I will set up a mining pool for this coin.
Please PM me. We can set this up as we move forward.

why that huge ammount of coins?
1 satoshi coin spotted...
You'll notice that it is over a LONG period of time - not even 1 Billion coins, or 10%, in the first year. Can you give me a reason to think we should lower the amount? My ears are wide open. Thanks!

how about x11 and pos if your so concerned about the environment?
From research, you see that roughly 25% of the Carbon in the environment comes from electricity. Arguing that the amount of electricity in mining is what's causing the problem we are trying to fix seems to be a bad stance on our end. What do you think?

Love SolarCoin, hope this one will do well too. We just got a large solar system installed on our home:-) Sent message to "biodieselchris" as instructed in thread.
That sounds awesome - you are the definition of the producer we want GreenCoin to support. I'm sure he'll get back to you soon, and thank you!

LOL, something called GreenCoin that uses the least energy-efficient algorithm We felt that being more simple would be better for the longevity of the coin.

Goals: Set up a Carbon exchange using GreenCoin as the trading Medium. GreenCoin is paid to producers on a daily basis for offsetting Carbon - this directly ties a Carbon value to each individual GreenCoin, and is found on www.grcoin.com. The coins for those payoffs come from GreenCoin's splitting algorithm, which sends 50% of every block to a central address, GZdib7W1cxd2VaEfYAw4ppe6dXhkhbScE2, which is then sent automatically to verified renewable energy producers at the end of each business day. Milestones: Within a months time, we aim to be listed on Bittrex (currently raising money to pay for their sponsorship), and will also be having a major website overhaul, including an automated producer signup, with earned values of GreenCoin over time, converted to Carbon and calculated Carbon offsets. Underdevelopment:-Discussions with new producers, including North Carolina State University (NCSU) about their Sustainability project and tying in GreenCoin as an incentive. -More wallet development -Being added to Bittrex - SOON. Donation Address for Developer: Gh4JEosjiCGv4rcyhvyVN4Ruow7Nbf9tpf For the future:-A number of Carbon Merchants where GRE can be spent on everyday items. -A Carbon market featured on GreenCoin.info, where users can buy and sell Carbon - GRE will be traded in the background, but opening up to a wider market will cause the GreenCoin price to be completely reflective of Carbon, and thus will reflect a true open market price for carbon. Website: www.grcoin.comTo read about the project in much greater detail feel free to check out the abstract. Abstract_v1.0.pdf. I'm going to start off by saying that I *know* a dedicated rig would be better than the solution I am trying to cobble together. Believe me, I would much rather have a couple of gridseeds or a titan or any of the other powerhouse rigs that are coming out. I can't afford one right now and with Bitcoin values rising and altcoins coming out of the woodwork every day, it isn't profitable to rent rigs anymore (if it ever even was to begin with!). It's my birthday today (go me!) and my husband has asked me what I want. I don't want flowers or candy or clothes or jewelry. I want MOAR HASHING POWER. My question is this - if I were to buy several of the 4 - 6 GHs USB ASIC miners, how would I "chain" them together so that they would all mine the same coin @ the same pool? I would need a USB hub, right? Could I just tell the husband to head on down to our local Best Buy and pick up any old hub or does it have to have specific features? Any advice would be appreciated Thanks in advance, Cynthia You can "chain them" - just assign them all the same workername. I currently do this with Antminer S1's. Each antminer gets 200 GH/s, but all three together get me 600 GH/s at the same pool. Any USB hub can work (there are some that are iffy, but as long as it's a powered hub it's my understanding that you should be fine). You should ask your husband to get you something similar, but be aware that mining can be tricky and can cause you to lose Bitcoin if you aren't careful. Good luck!

I'm kind of expecting something like this assuming the uptrend holds. I just have to say that I lol'd at this. I know it's an actual guess, but I can't help but think you used paints drawing tool to do this. I don't understand why people haven't seen that the trend is upwards over time, even with drops.

"But he says Dankcoin will be ready in a few weeks." "You idiot! Dank will never release a coin. He barely knows how to operate a bitcoin wallet."
this is priceless lol
Other than to take them I actually laughed pretty good and I am relatively new, not exactly sure what happened with the whole Dank/Squall thing besides Dank ended up 56BTC UP for some odd reason. And he claims he is god.
Pretty good stuff!
The whole claiming to be god thing is what gets me. Oh geez.

Just be smart when it comes to investment and know what you are sending you money to.
This! Purely this. Don't just blindly invest your Bitcoin, regardless of how much you have. Give us some examples of what you're considering, and we can give you opinions to help you make a SMART decision.

Give the guy a chance. Setting up a new account for renting out hashing isn't unheard of, even more so if he's setting up a business.
Let him at least try to prove he's not a scammer before pointing at him and yelling scammer.
Agreed. Being a seasoned member at bitcointalk shouldn't be a requirement. Nothing says that you HAVE to be well known here to have any mining equipment, etc.

I personally wouldn't lend any amount I wasn't comfortable losing, period.
This. Just don't lend if you can't take the risk.

Luckily the price of BTC is still above 0. Time to buy.

Where did the 110 number even come from? Also, as stated before, you lack collateral.

Still working on the bug that caused underpayments on some people's NMC.
Its requiring another full database parse, so, bear with me here. I'll get the balance of payouts out to everyone soon.

I assume this explains why the payout queue can't be seen? Odd little bug on my end, maybe. Thanks for all of the hard work, that's for sure!

How many shares are available?
I'm in for 1@.2
10 shares are available and your bid needs to be (1 @ .205) to be higher than the previous bid by AcoinL.L.C Ok, 1 @ .205 If you are selling 10, why does it need to be higher? Isn't it the same as have an offer for two units as opposed to 1? Sorry, just curious.
