1461  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AVOID BITCOINRUSH.IO, they STOLE 1200 USD from me and 2.5 months of my time on: December 21, 2018, 08:18:43 PM
technically, you broke their TOS
knowingly or not, with bad intentions or not- this is not the case here
this sportsbook could have been real dicks ( or rather stick to their own rules) and didn't pay you at all
I am not sure why they did this half arsed payout instead of either compensating you in full or not paying at all
posting in the gambling section won't help you, you can open a scam accusation here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

you can Google  casino disputes resolution
and try to appeal their decision and write essays on them, but I'd take 0.4 btc if I were you and forget the said bookie existed
1462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run or Dead Cat Bouncing ? on: December 21, 2018, 07:31:00 PM
Easy. Dead cat bounce. Classic. No question.

totally not.not classic.not at all
dead cat bounce is when some asset dropped value almost to nothing
and then shows some signs of life , twitching, bitcoin is far from being done
even to consider it is ridiculous- just compare the 2018 and 2017 price levels
steady growth, no technical difficulties or code problems either
as for the bottom, it does look like 3100 ish was it, but it doesn't mean that the market cannot reverse now
and we are dominated by the bulls, not at all
but it does seem like the new ASICs and difficulty adjustments will keep the price stable 3400-4500$ corridor
again, if some holder decides to sell several millions worth of coins it could trigger another panic sell
1463  Economy / Gambling / Re: boxsbit on: December 21, 2018, 07:01:27 PM
right , so here I am reading the intro and thinking:
wow, here comes some really nice space adventure RPG style game that I can play and win if my skill is superior than that of the others
prepared to "awake courage inside of me" and to login to  "challenge the power of the universe"
only to find this totally anticlimatic dead horse beaten bitkong script variation  Huh

disappoint...

1464  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting Forum on: December 21, 2018, 06:30:02 PM
will check it out
it doesn't seem overpopulated at the moment at the first glance
but there are some interesting topics on betting and tips too
gambling section here lacks quality tipster threads, maybe some of your cappers can run a thread with predictions here
p.s. Golden Contender's thread looks to be a very solid place to start reading, by the way , he seems to know what he is talking about

1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: $ 3400 is the lowest bottom? on: December 21, 2018, 12:35:40 PM
a week has passed and it looks like 3200$ was the bottom
at least we are experiencing a mini bull run now
and the prices are dancing around 4100-4200 mark, which is effectively a 1000$ higher than  a week ago
Bitstamp's low was 3122.28, while Bitfinex recorded a 3215.2 $ bottom
lets wait till the end of the year and hope that the price doesn't fall back to 3000$ and the bulls keep momentum right until the February's ETF timing

Hi all, I want to ask a thing about web browser. I use chrome for bitsler, when I minimize browser windows the bet speed become slower. How to keep maintaining the bet speed fast in minimize state?

Thanks

many browsers slow down the execution when the tab is inactive or the browser is minimzed
in Firefox I set Performance options to custom and choose 8 content processes
up from 4 by default, it eats more RAM this way but all the scripts are running faster and you can open many tabs without having them slowed down
not sure if Chrome has the same option though

@Theb thanks for feedback! We don't have sounds yet, but the good news is that we plan to add some futuristic sounds to the game in the near future Smiley
I will definitely let you know when it's live.
That is definitely good news, the sound will literally be a game changer for the website. The gambling site right now is ok but without the sound it just feels plain to me like there is really something missing from the good looking UI you have. Also this is just my opinion but please do not overdo it, if you mean by "futuristic sounds" like space beams/lazers and unnecessary background space-like noise it won't be a good idea as it will definitely annoy a lot of people including me.

That's actually a really valuable feedback!

What kind of sounds would you like to hear then?

want to mention that I was able to withdraw  my coins no problem, admin and support stuff were extremely helpful
and fixed the bugs that were preventing me to withdraw, the game looks awesome and introducing some futuristic sounds is a good idea
a user should be able to turn them off though, just in case not everyone likes it Smiley

I have very similar experiences with the support, that's good that there is a consistency.

I'd also think about adding language-dedicated channels, rain and tips for the chat users - these are the things that people really care about while coming to the new website. The overall experience is really good, though Smiley

yes the site is frst new and some snags are expected
but it is a very good start and looks like the team is keen on making it a success
some improvements required, but hey, there is nothing perfect in this world
I'm sure that Onehash will make it one of the top dice sites out there

1471  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker studying (Hand reviews) on: December 19, 2018, 07:30:57 PM
Since I'm new here, I thought of something to give to the community.

