1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 12, 2017, 03:47:52 PM
I'm planning to buy some ETH, will it hit $1000 in 2018?

Need your suggestions

When i first commented on such post, i said its hard base on the growing speed.

Guess i will take back my words, with such growing speed. $100 growth in a day

Ethereum might even positively hit $1,000 in this december Tongue
1442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptokitties, boon or bane to eth? on: December 12, 2017, 03:45:06 PM
How does it help the ethereum's network?by slowing the transactions of the whole network, yeah thats positive for the competitors of ethereum.

I believe you are still new to crypto

When you look further, its actually a positive event.

True, it slow down the transaction of network and it seems positive for the competitor of ethereum.
But in the long run, it let Ethereum understands that they will need to improve to have a faster TX speed and its consider a first "Stress Test" after the previous "ICO Rally" that congest the network.

I call this a good thing and it gives Ethereum a chance to enhance their network
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The HIDDEN GEM FOR 2018 on: December 12, 2017, 03:39:01 PM
Im considering these coins : SONM , SNT , XBY , SHIFT.
which coins do you guys think can never buy again this cheap next year ? Share your opinions thanks !

SONM take a really long time to develop their product, and if THEY could release their cloudcomputing thing, i think it will be really huge leap for them

Same to SHIFT, they have constant updates and development every month
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wabi up 5x on Binance on: December 12, 2017, 03:32:40 PM
who bought wabi during ICO. Congrats!!

Thanks Ian and Cryptocrush and https://icoflip.com

We gotta agree that Wabi has a very good use there

"Paying with WaBi grants additional benefits: discounts, improved delivery terms, bonus WaBi points with every purchase"

Other than that, it provides Safe product use which prevent fraudulent product/product that is not genuine safe free to be market

Somehow, it is a really good solution to solve the current huge issue in market
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OMG what happend with Litecoin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: December 12, 2017, 03:31:01 PM
I checked and there's no major news/development on Litecoin

Might be some speculation from some big party + uptrend which attract people to buy it

As usual, Bitcoin has a special relation to Litecoin so when Bitcoin Pump, Lite should most likely has its price to move on imo
1446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good coin to buy now, ARDOR maybe? on: December 12, 2017, 03:26:36 PM
Newcomer looking to expand my first coin buys. I'm looking at ARDOR, ARK and MANA as well as some more NEM. Thoughts? Any of these coins got a chance of becoming a $10+ coin next year?

Ark have a very good chance to hit $10 and it should be very easy

Ardor stand a chance too, new technology enhancement upgrade from NXT blockchain, support child chain tokens as payment/transfer

Wait for Ardor main net launch, play with it and decide Smiley
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves or NEO ? on: December 12, 2017, 03:25:06 PM
You certainly made a good choice by buying waves

I foresee waves to hit $100 soon in 2018

I am not saying that NEO is bad or what, but i think waves deserve a better price
1448  Other / Beginners & Help / Perform a specific Date topic search? on: December 11, 2017, 03:21:52 PM

1449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Does you people consider correction as bubble pop? on: December 08, 2017, 03:57:23 AM
As far as what i have read on social media, the terms "Bubble" was always overly used especially by people who have no idea about blockchain and just blast that Bitcoin is a "Fraud"

Hence, those people are always waiting for the "Bubble" to pop, but there comes a question
How much of value will be lost only that it can be consider as "Bubble to Pop"?

Does the correction from $5,000 to $2,800 a pop? (Around 44% value lost)
Does the correction from $1,000 to $200 a pop? (Around 80% value lost)

So, voice your opinion

1) How much % do you think we are consider a bubble pop? 99% Value lost like Tulip mania?

2) In the case of bubble pop, will you still hold your bitcoin? (I personally conducted these research and survey, my result found out that the mindset "HODL" is very strong in the Crypto industry itself

3) A 0.1% of World total income injected to Bitcoin would potentially increase Bitcoin price by $3,333. How much % of your wealth are you putting in?
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best coins to invest on: December 06, 2017, 01:22:27 PM
Hi,

I am new to crypto and am planing to invest some amount in following coins. Please let me know these altcoins are good or need to change.

