141  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: vDice Malayalam Translation. വിടയിസ് മലയാള പരിഭാഷ on: November 26, 2016, 04:06:36 PM
Those who have invested into vDice, just keep calm and wait. Things should be that bad after all, Vdice have some experienced members on their core team. Mr Jason for example, we was a part of the team that started ETHEREUM !I how good is that?!!?
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: November 26, 2016, 02:17:17 PM
Asset issuance went live on testnet. It is super easy everybody can do it! Waves' core devs have been working on this feature for months now. Seeing the price this step might look insignificant but in reality the implications are huge! There will be many-many people/businesses who will create their assets on the Waves Platform. Asset issuance was until now a privilege of the elite/big business, now everybody will be able to do it. Congrats to the the whole Waves team!

OK, sounds good. But is this not the same as tokens on something like Counterparty? What is the difference - if there is any..

well, fees are much lower than counterparty with 1 waves you can send the asset to 1000 addresses, my question is about if Waves  is going to implement some easy way to pay dividends for tokens

Good know that this are serious and progress is made. Waves token holders and true supporters will be rewarded for their patience. Keep up the good work! and I bet all the investors expect you guys to keep this up!
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX480 (Reference) 31+Mh, Custom Rom on: November 26, 2016, 02:06:55 PM
after some more testing it seems that when the sappgire ref cards get too hot the MH/s drops from around 31.5 or 30 (depends on card) to around 27-22MH/s and keeps on throttelling and jumping all around the place.

since now its winter here in germany, this isnt such a big problem for me, but i plan to take the rig with me to a much hotter country in the summer and im afraid this will be far from ideal setup.

also im currently using some XFX rx 480 8gb RS, where i just copied a memory strap. they seem to run stable at 28mh/s even when the sapphire cards start to throttle. so i believe they will be the right choise for me for the long run. also im about to get one sapphire NITRO+  480 8gb card and try to flash and OC it like some guy on youtube did to get like 30.5 MH/s.

question is, any of you guys are living in hot climate regions or simply run your rig in a hot poorly ventilated place? i would be interested to know what you think about the optimal setup for such places Roll Eyes

GPU cards don't work well  to the max capacity when they are heated up. How about adding some additional fans or something for good air flow. Just make sure there is good space between your cards and also good ventilation for airflow. And yes, it would be awesome if some guys come up with something solid.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 25, 2016, 05:32:21 AM
People can use bitcoin and other alt coins to buy drugs but eventually the law enforcement would catch up with it and bust all the drug users and drug sellers. You can look at the past and see how things have come and go on. So stay away and be safe!
145  Economy / Services / Re: Komodo Signature and Avatar Campaign | Member - Legendary on: November 24, 2016, 08:56:20 AM
Our campaign manager didn't have enough time to finish the spreadsheet today, sorry!

To cheer you up I'll announce some good news!

If you choose to get paid in KMD, then we will give you 25% bonus!

After the ICO we calculated the exchange rate, and it is: 0.00012907 BTC/KMD, or 7747.73 KMD/BTC

With the bonus you can get 9684 KMD/BTC!

P.S. don't send me your addresses in PM (they will go nowhere), also announcing them in this thread will not help. We will give you instructions once we move to that phase (after the spreadsheet is ready)

Sorry for the delays!

Best regards

This one is a good announcement from the OP, imagine guys it's +25% and considering they have a successful ICO there's a great chance the price will pump if you guys will not dump easy. For people who does not really need money the soonest, they will prefer to receive KMD as maybe one way to support the project.

DAMN! I missed this signature campaign. 25% payment in KMD for people who opt for it is really cool. Anyone who is not in a hurry should go for it. I don't think KMD will be dumped, because it has already had a good ICO and dumpers will go for receiving bitcoin than KMD.

So far gambling online with bitcoin hasn't been banned to my knowledge. So I guess it is pretty fine to gamble with bitcoins.
148  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Idea: very-high-hashrate cloud mining for buying BTC on: November 23, 2016, 03:59:55 PM
You'd need to find a pretty reliable guy to source the hashrate, which is pretty hard to find these days with even holders of significant hashrate scamming people that buy into their mining operations. Other than that, it seems pretty nice. Don't miningrigrentals and hashnest already provide a service similar to this? I just don't like people hosting other people's miners in any way, shape or form at all really, but as long as it is made clear that the buyer is taking a risk no matter how trustworthy the seller of hashrate is, I guess it works.

