I agree that on average, it’s more financially efficient to buy singles on eBay. That’s true for almost all baseball cards, not just this Cryptocurrency #83. However, after all the other Ginter X cases have been opened and the 1/1 silver mini, the few remaining /5 red minis, the remaining /? Glow-in-the-Dark minis, the rest of the /25 Brooklyn back minis, and all the remaining /50 black minis are still missing in the wild somewhere, then my sealed Ginter X case will be worth a small fortune! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha! Regards, Me It already is, you are sitting on a goldmine if your hold onto it.

As time goes on, the very rare cryptocurrency black mini will be extremely sought after, but if it is graded a PSA 10 the price goes up drastically. The reason I only mention the black mini is that it tends to slightly chip along the edges and can be seen quite easily . There arn't enough red or silver mini's out there to be concerned about grades. There are only three red mini's and one silver remaining. I hope I find the silver mini as it is a priceless card. No doubt the next red mini that shows up is going to price way up there. I think 1/5 2/5 and 3/5 still remain out there in the red mini. What boxes can these rarities be found in?? Found only in 2018 Allen & Ginter X. Not to be confused with the first issue 2018 Allen & Ginter. The X boxes have become very expensive when you can find one for sale. Odds on finding a cryptocurrency mini is very slim, I have opened cases without luck. There are a couple black mini's for sale on ebay but, the latest one has a small white area showing on the left border and it looks like a few on the right. I doubt it would grade a psa 10 and that's what you want. Price difference from a 9 to a 10 on rare cards is huge, not as important on the common cards. In my opinion a black mini graded #83 PSA 10 should fetch around 1000.00 and who knows a year from now. Hope this helps

With all the missing red (/5), silver (/1), Brooklyn (/25), glow-in-the-dark (/?), and NNO (/?) Cryptocurrency cards as well as the black mini X cards, those sealed Ginter X boxes willl be worth a small fortune someday. What do you think, dolphriends or Mrstacy?
Regards, Chris
Don't be fooled, it is cheaper to buy card you want. Look at odds on page 1 of this thread. 70 dollar boxes are 185 on Ebay. Way too much. To put odds in your favor for black mini, you need 9 boxes at a cost of 1665. That gives you a 51 percent chance for black mini when you can buy one for 600. But.. you might get a. Ohtani printing plate. Lol True, but in addition to the chance of pulling either a full size black or a mini black Cryptocurrency card, you'll also have an opportunity to pull a mini red (/5), mini silver (/1), mini Brooklyn (/25), mini glow-in-the-dark (/?), and mini NNO (/?) Cryptocurrency card. And that's not including any of the same variations of the Solar Eclipse, Marine National Monument, Bomb Cyclone, Bullpen Car, or whatever other cards people are into right now. For $185, it might be worth a shot. Who knows? Just a thought. Where can I get a ginter x box for 185.00, always looking for a great buy Regards, Chris

Oh yea, I think this set is the most exciting since the 86' fleer basketball. One box can go for 10,000.00 so to put a few away is very smart.

@dolphriends where do you see prices for these crypto cards a year from now? Considering whether to hold long term or sell some of mine while interest is high.
Of course it is just an opinion but, I see the red mini #/5 @ 10,000.00 black mini @ 1500.00 brooklyn back 2500-3,000. printing plate 25,000.00 the common mini @100.00 . Any 1/1's will be super expensive like the blank back from the topps vault. I put a value on my other five favorite inserts @ 10% to 15% of the crypto card. The recent samesong park red mini went for 230.00 and the crypto red mini went for 2700.00 as an example of value comparison. If a red mini solar eclipse comes up for sale right now I think it will take 275.00 minimum to get it and maybe more. I often look at the pick your card sellers on ebay like the ginter black mini to see if they have one of my favorites and they are always sold out. Gives me a good indication of the popularity. This ginter x because it is so limited will always be a favorite and supply and demand is always in play It isn't just the crypto collector but, also the mainstream card collector that collects these.

I think the black mini's have all disappeared, I have been working on sets I can accomplish like the gold border, black border, and the black mini of my six favorite inserts. Not going to try for the red or silver mini unless I had the crypto #83 mini. At this point I think only a few owners of the red mini's have a shot at doing this. I doubt anyone has the silver mini of the crypto but, the red mini's are getting so expensive for these inserts and the crypto will be a fortune. Anyway that's my opinion.

I am looking for a RED Mini Eclipse, willing to trade a RED National Marine Monument...even up for it, Thanks!!! * If you can help me out, please private message me. That would be a fair trade straight across, both are rare and equally sought after. Best of luck

Even the base, A & G backs, black border, gold border, etc more common cards Bullpen Car, Marine National Monument, Eclipse, Cyclone Bomb, Samsung Park have all but disappeared. Perhaps it's because of the end of the season.... that $230.50 Mini X RED that sold the other day, pretty much proves that the sub-set IS IN FACT being heavily pursued.
Totally agree with fattcat, when I saw the #204 samesong stadium red mini go for 230.00. That pretty much tells the whole story.

Outside of those cards you mention, I know next to nothing about the others though as I don't follow baseball anymore really, but obviously the rookie cards etc. Regardless, I would like to find at least one or two glow in the darks of whatever type, or a few more NN's at least... Question - Are the "Brooklyn backs" (reddish ink) ONLY on signed minis? thanks No, take a look at the brooklyn backs I posted above.
