Alonso looks like he has a few more seasons left in him actually.
Making two podiums in a row right at the beginning of the season is no mere feat in the F1 circuit having the likes of Lewis and Max to contend with.
Plus I think Sportsbet's Steve even had a photo with him I had seen from the unveiling event of the Aston Martin 2023 car.
So he is still a fan favorite, no matter what age he is at.
Plus Stroll's father who is the owner of the team sees Fernando as a great teacher for his son. And he has even joked about it on some of the radio clips I had heard as well.

Here are the current odds of the Miami GP before any of the practice and qualification races have begun:

Thank you rdbase. And yeah I have also heard such news about Barcelona. But they are really full of very skilled youngsters like him. It would be pretty assertive to call him "the next Messi" in my opinion. Because players like Messi aren't seen very often in football as they become legends later. We had better see his performance in the long term first but I'm still curious about Lamine Yamal of course.  Grin

He is the youngest player (15) to have his first official game in Barcelona history if I'm not mistaken. I have heard that he directly wanted a new contract from his team after his first appearance.  Grin  People have been saying the same thing for a while like Fati also resembles Messi but I still haven't seen such development yet.
Too true ILuckyGuyI.
Where do you see Messi going after this summer transfer window? Think Sportsbet had a special promo for where most see him going.

A good question.

For now it is really difficult to predict his next team. But one thing seems certain that he doesn't think of leaving Europe yet. This must have dashed some Saudi Arabian teams' hopes. Because I have heard Al Hilal team to has made a huge offer for him already like €400m per year. Fabrizio Romano stated that it was a month ago.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1653802808687177729?s=20

PSG punished Messi for 2 weeks after his leaving the camp by not asking for permission. Things have got heated between two sides and I don't think Messi's first option will be PSG at the moment. He would hope for a contract offer by Barcelona first. I'm pretty sure that Barcelona would definitely sign him back unless there is a hindrance.
I had actually seen him giving those vibes of moving to a Saudi Arabian squad as well.
Just from that one instagram post by Messi saying "I didn't know Saudi Arabia can be so green!" with a picture of what looked like an Oasis in the middle of the desert. It was mostly green lush grass with alot of palm trees.

Anyhow, we all have to wait until around June or July to find out what he plans to do with the rest of his career.

So Manchester City secured another 3 points to be on top of the table once more.
They are now suddenly talking about them taking the treble trophy this season.

Amazingly enough Blast.Tv will still be commencing with the challengers stage next week.
https://www.hltv.org/events/6794/blasttv-
Since this part of it is done online.

Not to sure if the major event will still be taking place with all that is transpiring in France right now.
Many are saying right now it's at a level of calling it the French Revolution 2.0 - Police riot squads are getting molitov cocktail bottles thrown on them in the streets making it look like a round out of Counterstike.
Pure khaos going on in Paris for awhile now.

Nice betslips for those esport leagues @jakelyson & @boltz !

Nothing too much happening worth mentioning about in Counterstrike when it comes to tournaments as we are all waiting for the major in Paris later in the month and beginning in June.
So thought I would show a video I found late last week on Source 2.

Forgot to check for specials yesterday as it was actually a pretty big game and I saw at least the Jesus one and Arsenal win + BTTS both hit, did anyone bring home magic winnings from that??
After a big win some time back I have been making not-good picks and even winning back some insurance but losing that as well.
Now it is time to re-reset and go back to either singles or smaller multis, or stick to Arsenal specials to win back things.
I'll post back here if I win my most recent insurance freebet, if not, wait for another big odds single Wink
Thought atleast five of those hit but after checking the stats on the match, there were a total of 9 corners (7 for Arsenal - 2 for Chelsea) so the one with over 2.5 Arsenal goals+win/Gabriel Jesus to score+ Arsenal win/Over 7.5 corners+Arsenal win manage to land and the one you mentioned with BTTS also did squeak by with a Chelsea goal which they struggled to even get.

Will be placing bets on the UFC and F1 this weekend so have been saving up for those two major sporting events to kick off the Spring in the sporting world nicely this weekend.
If not too familiar with the UFC then you might want to check out the thread that is dedicated to Sportsbet.io before the weigh-ins and press conference for UFC 288 begin tomorrow:

Nice to see the odds are higher for the champion as that was my pick for this UFC event.
Haven't even checked the odds yet since I am still reeling over the last UFC fight night with Song Yadong knockout of Ricky.

Who said this Abzerbaijan main race was kind of static and nothing really different happened during the race.
It was.

