Just a reminder to all who are buying and selling contracts...

The original LRM bonds underwent a 1 -> 3 split in March.  If you had previously bought 100 bonds, you now hold 300 contracts.  Keep that in mind for your trades.

grnbrg.

Is that the case under either contract version?

Yes.

I'm having a bit of a hard time following this thread with all the noise in it.  Is there a post somewhere that dictates how we can get our shares converted to the new contract?  I have never provided an email address to grnbrg or to labrat so I definitely have not been contacted about this.
Yeah, the information I have indicates you are verified, but don't have an email address associated.  I'd email labrat@labratmining.com (or PM me) with a message stating your intention to convert, signed with your LRM Bitcoin address.

@grnbrg
You got some sort of insider info or why this sudden purchase  Huh
No secret insider info.    I think the contract price is lower than it should be, and that (barring any legal suits, which I think will cause more harm than do good) they are probably as low as they will go.  Worth gambling another coin over, I think.

And a repost of the how-to, to make things run as smoothly as possible....

(I'm leaving the transaction fee at 0.015BTC for now.

  • Seller has a public Bitcoin addrss <Seller-Address>, Buyer has a public address (which may be new, if the buyer does not currently hold any LRM bonds) <Buyer-Address>.
  • Buyer and Seller have agreed on the number of bonds, and a price for the transfer.
  • Fee for the transaction is 0.015BTC.
  • Both Buyer and Seller need to sign and send the below message to me, via PM, email, IRC, carrier pigeon, or some other method.  I don't care how it gets to me, I just need the message.
  • The message should be a single line of text.  Multiple lines tend to be easier to mess up.
  • Message should be:
<Number> bonds to be transferred from <Seller-Address> to <Buyer-Address> in exchange for <Price> BTC. <Price> BTC will be escrowed to 1EYVW3ZUu3R8fd3xtWi5jh4ceTXZ7Z1uht and <Price - 0.015> will be paid to <Sellers-Address>
  • BTC can be sent to escrow at 1EYVW3ZUu3R8fd3xtWi5jh4ceTXZ7Z1uht (my address) at any time in the process.  If the transaction fails, I will return 100%.
  • Once I have verified the signatures from both messages and received the payment, I will transfer the payment (less the fee) to the seller.
  • Once the seller is paid, I will communicate the trade to Lab_Rat, the buyer and seller, and post it publicly here.  This final trade notification will be signed with my GPG key.

Note that the above message is just a suggestion, which assumes payment of the fee by the seller.  As long as it is unambiguous, and states the obligations of all involved, it really doesn't matter.  There is also no requirement to escrow through me, as long as the payment method is clear in the signed messages.  And it's best to not include the userid or contact info of either party in the message.  It's not needed, and some people will object to being so identified.

9. LRM has determined that running our own trading platform within the US has legal issues we are not willing to undertake.  There is a trading platform being developed by a third party that LRM has knowledge of which we find may be beneficial to everyone.

Is this third party someone here who wants to own up to the project?

Any details and/or ETA?

LRM : Their is not a better way to cheat your investors out of their investments & gobble-up all the equipment & profits........ period.
Clearly you've never been a BFL customer.  Smiley

On an unrelated note...  I think I mentioned a while back that I'm planning a trip to Washington DC in late May.  And if I haven't I just did.

I'll be within day-tripping distance of Lab_Rat, and there have been requests for photo documentation of the LRM datacentres.  I'm given to understand that two of the three DCs are visitable.  (With the third being in another state, across the country...)  If I post a bunch of pictures from these two DCs, will this satisfy those who are asking?  Or am I too close to LRM, and too potentially biased?

Fair warning:  The trip already booked, and unrelated to Lab_Rat and LRM.  I won't be able to post any images before May 31st.

Edit to add:  With a real camera -- 20 Mpix Canon 70D.  No EXIF location data, though.  Wink

Q2) Given that we have just received the contract, I would really like to digest it for 24 hours as I may come up with follow up questions.  Would you consider scheduling another Q&A session with lawyer present later next week?

Q2: There will be time allotted for all contract holders to decide what they chose to do.  I believe this time will be 60 days from today.

grnbrg.
155  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: April 25, 2014, 06:11:29 PM
While people are digesting that, there are these:

1.) Why haven't you been able to tell us anything?
2.) What law restricted you from telling us?
3.) Why has it taken so long for your lawyer to give you any information if this issue has been known about for 4+ months?
4.) What happen to the ASIC Project? How much was spent, and from what pot of money?
5.) Will you be firing your lawyer once this legal issue is resolved? If not, why?
6.) Which ASIC manufacturers have you spoken to/signed deals with and are moving forward with? What are your plans for future hardware purchases?
7.) What have you been doing with the new hardware you've had for months? When can we expect to receive those dividends?
8.) What's going to happen with the old/new bonds (or shares, or contracts, or whatever they are called now?)
9.) How much work have you put into the trading platform which was your number one priority? How far are you done, and when can we expect it to be finished?
10.)Can you please provide a full list of bitcoin mining address'
11.)What percentage of the 25% is allotted as a management fee? Since it's all the same for LR's pocket, can we replace the management fee with an issuance of "bonds" to LR that equate to the avg fee% instead - say 5-7% of total bonds - this would provide transparency of your FIXED % fee's and give you an increased incentive to produce
12.) Can you please provide photographic evidence of all equipment currently in service for LRM bondholders.
13.) Why has the contract not been provided in a timely manner?

This and,

14. Is there an agreement in place or under negotiation with a State or Federal authority which defines the financial instrument that was originally issued by LRM? If so, what is the legal basis of the financial instrument issued? And, kindly disclose the agreement or a point form summary of the negotiations if an agreement has not been reached
15. Will you voluntarily disclose the financials of LRM and the related companies you have incorporated if there have been any disbursements from LRM to said companies?
16. Would you be prepared to have a private conference call(s) with a group of larger bondholders? Identities would be verified via signed BTC message or RL details if available

Also, as a general note, this place is a shit show for this kind of conversation. LRM requires some method which permits disclosure of confidential information to bond holders. kryptokit provides for secure messaging via bitcoin address - there may be others that provide for this function via a defined group - not sure. In any case, I suggest all communications regarding LRM and its confidential business dealings be removed from this forum and set up somewhere else where the participants are vetted bondholders.

6, 7 and 9 would be of most interest to me...

BFL Josh ‏@BFL_Josh 6m RevB chips are fully functional. Metal layer fix did the trick!

Now since Josh just announced the chips are fully functional we should hear more from LabRat.  I have a feeling he bought only BFL Monarch's even though he is not confirming for some reason.  My guess is he is stalling until they begin shipping so people don't bitch so much.
I'm pretty sure "What hardware has arrived, and what hardware has been ordered?" is on several lists of questions for Friday....  Smiley