Yes hashnest has been providing something like this. But they don't accept credit or debit cards. Then comes Genesis Mining, what about lifetime bitcoin mining contracts? I know that mining contracts that run for a year aren't worth it as you end up with a loss.

The best thing, would be set up a rig and mine some altcoins such as ether, zcash and exchange them for bitcoin.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the 'purpose' and 'nature' of Bitcoin? Some questions. on: November 23, 2016, 03:54:02 PM
I believe bitcoin helps people to fall back on an alternative way of payment that is free from manipulation. It can save them from inflation eating into their savings. Yes bitcoin burns lots of energy just keep the block chain running and it is a price that someone has to pay for trust and security. Trust comes from believe the idea or concept. It takes time to build and It is a part of human emotion. People trust in US dollar because they believe in the US Government. In the same way people who believe in block chain and the bitcoin algorithm will use bitcoin.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 18, 2016, 05:33:40 AM
Yes! Of course, bitcoin can help poor country if the people are connected to internet and if they have a phone, that is enough for them to transact bitcoin. This can open doors of many unlimited opportunities and can help them to live a better live. Bitcoin can also help them to come out of poverty.

As long as you don't mind loosing them, you can use them gamble. But before gambling read and understand the rules and others terms and conditions set in the respective sites to have a better understanding and to ensure that they accept your small amount. and what exactly is your "small amount"?
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] vDice Ethereum Blockchain Gambling || Crowdsale on: November 15, 2016, 10:00:10 AM

Please explain the following statment that appears in the OP:

"There will be an an “early-bird” special. The Smart Contract exists with an initial token supply of 60M tokens. That is, 60M tokens will be available and distributed before the dates, through Crowdsale partners, open to any and all who wish to participate through those partners"

Was there an early sale prior to the ICO started today??

That is an old iteration of our documentation it seems.

That is not applicable.

Shouldn't you be changing or updating it?
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v4.0 on: November 11, 2016, 08:39:07 AM
This might sound really stupid but, is it possible to mine on a 32 bit windows 7 note book ? Is there a CPU miner for it? I ready to burn my notebook Wink

I had around 30 of these back in the day SIGH and now I have 0, I think I should buy a few Moneros yes? I am gutted I didn't keep them at the time but needs at the time dictated. Such a lovely coin it is.  Smiley

I think I can understand you feelings. My opinion is that you can add XMR when it is done and hold for long term. I expect XMR to make some serious gains in future. And also why not start mining some XMR ?
158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to invist / store my Bitcoins? on: November 07, 2016, 03:57:26 AM
The best option is to hold on to your bitcoin as it is and let it increase in its value in the coming years. In the mean time, you can study about various projects and other altcoins and then invest some of your bitcoin into them. I have invested some of my bitcoins into Singular DTV and Iconomi. These two projects are in their early stages, but I believe in them.

I will not suggest you to trade and gamble with your bitcoins as chances are more for you to loose them all.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening to bitcoin ? on: November 06, 2016, 03:33:40 PM
Before Cloud mining sites last long but now they are quickly turn into scam. This began After Halving how sad.
Is there no legimate investment site this days ?  Undecided  Undecided

If you are interested in mining, I recommend you to do a deep research into mining and try to assemble a mining rig of your own. There are tons of materials relating to setting up and running rigs all over the internet.

I have tried genesis and hash flare and haven't made profits or got my initial investments after waiting for 6 months. I tried hashnest and was able to sell my hashing power and make some profit. Do your due diligence before investing into any new cloud mining sites!
160  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: DECENT Malayalam Translation. മലയാള പരിഭാഷ. ICO ആരംഭിച്ചു. on: November 05, 2016, 11:54:32 AM
last 3 days for decent ico to get over and it is really interesting to see them building partnership and working with many businesses. This is beneficial to them. I look forward to see the ICO ending with more than 5 million US dollar worth bitcoin. People who haven't invested yet should go through the whitepaper and the interviews and get invested now.

Based on the funds inflow, looks like decent ICO is going to end with less than 5 million dollars worth BTC. Its a good amount though!
