Come on people you are missing the point. Tell me some success stories of investments where people made a ton of money and the idea was already set in motion? AFTER THE FACT!  You people now missed the boat and the REAL money is long gone. Give me an example of an investment that proves my point wrong. I am not denying the fact that there is money to be made yet. All I am saying is that very rarely are you going to get rich on something that has already happened.

Bought SIRI at $1.85 on 06/07/2012 still riding to todays high of $4.12, plan on selling at ~5ish, didnt have the balls to buy at $.09
Bought FB at $26 have a sell order in at $55, which was almost triggered today, hit a high of $54.76

I would say those are some pretty healthy returns.

Can you post it to YouTube? The site is still experiencing issues.

Edit: for those that wish to watch the video.

Maybe knight was part of this scam?

I doubt that.
I dealt with him behind the scenes on my TH order (because Amir was ignoring me)... if he was part of it wouldn't have taken him a few trips there to fix my issue at the time.

You will notice knight never has taken any trips to see about refunds.   Also did anyone else see him log in to chip order?  I can't remember anyone else besides him verifying a log in to see orders.

I remember seeing a couple of posts that mentioned people other than knight made it over to the office, might be worth a shot to try and locate those people.

Does anyone think TH still has or ever had the parts to build the K16's?
If so what do you think they did or will do with all the parts?

I would bet that just like they outright lied about purchasing the chips, the also fibbed about everything else.

Update:
You can use a visa debit card to validate yourself to level 3 and obtain instant purchases again.

Been using them for 6+ months. I was fully verified until they changed policy a few weeks back.

Overall I really like what they are doing and will continue to be a loyal customer for the foreseeable future.

FYI,
They only take visa credit cards for verification.

Any news to share with us?
Have Yifu refunded chip batches?
Are we waiting for something?
Have you reused/planning to reuse our parts in your mining enterprise?
Can you describe what is the purpose of the stash tracked (below) by fire5?
Do you have timeline of how and when refunds will be handled?

Thx.

Currently the mentioned amount of BTC3,471.86046069 in TH stash divided by 40.000 chips ordered equals to BTC0.086775 per chip.
Which should be available at hand for immediate refunds.

Which is BTC1.3884 per K16. Or $208.26 now.
Which is BTC5.5536 per K64. Or $833.04 now.

(Assuming current btc price ~$150).
And still there is a lot of parts for reuse or sell.

Why is TH not taking action and taking advantage of current exchange price?

I am pretty certain that it was proven that TH never purchased the 2-3 other 10,000 chips.

Eve is this you?

1) The unregulated trading of BTC against Fiat Currencies
2) The BTC Price Increase vs. The actual volume  (MARKET DEPTH)
3) Mining Equipment all being sold on Pre-Order to Limited Liability Corporations
4) The Difficulty Level vs. The Parabolic BTC Price
5) The fact that bitcombubble.com/org/net have already been registered!

Anyone else can add to this list?

157  Other / Politics & Society / More Than 44,000 Demand GOP Arrests For "Seditious Conspiracy" Against USA on: October 20, 2013, 07:53:21 PM
Quote
More than 44,000 people have signed a petition on the MoveOn.org sebsite calling for the Departmnet of Justice to arrest some House Republican leaders for their roles in the givernment shutdown and debt-ceiling debacle. As The Hill reports, the petition singles out Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and House majority leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), as well as "other decision-making House Republican leaders," for the crime of "seditious conspiracy against the United States of America." While careful to point out that it does not "necessarily endorse the contents of petitions" we thought it ironic that more people successfully completed the petition to arrest the GOP for trying to abolish Obamacare than have successfully signed up for the new law.

The GOP and the Tea Party needs to be held accountable for their actions, sign your name today!

158  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] - ADDICTION - KNCMiner - Now hashing at 14+TH! on: October 20, 2013, 07:09:37 PM
Gotta love this!

Hey guys, this post is the promised and long awaited update... Sorry we didn't give an exact date (except for "in the weekend") but as you'll read through the post below you'll hopefully understand why.

Anyways, as you can read below it's been nothing short of hell making all these calculations. We can tell you now we've learned a few things over the past few days. We've been busy almost non-stop since the first miner arrived almost 2,5 weeks ago. While we still feel we've made the right choices in how to handle the groupbuys so far we've also seen that running a groupbuy that almost takes 4,5 months to its conclusion (or start) has a few side effects.

This post is quite long due to the many details that need to be taken care of. Reason we waited for so long for this post is that we needed to mine enough btc to be able to correct all the open ends so we can issue all remaining shares and treat everybody equal again.

It all ended up a thousand times more complicated than we at first imagined, mostly due to the fact that we didn't get all the miners in 1 batch as we were expecting. As you know we planned to pickup all the miners in one go to save on shipping costs and ensure we would be the first to mine. Since we received the miners in 3 batches it made it a lot harder to divide the income and make the necessary corrections. To make it worse we made an exception only in GB2 where we deviated from the group principle and said that shares would start paying in order of arrival. More on that later.

First of all the BTC/USD correction. As you know we didn't change the share price during the different GB's because we felt is was only fair to treat the whole group as one in that aspect. The differences on the GB's were (in terms of original Share Price) (you can verify these amounts by looking at the blockchain since all miners were payed from the respective GB addresses):

GB1:
Original share price: 0.5
BTC Correction: 0.03015
Real price per share: 0.53015

GB2:
Original share price: 0.30
BTC Correction: 0.02128
Real price per share: 0.32128

GB3:
Original share price: 0.35
BTC Correction: -0.02077
Real price per share: 0.32922

Because we didn't get all the miners at once (or with a 1-day difference as was promised at first) it took some time to mine the correction for GB2 together unfortunately. Also, we need to calculate the hosting costs for the period of mining without the group being complete.

