I don't know if Cavaliers can manage to prepare for Playoffs on right way. Currently, they don't look like a team that can compete for NBA Finals. It will be interesting to watch them in the last matches of the regular season.

Raptors are legitimate.

Tonight I like Portland and cavs

Clippers haven't beaten anyone good on their streak
That's really an impressive win for the Raptors and as Drake predicted the streak ended to his favorite team. I would like to see how the Raptors fare during the play offs, Because at the moment they are the best team in the Eastern Conference.
Raptors are really on fire! They are indeed looking pretty good this season. Maybe, this could finally be their season.

I think the game between Toronto and the Houston rockets should be a tournament of this end of season , a rockets win should consider them a bigger threat to the golden state warriors for the western conference finals . Most predictions goes to Houston rockets losing this game but I still believe that they will continue their invincibility record for so long , they want to show that they deserve to be leader of the conference and present them self as a pretender for the NBA title . My prediction is that they will win but it will be a very close game .

This is really a interesting match to watch. Could be the preview of the finals. Lol. If I'm not mistaken they already face each other last December and Toronto beat Houston that time, however, CP3 was absent in the lineup.

I don't know but If I'm going to bet, I'm liking the chance of Toronto to beat the Rockets again. But they have to play consistently in both court (offense and defense). The key here is to stop Houston's three's and play solid defense.

"Houston, we have a problem".  Grin Grin Grin
True, that is very interesting match. It's match between teams with best form currently. It's really hard to predict winner there, but I would give slight role of favourite to Houston. Probably, it will be Harden- De Rozan scoring match up Cheesy

-While in Eastern Conference almost everything is decided:
1)Toronto 2)Boston 3)Cleveland with Washington, Philadelphia, Indiana, Miami and Milwaukee practically already qualified for Playoffs

-In Western Conference instead there is great competition:
Houston and Golden State are fighting for the first place, and then there are 6 teams fighting for the last 4 places useful for the Playoffs: San Antonio,Oklahoma,Utah Jazz,Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota,Denver.
For me it will come in first position Golden State, and will qualify for the Playoffs: San Antonio,Utah Jazz,Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma

Yeah, true. It is only 5 wins between 4th Trail Blaizers and 10th Nuggets. I think Nuggets will end up out of playoff this year. And maybe Timberwolves, since they might be having problems with Butler's absence. Although,  I saw Spurs will have hard schedule till the end, but I think they will be able to shake it off with their experience. It would be very interesting to watch the rest of this season, and I am looking forward to it!

While on the East situation looks clear. For me, the most interesting team there is Philadelphia 76ers.  They look pretty good this year and they signed experienced players such as Belinelli and Ilyasova  who had had his best time exactly in this team recently.

It would be very interesting to watch the rest of this season, and I am looking forward to it!

I think we can consider this season over, at least battle for the first place. It is clearly that City will win this one. But it will be interesting to find out which teams will end in Top4, and which teams will end up last and get relegated into Championship. Personally, I would like Newcastle would the one of them, just because of Benitez who was enough dumb let go class player like Mitrović into Championiship. He scored 5 goals in just 5 matches for Fulham. Also, Shefield Wednesday's manager criticized Benitez for that action, saying that it's pity for elite player such as Mitrović to play in Championship.

I just viewed the current West Standings and that is when I know the Minnesota Timberwolves are in a tight position as 10 teams will be battling for the 3rd - 8th spot in the Playoffs. Making the path of the Timberwolves harder is Jimmy Butler's return won't be until the playoff rounds which is doubtful as of the moment. Currently they are sitting on the 6th seed and their next game would be on Friday against the Boston Celtics I am hoping that they will have a firm grip on any of the west playoff spots as I really need to see them end the playoff drought.
I can say that the Minnesota Timberwolves can easily secure a spot at the western conference but if Jimmy Butler won't return until the playoffs begin, i doubt if they will survive the first round.

Is Jimmy's injury that worst? I read that it needed a just a month to heal so I guess they still can buy more time and hope that they can make the playoff (which I do think they will).

However, I think that they will survived the first round. They have invested so much and the team will really exert all effort to get past the first round and then wait till Jimmy returns to the lineup.
Is there any info when Jimmy Butler will be back? It would be pity if he missed playoff now when Minesota started to look pretty good. Tomorrow they have interesting match against the Celtics. Too bad Butler will not play there, it would be hard to predict winner if he was. In this situation I would give mild role of favourite to Boston.