They canceled the old F1 cars with an epic battle between Mercedes and RBR with the excuse "we will create new cars where it will be easier to follow and surpass"

Result?
After 1 year in Baku with 70% of the open engine, faster cars with new tires were able to overtake people with 50 laps old seconds, slower per lap.
MattP1Tommy those F1 Heads said the exact same thing actually: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Ou4nTG3dXug
It did have it's moments to be honest.
There were some onboard footage when Hamilton overtook several drivers which was nice to look at.
Only a 1 minute clip of the 12:47 minute video from the Official F1 youtube channel put up a few hours ago on their main page.

It was more like a primer for the FIA then and some extra footage for the DTS series for next season.
Fair enough. Wink

Didn't know how I would of feel about Aljamain Sterling vs Henry Cejudo when I first heard about this back in February.
Triple C as they call him has been out of the ring for so long you would think he was not going to fight anymore after this.
But instead of taking a sabbatical, it seems he has been training from all the media he has been putting out on his socials.
This is one thing he is well known for since seeing him podcasting from his car while driving around and just talking to his followers.

Here is a brief history of what had happened during those three years off for Cejudo:
"After losing to Demetrious Johnson for the UFC flyweight title in 2016, Cejudo won the rematch in 2018. In 2019, the 2008 Olympic gold medalist won the UFC bantamweight title, earning "champ-champ" status. After beating Dominick Cruz in May 2020, Cejudo retired from MMA to focus on his family."
source: https://www.sportingnews.com/ca/mma/news/ufc-288-date-time-odds-price-aljamain-sterling-vs-henry-cejudo/tsgbbminmhcqjv2dd7ajbd2w

While the current active champion of the division has been knocking people out!
"Sterling joined the UFC in 2014 and is 14-3 with the promotion. Beating Petr Yan via DQ in 2021 to win the UFC bantamweight title, he beat Yan in a rematch to secure his status as champion. Funk Master’s last fight was a TKO win against an injured T.J. Dillashaw at UFC 280 in October."

-snipped-
I was searching Netflix to watch something and I stumble seeing a title and it kind of reminded me of this forum, it was titled Formula 1: Drive to Survive it was by seasons and episodes and what I notice was an episode about Grosjean's Insane Fireball Crash that was on Season 3 it was a horrific accident in the history of F1 Racing and there is a miracle that happens with that Accident and Romain Grosjean, here is the Episodes summary on Youtube,

Yes it is a very well documented series for the F1 and they are on their fifth season as mentioned in this post back on the first day of the year!

Since they wrapped up filming of Drive to Survive season 5 on November 18th according to a tweet released by film makers of the series.
The new season should be released on March 5th and just in time for the start for the racing to begin:
https://theubj.com/entertainment/110156/when-will-netflix-release-formula-1-drive-to-survive-season-5

Still quite a wait for all of us F1 fans.

-snip-
Oh! That was a great series on Netflix and I think this is to promote the F1 industry to the viewers of Netflix and have many audiences interested in the sports, I think I will watch it now, and looking at Youtube there are tons of great episodes story about the risk drivers involve and in an instant can be their last, and Romain Grosjean is one lucky guy surviving that crash because many have doubted that he will not get out from the car alive, and it was really a terrible accident, and I have watched an Episodes on the Drama's inside the F1 Grand Prix and I manage to get this on youtube and it was on Season 4, this surely is great to gain more fans in the F1 community,

Top 6 Most Dramatic Moments In Formula 1:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjsueAZOvAE
It is still one of the reasons why so many people haven't cancelled their subscriptions to it yet waiting for their more well known series to start up again.
If you go back from the start of the first season you will see the more famous character of the show is Guenther Steiner the team principal from Team Haas.
You know the chap that is in the picture with Sportsbet.io's representative Steve, our very own from the forum a few pages back on this thread.

Djokovic's attitude is very irresponsible, he must take seriously and respect the laws of other countries and including his country, when countries say that people must be vaccinated then people must be vaccinated, rules are to be followed, laws are to be fulfilled, he is a professional athlete, he knows that it is forbidden to use drugs in order not to get tired easily, so he does not use drugs because he fears being penalized, so what makes him think that with vaccines he should be an exception? Where have you seen a country change the rule because of it and harm many people? that wouldn't be right, what kind of good example would come if they allowed him to play even without having vaccinated? that would be wrong, all people need to respect the rules even when they don't like it

Medvedev will play today and it doesn't look like it will be a difficult match for him yet, looking at the players who are in the same draw as Medvedev it looks like he is in an easier draw than Alcaraz, so the chances of seeing Medvedev in the final will be wide open.
The match between Medvedev and Shevchenko have moved to the third set. Many expected this to be an easy match for Medvedev, but It looks like third set result will be upon the time breaker. Shevchenko won the first set 6-4. Medvedev made a comeback in the second set and won the set 6-1. The match have moved to the deciding set.

