1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: February 10, 2018, 05:46:27 AM
Hello guys!  Wink

Today I wanted to ask you, what do you think about airdrops?

As for me, I work in the KickCity project and recently we launched airdrop. I do really like the result! We have a lot of newcomers and new people who are interested in the company. If you want to join you can ask the team in the community https://t.me/kickcity_chat

SO  Shocked

Are you taking part in airdrops? Do you like the result? What is the feedback?
Or maybe you are working in a project launching airdrop?
Who dont like airdrops? Im sure no one would really reject or neglect these kind of opportunities on earning some free tokens with just a minimal task to be done.Might not be big but getting coins out of these good projects might give you profits or money soon depending on how this project would  progress. Airdrops is one of the common distributions just to increase tokens exposure and its existence.
1422  Economy / Economics / Re: Nothing is dying except the illusion of easy seemless riches. on: February 08, 2018, 08:02:58 PM
"Bitcoin is down, crypto is down, everything is down, this is the end, crypto and bitcoin are dead."

How often have you read the above in the last weeks? Let's look at some things in a bit more context here to really understand things. 3 months ago, bitcoin price was around exactly the price we're at today. A year ago it was at about 1k, that's a 600% increase since then. All this crash/correction has shown is that nothing can rise indefinitely and at an ever increasing pace.

Take a step back people and think about things logically, nothing else in the world would offer the same ROI that crypto has for the last year, do not let your greed blind you, the illusion that you could invest and the price would continue to rise without any resistance is dead but crypto is not.
This is a common mindset for those people who do just jumped in into crypto and put some money and wait up for them to get rich without even knowing on how volatile is the market and suddenly the price crash that they didn't even expect for it to happen then they do say things "bitcoins or crypto is dead" without even thinking and seeing past prices on the coins they had invested to.
1423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware of scammers on: February 07, 2018, 11:46:34 PM
this is like a slack case a few months ago, they can access our wallet by inserting a fishing link. very dangerous.
This is a new motive unless the bounty manager asks for a payment.
it may be accountable.
Its not new anymore about slack phishing links which this issue been busted for last year as far as I remember which this lead up on losing lots of money because people are too careless on putting up informations or sending out in wrong address on the funds should be putted on ICO investment this is why most projects as of now are preferring on using up other medium when it comes to communication.
1424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What usually happens to the price of a given crypto coin once the airdrop ends? on: February 07, 2018, 11:09:39 PM
I am interested in hearing what happens once airdrop ends? I have been HODLing and staking Deeponion for quite some time, but I am not sure what will happen with the price once the airdrop ends.. Does any of you have any examples from similar coins?
Deep Onion? It do already have a price you can see it here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deeponion/  and you can find out the exchanges on where you can able to sell it off. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deeponion/#markets .For other airdropped coins theres no sure if they would able to hit up on exchanges it would be depending on the team if they would push it to be listed or not.
1425  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Watch out for the scams out there on: February 07, 2018, 09:39:57 PM
Look out for the people who arent willing to do escrow. Their will be guys coming on here promising you any gift card but you first must send them money. First sign is low posting number. There is a lot of signs showing someone may be a scam.
Well using an escrow when dealing of something here is a must if you don't want to be a victim of scamming. However that still depends on your discretion, there are users who easily trust someone and don't think what might happen afterwards unless that particular user that you're dealing with is a green trusted and a higher rank member its an exception for me.

That's im not joining to an any link/website given by them because i don't want my money will loss.
Yes its better to be careful especially nowadays many people are expert in stealing the money of others.

Not only that because scammers as of today tends to become more smarter and smarter on finding ways on deceiving people just to scam money out of them and as a investor or any transactions online we should really be vigilant on possible ways for them to set in. Never ever give them opportunity to scam us and there are lots of ways to avoid and we should really be sensible in our actions.
1426  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the Wall Street fat boys kill Bitcoin profits? on: February 07, 2018, 07:40:38 PM
I have read some posts and comments by senior members related on how the futures on Bitcoin are controlling the whole crypto-currencies market. Do you understand the effects? What your view?
The wall street investment will have a definite impact in the price of bitcoin on how much it can go higher and expect the fall to be harder and since majority of the investors are big time whales ,it is not an big issue for them to control the direction of the market and there will be profit booking that could dent the market ,anything is possible with them, hope that the coins are well distributed and let there be a time when no one could manipulate the market.
Hoping for avoiding market manipulation wont work anytime since its really possible for bitcoin to be manipulated once big players would able to join in specially into those wallet street boys that do have really fat wallets. People can freely buy on what they want and accumulate bitcoin as much as they want since they do have the capability on such thing this is why its normal to think that price manipulation or market movement is really there.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: February 06, 2018, 04:58:14 PM
for those who buy lower price then they are happy and excited to get their profit if bitcoin is increasing, and for those who are holders not really happy, like me I already bought bitcoin around $10,000 its long to get profit but its ok still holding and hoping.
$10k is not really far away for you to break even on bitcoins price. If you did just buy on dips lets say on $6k price then average purchase price would really be lesser and lesser but well not all people do have the enough funds to invest even more on such dip of price. As of now we are seeing price tends to rise up gradually which I do presume the reversal would happen for sure.
1428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is your trading strategy now?is holding the only thing we can do? on: February 06, 2018, 03:19:38 PM
ofcourse i dont expect you to reveal every thing but what i am asking is what exactly is your mentality since numerous cryptos are falling by 50%.
i am in a fix here,i though holding would be the best option but seeing this freefall my mind is not at peace.
what approach are you taking?

