fun ,instant game that restricts access to its website
also why would you shorten the link ? Bitcointalk is great for SEO and the link here does wonders (sometimes) to your site's ranking
in any case, seems like there are certain countries restricted from playing , so I guess I will review it when I move or buy a VPN  Grin
1423  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Rainbot 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 Wagering Contest 🎲 1%Edge 🎲 on: December 30, 2018, 07:04:39 PM
Dude I think that somebody did rain by mystake so they stopped payments.I heard that some of DuckDice was hacked. If that is true then it is good that they canceled your withdrawal.

Actually not somebody Duckdice automated Rain bot @DuckyCloud

fake news duckdice not hacked in that time .

their developer team did this mistake .

So this is 100% duckdice mistake ,, not any other users mistakes .

not sure why are you so edgy?
Duckdice rained by mistake, they rained 30+ btc , maybe more according to the screenshots
do you really think they should just gift you the coins and say , oh ok our bad , keep it

I'm sure you  posted that you didn't attempt to withdraw the money
yet it is clear from the screenshots that you did try and it was declined, very proud of your honesty and integrity, mate  Wink
1424  Economy / Gambling / Re: boxsbit on: December 30, 2018, 04:40:15 PM
any good features to encourage players to play here ? Instant withdrawals ? bonuses ? anything ?

a feature that can be considered as good , if the script is same as bitkong
is free faucet, there should be around 500 free satoshis (maybe less) so you can try the game
well, pretty much everything there is encouragementwise  Grin
even withdrawals are manual, according to the withdraw help tab
invite friend button doesn't work same as subscribe , so the site is not even 100% ready yet
p.s. never mind there is a 550k satoshi promotion ongoing, surprisingly generous ,I must say
way too generous, but if they dont pay the withdrawals then they can afford that right lmao, waste of time site

If you think that this is some generous way to get people play on their site then I do not think it is a good way because this is a one life time giveaway and he just put something like small amount just to get more players? And there is bitkong similarity, so instead of playing it is much more better to get into bitkong

No, the script is not like bitkong since me and my friends create it from scratch. I have to admit that there are similarities in UI(Bitkong inspired us), but apart from that, nothing is the same.
Just try it out we have demo and faucet, so you don’t have to really put your assets in just yet.

Okay, somehow it does not really same actually but overall I can say it is a nice game to play but I just wondering how do I see the bankroll that you have and the max bet? Because when I tried to play by using demo and set it to the max bet which is 1 btc and it is applied on there and the max winning that we can get is 700++btc, is it really true that you guys can open up until 1 btc as the max bet?

don't mix free betting mode with playmoney with actual betting
with tokens you can set 100 bitcoins max bet Smiley or 1000 bitcoins, it doesn't matter since you cannot withdraw them
you can try their free faucet game , their faucet is whooping 20 satoshis, but you can get lucky and make it big (well in theory)
the affiliate button is not working, still, by the way
1425  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-26]Coinbase Moves $5 Billion, Reports Largest Crypto Transfer on Record on: December 30, 2018, 04:25:36 PM
Coinbase moving insane amounts of coins is completely different from what people assumed it was, a mega whale institution buying the dip. Cheesy

In all seriousness, these insanely large amounts are a reflection of how much trust a centralized entity enjoys here, which I see as a bad thing, regardless of how well managed and compliant Coinbase is.

It could be that the popularity of Coinbase makes people stick to that platform for the sole purpose of instantly moving funds back and forth for free. None of the other exchanges hold that many crypto assets.

interesting, there were many who thought exactly that, Coinbase either buying the dip or panic selling, haha
I read an article of how seriously they take security of the coins, moving these amounts is not an easy one hour task
this one describes their new system, moved from generation 3 to generation 4 cold storage:

1426  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: my electrum wallet (NEW VERSION) has been hacked on: December 30, 2018, 11:41:01 AM
looks like he already scammed 15 BTC, sad brother, but there is nothing that will help you now

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/a9yji3/electrum_wallet_hacked_200_btc_stolen_so_far/

It's getting on for a 250 BTC haul now.

When it comes to updates I usually wait a few weeks just to be sure. I'd never use a computer-based wallet all the same.

All the Bitcoins are ending to this address: 1MkM9Q6xo5AHZkLv2sTGLYb3zVreE6wBkj
I feel sorry for OP and all those people who are victim of this scammer. Hopefully karma follows him/her.

I am glad that I have seen this topic before making the same mistake like OP or I would lose my coins too.

Good luck everyone. Please keep your coins safe.

checked my Electrum, doesn't seem to have any messages, guess it depends on a system you are running it on  Huh
Electrum updated the wallet but they made it version 3.3.2 compared to 3.2.2 , I have no idea why would they not change the last digit as well , like 3.3.0 or 3.3.1 ?