Good matches are on programme today.
I would try with Boston, Indiana and Oklahoma tonight.
And the odds are quite good.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 08, 2018, 10:39:22 PM
Tonight, I would try with Louis Williams over 24.5 points. Practically whole first team of Clippers is missing, so he shouldn't have bigger problems to cross this border. Actually, I predict him scores 35+ points easily.

Damn, I hope Real Madrid will start winning games, if it doesn't, then second place is doubtful too.

Golden State Warriors will make it to the NBA Finals easily Wink
Better quesiton is Will OKC even arrive to Western Semi Finals to fight with Warriors? Wink
Most of us here are saying that Golden State Warriors will lead and is the one that will be back at the finals. I want to see OKC too as they are a very stable team and I like on how they manage to as one of the good team and to be real, I'm a fan of Russell Westbrook and we can't stop people that are admiring him.
Can't argue with that. For OKC it's hard to say if they'll make it to the semis because there are two teams that they could face in the playoffs either Spurs or Twolves and both teams can take them out. Also the season is not yet over there still a chance that they could to the 8th seed  since the losses of the teams behind them are so close.

My pick of the day is Knicks +5. I still think Dallas could win but it's not by more than 5 pts if we look at their home matches few days ago they either lose or win less than 5.
That's good bet. Dallas is not much better team, if it is better at all, and I think New York Knicks will be close in that one. New York's play will greatly depend on Porzingis and his recovery from an injury.

Golden State is really superior to the other teams! Golden State has won many matches without Curry and has now won without Durant against Houston. I would not be surprised if Golden State at the playoffs will win all 4-0 rounds! currently there is no team that can beat it

Will they win a match against the Houston Rockets, if both Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are not playing? Apart from these two, they don't have any legends in their team. Players such as Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Andre Iguodala are really talented. But you can't say that they are at the same level as Durant and Curry.

Don't underestimate the bench players of Golden State Warriors even though Steph and Kevin are the popular and their scoring machines still they won't choose bench or reserved players that are not worth to get their slot.

Yeah! Golden State Warrior players are good specially their bench player. But still in my own opinion and prediction GSW will not make Western Conference Finals this 2017-18 NBA season because they will lost in Semi Finals between the OKC.
How about you guys what your prediction in 2017-18 NBA Season?

start the season in the best possible way for Rublev (20 years old)!
he is in the final against Kevin Anderson in Doha.
For him it is already best ranking (32th) even losing! If he wins it is 29th.
Considering that many top players are injured or in bad shape, Rublev can easily enter in the top 10 this year.

No no, you are mistaken. Rublev was in final against Monfils in Doha. And he lost.
Anderson was in final of Pune against Simon. And he lost as well Cheesy
I've watched them both play mid last year and they were both playing good at that time.
How times have changed if they are losing now.
Are anybody a sure win now a days?
For bigger tournaments such as the Australian Open starting the next couple of weeks then we can start expecting those players to begin to step up their game.
Atleast I am hoping they will by that time it matters most.
They just don't take this tournaments too serious. They just wanna practise for bigger event such as Australian open.

I also get this impression quite often. The tournaments before a grand slam, many players see it as a practise to get match ritm but don't play 100%. You can also see this phenomenon in many other sports (such as snooker).
Exactly. That's why you shouldn't bet in large money on smaller tournaments. I prefer betting only on Grand slams and sometimes on Masters.

Tonight, I will try with Towns under 19.5 points.
Towns won't have much space in basket considering Cousins and Davis, and also he doesn't seem to be in good shape, so this could be quite good bet.

What is happening with Porzingis? He scored only 13 points against SAS, 16 against Wizards and 15 against Heat. That is pretty low considering his previous MVP games. Maybe it's nothing, maybe he just set scale too high.

Andy Murray will most likely not participate in the Australian Open.
It seems an operation is necessary for him.
He said he was very worried about his physical condition and that his career was at risk.

Yeah its a shame for Murray and also for the other top players that might be missing from this years Australian Open. Even Nick Kyrgios Australia's best Men's chance went down with an injury scare yesterday but he was able to play on and win his match. Federer will be hard to beat once again but hopefully one of the upcoming talents can make have a good tournament and maybe even challenge Federer.

Now it's official! both Nishikori and Murray will not participate in the Australian Open.
Both today declared their absence in the first Slam tournament of the season.
Unfortunately I expect other important absences.

I hope same won't happen with Đoković...  Sad
He is expected to be back on Kuyong Classic exhibition at 10 of January.
Let's see what happens.
