Milan are a big disappointment in the Serie A this season but at least they are doing something in the Champions League. They have reached the quarter finals by eliminating Tottenham you know. However they should still focus on the Serie A as much as possible. Because while they are concentrating on the Champions League mostly they can lose their position in top four in the Serie A on one hand. This wouldn't be ideal at all for them. If they can't qualify for the Champions League it would be difficult for them to hold some stars in the team this summer.

For example skilled players like Leao and Theo Hernandez might be even more likely to leave in that case.

Tottenham were close to taking a deep breath after Liverpool lost to Bournemouth last week. But they are still feeling Newcastle's presence right behind them as the gap is only four points. But at least they are more than one win away from Newcastle in the standings now. It is really important for Tottenham to qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season. They can at least do this as a "success". It isn't even a success for a team like Tottenham of course considering the quality of their squad.

They have a great manager like Conte as well but still they are unable to win a title. This would be a big reason for Kane to rethink of his departure from the team this summer. Tottenham wouldn't be willing to let him go easy of course. But if he becomes insistent then things can get interesting.

The match is going on just in the way Real Madrid would like to see. There is a nice balance in the match for now. I don't expect Real Madrid to hand the control of the match over to their opponent. They are playing completely different than the La Liga here. Ancelotti is preparing the players very well for the Champions League. In the end this is the most important tournament for them. They have been dominating the tournament in its history so far as well.

Anyway I wonder why Klopp doesn't want to give Firmino a chance in the starting eleven. It looks like he is really leaving the team this summer.

Real Madrid are increasing their attempts for Jude Bellingham day by day. For now Bellingham is their top transfer target obviously and they are ready to pay whatever amount is needed to sign him in the summer. The speculated amount is 100 million euros plus 40 million euros for bonuses. This would be one of the biggest deals in football history as a result. But it isn't much difficult for Real Madrid to meet this demand as well. They didn't make this kind of a transfer for a long time.

They are already trying to make the midfield as young as possible and they are targeting skilled youngsters. Bellingham might be even the best midfielder in his position comparing to the others at the same age.

Dortmund are really like the only team that can fight against Bayern Munich for the league title until the end of the season. This is really happening for the first time in the recent years. There isn't much time left for the end of the season. I mean there are only ten weeks left for it. Dortmund are still in this title race by only two points behind Bayern Munich. Dortmund's incredible form for so many weeks has been a huge help for them while Bayern Munich have experienced some unexpected losses.

But Bayern Munich are still a huge favourite for the title of course. I just hope not to see this gap get bigger soon. Especially the der Klassiker in Allianz Arena will be decisive about this situation.

It was a really competitive match between Girona and Atletico Madrid. Both teams were capable of getting a win in this match actually. Girona were already a team that were as effective as Atletico Madrid when it comes to scoring goals and being quite productive. I remember one time Lopez got very close to scoring a chip goal after seeing Oblak a little ahead. But Oblak's reaction to that attempt was also very lovely to watch. He made a great save. Maybe it was even the breaking point of the match.

Because in the final moments of the match Morata saved his team by making use of a big chance. It must be one of his most comfortable goals in his career as well.

Manchester United seemed like they were in the title race some time ago. But this didn't last long unfortunately. They started to get poor results for two weeks and this caused them to fall quite behind Arsenal and Manchester City both. Still it would be a good achievement for them if they finish the season at the third position. Because they weren't good until Erik ten Hag came. Even after his arrival he needed to take his time for a while to adapt to the team.

In that time period they continued to have poor results and ten Hag was even criticized harshly by some people. But after being patient they started to make a big improvement in their performance. Juventus made a huge mistake by bringing Pogba from Manchester United. I mean he was already an injury-prone player back then. It was a big risk to take for Juventus as a result. Manchester United didn't even make an attempt to extend his contract. Juventus should have been suspicious about that already. But they still wanted to bring back their old player to the team. But this has cost them quite much. His salary is not that low now so they are just paying him for nothing.

He has even a contract lasting until 2026 now. I think Juventus should get rid of him for their own sake. I don't have any good expectation from his performance anymore.

Arsenal showed a really solid performance today. I wasn't expecting to see this much of a comfortable match for them to tell the truth. Because Fulham are one of the tough teams to beat this season therefore I thought Arsenal would have some difficulties. But they finished the job in the first half already instead. Trossard was the most impressive player of the day by making three assists. He has been a beneficial player for Arsenal since he joined the team as well. It looks like this is a good transfer for them really.