I'm a winning mid-high stakes reg, (up over $120k in lifetime earnings).

Over the past years I've developed a good sense of the game, and I'd say I'm now at the point where I can teach others a thing or two.

So, if you're interested in bringing your poker game to the next level, send me hands that you've played where you questioned your decisions, or if you have any questions feel free to ask them, either via private messages, or via a reply on this thread!

Edit : Free of charge!

great stuff, its good to see people helping others out for free
I'm sure there will be many requests, waiting for some posts to read, hope not all of them will go in pm/dm
so poker newbs like myself can read and learn Smiley

Ding ding ding!

Another huuuuuuuge Ponzi scam with dozens of newbie accounts bumping it saying they're overhyped.

Don't get fooled guys, lottery has NEVER WORKED in crypto and never will.

The principle in itself isn't scammy but:
- No way they attract enough people
- No info on the team behind it -> they can run away with your money as they want

If it smells like scam, seems like scam and behave like scam, it's a scam.
I browse to it and search for something I feel very unsafe to go in on that one. What i've noticed is that their website is not that too considerable when you begin as a player like what i've said it feels unsafe. csc jackpot always talk about their bonuses on how to earn and multiply your cryptocurrency which i think not a main thing when having that kind of business, it should be the features of your platform, its distinction from the other or uniqueness and most especially the integration from the other company. I tried many online entertainment gambling and have been scammed for a few times but i stopped searching when i found the VegasCasino on which i found the safetyness and security i've been looking for, the privacy of players that is more essential than the money itself. Online gambling and betting industry is very innovative and i found it here in VegasCasino blended with cryptocurrency that gives more tastes and thrill to the players to all the game they offer like roulette, table games etc.

don't even know how could anyone think its legit?
all the red flags are present, add to that the army of shill newbie accounts that don't even try to pretend they belong to one person
there is literally 0 guarantee you have your winnings paid that is if they happen first place
it costs almost nothing to  create such a site, let the OP sit and post with his multies and understand that this sort of games do not work
never had and that there is a cute little graveyard of 10+ lotteries of different sorts buried down the gambling section
1474  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fourcaster Sports 4Cast4Cash Challenge! BTC Prizes on: December 17, 2018, 05:43:57 PM
OK so the odds aren't so great as others have pointed out, but if the competition is for free money and no risks, I guess why not right?

Anyone from this forum already playing? I'm making an account now going to use the same username. I have zero idea about american football or basketball so I guess I'll just be making random bets.

Edit within post... needs real phone number so I guess I'm not playing...

my thought process exactly  Grin
free money, why not? then I'm not too good at american football, but thought I would have a shot at it anyway
but the phone verification was the thing that made me reconsider, not worth my time and sending my phone number to a random site
by the way, phone verification won't stop multiaccounts but will deter many legit players from participating
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple way to earn Bitcoins through Gambling and Casino games. on: December 17, 2018, 04:41:26 PM
the only way to earn gambling is to own a casino Smiley
there are no simple ways to earn through gambling, the chosen ones who make their living gambling are exceptionally good cappers
and they bet on sports or play big stakes, but that doesn't mean that your average joe can make living gambling
the house edge is there for a reason,  1%+ HE adds up , add to that bad bankroll management and under par skills
and you get the picture, the vast majority of people lose way more than the house edge figures when they gamble
I myself prefer to invest in casinos rather than gambling, this way you are gambling with math on your side, for a change

poor "environmental activists" aka paid moneybag shills
are in for a serious disappointment- bitcoin is neither dead nor dying in the foreseeable future
they should focus on giving hardtime to the countries or enterprises the big daddy points them to rather than attacking bitcoin
so out of the all oil drilling, co2 emission etc. they found bitcoin mining ventures too damaging to environment?

an advice to buy something during a bear market shows how much you can trust an analyst

Wut? So your preference is to buy at the top again? Many coins are now 95% or more down. If you believe they have a future then these are the times to be buying. You might yet be able to buy for less but all of this year has been a crappier time than round about now. I expect early next year could well be better. I'll leave that to someone else.

if an asset is losing value , it is better to find the bottom first
we clearly haven't found one and buying now is good if you do not care to lose several hundreds and plan to HODL anyways

oh and their previous predictions about etherium didn't hold water either
they are louded as one of the best asset rating platforms in the world, so if they would like to put their money where their mouth is
and buy lots of coins and post the transaction details , I may consider their predictions
