1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the ICO have a future in 2020? on: May 08, 2020, 08:07:22 AM
Good afternoon! In your opinion, how relevant is the ICO in 2020 after many projects turned out to be scammers?
The ICO market is not doing well despite, in all of the measures that were adopted like the KYC on the project team members, third party audit, etc. Because the investors are already doubting on ICO thats why it is going to the limbo For me, the damage is done already many people were already scammed and losing money with those fraudulent ICO's before including myself base on my assessment ICO won't prosper any more in 2020 Although IEO will be more attractive to invest especially if it was done on the popular and big crypto exchange platform like Binance, Okex, etc.
1442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never trust an ICO ranking site! on: May 08, 2020, 07:53:24 AM
I don't believe in ICO ranking sites. Most of them are paid and not real.
The more they get from the team (payment) the better the rank they will give!

What I am looking for in ICO is looking at MVP, live and working products. Something that really can make a difference. Not just empty words with fancy pictures.
That was the common opinion in this forum about those ICO listing sites and I think it is true, Because base on my experience, not all ICO ranking site is truthful about the information and data that they were provided to the public and because it was a paid listing what can we expect? I think thats the reason why too many ICO was turned into an exit scam.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO not becoming to be worst than ICO, any future for bounty hunters? on: May 07, 2020, 01:39:26 PM
Your OP has two questions that need to be answered, first question "Is IEO not becoming to be worst than ICO" I think it's not! because IEO is more secure compare to an ICO since the transaction was done inside the crypto-exchange that acts like escrow service. While in ICO the funding transaction was directly sent to the founder's position and without any third party Audit, it is prone to corruption that later on becomes an exit scam. The second question "Any future for bounty hunters?" I think bounty campaigns are here to stay because it is the cheapest form of marketing and advertising strategy. where on earth you can find any advertising agency that accepts a native token without value as a form of payment? all of it was only exists in the forums and other bounty and marketing platforms etc. But we must admit that the budget or allocation in the most bounties nowadays are sinking and also we must face the new normal in our payments scheme because bounty tokens are locked in different periods but depend on the project. ranging from 2-,6 months up to a year.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe to join campaign does not mean rewarding campaign on: May 05, 2020, 03:14:42 PM
This year, in abid to join the best bounties around to flex the time; several peeps have highlighted numerous bounty programs and tagged them safe due to the team reputation, the projects product output, and because it is listed on a reputable.

It has given different results, with Hex price skyrocketing, while burn and spyce struggles; And the safe sheng also removed kyc as requirements.
I urge every hunter, to realize that while selecting safe bounties to join; also join because you will get profits from trading your rewards.

Do your researches, evaluate your chances of earning well; before joining.
The point is not all bounty campaigns are honest and paid you on time as they promise during the start of the promotion. remember that they can change the rules anytime as they want to. But I agree at some point doing your own research before you join is the best thing to do to minimize the risk and narrow your choices while picking some quality bounty projects to promote.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day dreamer! on: May 04, 2020, 01:47:01 PM
Thats true mate! Most of the bounty campaigns nowadays are just a waste of time and effort. Aside from low budget allocation, it takes months or even a year before getting paid. But some bounty campaigns still paid honestly to its participants like those BTC/ETH paid campaigns. IMO, it was only 0.5 percent out of 100 bounty campaigns that will be paid you accordingly others were just empty promises. Thats why choosing the right bounty campaign is a tough job to do. Just keep believing in what you are doing I'm sure it will be done smoothly.
1446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay in waves or convert them to ethereum? on: May 04, 2020, 01:16:49 PM
Base on the price data that you shared, you're already losing big so what's the difference if you sell it now, are you still hoping that the waves price will return to its previous ATH, The decision still yours if you want to sell your waves so that you can buy Ethereum why not, otherwise it is a good coin other than Bitcoin. Wave's team is not doing a good marketing strategy the platform was too silent nowadays.
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum prices may touch $250 soon so hodl on to them on: May 03, 2020, 03:17:11 PM
Ethereum had quiet a nice rally till we witnessed a minor bump in it’s prices, but for what it’s worth it also found strong resistance at $202 levels and has once again started bouncing upwards. According to this article it’s showing all the signs of crossing the $250 levels soon, and hence I feel that we should hold on to our Ethereum coins, and not rush into selling them. Furthermore when do you’ll think will Ethereum prices cross the $250 levels mark, pre or post the halving event?.

