1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOs from binance not worth holding ? on: April 27, 2020, 12:14:58 PM
Since many are saying that IEO is the best initial offering in crypto space today, most especially if they are from top exchange then I started looking for IEO from top exchange, I followed Cartesi which was successful on binance and price was at 0.08$ and today it's down to 0.045$, it looks like this drop will continue because Bitcoin keeps growing since two days ago now but this coin keeps going down, what is going on? Is binance IEO just for short time gains only? Are IEO tokens from binance not worth holding ?
I think your thread title is confusing, I'm doubting if you participated in that Cartesi IEO, My opinion is this! before you invest in any IEO or other crypto related things you should consider first the risk associated in it. Cryptocurrency investment is a high risk form of investment because of its volatility and weird fluctuation of prices as you mentioned you just closely follow the trading price of CTSI tokens with ranging $0.08 and now its only $0.045 did you know that the IEO price was start at $0.015 cents so it means it was still higher from the IEO price. thats why I dont understand why you are saying "IEOs from binance not worth holding" thats a negative thought to me. If you wish to hold and IEO tokens it was your own choice and the responsibility is also yours and not from Binance or whatsoever.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for best investors? on: April 26, 2020, 12:15:30 PM
The fact is every smart investors are on top exchanges as either a full time trader or part time traders, once a new IEO opportunity arise they will be there to grab the chance, that's why IEO became ease success on top exchanges, looking for the best investors? Go top Exchanges.. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
You have a point mate and it was felt, in the recently conducted Binance Launchpad IEO event by the Cartesi Project. With the total participation of 22,000+, the Cartesi IEO event was done in a matter of minutes. The 22,000+ participants is not a joke. So I conclude that many investors are always ready to invest in large and popular crypto exchanges like Binance, Okex, Houbi, etc compare to those unknown and small crypto exchanges, The IEO placement fee ranging from $200K-$700K is not an issue if the result was an overwhelming success.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May I buy Bitcoin & Ethereum now? Or I am late? on: April 26, 2020, 11:47:12 AM
I just read an article that bitcoin halving can make a big jump in Bitcoin and Ethereum price. They said Bitcoin can hit 10K USD, and for that, the author described 5 reasons! So, should I buy now or the price is already high? Which will be more beneficial, Ethereum or Bitcoin? Please help me out.

Thank you.
I don't think it's late if you only base on the date of the upcoming Bitcoin halving event. Besides its too early to speculate at the moment, Since we all know that the world now is at war with the unseen enemy called COVID-19 virus that makes our movements very limited. So don't expect too much to prevent any disappointments if your expectation will not turn into reality, just ride with the flow believe what you believe but just let the natural process works.

I don't know what you are thinking mate. But I don't think people will invest in that particular token without knowing first the details about the project. Things have changed in the crypto industry today compare to 2016-2017 respectively. Because I believe that most investors nowadays are exercising precautions before investing in any project and the reason was simple to prevent being victimized by those fraudsters.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are research on altcoins for long term investment worth it?? on: April 25, 2020, 01:06:38 PM
After checking through through altcoins,
their ieos,
the immediate pump after ieo,
The stable price and volume for few weeks, months,
And the sudden crash in price,

I want to say that any research on altcoin whatsoever is pure waste of time & energy. it's only the coin devs/team and that can guarantee someone the exact time to invest & exit, it is better to invest and hodl altcoins on the short notice and take profits.

when you're ready to hodl for a long time. It is better you do all that research on trading TA wise for btc & eth than any other altcoin whatsoever.

This is my ample opinion, i will like to further learn from suggestions
I'm sorry mate but I don't agree with your judgment regarding researched on altcoins before investing are purely waste of time and energy. For me researching on any project before investing is a must-do because it can pre-empt any possible fraud to happen and I can say it's true, Because I'm already experience that many times already. I participated in ICO before but I don't do any researched instead I'm only basing my judgment through the popularity of the project. But after raised a huge amount of money, it was gone without a trace. Thats why since that day before I am going to participate on any project my first thing to do is doing some researched and it was effective base on my experience.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: April 24, 2020, 11:00:11 AM
The success of ICO lies in the hand of huge partnership support, huge investors and trust but since scammers canes around ICO trust was ruined but now what we have left is IEO, and I will keep repeating myself over and over for new projects that the success of an IEO is top exchanges, no matter how good your use case is, if you choose p2pb2b or vindax over Okex or binance just have it at the back of your mind that failure awaits you with 80% chance over 100%
I agree with you on some point about the crypto-exchange capacity to host the IEO campaign, the two exchange that you mentioned the OKEx and Binance is the top choices for a successful IEO because it's popular, trusted and reliable exchange in terms of users and trading volume globally and I'm sure also that Okex and Binance will not accept any fraudulent project to hold an IEO on their respective platforms.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading bounty projects and none trading bounty projects on: April 24, 2020, 10:43:32 AM
Bounties is all about luck this days, staying away from scam projects is another topic but I'm here to clarify that listed bounties don't have anything to do with payouts every time, meaning that just because a bounty project is listed on exchange doesn't mean you will get paid, hunters can prove me wrong, few listed bounties already disappoints.