First set of Lajovic vs Struff match moved to tie breaker and Lajovic wins 77-62. Possibly the match ends in the 2nd set.
Followed this match between Medvedev and Shevchenko while it was 1-5 in the first set. And some how he brought it all the back to 4-5 but lost.
Then the second set was all Daniil taking it convincingly. The third and final set was very rocky for the Russian as he went down 4-2 but took it 5-7.
So that makes it 8-0 for Medvedev when it comes to deciding sets to win the match so far this tennis season.
Remember he dropped 4 in a row last year when it took three sets to close it. This is a very bad record to hold of the 2022 season going 8-11.

...
Not easy at all for Medvedev.
He has conceded a couple of break points to Shevchenko, and he was also losing 4-2 (with Shevchenko serving ! ) but in the end he was able to win the third set for 7-5. Nice match, both players have played at high level, for sure Shevchenko has played at a great level today and was able to put the Russian player in trouble in many occasions.
Really disappointing the audience in my opinion. On several occasions in the first set they "booed" the Russian player...
He did have a Fortnite emote to perform for the crowd in Spain at the end after winning the match.
So he showed them with that Russian ballerina curtsy.

Well done rdbase for being the only guy to have faith in Leclerc, too bad he didn't go all the way Sad

About the race, i have to say, for me it ended be a really boring race, another procession, yes we have always that expectation of "anything can happen" or "look now Hamilton its on Sainz DRS zone" "now Alonso its more close to LEclrec", "Verstappen its gonna push in the final", but in the end were all a big WHAT IF?, WHAT IF a SF its deployed?, What if etc...

But no one happen and a boring race with ton of expectation.

I didn't watch it but I definitely agree there was too much hype for this. Supposedly street racing means all kinds of risk taking and speedy behavior but in the end more or less we see Ferrari disappointing and Red Bull conquering, the placement didn't really matter so much.

It could be unpopular to say but hard not to see Smiley
Leclerc got passed in the third lap by Verstappen. You can see it after every turn the Red Bull was much faster than the Ferrari no matter who was at the wheel. Of course DRS was also a determining factor for the advancement at the straight away.

@darxiaomi
Not all of it was so boring at the end. Do you recall what happened to Esteban Ocon while he was pitting on the final lap?

The stake odds for this game are 1.52 for the Knicks and 2.60 for the Heat, Right now Quentin Grimes and Julius Randle are doubtful if they can play for the Knicks and Julius Randle is out for the season, while Tyler Herro, can not play for the Heat, Bam Adebayo is doubtful and Victor Oladipo is now out for this season, for this game I think I can see that the Knicks is the favorite to win but Jimmy Butler is a different monster while pressured, for this game the truth is I really don't know who to choose, that is why I have gone to the best option going with the favorite, the New York Knicks,
Knicks is good and all but I believe that Heat will win again if Jimmy Butler ends up playing as well as he has so far. This is why I believe that we could see anything happen. Overall, Knicks is a better team for sure, I mean when you look at 5 positions, I would give 4 of them to Knicks, aside from Jimmy Butler who has played differently during this playoff period. After all it is going to be a tough one without a doubt.

The early games are a bit different as well, it is not the same thing at all, the regular times for them is a lot better for them. All in all I think the best thing to do for today is to stay away, we can see the games of each series and then we can make a decision based on that, doesn't make sense to take risks and put the first games as bets, just lets see how it will be.
This is what exactly happened today with the New York Knicks.
Julius Randle was sitting out and watching from the sidelines his team get beat by the Heat at home. It was really bad because they were leading by more than 12 in the first half at one point and then down to only 5 point lead by half time.
Then Miami turned on their playoff mode and it all collapsed for the Knicks.
They got smoked in the 3rd quarter and it just continued on from there.
To me Kyle Lowry is different in the post season since he was on the Raptors during their championship season, so he also has the experience with how the referee's call the games in the playoffs.
But it is only game 1 in the series, so it is not over yet and hopefully Randle can return in time before the next games are played this coming week.

Now it is Golden State's turn to see if they can win this and it is looking that way late into their 3rd quarter with a 12 point lead of their own.
Fox is already with 4 fouls so he left the quarter already.
It is looking like last year champions are wanting to retain their title with this performance they are putting on in this game 7.

Think the rest of the series leans in on can julius randle play effectively with his ankle issue and now that Jimmy rolled his ankle.  Can he play as effective.  If both can't I give the advantage to the Knicks.  Jimmy is that team.  Either way it's gonna be a good series.

As far as today's game I got the Champs and the moneyline.  I can't bet against steph even though the odds are stacked against them.
Me either. Stephen Curry already passed a long standing record with his first three pointers during the match.
Playoff Warriors once engaged are nearly impossible to count them out.
