1421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you have to manage risk for trading. on: September 18, 2023, 06:47:35 AM
To manage your buying and selling risks objectively, you should utilize objective indicators.
What kind of indicator is that?

I've created a solution for this, where I look for similar historical charts.
No indicator is needed to manage risks in trading, everything needed can be done manually by a trader.

For instance:
You have $10000 in savings. Managing risk begins with to use the amount of money you can afford to lose to trade.

Let us assume that you can afford to lose 5%

That is $500 out if $10000 that you have.

Does that require indicator? No. But people are lazy this days to use bots for something simple like that.

The second thing that you need are on trading sites that you want to use. I have seen it in all the trading site that I have used before. If you do not see it, you will see it in the settings. A way that you will be able to see the take profit and stop loss before you will be able to open a position. You can also see trading calculator on exchanges that can be used to calculate before opening any position.
1422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges allow you to trade derivatives even though it ban in your country on: September 17, 2023, 02:44:28 PM
This is the first time that I noticed that citizens from UK can not also trade in the derivative market. If exchanges like Binance do not allow you to trade derivative, that means it is not allowed in your country and you should not trade it.

Derivative trading is also possible on decentralized exchanges like Pancakeswap and many of other decentralized exchanges like that.
1423  Other / Archival / Re: Maximizing Profits through Multi-Asset Trading on: September 16, 2023, 07:50:02 PM
Move this topic to service discussion.

Your site is new and your domain name was created in just 2 months ago.

I click on your website and only what I was able to click on there is the white paper which I did not yet read because there is nothing I was able to click other than that and it is discouraging. The website needs development.

I do not think what you want to do can be allowed by the government. I have not seen a site which can let you trade stock, crypto and forex together in multi-asset mode.

In crypto, we have multi-asset mode where you can use many cryptoito open a position and I prefer that.
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino features you like and Don't like but you don't mind on: September 16, 2023, 05:25:50 PM
What makes me stick to a gambling site is the UI and how light they are to load, but this more about bookies with in-play. As for casinos only, I generally like the ones that I have used before. One thing that I noticed about casinos is that the games are offered by third party and the casino sites are not poor but good. What that can let me like a casino more is their promotional offers.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 16, 2023, 02:10:06 PM
Why do they leave that much in there, or is it simply for show off? A gambling expert should know better than to save their money on casino websites.
I will say it is just for showoff.

I always withdraw all my winnings and only deposit the right amount i want to use to gamble whenever i want to play a game. I’d like to know everyone’s opinion on which way is better and which one do you practice in managing your funds on gambling sites.
This is the best thing to do. It is not good to leave coins on a gambling site because they are centralized gambling sites. If you need to deposit more coins, it is not hard to do at all.

The gambling sites are just like centralized exchanges, you have no full control over your coins and any site can be hacked at anytime.

But people will be people, once they do not have a problem on a site, they will become lazy and leaving their coins on the site.
1426  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Barcelona team line up on: September 16, 2023, 12:50:39 PM
You do not need to post a new topic about Barcelona, you can post it on the La Liga discussion thread: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24
1427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those who forget history will be disgraced. on: September 16, 2023, 12:14:07 PM
You do not have to compare bitcoin with NASDAQ or any other stock, we have a way we are analysing bitcoin. 2024/2025 would be bullish. Without any stock or other assets, you can know they from bitcoin price history. Compare bitcoin present price with the past price is still what is working accurately.
1428  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 16, 2023, 07:40:22 AM
Trying to predict an amazing investment of a lifetime is like trying to predict tomorrows lottery numbers. Sure, you might or might not get lucky but the odds are definitely not in your favor. So, from a standpoint of probabilities, you did not have much of a chance to become rich anyway.
Predicting the price of bitcoin in the last halving is not a lottery because what was predicted was what that happened.

Personally, I do sometimes feel bad about not investing in Bitcoin sooner, even though I knew about it in the old days when it was worth mere dollars. But, whatever. Nobody can see the future. Roll Eyes Tongue
It is never too late, you can still invest and your wealth will grow as bull market will soon come.

