1401  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2014 Casascius St. Petersburg Bowl Bitcoin Coin on: February 03, 2015, 12:25:00 PM
Finally recieved my delivery from Stryde today, in the UK, after ordering on xmas day

Looks to be a great finish

I wouldnt be surprised to see some very high grades come back for these coins

Great to hear! Yeah, it seams like people get their coins, just need to have a lot patience.
If you send some of them off to grading, then please send me a PM if I can piggy-bag 1 or 2 Casascius St. Petersburg coins.
Cheers!

I agree with mods that this thread belongs in service, since it is a advertisement of the website.
To get your bitcoin business started, it could be an idea to make some direct sales for bitcoins in goods (more exposure there).
E.g. post a couple of "easy to sell" silver coins.
Once you have established a name here, sales will go pretty easy for you.

That's a good idea and I think I will do that.  I also think to eliminate future confusion I should probably get an account name as wasatchcoin.  Thanks again for your help and validation.

No problem Smiley

I think grabbing that username is a great idea, you should do it now, before some others (scammers) get the same idea.

There is also a few other things you can do, place a bitcoin addy in your profile. You can used that later to sign messages and identify yourself.
You can also start calculating a vanity bitcoin address with prefix 1wasatc**********

I dont think this is a scam.

#SCAMALERT

I communicated with carrgo on ebay.
I can confirm that he control the power seller ebay account: http://www.ebay.com/usr/wasatchcoin.
I have no reason to believe that have any intention of scamming.

What quantum source do you use?
Four old lantern mantles. According to my estimation four mantles contain ~ 0.41g of thorium-232.

Look awesome.
How do you sample the noise?
Is that a couple of old Geiger counters you use?

1407  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy up to 5 btc. Paying with Verified 100% perfect paypal account. on: February 01, 2015, 08:40:18 PM
I'm sorry to offend you but I'm very far from a scammer. I just sold 17 bitcoins yesterday and it WAS ALL PayPal. If you don't have dealings with me please don't try to ruin my reputation without trying me first. I just got done writing a extremely large sub in reddit explaining my frustration with scammers, hacks and thieves that are ruining this amazing and wonderful development that was handed over to us in January 2009. Also I can show you my information on the Bitcoin Foundation. But I just ask that you please don't claim I'm something that I am not. That is not fair. Just because I'm new doesn't mean I'm bad!!!

No offense taken. But you must understand that this place is swarming with scammers, so when someone with 0 active post with a PP trade, then goes all the alarm bells off.
If you have a legit business then is there nothing to worry about, then just build up trust.

If your are serious about doing business here, then will I recommend you to post the tx id's for transactions (17 BTC), to document that you are actually doing business.

Signing an appropriate message with the receiving addy will certainly help help your business too:
Code:
2015.02.01 PKFaucetNetwork: Looking to buy up to 5 btc. Paying with Verified 100% perfect paypal account.

Please note I am not looking to sell bitcoins.

Nobody will fall into this trap, you are new here and paypal is reversible so you better give up.

Aaaaaand OP is gone  Cheesy

With all the account selling going on here lately (probably from hacked accounts) I thought I would post an address here I can use to sign a message should I need to recover the account in the future Smiley

1414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: January 30, 2015, 07:58:58 PM
I'll make a conscious decision not to buy a lottery ticket, yet I deserve to hit jackpot. Now I'm depressed since that didn't happen. Your line of thinking right there.

Well said.

Yep, end of discussion.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: January 30, 2015, 04:58:49 PM
It's easy to say in retrospect you would or wouldn't have sold but the same thing happens when buying in. People say oh if I would have invested in at as soon as you heard of it I'd be a millionaire etc, but the problem is they didn't. The people who have faith or take the risk are the ones that get rewarded and there's always people that didn't and regret their decision after the fact.
^^
OP, this is the answer to your question boiled down to a few sentences.

Same as any other commodity, you can look at Gold and say "why did I not buy?" or Oil "why did I not sell?".
Also another fact: in order for someone to be rich other needs to be poor - and the truth is not many people is rich and will never be rich.
You need to realize this and if you don't like it, you need to work harder or smarter than the rest of the crowd.

Personally I do not believe in fiat, I think we will see a major collapse in our life time, so all those millions of dollars of you "could have had" could turn out to be worthless at the end of the day.

1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: January 30, 2015, 12:59:37 PM
If anyone should have become an overnight millionaire it should have been me. I've been involved in virtual economies for many years now (mmorpg gold exchanges) and if anyone should have had the foresight to become an early adopter of bitcoin it should have been me but instead I was wasting my time fucking around with virtual gold. I wake up every morning feeling depressed.

Listen to me.

You are a little out of touch with realities here.
In order to have become a bitcoin millionaire you should have bought at $2.
Moreover, you should have bough at least 4000 BTC, so you should have been willing to put ~$8000 on the table.
Back then it was not so easy to exchange large amounts of dollars to bitcoins, you would have to find someone to make a deal with,
on top of that you had the risk to be scammed also the risk of loosing your coins.
Remember the technical solutions was not mature yet.

Then you had to be a strong believer. Not get tempted selling at $30, still hodl when crashed.
Keep hodling at $100 and not get tempted by getting a fancy new car.

Are a believer in bitcoin?
If yes, then put $8000 on the table to day and buy.
The gamble now is the same now as back then.
At least now the whole infrastructure is establish and the chance of getting scammed or loosing your coins are much less.
Choice is your.

24k .9999 fine gold Buffalo Coin.

Just a comment: it make little sense to write both 24k and .9999 fine gold. Since it is the same information in two different formats.
To my knowledge jewelers use karat, coins and builion normaly use the percentage.

Anyway, congrats on the lovely coin Smiley

Ya that's why I grabbed it.  The last one I got from PB pulled a 67 from ANACS.  Will definitely be sending this one in as well.

Would have done the same if I saw the post in time, the coin I have from this batch is the best of my cas silvers.
Congrats Smiley MS66-67 almost for sure Smiley