It was an important win for Arsenal while Manchester City were winning at the same time. They have a safe gap with Manchester City right now and they should be able to keep it that way in such matches.

There is a really comfortable match waiting for Galatasaray tomorrow. They are hosting Kasimpasa and Kasimpasa are one of the teams making an effort to stay in the Super League this season. While Galatasaray are in an amazing form it is too difficult for Kasimpasa to resist them in any way. Galatasaray have even brought another good name like Zaniolo to the team and strengthened their attacking area even more. I'm still surprised to see Roma letting him go that easy by the way.

I wonder if it was due to his injury-prone situation. Otherwise Zaniolo was shown as one of the big talents in the Serie A before.

There are rumours again about Real Madrid to make a move for Erling Haaland in the summer. They aren't even expected to make do with that. It is claimed that they will go for Haaland and Bellingham both. The news about Bellingham isn't just a speculation of course. They have really been after him for a long time and they seem very determined to bring him to the team. Bellingham is also leaning towards a deal for Real Madrid so they seem one step ahead of their opponents in this race.

However Haaland transfer doesn't seem realistic already now. I don't think he will be available to sign for a different team before 2024. As far as I know there was even a condition revealed that he would be available only then.

It looks like Fenerbahce have thrown away a big chance against Sevilla last night. Because they seemed really effective in the first half. But they were just lacking in finishing up those ones with goals. I wonder why they struggled that much because Jorge Jesus' system was working like a clockwork in the Europa League normally. Sometimes teams can really have a bad day and this was such day for Fenerbahce side. Sevilla should consider themselves lucky about not conceding first.

Because I think Sevilla defense would be in a bigger trouble if Fenerbahce managed to score first. They already don't have a reliable kind of defending style.

Sean Dyche has a really tough work to do with Everton from now on. When he came here first he made a really amazing start with the team. I mean they beat Arsenal in Goodison Park in the end while Arsenal were fighting for the league championship. But their good look didn't last long either. Their recent matches ended up with really poor results most of the time. They have had big problems with scoring goals in most of their recent matches as well. They looked better against Nottingham but still it also ended by 2-2.

Now I see that they are going to host Brentford this week. Everton are favoured by a very slight margin by bookies. There is some feeling inside me like Everton will win somehow.

Atalanta are a little away from the race for top 4 right now. Because there is a significant level of drop in their effort lately and this reflected on their results badly as well. The gap with Milan and Roma has reached five points already. Even Juventus have caught up with them a lot despite their punishment. Moreover this gap between Atalanta and Juventus can even be less than that by this week. Atalanta seem likely to lose that Napoli match. I don't think they can get 3 points just as Lazio did.

On one hand Juventus should be able to beat Sampdoria without big difficulties. I know how the Sampdoria v Inter match ended as well but we wouldn't see the same thing very often while Sampdoria are this much bad.

İlk yarıdaki Fenerbahçe'yi oldukça başarılı bulduğumu söylemeliyim. Tahmin ettiğimden fazla gol şansları elde ettiler ve yarıyı önde kapatma şansları da vardı. İkinci yarı başlamak üzere ve eğer Sevilla bu duruma bir çözüm üretemezse temsilcimiz Fenerbahçe bu maçı kazanabilir bile. İspanya'da alınabilecek bir galibiyet turu da bence büyük oranda Fenerbahçe'ye getirir.

Sevilla aslında Avrupa Ligi'nde La Liga'ya kıyasla çok daha iyi oynuyordu ama bu maçta pek de öyle bir görüntü veremiyorlar. Bu temsilcimiz için büyük avantaj aslında.

Things are in favour of Marseille for the second spot for now at least. Like I said before their being eliminated in the French Cup was pretty unexpected. Especially being eliminated by a second league team I mean.    But now they can just at least focus on keeping their current position in the Ligue 1 to finish the season decently. They could have been in the title competition with PSG now as well but it looks like they have wasted that opportunity already.

They had this opportunity until facing PSG a short time ago. But in that match there was a bad performance by Marseille which led to a comfortable PSG win. Marseille's finishing the season at their current position would still be a success for them though. In addition, they should be able to win against Strasbourg this week.