1MkM9Q6xo5AHZkLv2sTGLYb3zVreE6wBkj
more than 1 mil dollars amassed so far on this wallet, crazy to think that they managed to scam this amount of money Sad

1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can Bitsler and Primedice cheat players? on: December 30, 2018, 11:09:31 AM
IMHO gamblers lose, on average, way more than 1% house edge

That is exactly what worries me, it is not as simple as they claim it because of 1% house edge.
I think there this more going on behind the curtain, which is not right.

I understand your concern,  I myself have been looking at the figures and saw that too many gamblers had not 1-2 or even 5% loss
many were like 20-50% (especially the ones with only so many high roller bets) in the red
but as I pointed out above, people do not know  how to manage their banks ,they chase loss, they engage in extremely risky martingales etc.
I do not exclude the possibility that casinos  cheat, but this would mean the whole cryptography and provably fair is flawed and all of the owners are conspiring against us poor gamblers Smiley
which is very far fetched
RHavar explained it perfectly , reread his posts in this thread
1429  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: security window 10 Microsoft have access to my priv. keys. on: December 30, 2018, 10:33:49 AM
I believe everyone should start checking Bitkey Linux, https://bitkey.io/

It's a good concept, but it needs an update, and some publicity. It also might debatably be as good as hardware wallets.

I've heard that Distro few times, but personally without testing/review from expert (or i simply missed it), i wouldn't use it to create actual wallet. But their features are interesting and have wide selection of application, even altcoin wallet.

Unfortunately, they really need update (their GitHub last commit was at July 24) and looks like there's not enough contributor, especially wallet's library/dependency keep changed[1]

if you do not wanna use windows because you are afraid they would steal your data, there are many Linux based OS out there
also plenty of tinfoil to make hats from

Additionally, there are few Linux distro which is designed looks like a windows or beginner-friendly such as Linux Mint, Ubuntu or Manjaro.

Source :
1. https://github.com/bitkey/bitkey/issues/84

Mint is a cool Linux distro to be starting your acquaintance with Linux based OS es
nowadays, Linux is not like it used to be where you had to compile core and make sure your hardware
was on the list of supported by OS, which was quite a short list Smiley
so people chose Windows systems because of their plug-and-pray , sorry, plug and play
things changed, a lot and Linux is much friendlier nowadays
and what is more important, safer and cheaper than Windows
1430  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-23]Italy Steps Back on Tech Innovations Amid Pro-Blockchain Rules Incre on: December 29, 2018, 05:52:34 PM
Italy is full of debts and has a troubled economy run by the mafia. They would do well to embrace blockchain based currencies, they could be one of the first developed countries to use bitcoin to make amends

that is some 1980's biased view here
Italy's economy run by mafia, really? where did you get this info from, Godfather?
one of the first developed countries to use bitcoin Smiley , poor Japan and S.Korea- relegated to developing category
if you read the article, Italian government didn't step back as in said they do not need it
besides they just spent 1 bil euros on funds  to help the blockchain industry and technology-related innovations
maybe they have other more pressing matters at this moment

1431  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: security window 10 Microsoft have access to my priv. keys. on: December 29, 2018, 05:21:49 PM
the problem with windows operating systems is not the Microsoft itself. they are not making money by stealing your money. the problem is with the weaknesses that it has and worst of all with the backdoors that they have intentionally placed in this closed source operating system. many of them are unknown and when they are found they are exploited by hackers and lead to your loss.

Linux is a good solution as it is being suggested but you still should only think about cold storage if you want true security.

I have used Windows since 80s ... I know it has security flaws, but ofc it's not a scam, it will never still your money.

It has also privacy problems, like Google...

I know Linux is far safer and better for developers, but it has compatibility limitations and it is, imo, not so convenient to use (in terms of interface). For average user it windows 10 is ok.

If you want only to use the computer for cryptocurrency, ofc Linux is better.

Windows not being a scam is kinda stretching it  Grin
it won't steal your money , will just make you overpay for their license, nothing else
and yes, Microsoft has better things to do than trying to steal your coins
for example, fixing the numerous never ending stream of bugs their products are
if you do not wanna use windows because you are afraid they would steal your data, there are many Linux based OS out there
also plenty of tinfoil to make hats from
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can Bitsler and Primedice cheat players? on: December 29, 2018, 04:59:01 PM
~snip~
This is just so perfect. You guys can just read this and this thread is already over.

