141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is is still a good time to Invest in Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 09:46:42 PM
I'm watching the bitcoin for a few months now, saw it going up from $2,000 to over $8,000 in just 6 months.

What shook me up this morning is a notification I got by email saying it's over $8,000!! Bitcoin is up by 43% in a single month.

The big question is, will we see $10K soon, perhaps before the end of the year, or what are you guys expecting to see in the next few months?

I've been trading Forex in the past, today mainly US Stocks, but have no clue what to expect from Bitcoin.
Is it still a good time to buy, or should I wait more and see what's going on in the next 6 months? Any thoughts?

If the current price of Bitcoin is the end of its progress and growth, then no it's no good investing now. However, the community believes that Bitcoin is just beginning to show how steadfast it is and how much more it could grow. So with this mindset, it is reasonable to say that investing now is still a good decision. We've seen how fast can Bitcoin grow in value and we've seen how firm people in supporting Bitcoin. So if anyone hasn't jumping in until now, now would be the best time to do so.

In addition, just like the others I also think that buying now is not wrong because the price of bitcoin will continue to rise and buying now even at high prices will still give you profit in the future. I think this is what should be in our mind, there should be no worry in buying bitcoin now and investing because as soon as the price continue to rise, the buying price will be higher indeed and if you will  be investing after 6 months or more, there is a chance that you will regret buying earlier.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum after 5 years? on: December 04, 2017, 09:17:09 PM
Etherium and Bitcoin are too different things so we can't compare them. Etherium is a platform for unique opportunities based on Bitcoin and Bitcoin is a foundation for the whole cryptocurrency world. It's like a discussion "what is cooler: Firefox or Windows XP?"

Right, Ethereum will not beat bitcoin because bitcoin will always be the leading crypto currency. Ethereum might be another popular coin but the popularity and the demand for bitcoin is greater. Bitcoin will continue to rise as well as Ethereum but eth will not be able to overcome bitcoin. There are other popular coins but bitcoin and ethereum are the coins leading.
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: December 04, 2017, 08:56:10 PM
i think no, we're currently having a good price at that level, expect a bull run soon. so buy and hodl bitcoin before's too late. bitcoin will accept it in any business establishment that's why the price going up

Right, bitcoin is really strong today and is still getting stronger. Maybe it will continue to increase but bitcoin is too volatile, there is still a chance that anytime it will fall or will crash. Anyways, the price is too hype to assume that it will fall soon so it will be much better to enjoy it. I think that for those who have the money to invest, it will be good to buy bitcoin now. The price continue to increase and its buying price, even if a dump will happen, is still high. Buying now might be wrong because the price is still high but of you will consider the fact that bitcoin will continue to grow you will still be able to earn a profit for sure.

144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: December 03, 2017, 06:16:58 AM
Usually I don't but recently when the sudden huge rise took place, I used to check the price of Bitcoin daily, even more than thrice in a day.
And not only Bitcoins, but nearly most good altcoins as well where I am or wanted to invest. Checking the price is good, but it depends for me as many days I miss checking it.

Checking the status of cryptos is very important as well as how important it is to be updated of what is happening in the crypto world. And it is not just the price of bitcoin that price of bitcoin that needs checking but also the other tokens like ETH and WAVES.
It became my habit to check their price everyday especially the price of the tokens that I have. I always keep track so that I know when was able to gain profit and from which coin.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin has role to play in the future? on: November 27, 2017, 11:37:15 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that is fast, secure, decentralized, and which also has very cheap transaction fees.
Bitcoin has no border from one country to another that is why it is accepted all over the world.
Based on all these aspects, do you think bitcoin has a role to play in the future?

Share with us what you think? thanks Smiley

Yes bitcoin has a big role in the future not only into the developer also to the user. Because at this time it is very beneficial to us due to their volatile price that gives profit/additional income. If bitcoin was successful in the next day/future it has a big role especially in transaction, even in illegal transaction of bitcoin as being crypto-currency.
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc: hodl or invest? on: November 27, 2017, 10:06:49 PM
The best you gonna do right now is to hold your bitcoin and for sure after few weeks you will earn more profit becauss the bitcoin will continue to increase for sure. But if you want to invest in alt you can but it's better if you use the extra money that you have in your wallet right now.
Holding bitcoin is really profitable especially this year because tge price of bitcoin keeps on rising.  I have invested in alt once and unfortunately the project didn't succeed,  I keep on joining signature campaigns to continue trading and earning bitcoin.  Most of my bitcoins comes from trading so its my main source since I cannot afford mining.  To hold or invest are good ways to  earn  bitcoin but for now I will concentrate in trading more.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: November 27, 2017, 09:35:40 PM
Not that I really liked the slot machines, but sometimes, maybe once every few months I play them online. I would like to try to play slot machines in a real casino, but there is no such possibility.

