I bet CryptoWatcher420 has much more experience with, so do as he says. The above was just my assumption.
But for 6 GPU rig I'm almost positive you going to need a stronger PSU.
I dont think so, still it depends on how much undervolt can you go. I personaly use RM1000x for 7 rx 580 8GB with 1150/2100, and it only cost me 850w max.

I have got this mainboard and dont get any screen. Changed CPU from G4400 to 6100T - same Changed RAM - same With 1 GPU in 16x Slot - same With 1 Riser - same Without any GPU and HDMI connected to the board - same
With G4400 the Keyboard light is on but no screen.
Power supply for sure is connected and Molex Power too.
Any hints?
Have you try it with on board GPU? Using HDMI monitor or using converter like this

I just got one of these and am having lots of issues. Windows 10 latest creator AMD blockchain drivers latest bios for board all powered risers (electric tape on back to keep them from shorting) (why did they build this board with slots so close?)
Ok so I did all the normal methods for getting multiple GPU's to work on Windows. I had 8 cards up and running a few days ago. Then my surge suppressor went out.
3 days later the most I can get is 7 cards and that was a real struggle.
If I take each card by itself, DDU,reload drivers, Patch, it will run just fine. So I know my GPUS are fine.
If I take one at a time and let Windows load driver and then patch driver and reboot I can get (usually) 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 then it gets very sketchy and hit or miss.
I am using 3 PSU's to spread power around so plenty of that. (3 because I planned on adding more cards)
In the bios all I have done is disable onboard LAN (using wifi) disable onboard sound. I have tried PCIE auto, gen1 and gen 2. Honestly I dont see any difference. Same results I mean.
During the last 3 days I have probably tried everything a person could try to get back to 8 cards.
Here is what I know - All 8 cards will mine All 13 slots have been tested successfully All drivers and updates are done Windows sucks So I tried Linux. Linux also does not see all cards. This implies a board issue or a bios issue.
Any suggestions are welcome and maybe someone has an idea I havent tried.
I think because of that AMD blockchain drivers. You need to use lastest driver.

The "at the wall" measurement includes power lost to inefficiency in the power supply. It will COMMONLY be 8-10% or so higher (depending on the efficiency level of your specific PS at the point you are operating it) than what the system itself is drawing.
The power supply "rating" is for how much you can pull out of the PS - 80% of THAT is what you should be aiming for as a max, which will be more like 88-90% when measured "at the wall".
Also, most power supplies get less efficient fairly quickly when you push them much past the 60-80% range.
So its around 880w for 1000w psu and 1100w for 1250w psu.

|
|
No.
Get a 1200w PSU minimum.
Unless ofcourse you want lower lifespan on all of your hardware and PSU. And constant crashes/reboots.
Don't listen to metroid he's a mega troll.
hehe.
And i though thats real.
|
|
|
Yes very safe, a 1000w psu maximum output within the computer is 1000w which is 1100w at wall. So if you are using 960w at wall then that means 87% of total power the psu can handle.
So 80% from what we got from wall is safe? Kind like for 1000w psu for 880w on wall?

i need a good cryptonight strap for h5gq8h24mjr
I need it too. Don't we all? Akakakakakkakaa, count me in. For 1150 2100, max i can get only 930 h/s for xmr. How about others? i can't get even 930 h/s lol well ok , i did not spend too much time working on this, only a few hours but its hard to believe that with a rx580 8g i can get only 800hs with this shit mem I have two RX 580 with this shit hynix MJR mem. Max I can reach is 830-850 h/s XMR. Speed differs on different miners. Claymore 9.7 - 810-820 h/s - 1400/2250 Claymore 10.2 with dmem 1 - 830-840 h/s - 1400/2250 GGS - 850-855 h/s - equal speed on 1250/2250 and 1400/2250. Max core i can use is 1150 since its already 70w on gpuz, if i pump more, wasting energy. I just set core 1250 - vddc 900 and memory clock 2250 - mvddc 900. And power draw is equal or even less than yours. I use sgminer and dont know how to set it. Akakakakakakakkakakaka. Usually i set at bios, but i cant undervolt in bios and i dont use AB/Trix.

I've opened a support case with ASRock as something just doesn't seem right here.
Even though I have disabled the on board GPU I'm still seeing it in device manager, if i disable then the one 1050ti with "no resources" briefly goes into a normal state but then back to Code 12 following a reboot.
At device manager >> choose show hidden device aand delete all of gpu that hidden there. And then restart windows. I did find a hidden adaptor and deleted it, one of the 1050ti's still go back to no resources after a rescan. I cannot seem to get rid of the Intel HD Graphics despite disabling and uninstalling - it always comes back (not that I think that's the cause of the issue though) When the error appear? When start mining? Have you already add swap file at least 16 (i use 50 GB swap file though) like andydis said?

Press delete or maybe F2 when you boot up your pc (but i dont think thats the problem, since there is sound in your old windows right) Or maybe try update windows driver or use your motherboard driver cd.

RX 470 4GB hynix (HIS) .....
You can find straps for that here, just read few pages back.

I think you should try install Automatically Detect and Install Your Driver Good Luck
Ah I forgot about that. Right click my computer >> property >> advanced system setting >> device installation setting >> click no >> save changes. Then click device manager >> right click your GPU >> uninstall device >> click delete the driver. Shift + click restart >> then go to safe mode >> use DDU there >> restart. Instal your driver (i use blockchain) and then wait till it deteck both of your card. patch it using atiadmpatch and then restart. I'm in the last step, what is blockchain? Driver for mining. Maybe the lastest driver better. http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-Beta-for-[Suspicious link removed]pute-Release-Notes.aspx I did all the steps and it's still the same problem I put some screenshots: http://prntscr.com/ha8krghttp://prntscr.com/ha8mn6What windows that you use? Try use 10 64 RS3 1709, and use another driver >> Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-Beta-for-Blockchain-Compute-Release-Notes.aspx ([Suspicious link removed])

Yes, I already tried with both cards and only mine with the rx 580 Maybe it's a problem with the model of the cards?
Maybe i got wrong approach here. Check your device manager, is the card on got error !? You use mod bios? Have you applied atiamdpatch? In the device manager the rx 480 have a exclamation point and the rx 580 is fine i have mod bios in the rx 480 and yes am use the atikmdag-patcher-bios is dat the problem? and i use the last drivers Try patch it again, since I always patch it everytime new GPU installed.