Well, it's highly possible to reach that price early the $250/eth was easy to achieve. As we see today it was already stabilized at the current price of $214/eth and I believe soon it will break that support. there was a lot of speculation that is circulating about this current market activity. and it has many considerable factors that might be driving this trend, for others maybe the upcoming Bitcoin Halving event or even the Ethereum 2.0 update, etc. but who knows there's more.
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does marketcap value shows the coin price stability? on: May 03, 2020, 02:41:46 PM
In crypto info websites, a crypto's marketcap value is an aggregated amount taken from various exchanges. It has been known that altcoins with a smaller marketcap can be subject to price manipulation by controlling the supply. Therefore, price stability may not necessarily rely upon the marketcap. Instead, the market value from daily transactions and trade volume can show possible trends in the future, but even this shows no certainty for price stability.
IMO, the market cap of any particular crypto project/platform is just a "confidence booster" for its users/investors and it is not portrayed the whole status of any crypto project or company. for me what matters most is the productivity of the platform and its ability to create a demand for its product and services offered to its clients. But we must admit all of those platforms like Coinmarketcap/CoinGecko etc. are very useful for gathering data and information for all available cryptocurrency as you wish.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Futures on: May 02, 2020, 11:06:46 AM
There are lots of cryptocurrencies and lots of coin but everyone can't make a future.  10 years ago bitcoin started their journey and they reached there goal!  But no other coin is  like them because they starts their journey for profit not to making them worldwide!
You know mate, you should stop comparing bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies because in the first place it is incomparable in many aspects. Bitcoin as a pioneering cryptocurrency has done through many tests and trials through the years while those new cryptocurrencies have not. Every cryptocurrency platform has a purpose so it's better not to compare each other except those copycats. and thats what my opinion.
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers in a top exchanges telegram groups on: May 02, 2020, 10:43:54 AM
Scammers are everywhere and waiting for the perfect time to devour its victim. I also experience this kind of problem in one of the popular exchange. someone approach me regarding my deposit problem when the cryptocurrency that I was deposited has not arrived in my exchange wallet I been waiting for a minute and he asks me to deposit more in other wallets address so that it will be credited. but I refused to do it because I've found out that it was a scammer that pretending to be an admin.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A few thoughts, if you are starting today, these tips can be very valuable on: May 01, 2020, 01:37:21 PM
Well, thanks for sharing mate, But this is not the first time that I was seeing a warning OP like this. In my opinion, it makes sense that before you invest in cryptocurrency-related investment, It's better to keep in mind that it was a risky type of investment, and anytime you could lose some of your hard-earned money if you didn't do the right thing. In that case, everyone should always ready whatever happens next.
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you prefer to invest token or coin? on: May 01, 2020, 01:13:38 PM
For me, it doesn't matter if the project was a coin or token base the more important is how it will be used in the real world to create demand for its coin/token. It should be unique has an edge to the existing platforms. Any project can transfer to its main network later on after the entire platform was developed including the working product or services to offer.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Best Exchanges for Your New Token on: April 30, 2020, 10:02:57 AM
What are the best exchanges to try and get your new token listed on? I'm talking about realistic exchanges that you actually have a chance with.
Just make sure that your tokenized project is legitimate and useful to the community. I'm sure many top tier exchange will list your token, I recommend BIKI, Probit Kucoin, etc. I think those crypto exchanges are not hard to approach when it comes to token listing. compare to Binance, Houbi, Okex, etc. your token should be cleared in all forms of fraudulent data like a plagiarized whitepaper, anonymous team members unrealistic return of investment, etc.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy some alt? on: April 30, 2020, 09:03:18 AM
We are closing to the bitcoin halving event and the orice has already startes to act to the event as expected. We may now see a significant increase in BTC price as well. Is it a good time to invest some money on some altcoins, obviously on the top altcoins only.
I notice it too but still, I don't convince yet that the recent price spike was related to the upcoming Bitcoin halving, the market should return to its previous state of $300+ Billion MarketCap so that it will more convincing for now, I'll be in watch mode and continue to monitor the market price movement who knows in the following days there will be a more convincing price movement.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance listing can't erase price dump on: April 29, 2020, 02:04:46 PM
Price dump is something that top exchanges can't fix ever, since crypto is volatile it's never going to be stable, many are saying some coins loses value or drop below IEO price on binance, what do you expected? That since the coins are listed on binance they should be surging Everytime? well that's not reality.

