Good point, but because of the system you created
I didn't create this system.

There's no one who escrows bitcointalk accounts without tagging them.. there is no security between myself and the buyer that my account won't be tagged...
There's this: SebastianJu accepts transaction buying/selling bitcointalk accounts. I don't know if he still does it though.

Bumping (pun intended) with a request:
The same should apply to the whole Marketplace board.
14205  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lols601 and Storm66 are abusing forum rules and bumping their threads more.. on: August 01, 2020, 07:17:48 AM
So I archived their threads to see if they somehow delete their posts made on same day and then they repost to get their thread back to top again.
Cases like this is why I made LoyceV's Topic Details: highlight deleted and edited posts (forum wide).

See: https://loyce.club/archive/details/topic_5253194.html
Unfortunately, I don't show the post date on this overview, but you can see the date for each post by clicking the "unedited backup", or for all posts at once if you click "more".

See: https://loyce.club/archive/details/topic_5259097.html

Just report his thread and explain what they are doing. They will be banned for that.
Or move this topic to Meta Smiley
I've reported both topics with my "topic details" link as evidence. I'll update this post with the report status later.
Update: both reports marked as "Good". Global Mod posted in both topics:
Please only bump your thread once every 24 hours.
And 25 minutes later both spammers bumped their topic:
bump
Let's report them again Cheesy

Judging by their bump times, I have no doubt both accounts are owned by the same user. I've left neutral feedback.

With 500+ DT-members, there's probably someone who thinks he deserves a tag. I don't tag users for this.

14210  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: July 31, 2020, 11:35:07 AM
I need help regarding with my session.
It's best to email chipmixer@protonmail.com (it's a good precaution never to trust third parties (such as me), always verify the email address on the actual website).

for ex.  when i need it on an other wallet to gather funds,  then should i  sweep or to just send the keys to the other wallet

just the option which gains more privacy preferentially in relation to funded coins which comes from chipmixer.
Each new wallet means an additional risk of compromising private keys. I would only import private keys when I'm ready to use them.
14211  Economy / Reputation / Re: Zazarb unreasonable and greedy. on: July 31, 2020, 09:13:23 AM
@andulolika: from your OP, I have no idea what this is all about. Why don't you post a complete story, with all relevant information (and links to back it up) at once?

He lended me around 60 clams in one of our fast deals, my life went into a twist and I couldn't repay him for.. well 3 years? I repaid him 3 times the initial amount of clams in btc.
That must have been one hell of a "twist", if it took you 3 years. Did you discuss about paying back in Bitcoin instead of in Clams? Otherwise it doesn't make sense to use a different currency.

After all this he told me I'm fucked, burned, or well say i bite my own tail and bringed up user id 51 from just-dice i had offered him as collateral long ago but i'm certain this wasn't the case there was no collateral on this one as far as i remember, in any case, during these 3 years i never ceased contact and might of said I would give it IF I DON'T REPAY thing I actually did but I'm not even certain of this one.
How can this even be one sentence? You make it really hard to understand.

Clams has $21.68 USD Volume (24h) on Coinmarketcap. It only shows trades on scam-exchange YoBit. I'd say Clams is pretty much dead, like most shitcoins. So if you're going to pay back in Bitcoin, maybe you should use the exchange rate at the time you borrowed the Clams (plus interest).

You corner cocksucker keep puking words the way you can, it's funnier the hassle for that dust.

I has more grounds than your stupid eyes can see.
Lol, again: you make it very hard to get to the bottom of your story. I sense some anger, but it helps to stay on topic.

He also tried claiming he could of sold the clams for a ridiculous amount of btc at a spike, he had plenty of commissioned clams.
That sounds plausible after a short-term loan. It also sounds plausible he couldn't sell it when you didn't return it on time.

then he started attacking me with personal messages and neg feedbacks
Leaving negative feedback (by the borrower) after being 3 years late is a bit .... weird.

You perhaps made hundreds of commissioned clams  which you could of sold on that spike and certainly you were holding more
This has nothing to do with your loan.

Quote
i had to leave my 2300 a month job and the country
This has nothing to do with zazarb.

Quote
and you care about fucking dust you made in a good day of loans.
Zazarb's other business has nothing do do with you (or your loan).

Quote
And check the fucking actual market of the coin at XCHANGE not coinmarketcap.
I've never heard of "xchange", CMC is more or less the industry standard.

I see the proof here in this thread that the OP is childish and immature.
Confirmed!

Isn't it a fact though that if you borrow a certain coin from someone , in this case 60 clams , you need to return 60 clams aswell ? regardless of price going up or down ? or was the deal made to borrow the coins but deal would be at usd value ?
I've seen Clams, Bitcoins and US dollars dragged into this. If you search far enough, you'll always find a coin that was worth a lot back then and worthless now.
I'm tend to agree with zazarb on this:
Clam is at 60 cents, 100$ will arrive soon enough, sorry for the delay and everything, thanks a lot for all the loans you done to me Smiley.
As I told you in previous message, in 2017 loan amount of 60 CLAM was worth around 0.06BTC(as I multiple time was declare that me not interested fiat equivalent)
So after 3 years of delay, you return  me 0.01BTC?!. I don't think that's fair...