Aside from poker,  I also like slot games.  Slot games are very interesting and the design is very creative,  I guess the design is to attract people to play it. This games is 100% based on luck and I tgink that is the reason why people are nit interested in playing it. You can't contribute any effort or skill to win this game.
148  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why Segwit adoption is so slow? on: November 27, 2017, 08:31:28 PM
Mainly because people who do not support segwit and strongly opposed it exists.  Another reason is that even if there is a segwit some would not implement it and we can't just go and tell them to do so.  Many people sees segwit very beneficial especially for faster transactions but of course not all people have same way if thinking and accepting.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2017, 08:00:03 PM
I will spend money from bitcoin for the important needs and that if is really needed or necessary . Because bitcoin is a big part in our daily life. Especially in times of our trouble or in case of emergency. Let us think well and be wiser where we use our money form bitcoin because its not so easy to earn. But the most important is we keep it for savings so that our future is already secure and put into investment so that we can earn profit.

Good thinking and in terms of important needs,  matters or things,  my bitcoin is being spent for my schooling and mostly for helping my family.  My mother is recovering from stroke and I am usinbmy money for her medical assistance. I have no regrets if ever all of my bitcoin will be used for it as long as she would be okay again.
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't Spend Too Much Time Trading? is that true? on: November 27, 2017, 05:48:37 PM
Since you can manage yourself to spend more in trading ,no worries to spend a lot.As long it cannot be result for loosing money and your having a lot of experience, knowing the skills it might be resulting for profitable income.

Ever since,  I always keep in my mind that spending time on doing trading is a kind of investment wherein the more time I spent the more I will learn.  Gaining  trading experiences have helped me to become a good trader,  I am not saying that I am the best, experiences have helped me to become more positive and patient when doing and it actually help in life too.  Earning bitcoin acts as hope for students like me who wabts to earn while studying and for someone who wants financial freedom in the future. The more I spend time in it the more interested I became because there are still a lot for me to learn regarding bitcoin trading.  Besides,  wasting  time on cryptos is more productive than killing time doing nonsense things
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next BTC Crash? When? on: November 27, 2017, 04:45:09 PM
I sold all of my BTC with 8200$, Now I want to join to the game again, What do you think about next crash time? I think it will be crash beforBTC hit 10k$.
A crash or just a dip? Crash is something else, However nobody can exactly predict that when we are going to face the dip but most probably it will be after $10K. I think you have made a mistake by selling your BTC at $8200 because price is still rising continuously, but don't worry wait until the next dip and invest again.

For me selling at that price is nit a bad idea especially if someone started earning at low prices.  If he is like me who have started with bitcoin at $2000 then he must have earned a profit already. The reason to be sad is because the price of bitcoin continue to increase and by selling at that time he loss the opportunity to earn a bigger profit.  Well,  the supply of bitcoin is continuous and there are many ways to earn bitcoin so it is not the time to mourn for that loss opportunity because he can still get that back.
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: November 27, 2017, 04:14:32 PM
There is no fixed income in doing trade. it depends on how well you do with bitcoin trading. If you know what you are doing and you get lucky sometimes, you could make some good profits with trading. You can also probably do fine if you just buy and hold bitcoins. Its also a lot easier to just hold because trading is a lot of work if you do all the research and follow the charts every day.

Though holding bitcoin is a good idea especially now that the bitcoin continue to rise,  trading is more fun and exciting. As a bitcoin enthusiast,  trading enables us to understand more the concept of bitcoin's volatility.  Through it we will also be able to explore crypto currencies,  we know that bitcoin is not the only crypto ang there is a lot more.  Many people may have bad experiences when it comes to trading but we can and we should consider that there are others who became more successful because of trading.

154  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: November 22, 2017, 12:44:09 PM
Bitcoin is gradually becoming a global currency.in the coming years probably in the next 10 yrs it might be accepted as a global curreny. The rate at which is bitcoin is also mooning also has positive reaction towards global usage.
It just an speculation, we could not find out the exact result of bitcoin in the future, bitcoin is alive now because of benefits that they get by the user. But how about if this will use in illegal transaction? It will ban and result of crashes of bitcoin. In other word, by bitcoin we survive and with bitcoin it affect in some currency because of huge volatile price that will encourage some user to use this not for profit but as currency.
155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: November 18, 2017, 07:33:25 PM
I think you should be stop a few day then learn and review your mistake in trading. After find it, learn and review it then you can continue trading with new strategy and new risk management. My opinion your mistake is not use stop loss, before trading should be decide the amount of stop loss and take profit, for example stop loss 15% and take profit 25% and also use daily chart so more accurate to decide when buying and selling.
Or even he didnt tend to put stoploss after all and i do presume that he did make a panic sell when he saw that prices are already dropping. Lossing 40% is serious loss which we would really panic if we saw our capital is slowly depleting and times that we wont know already on what we gonna do. As being suggested have a break and analyse your mistakes and see where you did make a wrong decision to commit such loss. Any mistakes should really be learned off later on and we should expect losses to since theres no perfect trader on this world.

