1441  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Inputs.io Is Gone I'm Calling It A Scam on: November 08, 2013, 12:37:53 AM
I'm so glad I transferred my bitcoins a DAY before TF closed the site down Smiley

Makes me wonder if he allowed the site to run after the hack so he could get his personal funds out, and allow his buddies to get their money out before divvying up what was left to the rest of the suckers.

this is what i thought from the beginning. it was clear that some funds were still able to be moved out of inputs.io for quite some time after "the hack." TF continuing to accept deposits while letting others (and himself) cash out, and this goes on for weeks until the pyramid collapses? TF deserves a scammer tag unquestionably.
1442  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ACCUSATION: TradeFortress + Inputs.io on: November 08, 2013, 12:29:33 AM
perhaps you can tell us about TF's personal bitcoin holdings? i'd like to know just how much he is sitting on, that's for sure.
Why would I do that?
Who ever said that the community deserved to get reimbursement?
deserve reimbursement? nothing about that. TF was either unbelievably negligent or stole the BTC himself and surely deserves everything bad that is coming to him.

i am well aware online wallets aren't safe. i use them for small amounts to avoid breaking cold wallets. that doesn't make it right to turn this into a victim-blaming game. enough with the "let this be a lesson". this won't be a lesson anymore than instawallet was, so stop it with the broken record already. some will learn, some won't, and some were already aware, but we don't need you acting all smug about it.

TF fucked everyone here. it's important to remember that. and here you are ITT "hoping" that people don't get reimbursement -- your words -- like a nasty little troll. get off your high horse.

none of the payments were sent with fees. hopefully they will come through. some people saying 40 hours estimated conf time? those tx might be lost.
1446  Economy / Services / Re: The oldest sig ad campaign - get 0.3 BTC/month for free! No need to keep posting on: November 07, 2013, 07:16:50 PM
was this an inside job  Huh

That certainly makes the most sense.  Claim site was hacked, establish a protocol for people to get partial refunds.  Refund many people as they make requests to make it look like an actual attack.   Then pocket all of the lower balances of people who either forgot they had small amounts stored there or simply don't care enough about a small amount of their bitcoins.

Sad So are we going to mark TradeFortress as a SCAMMER:!(  Huh

well, there is now a scam accusation thread about him: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=326879.0
voice opinions there!
1447  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Inputs.io HACKED, 4 100 BTC STOLEN - REFUND DISCUSSION THREAD on: November 07, 2013, 06:56:05 PM
I got my refund.
TradeFortress is not scammer!

Same here. First people complain because they didn't receive refunds. Now people are receiving refunds, they are complaining that TF is doing it to cover himself up :S.

you only had what like .07 in there you said? maybe you shouldn't worry about other people, who may have had much more. you think TF is making everyone whole? really? stop shilling, a lot of people are out a lot of money and those with sizable balances are getting fucked hard.
1448  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Inputs.io HACKED, 4 100 BTC STOLEN - REFUND DISCUSSION THREAD on: November 07, 2013, 06:11:06 PM
awesome TF is sleeping. yeah he sure fucking slept for 2 weeks while we were all still using his dead/hacked service. what a scammer. how are we supposed to take this guy seriously when he gets hacked two weeks ago and lets us all keep loading inputs.io and coinlenders? do the math. he's taking new deposits and partially repaying old ones. i wonder how much he keeps for himself.
1449  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Inputs.io | Instant Payments, Offchain API, Secure Wallet, 235k+ BTC transferred on: November 07, 2013, 06:03:34 PM
there is absolutely no excuse for saying your website got hacked for 4k coins two weeks ago and then after it you do nothing , you don't tell your customers, you didn't take the site offline to investigate, you just allowed everyone to keep sending coins as if nothing happened. That is absolutely disgusting and i don't believe this "hack" BS for one second.

TF is a scammer
this is the key. he let everyone keep depositing, just lining his pockets with BTC that he is now "partially refunding." coinlenders is still up --- TF are you fucking STILL taking people's coins on coinlenders? i can't believe you let us go so long just lying to us that everything was okay. it is truly disgusting and i hope you are ostracized from the btc community. makes me so sick thinking about what you've done. if you really got hacked? fucking own up to it when it happens. don't let your loyal customers walk into a trap you set so you can steal from them for weeks while you figure your fucking mess out.
1450  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ACCUSATION: TradeFortress + Inputs.io on: November 07, 2013, 10:19:10 AM
I think this claim is honestly outrageous as it's pretty obvious the site was in fact hacked as I lost my coins several weeks prior to the "mass hacking". After a third party security audit, he assured me there must have been a flaw in Inputs.io security.
well that makes me feel so much better. so it turns out he's a fucking shit programmer, he keeps everything in the hot wallet, gets it "compromised" and i'm supposed to feel better because inputs.io was compromised weeks prior and he allowed us all to keep depositing? what the hell kind of crack are you smoking?

outrageous? is that a joke? this wreaks of a con job.

keep rubbing on TF's nuts because you get refunded much more than the vast majority. we'll see how much is left for the little guys.
1451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Inputs.io possible security breach on: November 07, 2013, 09:45:44 AM
so apparently TF kept most of the coins in a hot wallet, had it compromised, and is now crying "hacker." thousands of bitcoins lost for anyone with funds on coinlenders and inputs.io.

there ought to be some discussion about the circumstances of this "hack".

anyone out funds? he's apparently doing "partial refunds" for people who held > 1 btc.

i should have seen this guy's long con a long time ago. FML
1452  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Inputs.io | Instant Payments, Offchain API, Secure Wallet, 235k+ BTC transferred on: November 07, 2013, 09:33:55 AM
When will TF be importing his offline wallet to pay back all his customers.

Why does the person who failed get to keep his coins when everyone else loses?

this, seriously. what the fuck kind of sloppy mess is he running keeping everything in hot wallets?

I vote for a Scammer tag for TradeFortress

ditto. a lot of people are going to walk away fucked from this. at best, sloppy as all hell, at worst, straight up con artist. thanks for fucking us with your > 1btc rule.
1453  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Inputs.io | Instant Payments, Offchain API, Secure Wallet, 235k+ BTC transferred on: November 07, 2013, 09:25:13 AM
@TradeFortress I had ~0.08 0.09 btc on two wallets, it isn't much(yet!) but I really don't understand "only >1 deposit refund policy", looks like a lot of smaller pockets refunding some big pockets... because those first cannot harm you here?

Yep, the small fish can't pursue him, or won't because the losses are so small, so he's giving preferential partial refunds to those who can.
Or perhaps that refunds are performed by hand, and processing refunds for those with larger balances is more important at this stage compared to processing refunds for people who collected from faucets.
> 1 BTC? Collecting from faucets? Is that a fucking joke?

Fuck this piece of shit scammer.

Pretty easy $$$ to be had right now on the exchanges.

Bitstamp is consolidating right below 245.  There is about a 95% chance it will test it's ATH at 259 within the next couple of days, probably tomorrow and at the latest by next Monday.

So that's 14 points to be had if anybody want to take them.  Gox only has about 12 points to go to 266, but that's still 12 easy points to be made.

but i'm only holding coins and am totally out of fiat on the exchanges. this is no good!
1458  Economy / Speculation / Re: 200 USD, the new support? on: November 06, 2013, 01:39:39 AM
support was meant to be broken. it will be an epic crash that runs right through 200. may be a ways off, though. too bullish of market for this talk right now.
