What is wrong with this address?

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ric/extraction.dws?1178374.htm

Explorer still shows over 8M RIC on Poloniex. What will happen with that amount?

There is nothing wrong with RLGz address, that's a miner.

I think these are coins that were abandoned from disabled Poloniex users who did not complete KYC before the deadline. IMHO they are as good as burnt coins. Some people speculate Circle/Goldman sachs could dump them in the future all at once, but that would be illegal so it's very unlikely.

That is crazy, I always thought these random bit moves on exchanges and regulators is just another scheme to steal some shekels out of people.

143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAP] Gapcoin - Prime Gap Search - New Math Algo - CPU / GPU - Zero Premine on: August 04, 2019, 09:56:23 PM
For example a modest M.2 Raid will boost CPU Hashrate boosting about 5-15% at times.  Whereas a Good GPU will boost the CPU hashrate about 5-10% at times, however your won't get extra wins with a better GPU.  SSD M.2 raid will get you increase Block wins and will boost the entire network as well to avoid future Blockchain bottlenecks.  Much more important in this stage of the blockchain as opposed to focusing on get Pools and GPU mining!

GPU mining would likely ruin the Scientific aspects of this coin for small researches who want to run different more complex schemes which would not be possible if they had to compete with the modern Herd of GPU miners working a low Shift to control the hash-rate.

But if Jonn9 had finished the GPU miner it might be different.  No one has stepped up to fill his shoes.  So it is the OPEN SEAS WEAVING PATTERN.

Trisquel, CPU, M.2 Raid.  I can probably patch Trisquel together for the forseable future but large gaps will need filled with more labor as new Trisquel releases in future years.

The Raid M.2 is key for 32 bit system as per my previous posts about the difference of 64 bit and 32 bit.  Watch the Youtube Module to understand why this is.

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAP] Gapcoin - Prime Gap Search - New Math Algo - CPU / GPU - Zero Premine on: August 04, 2019, 09:50:20 PM
Minerja,

Linux if not even vauge you should ask questions and do some searches first.

The Desktop layout is similar to Windows OS.  Linux main features is a built in easy to use Command Line System.

Left Bottom Trisquel Symbol (Same as Windows OS)  Click and go to System and click to open Control Center or Right Click over Control Center and choose add to panel or add to desktop

Organizing the panels is another training module.

Find Display tabs within Control Center and try to manually change the resolution size.

2)  Both AMD and Nvidia Cards work on the lowest settings without installing the graphics cards Drivers, so mining Gapcoin does not require the graphics cards Drivers installed.  However it will boost hashrate a small amount with the Drivers Installed.

3)  Ask questions, but try to learn on your own first.

4)  I know Trisquel works, so you saying My Trisquel does not work is not true.  Your Trisquel does not work becuase you did not try to cultivate the Trisquel Crystal that was given to your hands.

5)  The most serious issue you will ever encounter is the installation of some M.2 drive and Motherboard/CPU combinations seem to not recognize the GRUB bootloader on install for unknown reasons at this time.  But to get around this it is required to M.2 drive hop until you get a computer Motherboard/CPU combo that will install the GRUB bootloader and than use it as your installation drive for all Trisquel M.2 OS.  Once Trisquel is installed the M.2 drive can be moved to the intended computer with no issues.  The easy way to recognize this issue is if the drive tries to format EXT4 on the drive setup.  If you have a M.2 drive it will fail to install the GRUB bootloader on install causing install fail.  But if the M.2 drive install shows XFS it is good to go and you can install the GRUB boot loader on Trisquel using M.2 drive.

6)  Since the Algo is 32bit bottlenecked the biggest performance will come from M.2 Raid instead of focusing your resources building a computer with High end Graphics card it is much wiser building a M.2 Raid into it.  However this requires AMD CPU/Motherboard as Intel requires a Raid key which is not good, but Intel you can just use 1 M.2 drive.

Once Gapcoin transitions to a 64 bit Sha512 it will be the other way around where a good GPU and Memory will be the key factor instead of a M.2 Raid.

Hi Minerja,

Since Cryptopia.co.nz going down there is not a real exchange to trade for profit.  I suggested an exchange and applied however, due to lack of developer and discord channel it likely failed.  It might change in the future.

I think you should have followed my advice, I am sorry you got lost.

I have a 8 core 1700 and get way more than 3-4 blocks.  I told you excactly how to optimize the wallet miner with detailed instructions on the github.com/gapcoin/gapcoin issues tab

Trisquel OS is required.