I had loss almost 50% income and I  didn't stop because I know that the problem is within me an not with trading. I was just enjoying  earning bitcoin but I thought of trying out new things so I entered altcoin and trading.  Being a newbie trader I also made a mistake of panic  selling when I saw that the price is dropping and that was when I loss a huge profit.  But that didn't stop me from trading,  what I did is I accepted my failure and treat it as a learning experience.

You could also do the same thing. After all,  the market price of bitcoin is on pump again.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: November 15, 2017, 09:25:59 PM
Yes or No?    Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters?
I think it is still the same. The early investors had not instantly benefited on it easily, as time passed by the value increased several times so by keeping bitcoin for long it gave them this huge benefit. The early adopters as u said benefit less is because of the length of time as well. Maybe 4 years from now if they’ve invested now bitcoin will be 10x its price right now (assumption) then the result will still be the same.

True, early adopters had been selling and buying Bitcoin.  There are lots of early adopters that sold out all their bitcoin since they thought that it is high enough to let go of 1 Bitcoin per 20 cents.  Those who holds bitcoin and believe it should really benefit from the time of waiting, promoting and pushing bitcoin to every banner ads in the internet.  We cannot expect late comers to have the same profit as early adopters.

Right, not all early adopters have benefit from the huge increase in the price of bitcoin. Considering the needs in order to live, some of them might have spent their bitcoin already in exchange for fiat and some of them might have sold their bitcoin losing hope that the price will never be as high today. Early adopters might have been calculating and thinking whether investing their time, money and effort in earning bitcoin. If others will say that it is unfair that early adopters should benefit more then there must be something what we call "envy" growing inside them.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: November 15, 2017, 08:28:54 PM
In my experience daily you will learn new techniques and new things in gambling so I cant say my self or think myself as a gambling expert. I believe no one is perfect and expert in all. You always guided towards learning new things daily it is endless.

Learning new techniques isn't enough to make yourself a gambling expert. It's true that no one is perfect, there are people that are also humble to say that they are not a gambling expert though they have massive experience on how to gamble properly and how they are winning against the house through their own methods especially in games like poker and sports betting.

I am gambling for years but I could not even consider myself en expert because I don't do much good in other gambling games. I like playing poker and in fact, among all gambling games this one is my favorite. I always win with my opponents in poker but when you invite me to play other games, I will always consider how unlucky I am in other gambling games. You see, not all people are able to learn good from other games, although I also play them but I don't enjoy it as much as I enjoy playing poker.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think Bitcoin Price will be in next 3years ? on: November 15, 2017, 07:25:19 PM
What do you think Bitcoin Price will be in next 3years ?

comment your view and let see who will be right.

I expect that the upper limit is maybe $100k within the next 3 years which would be something quite remarkable! If I had to put a guess though I would guess somewhere around $35000, for no particular reason however.

That is a very high price but I don't have doubts that it is possible for the market price of bitcoin to be that high. After all, bitcoin is getting more and more popular nowadays and as  soon as investors comes flowing in bitcoin price will not go to the moon (based from what others say) but will go beyond the moon.

If ever this happened my investments and holdings of bitcoin will be profitable and who doesn't want that, right?
159  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to get involved to understand crypto world on: November 10, 2017, 04:44:48 PM
I think you should communicate more with experts in this field, and study different sources.
There are good communities for learning, for example, Decred Slack, SingularDTV Slack, Crypto Twitter, r / ethtrader.

Yeah there are plenty of it especially now that crypto are booming and the popularity is increasing. If you are going to search on the internet you will notice that there are many websites, articles and etc about crypto world and I suggest giving time to read it.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: November 04, 2017, 04:38:00 PM
Hi guys,
Just curious.
I bought a little bit a few months ago, for the first time, for the sole reason that I want to invest in Bitcoins, and get a profit after 5 years, maybe 10 years.
So I would not need to check the price everyday, as it is of no use for me. But I do, can't help it!

I am not the only one I guess.

I am not totally checked the price of the bitcoin daily but I am always updated of what itd price now just because of my friends and my groups.. lately the value of bitcoin is up to 7000$..and I am very gratefull to that. And encouraged a lot to have more bitcoin..

Well,  do not depend on your friends or groups to give you updates about the market price of bitcoin.  Instead,  you must make checking of bitcoin price a habit not just for the sake of update but for knowledge in what is happening in crypto world. Be aware of any changes in the market price because if you will be that  complacent on getting updates from others it is possible to be dependent on them also for everything that you may want know regardinf bitcoin.