Op, majority of the people will indeed ask you to choose bitcoin over altcoin which is the right thing. But of you have an inclination toward altcoins, it is also good that you divide your portion 70:30 or 60:40 while bitcoin will constitute the larger one, altcoins will take the remaining.
What if he invested on altcoin it becomes a shit coin and instead of it to increase during bull run it started to decrease in price. It is good to learn about the altcoins he wants to invest on becuase some altcoins can be disappointing.
1429  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin will reach all-time-high before halving. - BitQuant on: September 16, 2023, 07:28:52 AM
No, #Bitcoin is not going to top before the halving.
Yes, it's going to reach a new all-time high before the halving.
No, #BTC is not going to $160K because the magnitude of every pullback is large. This means it will peak after the halving, in 2024. And yes, the target price is around $250K.

What BitQuant is saying is that before the next halving, bitcoin will reach all-time-high but it will not be the all-time-high before a massive bear market will begin again. That bitcoin will later still increase up to $250000 after halving, which would be the all-time-high.

I know some of you people will agree that bitcoin may reach $250000. What about bitcoin to reach all-time-high before halving? As for me, I do not think so and the all-time-high I am predicting is $170000.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Gambling Strategies on: September 15, 2023, 08:56:18 PM
Ow, I'm doing the complete opposite of strategy number 2. I always start with small bets and then increase them bit by bit as my bankroll grows gradually. Could this be one reason why I have not been very successful in my gambling sessions? Does anyone else bet this way?
This is called martingale strategy. It is a good strategy, but it is good if you can use it wisely, else it can lead to a significant loss. I have used it in roulettes 3x odd and it has been working effectively. I can try it from $0.5, $2, $5 up to $15. At any point that I will at $2, I quite for that day. But loss after $15, I quit for the day.

It has not been the reason for loss, people are more prone to lose in gambling no matter the strategy used. That is why we should gamble with the amount of money that we can afford to lose.
1431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 15, 2023, 08:03:07 PM
I would advice you act wisely, crypto-currency is unpredictable and Bitcoin is not left out, have a plan you can start with that amount you are good if lost(not saying you would lose your funds) but start small and grow your Bitcoin portfolio .
Are you sure that bitcoin is not predictable? People on this forum predicted bull run in 2020/2021, they predicted a massive bear market in 2022 and they predicted mild bull run and bear market in 2023. It all occured as predicted. Bitcoin has been so predictable but what you can say is that it is a volatile asset. If it is savings, it is different from the money that would be used for daily living and securing it in bitcoin is a good idea when the price of bitcoin is low like this time.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Gambling Strategies on: September 15, 2023, 08:18:07 AM
The public also loves to back chalk. So going against the public in many cases leads to better payouts and plays that have a much better chance of winning
A good gambler will not think of going against the public. A good gambler may not check what the public are staking on but instead they analyse and stake on their own. This has been the way that I bet in sport.

What that makes most people to lose in gambling is the accumulation bets, but people that accumulate can just use lower amount of money to bet.
1433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Marry a Coin/Project - Practically Example on: September 14, 2023, 01:09:36 PM
According to the screenshot and his tweet, His 3M is now 21K and the last screenshot show it's only 6K.
This is not possible.

Doge ATH is $0.74
Doge price today is $0.062
That is a loss of 11.935x
$3 million when doge was $0.74 would be $251361 by now when doge is $0.062
So now loss.
1434  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bybit expects to exit UK market on: September 14, 2023, 12:43:23 PM
So why doesn't it affect any other crypto exchange and why Bybit only? Anyone from UK can help me understand this?  Roll Eyes
Not that UK ask crypto exchanges to cease operation, but that they should comply with the new regulation that will start from October 8. If there is any exchange that do not agree, or that think that the regulation will affect them significantly, they may decide to stop providing crypto services to the citizens of the country anymore.

If you can remember the regulation that Canada made in the beginning of this year or so, the exchanges that could not cope with the new regulation of a prohibition on the part of the CTP in respect of clients buying or depositing stable coins through crypto contracts without the prior written consent of the CSA all left Canada. OKX, Biannce and Bybit all left Canada at different time when they know that they can not comply.