IOTA,
digibyte,
cardano,
adex,
ripple,
bancor

Thank you .

There would not be a "Best" coin to invest

But there are potential coins there
From your List, i believe you have seen some of them recommended or you may have read on the coins yourself

IOTA/Cardano could be really big in the future as they are doing something unique compare to the other smart contract chain.
IOTA might have a more different blockchain approach compare to others
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies Are Now More Valuable Than Visa on: December 06, 2017, 12:59:47 PM
hello everybody,The market valuation of all of the cryptocurrencies combined has surpassed the market cap of leading financial service provider Visa, by $30 billion Smiley~.

We gotta agree that crypto is huge because it is accessible by anyone from anywhere

If we actually look at Debit/Credit cards, it has criteria like personal infos, records and etc.

Crypto has none of this, hence, decentralization is the key Tongue
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: As a IOTA holder on: December 06, 2017, 12:58:18 PM
I bought  IOTA    when it was  at  35 c  and  then at 60 c.

I regret  to do not   have put more money...  I had  800$  to invest  and  if  I had gone  all in I  would  have  8k  for  christmas....  sad d
sad sad....

I  would  have  sold  if I  would  have reached  that  ammount... but  now  I am  in a  small profit  compared to 8k.  BUT   I  HODL  TO   DA MOON , because  I  always  tought   this   has  great potenciality,  and  I admitt  that   I have made  a lot  of  fud  on this  forum abut iota  just  to accumulate more  when it  was  at  35

If  it   succeed   bye bye  bitcoin, we are entering into  a  new  era.

Also I  would  take  a look  at  byteball

Although you didn't put more money
But congrats for such huge gains and good investment there

I am sure although you didn't invest much but turning your money by few folds increase your buying power Smiley
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ether be $750 if Bitcoin reaches $10k? on: December 05, 2017, 06:08:19 AM
Okay btc is closed to $12,000
Ethereum is at $450

I would say this is a good scenario, although it didn't hit $750
I am sure that its a good chance for people to enter now and it will soon hit $1,000 in 2018 Smiley
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next x10 coins for 2018 on: December 05, 2017, 05:34:35 AM
Since it is only gambling to chose the next x1000 coin and even to predict the next x100 coin is very hard to impossible, let's be a bit more realistic and pick the most promising coins that will at least x10(or more  Grin) in 2018. I mean such an investment will go from $100 to $1000 and is still a very good investment. And it should not be impossible to predict with a good fundamental analysis.

My favorites for 2018 that should at least x10 are:

1. Ardor, because it is the successor of the NXT token and has the same team behind it but offers much more functions. With its main chain, it offers the option to create new coins with an own sub chain under Ardor and the Ardor holders will profit from it. Ardor will start soon and hopefully be even more successful than NXT.

2. Verge: It is a stealth coin like Monero but still very undervalued (low market cap). The developers are active and the community is very positive about this project. Some more exchanges started to trade Verge recently.

3. Electroneum: This is a bit risky because it's still an ICO but looks very promising. They develop mobile apps and you can mine this coin via the mobile app.

Which coins do you think will at least x10 in 2018 and should be a good and profitable investment for us?

I am kinda sure that Electronuem might not hit x10, the reason why i said so is because it already has a very good movement compare to its ICO price which were at $0.01.

I am not sure if ICO tokens are unlocked. However, with the such huge supply. If it goes x10, it would outperform all the market and even be bigger than Bitcoin marketcap Tongue

Not sure about Verge but i am certainly sure Ardor could perform well
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Altcoins for Daily Life (Bills, purchases, etc.) on: December 05, 2017, 05:32:22 AM
I was looking at other cryptocurrencies such as Dash.  I have seen several ways to use Bitcoin for daily things, in fact, Visa even has a card you can load with Bitcoin which is converted to cash called Bitpay.  Which, obviously, you could use for daily purchases in your local area for places that do not accept Bitcoin, yet, and of course could be used to pay monthly bills, etc.

