldn't worry about dumping in short term if they are convinced about technology. However, for traders it is impossible to stay in altcoin market. For a few months the best solution is to exchange all alts to BTC or fiat and wait for bottoms. We don't know when the next rally will start but for now it is kind of weird to stay in alts. However, the problem is that today we see very low liquidity in altcoin market and it is very difficult to sell big positions. |

Many altcoins are going down while BTC is rising. It is not a new thing and we know that it will happen if BTC continues its rally. However, I expect that some alts will catch up with BTC.

This project is definitely worth more attention. As I said before, price movement doesn't reflect the quality of the game but we should expect increase of the price as well:
1. BVD game is popular and almost bug free gaining more popularity among gamers;
2. Burning of NXC coins;
3. Direct purchase option of NXC tokens with fiat.
Needs patience but i see huge potential here. huge potential to dump, yes right How big is the delay with the release on steem? Where is any pr and marketing? If you don't like, just dump and go away. Others will wait until it pays back. I know that people want a lot of cheap NXC to accumulate, so they are spreading FUD here to harm the price. |

In the stock markets they have activist investors that hold large chunks of the stock and use that as leverage to get the company directors to change direction/strategy. I could see something like this happening with crypto world and BTS specifically. They are suffering from a severe lack of recognition and need to get their name out in some marketing campaigns. I'm not sure if marketing could help here. If product is strong people will eventually come and support technology. Bitshares is veteran crypto and it is going down most of the time. Project doesn't depend on price, it can go down as it is doing now. This movements doesn't reflect the quality of the game. It is pure speculation. Traders accumulated for a long time and then dumped their coins. Now the new cycle begins. We don't know what will happen to the price but it is not surprising to see more speculation and dumping. I think that now it is too late to sell and probably a little bit to early to buy. |

Let's delist Bittrex from crypto business! Poloniex got what it deserved and is going to crash. The same will happen with Bittrex. We know that DEX is the future. p. s. Bitshares is largest from these cryptos, holds $155 mln in capitalization and fell in just a few minutes by a 24%, while Draco’s price decreased 60% and DAR -58%. This means effectively death for these virtual online coins and big losses for unlucky investors.
The reason behind this purge is SEC (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) demand to stop these coins from being offered by Bittrex, because they are securities. Let's do this tweet keep sending to Bittrex to show how deeply community and supporters of BTS are concerned about this sudden announcement of delisting without any reason. If they have server storage problem they should enhance capability of their system. It is really unfair way. The dev team is definitely lacking in terms of marketing. If it was on par with other cryptos of this level it would for sure be getting more attention. If you're an investor I guess you can do your part by making your own videos/posts in the usual spots to spread the word.
Since I am an investor, I should not have to sell other people on the product. It's not about the pump, it's about the actual product IMO. It's good, but needs to be pushed by the DEV's or company, not by us.. It will be done soon. I think devs are concentrated on development of the game and will push on marketing after full release. |