while you are busy looking for listed bounties make sure to check on none listed bounty projects too, remember that Cartesi was never listed and no one knew that they will list on binance.
Thats true mate, thats why everyone must take the time to check some of the vital information about the project which is running a bounty campaign. spend some time reading the project whitepaper, team composition, roadmap, etc in that case you can narrow your choices on the prospective bounties that you want to promote. The Cartesi project is a promising kind, I read and examine their whitepaper and I saw how detailed and complete it was, Cartesi was using Linux OS thats why it's unique thats why I joined there a bounty campaign because its a bright prospect.
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you need to know for Q1 2020 Crypto Markets on: April 23, 2020, 08:22:10 AM
Thanks for the complete insight and analysis for the first quarter of 2020. it is quite helpful to us. By the way, I'm interested to know what happens on the Cosmos project recently, but I don't find any article related to it until this info came today so that was it. the cosmos team was breaking apart and thats the reason why the Atom price was down almost half of its value in the previous months. Will Goodluck to all Atom holders.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I 'delete' useless tokens from my wallet? on: April 23, 2020, 07:31:35 AM
Is it possible to remove tokens from dead projects/tokens that are totally useless and worth $0 from my wallet? Do I just send them to a random address? I don't want to burden anyone else with those shitcoins  Cheesy
Yes, you can remove those dead tokens out in your wallet, or you can just hide it in your wallet, in my case I'm using imtoken wallet 2.0 with hiding option so I can hide those dead, spam and shitcoins tokens out of my sight because if you send it to random addresses you will spend for the gas fees so it is not practical base in my opinion.
1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your loss at an acceptable level on: April 22, 2020, 02:26:48 PM
I have not seen a trader that do not lose sometimes, i may be new to the forum but been learning before now. it has nothing to do with sentiments but traders have to learn to accept trades the way it is, without attributing loss to any factors; as it leads to more rekts.

Always accept the market as it is without blaming any factors.
Always dyor too
Yes mate your right for me losing is part of the game while doing trading, I'm a day trader since 2017. Since then I have been losing many times already but I never give up, because I know those losses will be recovered soon if I will not quit in trading which is right base on my experience my Loses was recovered and also gaining some profit. thats why never give up just focus on what you are doing and set aside your emotions remember always trust your instincts.
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chainlink and Tezos have increased by more than 150% - Will the uptrend continue on: April 22, 2020, 02:12:27 PM
I think Tezos can sustain its momentum, while ChainLink is also doing great. I believe that the two promising cryptocurrencies will continue its rally for the rest of 2020 and beyond. Besides in the strong market pressure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tezos and chainLink were able to sustain its growth despite in this challenging times.
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does success mean? on: April 21, 2020, 02:57:05 PM
In my opinion, the word success has a two definition but it depends on the perspective of the people involved with that particular project its a kind of partiality involving the results if the target was achieved in the prescription period or even the development was done slowly but it was completed within schedule I think it was also considered a partial success too so the bottom line here is the results.
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really revolutionary? One attack after another. on: April 20, 2020, 12:40:40 PM
We all know that a few months back we had Flash loan attacks costing millions by exploiting bZx protocol. Now, looks like a DeFi protocol, dForce has lost over 99 percent ($25 Million) of its assets in an attack Saturday night.
More info: https://www.coindesk.com/attacker-drains-decentralized-protocol-dforce-of-25m-in-weekend-attack
So is DeFi really a revolutionary idea as some claim?
I believe in the idea of Decentralized Finance or Defi and I think it was an innovative finance option. The main idea is revolutionary because it will create a chain of a Decentralized Finance protocol and not just relying on the old traditional financing scheme. But still, all systems are subjected to flaws and errors. thats why I believe in the saying " No system is perfect, All is subjected to flaws" I think that's the reason (flaws) Only the system is vulnerable but the idea of a Decentralized Finance is great and timely. But I don't leave any possibilities that it may be an inside job who knows!
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is your expectation still high on the halving on: April 20, 2020, 12:04:33 PM
We have a lot of expectations in the halving in fact our expectations are very high before this pandemic especially those new in the market and the first time to experience halving, now is your expectation still high in the coming halving even if we are in the middle of a pandemic.
Honestly speaking mate, I don't think that the upcoming Bitcoin Block Reward halving can bring any change or relevance into the crypto-market, As we can observe today the cryptocurrency industry has changed a lot compared to the previous halving events before, Thats why I believe there's nothing special, about the upcoming Bitcoin Block, Reward halving. especially that we are still in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic and most of the investors are very cautious when it comes to investing their money.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Up or Down, People Hodl on: April 19, 2020, 03:09:07 PM
Is that data is accurate? If yes, let us compare the market movement in the first quarter of 2020. as we can see, the withdrawals and deposit ratio was already near equal but still more deposits than withdrawal in terms of volume, people still hold, compared to last quarter of 2019, but I'm not wondering why the statistics are pointing out that gap? because it is the time that the COVID-19 pandemic was already wreaking havoc around the world. that was triggered a massive sell-off and then who's still holding, whales?
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will another altcoin rise to overtaken Bitcoin? on: April 19, 2020, 02:52:19 PM
Taking into consideration the nature and redundancy of Bitcoin technology and the difficulty in scaling, I am very curious to know if Bitcoin protocol will be dropped one day and another coin build to take its place. because now it's almost like the redundancy of Bitcoin and the time it takes for a transaction to be processed is part of what is affecting its mainstream adoption as a currency. please share your thoughts.
If we going to consider all other aspects in the crypto industry everything happens in the way of surprises sometimes even without a particular reason just like a pump and dump event. So I think dethroning Bitcoin is highly possible, but somehow it would not happen easily because bitcoin as a pioneering crypto-currency has already built a foundation that has not easy to destroy that was my opinion.
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on stable coins? on: April 18, 2020, 01:33:19 PM

