Yeah and each one of Sainz and Leclerc took the lead in the practice sessions. However it was a really small time gap between in both sessions. It looks like we are likely to watch a really competitive qualifying session. Ferrari surprised us by having a clean race weekend in Monza. But I'm not confident of them to continue being consistent in Singapore as well. Because we have seen strategical mistakes or long pits very often so far. On the other hand I remember how the last race in Singapore went for them. It was a really great one for Ferrari by having both drivers on podium.    Verstappen's having big issues was also a big help in this of course. Leclerc was even nearly winning the race if he didn't make a mistake while trying to overtake Perez.

I hope Ferrari can have at least one driver on podium once again. The car is good enough to be on podium. They just need to make the right calls as much as possible.

Thiago can't find much chance at Liverpool anymore. Because of that he has also been reported to be leaning towards this transfer. Trabzonspor offered a loan deal of 1+1 years. They are planning to sign him for free after that as well but let's see. While Liverpool aren't giving him a chance in the starting eleven I think they might also give green light to this transfer. Arsenal are full of young players really. But they are still really solid when it comes to team play. Arteta has built a strong system for this team. They fought for the Premier League title last season and now they have started pretty decently as well. I think this team are capable enough to have a good achievement in the Champions League this season.

The lack of experience in the squad might be a hindrance for them to make it to the finale maybe. But first of all they should be able to finish their group as the leader comfortably. After that they can reach even the semi-finals depending on the draw I believe. But if they face an opponent like Real Madrid, Manchester City and so on then I don't think Arsenal can eliminate any of them.

It must be feeling really bad for him to be the first one. Because I don't remember Germany this much bad in the past to tell the truth. Erling Haaland would be open for new adventures after his release clause on his contract becomes active. Because as far as I know his father said that Haaland is eager to play for different big teams during his career. Hence he would be willing to listen to offers from other top teams in a few years the most. Barcelona would be an option for him as well of course. Because Lewandowski is already 35 years old and it is doubtful whether he would play here much longer.

I was surprised by not seeing Ronaldo against Luxembourg. It was just the game for him as he could have made even a hat-trick probably.    It was a really incredible effort by Portugal. I mean Luxembourg collected 10 points until this match. But when it comes to facing Portugal they can't do anything good just as it happened before as well.

It was unexpected for me to see Italy struggling against North Macedonia once again. But I think Spalletti will start doing a good work by winning against Ukraine today. I have mixed feelings about this decision by the board. A part of me says that this is the right call considering Laurent Blanc's not being able to make much improvement since the previous season. You know they couldn't qualify for any European competition due to their bad placement. This season started horrible for them as well.

The other part of me questions this decision about if it was too early to sack him. But I guess they did the right thing because Lyon's statistics so far have been really poor. A team like Lyon deserve to be managed much better than this. They should be competitive for top 6 to achieve something this season.

There is still a rumour about Jadon Sancho to leave by the way. Because it is said that he still hasn't figured out a solution for the issues between him and Erik ten Hag.

However even if he decides to leave and the team also don't make difficulties for him I don't know what team can sign him. I mean the transfer window for the Qatari league is still open as far as I know but it is like the only one now. Even Saudi Arabia isn't an option for him currently. He would need to wait for at least January.

I don't know what you think about this but I think it would be the best for Sancho to leave in this situation.

If we see Maguire in the starting eleven of Manchester United then Galatasaray's getting a positive result against them would be more likely.  

I don't expect Manchester United to rotate their starting eleven in the first match they play against each other though. But the next time they are facing each other is on match week 5. Maybe then we can see Manchester United making a rotation. I'm just waiting for especially both matches between these teams as these ones will be the decider about the second position.  

Galatasaray need to improve their defending until the tournament starts by the way. Otherwise I won't be hopeful about them much.

I hope you are right about this and we don't have to watch superstars like Mbappe, Haaland and more in Saudi Arabia at early ages. I was really worried about the possibility of Mbappe's accepting Al-Hilal's offer for example. They offered a one-year contract though but still I would like to watch him in Europe until quite old ages just as we watched Messi and Ronaldo like that.

However if UEFA decide to accept Saudi teams also into their organizations then things might get more interesting. Then I would wonder if these players also think about signing for Saudi teams and play in the Champions League while making a lot of money at the same time.