On a different note, Iran accuses Israeli Mossad of poisoning/murdering IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano.

On July 18, he died at age-72 after heading the organization since 2009, no cause of death explained.

Since Security Council Resolution 2231 adopted the JCPOA, the IAEA affirmed Iran’s full compliance with its provisions 15 consecutive times.

Last October, in response to Israel’s Netanyahu falsely claiming Iran, seeks nuclear weapons, citing a (nonexistent) “secret atomic warehouse” in his UN General Assembly address, Amano refuted the accusation, saying:

“The agency sends inspectors to sites and locations only when needed. The agency uses all safeguards relevant to information available to it but it does not take (so-called intelligence) at face value.”

I get it Trump sent Nikki Haley to IAEA to force them to join the team against Iran after Trump pulled out of JCPOA.  She failed to convince the honorable gentleman from Japan to surrender.

I understand the Bitcoin Cabal would always like to keep their Monopoly going through whatever means, just as the US Federal Reserve has had the sole right to organize the world's capital under the SWIFT system.

Bitcoin is terribly weak for encryption standards.  Gapcoin to break through is REQUIRED to move to SHA512 and 64 bit number generator.

Hopefully you can stick around until than.  It is really an easy fix but going through all the code is tedious changing all the Uint32 to Uint64 base pairs and sha256 to sha512, but it is simple.

If you happen to have a Intel 6000' series chip disabling hyper threading might be detrimental to performance.  However Anything newer Intel 7000 series on or AMD Ryzen on disabling Hyper-Threading is desired.

LIfe is about hacking, with Linux you can build and set up 5-50 computers however you can maintain without spending $150 dollars extra for each computer just to buy Windows OS.  Windows is not any different than Linux it requires just as many hacks to secure it.

Money spent 1 time to buy KILL DISK will work on all your computers for 1 price.  Windows OS requires $150, $150, $150, $150, $150, $150, $150, $150, $150!  Kill Disk is how you erase M.2 drives and the small amount of SSD drives that Dariks Boot and Nuke does not recognize.

Once you learn Debian/Ubuntu/Trisquel hacks it is easy.

Every Command line you can use on Debian or Ubuntu WORKS on Trisquel.

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAP] Gapcoin - Prime Gap Search - New Math Algo - CPU / GPU - Zero Premine on: February 24, 2019, 03:15:08 AM
Hi Minerja,

It is just the fact of Life many people have disabilities and Trisquel makes it default to help such users.

So I assume your not disabled thats good, so use SYNAPTIC as the primary upgrade and uninstall software.

Search for and UNINSTALL Orca

That will get rid of the talking Voice plus it uses a lot of RAM.
And you might want to go into Click Trisquel Icon, System, Preferences, Personal and Click Startup Applications disable Backup Monitor and disable Update Notifier.

It is not possible to get AMD drivers through Trisquel, but Nvidia repository is

Command Line

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa

Than double check your required package through Nvidia website and install it through SYNAPTIC after you update it with the new repository.

Then Reboot your computer.

Honestly though it is an endless amount of hacks really.  I am trying to make it as simple as possible.

If you want to compile Gapcoin up to date you NEED to use Trisquel.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAP] Gapcoin - Prime Gap Search - New Math Algo - CPU / GPU - Zero Premine on: February 21, 2019, 09:04:46 PM
Minerja,

Check the issues tab on Github.......

Hopefully you can get it working, however I suspect without a couple of developers or so it won't happen.  It is mostly boost errors so it won't be a problem for a dev to clone and fix simple really most of it is trivial to fix even the SSL to 1.1, but Trisquel is the best operating system for mining anyway so no need to move forward yet.  Trisquel works due to still using boost 1.58 which is key as well as using SSL-Dev 1.0.2 which is supported up to 2020 but it is possible GNU-Linux might still maintain SSL 1.0.2 instead of switching.  (I don't know)

However for now, TRISQUEL.INFO operating system is the current up to date DEFAULT Linux miner for Gapcoin.  DEFAULT BY DESIGN INSTEAD OF DEFECTIVE BY DESIGN.

Defective by Design is a GNU side project to patch holes in the Defective By Design mentality of Linux Operating systems.

Trisquel furthermore is far superior to Ubuntu in many ways which I posted previously on this forum

HTTPS default for operating system updates ect........

Use my signature links for compilation.  Everything is there.