-snip-
When huge casinos are making thousands of bitcoins every single year and profiting so much that its a wonder how this is not a crime (yes that much profits) it would make NO sense to scam anyone from their point of view.

casinos are making enough money because of the house edge and the ignorance of the vast majority of gamblers as to the simple gambling practices
casinos do not need to cheat you for you to lose , you are bound to lose 1 bitcoin out of 100 bitcoins wagered in the long run, I mean collectively, of course there is variance
but IMHO gamblers lose, on average, way more than 1% house edge
many are oblivious to the math behind the game they are playing, hell , many are in all seriousness claiming that they just have been cheated because they had 15 reds in a row
or they "cannot be losing every time they play on this site" - yes you can if you don't know how to play
1433  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-23]Ethereum Co-Founder Calls ‘the Cryptobottom of 2018’ on: December 29, 2018, 04:21:44 PM
I guess he was right, ethereum is pumping now so the bottom was around $80. The price has doubled since then so good times for ethereum hodlers. If anyone bought at $80 you have doubled your fortune!

he is not wrong on this one, a week has passed and so far the price is stable around 4000$
etherium is showing some signs of recovery too , not double from 80$ though, but "solid" 120$  Grin
the ones that have bought it at 700$ or so might disagree with the solid definition, haha

1434  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-25] Bitcoin Network Loses Nodes and Difficulty on: December 29, 2018, 03:48:10 PM
what a surprise , bitcoin loses difficulty because it is not profitable to mine ...
7% drop is just the beginning , I'm, actually, surprised only 7% has dropped
there is  profitability threshold at 6000$ with your average 10 cents kw/h electricity costs
at the moment some miners can sustain loss and are mining in a hope for the price to get back to at least 5k
pretty sure next 3-4 difficulty adjustments will be similar- a drop around 5-10% each

1436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All bankers hate BTC, am I right? on: December 28, 2018, 09:32:59 AM
bankers, at least professional bankers should be free of any sentiments when money talk
bitcoin turned out to be one of the most profitable assets- in 3 years time its value grew 50+ times
find me another asset that has shown similar results?
I'm pretty sure many of them are holding to some bitcoins while cussing it publicly:)
also for some of them it is different , take for example, Goldman Sachs :
https://www.investinblockchain.com/goldman-sachs-bitcoin-trading-desk/
they see the potential bitcoin offers and the first ones to enter markets always gain advantage
so in general, yes bankers are opposed to legalising bitcoins and making it fulfil your usual money 3 roles
as store of value, medium of exchange or a unit of measurement ,but sooner or later this will change
1437  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice-Bet 🎲 0.7% Edge | Wagering Competition | BTC, LTC, ETH | on: December 28, 2018, 09:00:15 AM

I cant even imagine on creating 10 accounts just to make abuse how much more on 100 accounts on the same site.A truly time wasting thing.
For now we cant argue if someone already did such thing but the amounts that can be collected will already give a picture that it isn't really ideal for abusers to waste up time.Just
like been mentioned above abusers will choose up the site which they can saw that they will able to milk out money easily without spending too much time or shall we say
and easy task for them.

don't underestimate the urge for free money Smiley people claim regular bitcoin faucets all day for pennies
in some countries it is more than you can earn in a day ,so it really depends on how you value your free time
there was this time at another casino, Stake where abusers managed to claim lot of coins
they were running some sort of automated software on hundreds if not thousands of accounts
since that time Stake reduced their faucets from ,like 500 (and you could get more than that if your account level was high enough)
to 10-20 satoshi now and it is pretty plenty to test the site out, IMHO
1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YEAZ.WIN - USDT CASINO GAME ♥️♦️♠️♣️FREE 2-10 USDT FOR NEW PLAYERS 💲💲💲💲 on: December 28, 2018, 07:26:04 AM
graphics looks stunning, is it your own casino or is it a license?
I don't think I've seen games like that is any casino, to be honest
lots of newbies hitting jackpots does sound a little bit weird, but hey new casino tend to payout Smiley
I'd try it but the whole download- verify phone number-join telegram-join facebook and then get a tutorial on how to convert
and then to withdraw sounds just a tiny but complicated for a 2$ free credit
1439  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁$100,000 GUARANTEED EVERY MONTH IN WAGER CONTESTS &FREEROLL🎁 on: December 28, 2018, 06:32:58 AM
right ,Bitsler gave away 1 bitcoin in their super lottery just yesterday and countless coins before that
and they are dead set to deprive you of your 0.07 btc, made me chuckle
there are rules against money laundering you cannot simply deposit a large sum, bet once and request a withdrawal
this is not a mixer for coins but a gambling site , I'm sure if you send them your plastic ID card that will count for passport alright
1440  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting Forum on: December 28, 2018, 06:21:40 AM
Like what other members said, I also noticed that the members of Betting Forum are quite inactive. The population there is currently 11,000+ and yet only have few discussions. Nonetheless, everything is good including the theme, interface of the website and especially on how things are categorized — the forum looks neat.

Maybe I'll join that forum in the near future, as soon as it gets more active.

its an old forum, thats why there are 11k + registered users
the problem is that there are no new members enough to keep it alive, or , rather as active as others
there must be locomotives in a form of enthusiasts who are posting quality content and people who read it will come
as I said, you may want to incentivize people and run a promotion to get fresh blood to your forum
the engine and the forum itself looks great, the niche is good- betting and gambling will be forever popular
just think of the ways to get readers and not to get bankrupt in the process
