Galatasaray still seem to be interested in another centre-forward transfer at the moment. According to Transfermarkt there is a recent rumour that they are interested in Taremi and Marega. If they are looking for a backup scorer then Marega would be the best choice. Because Taremi is still a wonderful scorer like Icardi. I think that transfer might create a problem about playing time for both of them. Because both of them would like to be a starting eleven player considering their current quality.
Besides Taremi transfer would cost them really much. I think they should use their remaining budget to transfer players for other areas which are in need.
I would say Galatasaray needs centreback not forward. I was personally never fan of Abdülkadir Nelsson couple. They are above average for the league but sometimes they do miserable mistakes. Teams like Galatasaray should have near perfect defence lines. Galatasaray already has Icardi and Bakambu. Halil Dervişoğlu at bench etc. But what do they have in bench for defence? Only Kaan Ayhan. Not enough in my opinion. I agree with you about that. I don't think Abdülkerim is quality enough for the Champions League. Galatasaray would make use of a much more reliable defender in his place in especially those matches. In fact Davinson Sanchez was on the agenda for them to sign a short time ago. But there is still no update on that news. Instead of spending a lot of money for another centre-forward they should focus on bringing Sanchez to the team. He is a pretty good defender and quite young as well - 27 years old. They would make use of a quick defender as much as possible. It is important to deal with fast players wishing to make it to the box to create absolute goal chances. |

Galatasaray are still not ready for this season yet. This was why they struggled this much against Zalgiris in both legs. The match could have even continued with extra time as Zalgiris also found some significant chances to score. Especially Oyewusi's impressive dribbling all the way from their half to the opponent box was really dangerous. He didn't have good finishing skills and wasted it. It is still nice to see all the Turkish teams in European competitions are maintaining their run.
But especially Galatasaray will need to get ready for their next matchup against NK Olimpija Ljubljana much better than this.

 Inter are taking more serious steps for completing Scamacca transfer. He has been a big disappointment for West Ham so far. He was brought by big hopes and it was actually a quite cheap deal for a talented striker like him - 36m euros. But so far he couldn't score properly. He wasn't playing for a top team in the Serie A before either but he was still scoring many goals for Sassuolo. Considering his current value and what he has done so far I don't give any chance to West Ham about making any profit in his sale. I assume the agreement with Inter might be between 25-30m euros the most. |

From next season every late submission will be a straight 3-0 loss. I ask you, did you value all outcomes of late submissions the same way? I want to be treated the same way as everyone else. I was penalized and I support that. Now I want to be treated the same way for the round against LFC_Bitcoin, as it was applied to everyone else. I can't see how I am any different? In the previous round your opponent Pulsar77 was punished for sending the answers late in the same way. As far as I know these cup rules aren't applied for the first time. By the way if I don't see it wrong I think I have made it to the upper round because of my opponent's sending their answers late. |

Even though I was in the Bundesliga prediction pool for the first time last season I still finished it in a place that's not bad at all. I was very close to win a prize. Chelsea started to be interested in Vlahovic once again. There are still a few days to go for the last date Juventus have given for his sale - August 4. Chelsea had better act quick about it while there are still no offers coming from Real Madrid or PSG side for him. Juventus will go for Lukaku directly if Vlahovic is sold. I know that Lukaku's priority was Inter but there is no chance left to join them for him from now on. He should just act smart and sign for Juventus in this case.
Because clearly he doesn't have a future at Chelsea. The best thing to do is to return to Italy or sign for a Saudi team.

They are giving both of their drivers a chance to compete with each other. But Russell can't bring the competition to Hamilton now. Dembele still seems indecisive about leaving Barcelona now. PSG must have one day left to buy his release clause which is 50m euros. As of next month it is expected to go up to 100 million. In that case I don't think PSG would pay that much for him if Barcelona don't sell him below his release clause worth. PSG would look for someone else instead.
Dembele has only one year left at Barcelona. He will be available for a free transfer by January. Even if PSG can't sign him tomorrow they can still make this happen in January. It will be only up to the player's decision to go there or maybe extend with Barcelona for another year.
I think Dembele has stayed too long at Barcelona and it is time to find another challenge elsewhere before he starts losing his value gradually and one day will be forced to leave the club either as a free agent or will have his contract terminated. I think the offer from PSG is a good opportunity for him to take his career to a new level, playing in France shouldn’t be a problem for him because he is good and still has the energy and momentum to succeed there. He was actually a free agent some time ago but Barcelona decided to sign a new contract with him. Because Xavi was praising him all the time and he must have wanted this to happen undoubtedly. Galatasaray have really strengthened their squad even more for this season. They still continue to bring new players. They will surely be the number one contender for the title again. Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş will need to show some extra performance to try not to let them pull away from themselves easily. Having the best squad of the league doesn't guarantee the league championship in the end. But there is already a solid chemistry among most of the Galatasaray players of course.
It is all about consistency now. I hope Fenerbahçe improve their look as of İsmail Kartal era and drop the number of point losses to minimum.
I cannot believe what Galatasaray is doing financially. The amount of money they spend is certainly more than they earn and more than they can pay. How much can they borrow? Now there's news about Sergio Ramos. Sergio Ramos must have heard about the money and wanted to come. I saw on the internet that Galatasaray fans were discussing which foreign star we would have to cut and replace with a Turkish player if Sergio Ramos came. I've seen Galatasaray's real estate investment in Florya and the potential income, but it's still not enough for these transfers. If there is a failure, Galatasaray will be in an extremely bad situation financially. Sergio Ramos is wanted by quite many clubs now. Atletico Madrid were a much more competitive team for titles in the past. Simeone was there again. They won so many titles in his management as well but those days are long gone now. Of course the same system doesn't work forever for a team. It looks like we are nearing the end of Simeone's time at Atletico Madrid as well.
He has only one year left here and there is still no offer by Atletico Madrid for an extension. This means they will probably wait and see if there will be any improvement in team performance.
Atletico Madrid have a really strong squad in fact. They have the strength to be in the La Liga title race. Simeone should find a way to make this team become more consistent this season. Besides their Champions League effort has also been not decent at all.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich are both after Brentford goalkeeper David Raya now. However I don't think Raya would prefer Arsenal to Bayern Munich. Above all else Arsenal already have a main goalkeeper who is Ramsdale. Raya would most probably be waiting in the subs if he goes there. But it isn't the same situation as for Bayern Munich. Because they are about to part ways with Sommer who has been playing in Neuer's place. Inter are close to sign him so Bayern Munich need a new goalkeeper.
Raya will be the main goalkeeper of the team there. Because Neuer hasn't still recovered fully and it is doubtful how good he would continue to perform either.

Verstappen has opened the gap way more with Perez in the driver standings. He is so comfortable in the races that he even offered his team to do an extra pit in the latest race just for practicing. Perez has started to make some improvement recently which is important for him. Horner already announced Perez for next season as well though. But this is Formula 1 so everything can change anytime. Hence Perez had better keep this up.