RUN FREE IS THE TRISQUEL MOTTO, TRISQUEL IS DEFAULT BY DESIGN
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAP] Gapcoin - Prime Gap Search - New Math Algo - CPU / GPU - Zero Premine on: February 19, 2019, 05:53:15 PM
BitcoinFX, your miners do pretty good.

This being a 32bit coin and small block sizes does favor your method more for getting blocks into the chain.

I see you are getting nice 19,000-20,000 length primes.  With generally higher merits than the base.

However I don't see any future for 32 bit projects not even bitcoin itself.  But I imagine their will be a Bitcoin Split that will adapt to newer encryption so holding bitcoin might not be bad.  Even though it is obvious to me that a simple fix for Gapcoin would be apparently most programmers got the automated project generators mastered.  So no need for real programmers.  As Project generators generate the most profit for their handlers for the least amount of work and translate back into bitcoin mafia home base coin.

If your ISP is Port Blocking/Throttling you could change your DNS servers it might fix your problem also.

https://public-dns.info//

Open Command Prompt

ping test your DNS server to see if it works

than change your computer DomainNameResolutionSystem from your ISP to a more general random DNS.

Command

ping (DNS ip address)

Close Command Prompt to stop

151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAP] Gapcoin - Prime Gap Search - New Math Algo - CPU / GPU - Zero Premine on: January 30, 2019, 06:52:43 PM
Just forget about all that BitcoinFX is saying.

Probably because you are not compiling your wallet.  If anyone is using the default wallets built 3 years ago it is not going to perform very well against all the automated hooks attached to the internet.  Could be ISP blocking and also the fact that Sha256 is very weak encryption currently, Gapcoin needs to move to Sha512.  But if it's ISP blocking using Tor should fix the problem of them port throttling Gapcoin.  But they can just throttle Tor Traffic but still better Gap Blocks per day will achieved.  As efficiency of ISP (Internet Service Provider NSA box) direct port throttling is very high, and their Tor Throttling efficiency is not as effective which translates into more Gap blocks mined per day.

I would dump more memory into it.

The stated numbers are more like guidelines, usually half of whatever is stated so you should be getting 8-20 blocks a day probably.  Not all the hash rate power is listed.  For instance Tor Miners Hash rate is not calculated.

 https://github.com/gapcoin/gapcoin/issues/5

Your Miner will save a lot of power consumption by disabling hyper-threading!  The numbers mining will stay the same.

Play with the memory usage changing the MiningSieveSize MiningPrimes controls the Memory usage, and the Shift controls the CPU higher shift will produce a lower Gaps per day but that is just guidelines.  The SieveSize for Memory will not go above 2 billion and Mining Primes will be higher once Hyper-Threading is disabled.

For 16 Core Threadripper with 32 GB Memory, I would recommend just adding a couple numbers BEFORE you compile the miner to the default MiningSieveSize = 1333554432 MiningPrimes = 40900000 Shift 36 or 45 or 72

But it is only possible to compile using Trisquel OS currently.

In which case you can manually every time to mine if you still demand to use the default old dinky wallet!

Setgenerate true 14 1333554432 40900000 45

But you will still need to disable Hyper-Threading for Thermal control and not freezing your computer from using all the memory.
Total Memory System usage of around 40-55% is ideal.  Above that is slop system when maintaining it.

So after you get Deriks boot and nuke or if you have an M.2 SSD buy Kill Disk eraser.  Install Trisquel OS verify the signature

If you do that the in wallet start miner command would be

setgenerate true 14

Since you hard-coded your wallet miner before compiling!

And if you get a big enough 7nm CPU you might even try changing the shift before compile from 1024 to 2007 or 1360

You can still use your computer everyday also.  Might effect a couple Gaps a day however.  But not much.

8 Core CPU with Hyper-Threading disabled on Boot hit delete key and search around for hyperthreading to disable it in the motherboard bios.  Every motherboard is different.

For 8 core CPU with 16 GB Memory I would

Setgenerate true 8 1333554432 40900000 45

And if you compile it from source using Trisquel OS in wallet miner command is

setgenerate true

(Since using 1 less core is only efficient on higher level core CPU's which you have correctly done, anything less than 16 cores should be run full cores using setgenerate true)

IF you have a 4 Core CPU or 6 Core CPU, with 16GB Memory I would move the sievePrimes to 50900000

sievePrimes is the main control sieveSize is the secondary control of Memory usage.