14213  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Topic Details: highlight deleted and edited posts (forum wide) on: July 31, 2020, 06:34:59 AM
Hm, it might be useful to note the board.
It's too late for that, unless I re-scrape all topics everything, and I don't really want to do that.

Quote
Now I wonder about how the archive tool behaves on moved (and trash-canned) threads, redirection messages and the likes.
Moving to a different board doesn't change the topicID, and I search everything based on the topicID. If the topic gets deleted, my details still work on the original topicID.
I'm not sure if Mods can merge or split topics, but that would mess it up.

There's very short so very fast. I've added a "1" behind your prefix to make it stand out more:

14215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [JULY 2020] Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs! on: July 30, 2020, 08:21:36 AM
I would be really grateful if someone would explain how fee and transaction time are calculated.
You can't calculate the transaction time. That's because the fee estimate is based on past transactions, and the actual confirmation time will depend on future transactions and future block times.
So the best you can do is an estimate, and if things change (for instance when it takes longer to find the next block), your estimate was wrong.

Quote
For example how he calculated recommended amount here ? Or how can I calculate approximate transaction time using https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,24h with this recommended 34 sat fee ?
Don't forget that the recommended fee is usually based on getting a fast confirmation, which often isn't necessary. If all wallets do that, all you accomplish is ever increasing fees when blocks are full. Based on Johoe's current overview, I expect 15 sat/byte to confirm quite fast. 10 sat/byte might take a few hours. But if the next block takes an hour, 40 sat/byte might not be enough to get in there.

Quote
If I send bitcoin at 08:00, and wish to receive it on other address at 08:00 next day, which amount of Satoshi per byte should I use?
It doesn't work that way. You can use Locktime to create a transaction that can't be confirmed before a certain time/date/block, but that means you'll have to broadcast it the next day.
I can't think of a single use for what you're asking though, usually it's not a problem if someone gets paid a few hours before expecting the payment.
14216  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Topic Details: highlight deleted and edited posts (forum wide) on: July 30, 2020, 08:10:09 AM
There are two types of edit. One is a change to the text because the poster made a typo, or posted the wrong info. The other edit is an addition to a post, and this is something I do. Your post may be the last in a thread, and you may want to add additional information without creating a series of posts by a single member. It would be interesting to be able to find these posts. Maybe we could tag them to make them easier to list. Tags such as [UPDATE] or [ADDITION] could be used.
I won't even try to automate detecting the difference, but it happens a lot indeed. People adding a comma or fixing a typo. Those can easily be spotted by comparing the old and new backup, and those cases are not the reason I created this topic.

Quote
Another advantage of this is that such threads would not be bumped, but an alert would allow interested readers to find them.
If the last post in a topic gets edited after I've read it, it shows as new on the board overview. But it doesn't show as new on the Watchlist. That could be a good feature to add to the forum.
14217  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Error Page on: July 30, 2020, 07:43:09 AM
can member login the same time with 2-3 different address?
Yes, but I don't think that causes the overload-error.

Quote
maybe someone out there has accessed my account while I am logged in.
See https://bitcointalk.org/myips.php, and change your password if someone else has had acccess. There have been cases where accounts were compromised, but the attacker only used it to send PMs. None of that has anything to do with error 503 though.
14218  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: July 30, 2020, 07:06:18 AM
If I Destroy my session, then restore that session in another browser, I get the same deposit address. Is that the intended behaviour?
If you destroy the session (at step 4 you confirm you want to destroy it) - it is impossible to get same deposit address when you restore session with session token. You will get new session with same token but different deposit address and no history. If that is not true - please send us more info by email.
I can't reproduce it anymore, so all good.
14219  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Topic Details: highlight deleted and edited posts (forum wide) on: July 30, 2020, 06:56:08 AM
~snip link to prevent it from archiving again~
My "later backups" ended here. That's because I haven't processed all data yet, but I should have it archived already. If you're looking for an older post that was deleted recently, you can try again later. I need some time to finalize this data.

Can this be used to see if a thread was moved to a different board?
No, I don't keep track of boards. The thread you requested was on the Reputation board when I first saw it.
14220  Other / Meta / Re: VOD should be removed from default trust for systematic abuse of his position on: July 30, 2020, 06:47:37 AM
OK - new information.  I claim you don't need to trust someone that sends to you first.  Do you disagree?
I agree. But I don't agree that it deserves negative feedback.

Positive (shown as +1)
  • If you made a small deal with someone, that doesn't deserve positive feedback.
  • If you made a deal in which you risked a substantial amount of money with someone, and all went well, that deserves positive feedback.
  • If someone is a nice guy (or girl), that doesn't deserve positive feedback.
  • If you believe someone can be trusted, even when you didn't trade with him, that too deserves positive feedback.

Neutral (shown as =1)
  • Use Neutral feedback for anything that doesn't mean someone can or can't be trusted. This can be good feedback, for instance when someone helped you out.
  • I think Neutral Feedback is currently undervalued on Bitcointalk. It's a great tool to de-escalate without drastic consequences. Please use it when appropriate.

Negative (shown as -1)
  • If you believe someone is a scammer, or someone is likely to scam, that deserves negative feedback. Please provide evidence.
  • If you really hate someone and he's a terrible troll, that does not deserve negative feedback.

Aside from neutral feedback, I also think the Ignore button is highly undervalued. Life's too short to argue with people you don't like Smiley