He invested $250000 and now he has $250000, that means he neither gain nor lose. I will advice him to leave the coin, doge has reduced in value so much and there may only be little fall before the next bull run. I think doge may hit $1 in the next bull run. It is just a guess though.
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 14, 2023, 08:25:35 AM
How did you get over your addiction? I have seen people struggle with addiction for years. Some went into depression from it and had to end it with suicide. Your addiction survival story will be appreciated and I know many others can learn from it.
I started to gamble in 2014. I was addicted from the start all because I was looking for ways I can use gambling to make money consistently, like weekly income. I quite gambling in 2019. That was five years after. I started to gamble again a year after, that was 2020. I noticed I wanted to be addicted again and I quit again and started to gamble some months after. Then I noticed I was not addicted again in that 2020. What made me not to be addicted again was when I know the root cause of my addiction. I later knew I can not make gambling a source of income because it will only destroy my life. That was where the addiction ended.
1437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 13, 2023, 10:35:00 PM
A simple question to those who are hoping to profit on the next Bitcoin bull-run:
How do you determine when is the good time to sell?
in other words: how would you know we've reached the peak?
If you are making profit already, you can sell at anytime that you want.

Do you have a set "goal" price at which you'd be selling no matter what happens? Do you intend to sell incrementally as the price goes up?
If some peak prices are not gotten to, you may not be able to set a goal price. My goal price is $100000. If it fall from $100000, I will buy more and expected higher price.

Or maybe when the price gradually drops (e.g. it goes down for X days in a row), indicating we're past the peak?
It is not easy like this. In the last bull run, you remember that bitcoin got to $50000, fall back to $28900. It increased back to $50000 and reach $63500 or so and it fall again to $30000. It increased again and reach $69000 before the bear market started.
1438  Economy / Exchanges / Huobi global rebranded name to HTX on: September 13, 2023, 03:57:55 PM
The URL is still https://www.huobi.com/ which may likely be changed with time. The new names is HTX.

Some people are thinking that this may have something to do with FTX, but I do not think so because of what Huobi (now HTX) wrote about it. This is it:

Dear Users,

As the world's leading virtual assets exchange, Huobi launches a refreshed branding strategy on September 13, 2023, where "Huobi" will be rebranded as "HTX", our new global brand.

HTX: A New Global Brand

"H" stands for Huobi, "T" represents TRON with a commitment to being all in TRON, and "X" stands for the exchange. Looking at HTX through the combination of HT and X, HT represents the native token of the platform while X symbolizes the exchange. Hence, HTX is an exchange with its native token of HT. On the other hand, X is the Roman numeral for 10, which pays tributes to HTX’s 10th anniversary. It is a new era for the platform with synergy between HTX, TRON, and Poloniex. There is also a brand new slogan - "HTX, Just Trade It".

I brought this for people to know about it. Avoid fake URL also becuase I think some scammers like to use a means like this to scam people with google ads or fake link from search engine.

1439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All about Emotions on: September 13, 2023, 09:26:26 AM
@promise444c5, you can just let it be in a text link. If you have done it like that which is also simple, people will not complain about it. If you like, you can include the OP of the topics just like Mpamaegbu said already.

Emotions dealing
Emotion and Trade?
Trading, emotions and your fine selves
10 tips to manage one's emotions while trading crypto.

Trading is more than emotion, you can look for other helpful topics on trading discussion board. There are many of them. Traders will appreciate the ones with trading strategies and indicators also.

the most correct sentence is to learn how to control emotions  and exploit them to maximize profit, and not just put them aside when trading.
In trading, I noticed trader associate emotion to bad feelings, what can happen that can make you to against your strategy, closing of your trading position when you supposed not to have closed it and some other things that are related to losses in trading. I see this not to be accurate, emotion can be bad or good like you said, but there comes a time I just later have to admit when they are only associating it will bad feeling that is resulting to losses. And you have said it already indirectly from your post, that if a trader is trading with little amount of money, not using leverage but going for only just one leverage, they will overcome the emotion that they are talking about, but by doing so, the profit will also be minimal. I prefer my profit to be minimal than for the emotion they are talking about to overcome me, emotion will overcome greedy traders.
1440  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase announced LN integration on: September 13, 2023, 08:54:05 AM
I created the same topic some seconds ago after you have posted yours. I will lock the thread now.

It would be good if Coinbase integrate lightning network. And we hope to see more exchanges to enable bitcoin lightning network integration.