What I am curious about as I have just started to learn about Dash, is if there are such services available to make use of that particular currency.  I live in Oklahoma, so cryptocurrencies are less adapted here than say in much, much larger metropolitan cities on the east and west coasts.  If I were to mine for Dash, is there a way to conveniently use it for daily living expenses?

I Don't think currently there any way of clearing your expenses by paying or gifting Dash.

The main accepted crypto now is Bitcoin for Real Life Payment and i saw some by Ethereum.

I would say for Daily Life usage with Altcoins, it might take a long time for Bitcoin first to Adopt in the market, we will then follow by Altcoins.

To use your Mined Dash as living expenses, Sell Dash to BTC, then BTC to fiat. Thats the only way now Tongue
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: December 05, 2017, 05:30:05 AM
So here I am with about 1.5$ in my poloniex account today. What advice would you give me to make this 1.5$ into 150$ by the end of next year that is 2018?

Anyplace I could get to know about pump n dumps before they happen? Any particular cheap crypto that I should hold onto?

With such amount, as long as you don't move or cashout your money. The fees might not kill you.

If you are looking to play with $1, the transaction fee from sending from the Platform to exchange would result a negative number. Hence, you gotta earn it back fast.

How?
Day trading
An estimated of 3% Day trading profit would result your $1 compound to $2.43 in a month

What if you can make more? Lets see the Difference. 30 Days result

$1 | 3% | 30 Days = $2.43
$1 | 5% | 30 Days = $4.32

A 2% Difference merely make extra 100% Profit.

Aside from that, you don't day trade just one time. Lets make the lowest out of lowest profit. 2% - 0.1%(fee) = 1.9% Per Trade

Lets say you averagely make 1.9% and you compoundly invested the earned amount with initial earning.

$1 | 1.9% | 3 Trades Per Day | 30 Days = $5.44
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SALT Speculation. Is it worth it? on: December 05, 2017, 05:19:37 AM
What do you guys think?

Price is quite low at $5.14

It's $$6.xx now. There was one time where if drops below $3/4, if you don't panic and hold based on the time you posted your thread, regardless if it's satoshi value went down. You would have earn 10-20% right now if you sell it off Smiley
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📌[ANN][SAGA][NO ICO][Masternode 90%] SagaCoin | PoW + PoS ⚡ on: December 05, 2017, 05:17:50 AM
Just got into mining last week

Since the coins is Scrypt, i believe its an ASIC algorithm.

In this case, can we actually mine it with GPU? Does GPU provides the Algorithm "Scrypt"?
If yes is it worth to mine with it?

Thanks
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying Ardor today, will i get ignis? on: December 05, 2017, 05:15:03 AM
- Every 1 ARDR asset (on Nxt's Asset Exchange, Asset Id: Asset Id: 12422608354438203866) will be swapped for 1 ARDR coin/token in the future Ardor platform

Will the ARDR asset become worthless if it's kept on an exchange or is it safe to keep them on an exchange before/during/after the swap?

This might need to wait until the exchange Declare, but most likely it will makes no different there because

Ardor platform uses the same wallet/passphrase as your NXT wallet. Hence, what i read is that whatever is store on your NXT wallet will be transfer to your Ardor wallet since it holds the same passphrases
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: December 05, 2017, 05:08:43 AM
Anyone who has ever been or are in a committed relationship or marriage where both people gamble? Or in a relationship with a gambler with a friend, best friend, family related etc...  Knowing you are in it together is weird comforting and gives me some sort of undefined explanation.

What does that look like for you? Your experience needs to be heard.

Never had any gambling related stuff with my family

However, betting and gambling with friends is just so fun. Especially on Esport betting where we bet on the same Team, everyone were so excited when the team we are shouting is winning!