I suppose Cloud mining requires only Ubuntu or similar to set up on their systems.  It is a problem I guess.

I notice Ubuntu rarely updates its SSL packages as do most all operating systems linux.

For some unknown reason most all linux distros like to leave wide open the most critical part of a computer the SSL communication layer.

Debian Testing is some what better, but cloud servers probably only offer debian stable?  But it can fall behind as well.

It took me a while to figure out Trisquel OS SSL apparently they are up to date with SSL and are one of the few distros to offer out of the box HTTPS to update the operating system once installed and later updates.  Most all Linux distros seem to like to leave that door open as well making users update their OS using HTTP.

But Trisquel OS adds a digit at the end to 1.0.2 g -(1,2,3,4,5,6 ect),  Instead of playing the Letter changing game, Trisquel just keeps the letter the same but adds a digit at the end to specify which version change it is.

https://climbers.net/sbc/nanopi-fire3-arm-supercomputer/

I don't know when I can look into Ubuntu 18.04, I went through pretty much every https://distrowatch.com/ to arrive at Trisqeul OS.

All the fixes should be simple going to boost 1.62, but the SSL to 2021 might become an issue going from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 SSL.

I have no doubt all the cloud miners are running backdoor software hacks, as are most all computers.  It is a big fight, but unfortunately Cloud Servers ensure it to be a win for the backdoor hackers instead of a win for Free Software.  Even Trisquel OS I have to fight bugs all the time, but I have managed to press everything out.  It is a great tool to work with.

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAP] Gapcoin - Prime Gap Search - New Math Algo - CPU / GPU - Zero Premine on: January 14, 2019, 07:16:52 AM
The best exchange to hook up with ATM is https://trade.mct.plus/ they will have a central exchange later this year.  If someone more diplomatic than myself would try to get Gapcoin listed there I would appreciate it.

It appears I was mistaken thinking Gapcoin would need a hard fork.  Based on the assumption when I tried GJHiggins repository.

Apparently Higgins never built upwards by cloning Gapcoin, but was trying to work backwords using a fork of Bitcoin and changing certain terms, not really sure what he was doing.

I encourage someone capable to Clone Gapcoin and take the lead of writing fixes.

Currently there are no needs for fixes if using TRISQUEL OS https://trisquel.info/

git clone https://github.com/SwissKnife1000/gapcoin

I have looked over the codebase some.  All the Arrays and Vectors will need to be changed to Uint64 from Unint32.  I have some preliminary work, and hopefully with some extra help we can get a Gapcoin Sha512 64 Bit Prime Gap generator working.

Everything has to start somewhere and we should be thankful for Jonn9 and his work.  This world is consumed by evil.  I think the awesome power Russia is displaying to the beast power with interest.  Maybe the beast wants to play FTSE under the sea?  Or some fencing with Avant-Guard
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: December 27, 2018, 07:59:09 AM
I would assume it would require changing the Prime pipeline 2^512 along with Sha512 hashing as well as Sha512 Private key.

Remember, Gavin C.I.A.ndressen doesn't have a need to change bitcoin from sha256 they can't agree on anything other than cosmetic changes at this point.

Bitcoin uses Asic miners not 64 bit processors?  Why not write the software to fit the hardware? and likely future hardware?  AMD 128 Core Processors and 128 GB DDR5/6 RAM

Bitcoin should have never been written in sha256 other than as a selling to point for Gavin C.I.A.ndressen to his Comrades in C.hI.nA.

Quantum Computers are already here I don't want to bother your domain of coding and focus.  But real work needs done without politics.  Bitcoin is purely Political Invention.  Wikileaks/Silk Road/FBI Honey Pots.

I already know this is a touchy subject because it pokes holes in too many conspiracies at once.

155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GAP] Gapcoin - Prime Gap Search - New Math Algo - CPU / GPU - Zero Premine on: December 27, 2018, 07:42:18 AM
The Miner is built into the Wallet

Setgenerate true or Setgenerate true (#cores/threads)

The in wallet miner can be customized using the command in wallet

setgenerate true (number of cores/threads) SieveSize MiningPrimes MiningShift

Example

Setgenerate true 8 533554432 21900000 45

It can be customized without the need for a separate miner.  Don't waste your time on coding a miner.

Src/miner.cpp

to hardcode scroll down to where the parameters are found sieve shift ect......than compile the miner

The Sieve Size and Mining Primes change the amount of Memory used in the computer.