Hello Crypto friends!

Recently i have known about tether and also facebook libra.

Is those worth investments or waste investments.......?

Because if facebook libra is stable coin then it is wrong investment choice because many crypto investors look for profit coins i mean unlike stable coins they will like coins which get profits.

In my opinion stable coins are bad to invest.

But facebook will change their decision regarding the libra stable coin or the libra coin will also like another tether.

Thanks!
You are right in some points, all those fiats backed stable-coins are not a good investment because it will not give you much profit. If that is what you mean, but if you are using the fiat back stable-coins for trading will it is not bad at all, since it can be traded in other stable-coins also, But there is another form of a stable-coin that was backed by 99.99% pure gold Like Gold Storage (Gold Token) if you ask me? I think it was a good investment because it was backed by real gold, with a real-time verifiable Gold Bullion storage in the BullionStar vault in Singapore and its price was pegged to the Gold market price. and it has good liquidity but you need to make up your mind if you need to invest in the volatile cryptocurrency or in the stable-coins back by gold, it's all up to you.
1478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next monster on: April 18, 2020, 01:11:37 PM
I've been reading the archives of this forum over the past few days for the first posts about Ethereum, Binance, XRP etc.

Many posters calling them scams and shitcoins initially and a number of posters praying for Ethereum to get to $10 so they would become millionaires. I want people to look back at this thread in years to come and highlight the posters that predicted the next huge altcoins and it would also be good to see what people are investing in outside the top 100.

I'll start - NULS.

Maybe the best tech I have come across with an extremely dedicated team and great community. With it's easy to use staking platform, chain factory and Nerve - the decentralised digital asset service network I think this coin will start making moves into the top 20 over the next year. Constantly ranked in the top 10 projects on CCID (China based crypto ranking) it's only a matter of time before this project explodes.

Let me know your dark horses for the next big altcoin..
Based on my experience that happens in 2018-2019 respectively. I also pick my so-called altcoin darkhorse, but it gives me nothing in return. other than that it was also cost me some burden because the money that I was invested to buy those altcoins is from a loan and until now it wasn't fully paid yet. I think I've already learned my lessons now, thats why today I'm very careful when it comes to investing especially in altcoins.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Make the Move on: April 17, 2020, 10:22:52 AM
Made a move yesterday after coming across few threads about coinomi wallet in wallets thread of this forum, missing funds, stolen recovery seeds, some said it's coinomi team, some blame SSL but I don't want this to happen to me, I finally switched to Trust wallet even though it's not fully open source, I hardly heard anything bad about the wallet.
I think there are many wallets to choose from other than Trust wallet or Coinomi, I'm using a lot of cryptocurrency wallets before like the Atomic wallet, Imtoken wallet 2.0, Magnum wallet, Ethos, and many more so far I never encountered any problems regarding missing tokens, compromise seed Phrases, etc. thats why I'm thankful that I choose the better wallet which is not letting me down.
1480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: April 16, 2020, 03:11:39 PM
Well, thanks for your effort mate for making this thread and share your thoughts about the right mindset while doing trading, Honestly speaking I'm also a small scale day trader I'm doing it in a daily basis sometimes I gain some profit but most of the time it's just break-even or just small and just enough for my fees because I never let my holdings stayed in Bitcoin since I'm afraid that it will be devalued because of the fluctuation thats why I frequently converting it into a USDT for safer value on the next day. In my experience since 2017, most of the time my wrong moves/calculation is giving me so much stress that was triggered by my emotion that results in a loss.
