1441  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Nickel 1 LTC Lealana Singles. FUNDED on: January 25, 2015, 12:16:37 PM
Are these the Series 1 holograms? Funded by smoothie/Lealana and not the Buyer Funded model?

Going to PM an offer on a few of them after this post.

Thanks

I was also wondering (not that it matter too much for this coin imo) if the coins are funded by smoothie himself, or you have funded them before shipping?
1442  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Formal naming convention for physical crypto coins on: January 25, 2015, 08:48:55 AM
As this is a suggestion for a formal convention, I suggest the following corrections:

The way the metal of the coin is specified needs to be more consistent:

1btc Coin, S2, 2013
1btc Silver Coin, S3, 2013

...

0.1btc Brass Coin, S2, 2013
0.1btc Silver Coin, S2, 2013

The brass material is "Coin" for CASASCIUS and "Brass coin" for LEALANA.
My opinion is to either include the material or not, but it must be consistent.

The placement special attributes (nick names) also needs to be more consistent:
1btc ‘First Bits Error’ Coin, S1, 2011
5btc Coin, S2, 2012 ‘Bitnickel’

In the 1 BTC is the special attribute the 2nd paramenter, while for the 5 BTC is it the last.
My personal opinion is that all "nicknames" should go last.

The face value should be either "1 BTC" with capital letters and a space, or "BTC1".
My opinion is to use "1 BTC".

My apologies for this as I have no control over the forum going up and down and some have had trouble getting a bid in due to the forum being down twice in the last few days.

No need to apologizes, its not your fault.

Good luck to everybody and happy bidding Smiley

coinify.com
They are located in Denmark and is reliable (I have used them many times without problems).
I would not trust them with large amounts though, since because it is basically a merge company between bitcoin nordic and BIPS.. no need to comment on BIPS  Roll Eyes

@smoothie
I was wondering if you have plans for releasing a new bitcoin series at some point?
Or perhaps some kind of special edition coin?

Aloha Smiley

1450  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 🌟 TRADE Your Physical Cryptos HERE 🌟 on: January 23, 2015, 08:06:04 PM
Looking to trade:

1 Casascius bearer bar in original wrap

for

loaded Lealana 25LTC piece (non-buyer funded) + 2 0.1 lealana brass tenth loaded (non-buyer funded)

negotiable of course.

Is a loaded Lealana coin really worth less than an unloaded Casascius bearer bar?

Well, when I put up offers like these I usually push my luck a bit. But some of these go for 400$ on ebay, and around 1.8BTC here. And I'd say the price of a 25LTC would be 1.1 - 1.2BTC or so. I guess I could be wrong about the 25LTC price, but LTC itself has gone down significantly.

Just want to add, that the 25 LTC is relative rare (less than 500 I belive?) and in my opinion the most beautiful of all the Lealana coins, 1.1-1.2 is definitely realistic, would even consider buying it from you Wink
1451  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2014 Casascius St. Petersburg Bowl Bitcoin Coin on: January 23, 2015, 11:06:43 AM
I feel you guys. I ordered mine on the 4th of January and it's still not shipped. The two weeks have already passed and I think that this is ridiculous. Even Chinese ship stuff faster (within 10 business days and 70% of the time it's after 1 business day).

4th Jan.. pffft
I ordered the 24th Dec 2014, no sign of the coins yet, the order is stated as complete, but no tracking has been provided, so I have no idea where my coins are.

Finally got my coins!

Not that this is going to happen but if the forum is down close to noon Jan 24, 2015 Hawaiian Standard Time I will extend this auction only by at most a few hours.

This is assuming the forum is down completely and I can as well as other multiple parties including moderators or forum admin(s) confirm this down time.

The current end time is still in effect so if you want to bid now is the time to bid.

Aloha

Smoothie

Thanks for clarifying this out in advance Smiley

Shipping from northern Italy with UPS insured. You should get it in 2-5 days depending on your location.

Pretty awesome coin you have there.
I am in the market for gold right now, actually thinking about picking up some 2015 Panda's this week.
But this item is also tempting...
