When reviewing the pages of 2018, the first publication that refers to a hat is a Last of the V8s publication, it seems that it was the trigger of the WO hats at the HairyMaclairy appointment.
From my recollection, this early hat history conversation goes back before October 15, 2018 - because I believe that the main reason that V8 was razzing Hairy so much about hat eating was because months earlier Hairy had said that he would eat his hat if there was certain BTC price movement. I can't remember exactly the bold prediction, so I went back and looked at Hairy's posts for many months before October 15, but I could not find such post.. so I cannot exactly refresh my memory with an actual post. I don't know, this morning I arrived until October 10 and I didn't find anything about it and the phrase V8 have you ever eaten a hat? I never imagined that this thread would have its very own Master Chronicler! That's amazing VB1001.
It is a shame not to have more knowledge of the language, this story has a lot of play to make a fun and enjoyable article. I just try to collect lost information in the thread's funds and rescue it in some way so that it is always available. Anyway we are talking about the thread with more volume of posts in the forum. This is gold.
I though genuinely that the hat mania had to do with the “corn” nickname so common in the thread.
Being those hat very like the one used by the corn farmer in the Midwest I thought that those were the one most interested in nurturing the different, digital “corn”.
But I was wrong apparently.

I've always been interested in hats because of the direct link with WO = BTC = HAT I knew more or less the origin and knew the date of the first hat of xhomer10 / Hairy, but had not looked for the how and why of the hat. @VB1001 very very nice to write the start of the HAT story, though its micgoos sens  Aaaand damn ?? Is it that "jonoiv" that later on was spamming the WO? Hope i'm wrong cause he was involved in the story  Sorry for the typographical errors that may exist, I have to check the entire post again and include or edit some things, such as writing the full username, now some hats are colloquially named and this could cause some misinterpretation, for novices or sporadic visitors of the thread who want to know about the origin of the hats. |