I didn't upset about that falling of btc and other crypto as well.  I just have strong believe to recover it soon. Now my approach will be to buy bitcoin and some altocoin in cheap price. I just wanna tell you be patience and keep peace it will turn up for sure. I can suggest you to start buy some good coin cheaply and it will make you recover soon if you are in loss.
This should really be done instead of worrying too much on the price decrease on whats happening now on the market. This is the only thing we can do now which is to hold up on the coins we are owning. If we do believe on its potential then its wise to hold it up rather than on selling it or cutting loss because you do panic that the price might go even more lower which is really an impossible thing to happen on a short span for time.
1429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price fall after ICO on: February 06, 2018, 02:17:02 PM
Yes token price falls after ICO what is the cause for this fall. I but iungo $1 during ICO but the price has fall to 0.50 why all this happened?
Several factors which investors took their profits when tokens hits ICO prices on exchange and most of them are those who bought on pre-sale value which means they are still on profits even they would sell early on ico price and also we should mind on those bounty hunters too that do receive free tokens which most of them do really sell out fast for securing free money out of those free tokens.
1430  Economy / Economics / Re: New reason for the decline - it is not only in crypto world right now. on: February 06, 2018, 12:16:09 PM
This seriously is my first time praying DOW doesn't do this worse.

Real world financial situation will no doubt affect crytocurrency market, since the correlation between two markets are getting real close now. Indeed many has investments in both market anyway.

Now wish everything will set to its correction & goes stronger
We cant be sure if they are really correlated to each other but as on the current situation on both markets are heading the same way then we can presume that they do really connected. However these kind of price declines or crashes can really happen anytime and as an investor or marketplayer. Worrying isn't really a new thing which would result into panic and presuming things that might not able to recover up.Always remember trend doesn't really goes this way forever. Sooner or later there would be recovery.
1431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is this legit or scam? on: February 05, 2018, 10:21:00 PM
I found this website and they have got good offers but is it scam or legit? Huh Huh website called homemining
there is a link to the website:
http://homemining.online/
Actually, cloud mining site alwaus say they have a good offer, who would say that they have bad offers? of course nothing right?, they say everything good to victimize you. I advise you that it's better to join the twitter campaign or perhaps to make your rank high such as jr member and above and apply to a signature campaign at least you are sure you will earn this way.

Your beating the dead horse mate can't you see the date OP posted this one? Maybe you should try to find relevant ones since its very obvious that you are stretching up your post count and this kind of post will became invalid and might you will get in trouble with it since many people don't really like those members who post an unrelevant one just for the sake of their pay per post sigs..
People do love necroposting without even seeing on the date on when OP did make such post and just tried to reply as long he can able to add up post counts. We have known before that most cloud mining are scams and theres no need to repeat this issue all over again and again.
1432  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit on: February 05, 2018, 09:17:26 PM
Merit was made to determine one's post quality.
If someone buys and sells merit it means that he abuses the system.
I can guess that Merit trading is forbidden and those who try to trade Merit will probably get their thread to be deleted.