If you wanted to float your supercomputer onto the blockchain without disrupting it you would set it to mine Shit 1024 (Pow.h) the highest possible Shift set by Jonn9, but should be moved a lot higher eventually.

The original miner and or any other "Customized Miner" is just a glorified black magic of small manipulations at low levels.

156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: December 26, 2018, 05:25:00 AM
For Sha512 I posted this issue here........

https://github.com/gapcoin/gapcoin/issues/14

Summary............

Different hardware favors different functions. SHA-512 is generally faster on 64-bit processors, SHA-256 faster on 32-bit processors. (Try the command line command!

openssl speed sha256 sha512

SHA-512 also has over SHA-256 collision resistance, a term that in cryptography has a very narrow meaning. SHA-256 claims 128-bit collision resistance, SHA-512 claims 256-bit. If or when a practical quantum computer is built, we will need the 256-bit collision resistance.

CLO1,

Works great so far, it compiled.

Seems hard to find peers automatically

Is Riecoin still strong connections?

Wished I could have helped out Riecoin earlier but I did not like the structure of Riecoin long ago due to small pool size and no network, the blockchain shows it's signs.  Gapcoin is by far more distributed due to BitcoinFX and my own to decentralize it.  A couple groups/individuals have tried multiple attempts to break Gapcoin so I know if vigilance is not kept it will be lost for good the initiative on the side of the malicious actors.

But I am onboard now If I can find some coin and power to throw at Riecoin...It keeps getting 1 connection than losing it so not sure how long I can ride this rodeo.......

Gapcoin has the Network and Riecoin has the Software Devs.......it is much easier for your team to come over here than for us to go over to you as the Riecoin Network is severely limited even though it produces good Math.  The Network is choking your growth and it is not your fault it is the malicious actors intent.  Just as their intent is to choke Gapcoin Development by handicapping the software development.

It seems we have a little choke point hopefully your team can make the right choice as you can't save two sinking ships at once.

I can donate to each Dev in Gapcoins whatever they deem fair.

I have burned over 1.1 million Gapcoins and randomly burn them all the time...........maybe when I get to burning 6 million I will strike gold?Huh

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: December 23, 2018, 11:56:06 PM
I am genuinely impressed here, to be honest though your group seems to be the engine for the 3 Math coin projects.  Primecoin tried pump and dump developers months back, and Gapcoin is good which I have learned to hack it together using Trisquel OS, it will break down soonish.

I am glad and did not expect to get such a favorable reply from your group.

I am trying to spearhead the Sha512 working group for Gapcoin, if you guys want to port that to Riecoin that should gain the same benefits as well as Primecoin.

We could Follow up Bitcoin to 0.17 Core except change the Algo from 32 bit Sha256 to 64 bit Sha512 for automatic speed up of the miners.  Which if I was a programmer that is exactly what I would look to change to leverage my work.  I am however just a normal person who has to rely on personal development and others to keep moving forward.

Jonn9 is the only one with Write Access to Gapcoin as far as I know, so I don't want anyone to waste time except through the understanding a hard fork will likely be required.  Which is why I want to propose the hardfork is simultaneous as the Sha512 upgrade.

Ok, so I tried compiling Riecoin 16.3 I got a couple errors.  Maybe it is because I am using Boost 1.58 from Trisquel OS?

I will just post them here.............

Hey BitcoinFX,

Graviex looks broken but maybe someone might find them useful if you can work a listing there somehow........but the website is always broken using Linux?  Maybe it requires Google Chrome to work?

https://trade.mct.plus Exchange actually works (Impressed) It was so easy to sign up and the website actually works using Linux.

Hi ph4ntom,

It's ok about dev, I personally don't see any advantage following up to Bitcoin Core levels.

There is nothing fundamentally wrong with Gapcoin protocol currently except that people are required to use Trisquel OS.

If we can set development kitty.  Like

.5-2 Bitcoin to code Gapcoin to Sha512

.5-2 Bitcoin to code Gapcoin Private Key 571 bits or Sha512 Private key to mirror to Bitcoin.

.25 Bitcoin to maintain up to code based on Trisquel OS and Debian Testing OS.

I think the bigger problem is that I don't think anything can go forward without Jonn9 as the only way to write new code is through a hard fork.

BUT that is exactly what we need to do anyway.  We have a strong core now, and a simple transition to Sha512 will automatically make our network hash rate DOUBLE!

For those not familiar why building a 32 bit Math Generator is worthless compared to building a 64 bit Math Generator
