This is still early in the season and this is also Napoli's first defeat so why do you have to always compare the present and the past when coached by Spalletti, of course Napoli will not be as strong as last season when coached by Spalletti but I think the Napoli coaches are now trying to maintain performance this team, I think even though it is not as strong as last season but Napoli's performance has not decreased that much. Napoli fans' expectations that are too high will certainly make it difficult for Rudi Garcia to make Napoli much stronger than last season. Girona's performance this season has surprised me. This team is now at the second place in the points table . We don't usually think of Girona as a strong team. And in the last season too, the team finished tenth in the table. However girona played very well in the first four matches. Despite drawing the first match, Girona won the next three matches. Girona picked up points against the likes of getafe, Real sociedad and sevilla . These opponents are not too weak. Girona's defense is very strong. In these four matches they have scored 7 goals, but conceded only two goals. Girona's performance is very stable due to their strong defense. My guess is that Girona will stay in the top four of the table for quite some time.

Seeing Manchester United and Chelsea next to each other on the standings makes me laugh and it seems that even the expectations that the public wants will be fed up with the results they got earlier this season. When Ronaldo joined Saudi Leageu many people were saying he was getting crazy and Saudi Leageu wasn't a good place for a player like Ronaldo because he can play in much better teams than a team like Al Nasr. ~  I think joining the Saudi League was the best decision of Ronaldo's career. Many say Ronaldo joined the Saudi league for money. Money is definitely needed for living. But I wouldn't say that Ronaldo went to Saudi Arabia only for money. Ronaldo is now about 39 years old. And at this age, Ronaldo will not play well in the Premier League or in a competitive league like La Liga. Also Ramos has not got a team this season. He was one of the best defenders in the world. But no one is interested in taking Ramos into the team this season. If Ronaldo did not go to the Saudi League, then maybe no team in the Premier League, Serie A or La League would be interested in taking Ronaldo to the team. Ronaldo was forced to retire. The 4th T20 match at Nottingham, was won by New Zealand. They chased the target of 175 runs in 17.2 overs. Three of the New Zealand batsmen including Tim Seifert , Glenn Phillips and Mark Chapman scored 40+ runs but none of them was able to reach the half century. With this win the T20 series between the two team is drawn. The first two matches were won by England and it seems that England will easily win the series but all the credit goes to the new Zealand team, who fought back and won the last two matches and leveling the series. Next we will see the ODI matches between the two teams that will begin from 8 September. Both teams will play four ODIs between them and I am siure it will be an exciting series to watch. What a turnaround! New Zealand is indeed a great team, and they made an impressive comeback. Tim Seifert, Glenn Phillips, and Mark Chapman really put their best with the bat, and the spinners did a fantastic job with the ball. This is called teamwork, and the black caps played exceptionally well. It's a fantastic win and a great result for the series. Let's hope we'll witness the same spirit in the upcoming ODI series! I didn't think New zealand would be able to draw this series after losing the first two matches by a huge margin . New zealand lost the first two matches by big margins. But then the New zealand batsmen made a great comeback. We have seen very good performances from the New Zealand batsmen in the last two matches. They have batted responsibly. However, the series was undoubtedly very competitive. Every match was enjoyable. England's poor batting in the last two matches surprised me a lot. Now it was waiting to see how England performs in the ODI series. I would expect a better performance from England in ODIs. |