Merit also very helpful as it gives users the option to thank other users for their posts.
An ability that wasn't available before.
It can really be treated or act on different way which merits can be used also as a show of appreciation among other user not only on post quality for sure. Abusing the system is the thing that cant really be avoided because there are people who do really make some advantage for the sake of leveling up but well theres no worries since theres always an eye for these kind of trading behavior. They would really be tagged as long they are caught on abusing this new system.
1433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to crypto trading on: February 05, 2018, 10:09:10 AM
Hello! I'm new here in the forum but not new about trading at all. I came from sports trading where i had some really good profit, but unfortunately it has been banned in my country so i found this cryptocurrency trading thing and it really caught my attention. I believe here have all the information i need to get more into touch, but there are so many topics and i would need to spend days to read them all. Can you please give me some good key topics that are a must read?
Thanks!
Reading up all of those topics might be boring but would really be essential for you to learn and I'm sure with that since these are the things I have done when I do still tried to learn up new things. Just skip on those things which you do read that you found it repetitive. If you still seek out for more informations then you can search up on google for more informations or sources and even on youtube there are lots of things regarding on this stuff.
1434  Economy / Economics / Re: when you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump! on: February 03, 2018, 09:12:32 PM
Many of us here are saying, why is the cryptocurrencies market is getting a dump these days. Some are saying is because of the FuD, others are saying it is because of regulations laws in south Korea and India which is also child of FUD. But did you know that  when ever you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump and you are also attacking the blockchain technology!
You are indeed contributing on the dump and this emotion would pass up into the community specially when backed up with some regulatory news and Fuds then we should really expect on what would be the outcome and as a part of investor or people who do involve on crypto if we do made such panic actions we are really been part of the dump and we cant really avoid this thing since there are really people who do have weak hands and being too emotional.
1435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the bitcoin will reduce to what value? on: February 03, 2018, 07:35:36 PM
i thinks it will go down to 5k but then will go up to 11-12 k this year. its even possible that bitcoin can go down to 2k?
If we do base on technical analysis then those numbers cant be reach since theres a strong support level can be seen on 8k price and it did really bounce off and didn't break that support. We are not currently seeing bitcoins price tends to rise up again and now as of writing we are hovering 9319 usd on preev.com.It might be a pullback and price might still go down low again. We wont know since this market is very unpredictable.
1436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top reasons that leads to fail in trading on: February 02, 2018, 09:20:17 PM

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Diversity. Diversify your investments so if one falls, other investment may help you to recover.
I believe in that saying don't put all your eggs in one basket,  once that saying apply to your self if your investment falls accept the truth that your money will gone. Need to devide the capital so that if the one fall you have not lose your money there is another one to recover.
This should really be done always on where we should allocate our funds into different potential coins rather than on going all in into single one because chances or risk of getting wrecked is less since you have diversified out your investment which means if one failed you then you do still have the chance for recovery which is good not like on having a single its like a gamble. It might give you some good returns or profits if it rise or succeed or total fail when it goes to opposite way.
1437  Economy / Economics / Re: Inheriting Cryptos on: February 02, 2018, 08:35:37 PM
I personally handle this myself, I have told my 9th grade kid to learn crypto because I gave him some coins already in his laptop wallet. I will probably give him the access to my email incase I feel like I'm dying already. If even I can't then the tokens I got are all gone too, most of the tokens I got are on MEW. I cna't give  the info to a lawyer or he could fuck me.
Anyone could really fuck us up when they know they do have the access to those funds specially when they saw it is already a big amount then temptation to theft would be there so its not appropriate to trust someone rather than on your family itself. Even I would really have the plan to teach one of the members of my family regarding on my involvement to cryptocurrencies which I do give him the idea on how to access those once I died. We wont know on when we will be gone this is why its important to teach him as soon as possible and don't wait for the situation where you do only tell when you are dying. This is a good idea but we wont know on how we gonna die. Either on slow or instant process.
1438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Valentine's Day affect BTC? on: February 01, 2018, 10:32:03 PM
I'm really curious if market pump celebrations affect BatC and how?❤❤❤
Market pump?I don't think so since this is just a non major holiday where I cant see a reason why would be the price will be affected on it. As we all know price being affected due to supply and demand and occasions like these might be just an add up but not fully an indication that these would really affect price movements. For some occasion like news then its possible.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: tokens listed on exchanges after ICO on: February 01, 2018, 09:45:27 PM
Hi, I'm a newbie in the crypto world...

I was wondering, when buying tokens on ICO, is there any 'guarantee' that the token will be listed on an exchange? In other words - how can one know for sure that an ICO token/coin will be included on an exchange after the ICO is finished?

I think that there is no guarantee, especially 100 %. You would have to believe the team when it's known people for whom reputation is important the risk will be lower. The only way this is a very serious approach to the choice of the ICO project. Sometimes recognize Scam very difficult.
This is why its always been important to recognized or search up the team behind that particular coin before investing because we aren't sure if those coins would be listed or not. Tokens to be listed on exchange would be entirely dependent on the team if they would decide to list it up or not.For reputable developers they wont really risk out their reputation on such situation.
1440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best indicators for altcoin trading on: February 01, 2018, 08:28:40 PM

I am doing trading with altcoin from last six months but not able to make good profit.
Can any anyone please tell me the best indicators for altcoin trading for both short term and long term trading?
If you are a newbie then you should not focus on both things either short or long term tradin. This would really  confuse you or stress out yourself. Its not advisable to go directly with short term trading since this is really a very a hard thing to do specially to newbies. 6 months is quiet a long journey on doing trading and you aren't still making any profits which is somehow impossible but well to believe and asking about indicators then I do usually rely on them but somehow I do make use on some like trend lines, support and resistance levels, stochastic, divergence.