This shows that everyone should become a close friend with research, listing on Binance is not a bullet Proof to dump in value, do your own research even if a project is going binance, use cases are on different levels they are better than other, learn to pick the best.
I think there is a misinterpretation about it. I'm a Binance user from 2017 until now and what I observe is most of the time pump and dump is normal on any project that was listed in Binance. during the first day of listing was very exciting because the price continued to pump and then dump on another day. for me thats normal, if those project was offering an ICO or even IEO since those investors are selling their coins/tokens so no exchange can guarantee that there was no dump after listing even the top exchange like Binance.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency & Mobile Gaming on: April 29, 2020, 01:45:33 PM
Are you serious with that information? "collecting your data and then selling it to publishers." question: what kind of data did you mean? I think thats weird if those users do not know that trick. Just imagine it has three million users that might be lost if that unlawful selling of data was exposed and also it can damage their reputation, By doing such thing It doesn't make sense to me. It's better to choose another Gaming platform that observes privacy and protects its user's data. I think there's plenty of gaming Dapps in the market that we use. I was only basing my opinion on your OP so correct me if I'm wrong.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [JOKE NEWS] Ripple lambasts Bitcoin and Eth, showcases XRP as most eco-friendly on: April 28, 2020, 02:55:56 PM
However, what the Ripple commemorative report was not telling everyone is that their Ripple platform is centralized and from the point of view of developers who are trying to create decentralized coin solutions, the XRP tokens are useless in such a centralized platform.

Also, why this commemorative report? I speculate a pump arriving hehehehe.

Ripple published a commemorative report about the Earth Day anniversary, briefly explaining the sustainability of various currencies and their environmental impacts, showcasing XRP as the most eco-friendly.

Focusing on the two most widely adopted cryptos, Bitcoin and Ethereum, Ripple noted that PoW mining —the process of adding transaction records to the general ledger called the Blockchain— is required for extraction, which carries high energy and electricity consumption; “the cost of producing one coin could power almost four U.S. homes for a day”.

Ripple noted that unlike other currencies, XRP does not need that massive amount of energy to circulate so it can be “one of the most sustainable forms of currency available”.

That was a shallow joke, by no other than the Ripple CEO itself. But cryptocurrency mining has indeed used a lot of energy then what? for me it was the part of the economics, Manufacturer builds mining machines, and Miners buys it, to mine cryptocurrency then sell those cryptocurrencies to pay those electricity bills and all were part of the cycle in the crypto industry. My suggestion is instead of using electricity from fossil fuel power plants why not use electricity from renewable energy sources if possible.
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S20 Smart Phone will Support Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON on: April 28, 2020, 02:36:50 PM
World Top Tech-giant Company Samsung has introduced the new flagship Samsung Galaxy S20 Smartphone, which will have a built-in crypto wallet.
It can be used to manage Bitcoin, Ethereum, other ERC20 tokens and TRON (TRX).

Source: https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/samsung-galaxy-s20-will-support-btc-eth-trx/
Thats good news to hear, it means thats the tech giant like Samsung has recognized the potentials of the crypto industry. And thats the reason why Samsung was very supportive to our beloved industry. And it is also possible that other tech giants will follow too hopefully, I believe Samsung was doing a great job by supporting the crypto industry because it can bring changes to our current centralized global financial system.
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about KuCoin partnerships on: April 27, 2020, 01:17:24 PM
Hello

I have been a KuCoin user for a long time and I'm wondering what do you guys think about their marketing activities and partnerships.

Lately, they have partnered up with pretty unknown projects such as Onchain Custodian, Newscrypto, Banxa..

Any idea what's the point behind this?

When the time that I was venturing into the crypto-space the first cryptocurrency exchange that I used is Kucoin. During that time I was participated at an ICO project and later on it was listed on Kucoin exchange and I find Kucoin was friendly, reliable and safe but not as popular and big like Binance. But still, it has a large volume of traders. My opinion about those new partnerships is simple it's not bad at all even those platforms are not popular as long as it was legitimate I think it is not a problem. Kucoin should avoid those "unclear partnerships" to prevent the same incident as the Kucoin Play misunderstanding.
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of lying project team on: April 27, 2020, 12:36:32 PM
I've seen few projects that decieved investors into thinking that they will list on binance or okex and Kucoin without these exchanges confirmation, my advice is once a project claim they are going top exchange do not hesitate to go to the top exchange social media, if the listing is legit the exchange will atleast say something about it. Wise up
Yes mate your observation is correct, back then many ICO's are using those lines "Soon to be listed ****" that was misleading. Because most of the popular cryptocurrency exchange has required the *NDA protocol or (Non-disclosure Agreement) meaning if that project is not yet confirmed to list on that exchange. Then they are not authorized to share any of such information. Because they are prohibited to disclose any information without any finality of everything.