Between the start of the first miners and yesterday afternoon we mined a total of 204.0262605 btc. This is divided amongst the GB's as follows:
GB1: 143.0184958 (0.000961/ addiction share) (0.096115 / GB share)
GB2: 43.04203684 (0.000434/ addiction share) (0.021695 / GB share)
GB3: 17.96572792 (0.000290/ addiction share) (0.014488 / GB share)

The costs for hosting up until all the miners were delivered were (16th of October):
GB1: -8.149405772 (-0.00005477 / addiction share) (-0.005476751 / GB share)
GB2: -0.814940577 (-0.00000822 / addiction share) (-0.000410756 / GB share)

This totals to the following divs:
GB1: 0.000605 / addiction share (0.060483 / GB share)
GB2: 0.000000 / addiction share (0.000000 / GB share)
GB3: 0.000705 / addiction share (0.035263 / GB share)

In order to be able to issue all shares today we will pay the GB1 dividend normally then issue all shares on GB2 and GB3. The GB3 dividends will be made in a one-time payment to the owners btc addresses. People that indicated they wanted their GB3 shares on bitfunder will be contact thru PM first to ensure we use the correct BTC address.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Early bird miners on GB2

As was pointed out by several shareholders on GB2, we said in the OP that "early shares would have early advantage" if it would come to that. Well we never expected it to come to that and promptly forgot about it Smiley But we did say we would and we did get some miners on GB2 early.

These 3 miners mined a total of 14.29687217 BTC (out of the 43.04203684 mentioned above). This amounts to 0.01921 per GB share (as opposed to 0.0072060 if we just divide it on everyone). People on the first 3 miners therefore will "miss" 0.012010 per share.

We own 402 out of 744 shares on the first 3 miners and we do not want to make use of this early advantage but instead choose to divide it all on the group. The remaining miners on the first three miners will be payed upon request out of our own pockets (4.107468 BTC). Reason being that if we would have to correct those as well it will become even more chaotic than it already is.

So if you have shares on the first three miners of GB2 and insist on receiving the extra divs you are entitled to because of the above reasons, please send us a PM and we will transfer 0.012010 per GB share on those miners to your btc account.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now with above complications out of the way the only thing that remains are the costs for hosting, PSU's and transporting the miners. Hosting will be deducted from weekly dividends. We pay 200eur / miner /month in a state of the art datacenter which so far keeps our miners nice and cool. They also offer free hands-on support almost 24x7 which is a reassuring thought.

The total of the one time costs amounts to 2.685445 per miner(0.00021657 per addiction share). This is divided over the following costs:
PSU: 1.16028 BTC
Transport: 1.44318 BTC
Setup hosting: 0.081981 BTC

The transport costs were a lot higher than we expected. This is due to the fact that we received the miners in 3 batches. Also for the first batch we received notice at 1600 the day before delivery. On the second and third batch we received word the day the miners were ready. We've had no other option but just get the miners by any means possible. We tried to change the pickup to transport but KnC informed us that it was not possible to transport them anymore.

These costs will be deducted in the dividends of the next 2 weeks.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last, please don't transfer any addiction share for the remainder of the day. Transfer window will open as soon as all dividends have been paid. Transfers sent so far have all been processed and can be found below. Shortly the list will be completed with private shares from GB2 and GB3. From now on we'll be using Addiction amounts instead of the original GB amounts.

Blastbob & Tyrion70

You guys are doing a great job!

Hi, did TerraHash, https://terrahash.com, make any other victims out there?
Except a slow confirmation of my payment I did/do not get any response anymore!

My order #1138
4.5 GH/sec Modular Board (Klondike 16) × 1
Assembly Only: No (TerraHash will provide the Avalon chips)
$ 250.00

Anyone a good idea how to convince them to deliver or to refund...

If you paid via PayPal and want a refund...  LISTEN UP.

If you did not open a dispute within the 45 day window and you call PayPal... They will (9/10 times) deny you any kind of refund and say it's impossible as after 45 days their terms of service says they are not able to provide a refund.  That statement is sort of true.   If there are exceptional circumstances, PayPal WILL give you a full refund.

I got a refund from PayPal, today, for every order I placed  (If you ordered any TerraHash boards through me - you have been refunded too).

Here's how:

Call PayPal.  Get the fraud/dispute department.  Tell them you understand you are outside the 45 day window.  Tell them about TerraHash.  Tell them you and a lot of people online have been scammed by TerraHash.  Explain what TerraHash is doing and how they ave taken hundreds of thousands from PayPal users. shipped nothing, and will not reply to any contact attempts.  Ask to open a claim even if it's outside the 45 day window.   They may close your claim automatically, siding with TerraHash.  Call them back!

Especially mention the high dollar value.  Every time I dropped the amount of dollars that TerraHash took via PayPal they go get a supervisor.

If they refuse your refund, call again.  Talk to someone else.  Ask to talk to a supervisor.

If they refuse your refund, call again.  Talk to someone else.  Ask to talk to a supervisor.

I talked to a guy in the fraud department named Aaron, employee ID 45731.   He and his supervisor got my money back from TerraHash and he told me today, that he will do his best to help anyone else who can't get their money back from TerraHash.

So, PayPal tells you no?  Call again, get Aaron on the phone, tell him your story.

If you are still within the 45 day dispute window.  Filing a dispute now will get you an extra 20 days of guaranteed refundability if TH doesn't ship, if not even more.  With no downside.   So on your 44th day, file a dispute.

TerraHash/Amir: You tried to fuck me.  The tables have now turned.
