The attack power on Dortmund's front line is very weak

It is the truth that Dortmund's front line isn't as strong as Bayern Munich considering a possible title race. Especially thanks to the addition of Kane to the team Bayern Munich are far stronger in the attacking line than all the remaining teams in the Bundesliga. On the other hand Dortmund have added Füllkrug to their squad right before the transfer window ended.

This transfer should make their attacking line more credible at least. Because as you can remember Füllkrug was the top scorer of the league last season.

Considering this I think Dortmund can at least improve their results by the upcoming matches and be good enough to fight for second place in the standings.

As this stage it looks like Dortmund should have invested more. But the season has only just begun and a lot can still happen.
In any case, they made some money again today. Thorgan Hazard has moved to Anderlecht. He had been with Dortmund since July 2019. But Dortmund have not been interested in him for a long time so the transfer is understandable.

Edin Terzic understands the logical system of the club, he's been a longterm coach and understands specifically how the team operates. Borrusia Dortmund is lucky in such a way that they have talented players from there academy who will deliver the club interms of difficult times. Borrusia Dortmund have no issues with players, they only selects the best players and triggered their sell clause before anyone would even notice, there potential player is already on the market. They have no interest in restructuring there club into a winning team, title contender just as Bayern Munich.

 The Dortmund team don't seem to be very strong this season going with their performance in their last two matches, for a team that has good number of quality players the coach and the entire team should be under pressure because their performance has been quite disappointing especially them picking only two points in two games. They are in the 9th position which is true but they may drop more points against a strong Frieburg team who's a bigger opponent with more home advantage to win unless Dortmund will be more improved otherwise they shouldn't expect nothing but a defeat and more chances to be in the 10th or 11th position in the league table. You'll be suprised how You'll see them at the top four in the middle of the season or towards the end, one thing i like this team is that, even when they're not fully inform they'll always look for a way to quality for the Champions league and if you noticed them last season they were very competitive and almost won the league, anyways they're still unbeaten this season and even though they got two points from the matches they drew it's still better than losing both matches which would had probably landed them at 16th or so, i believe the league just started and they've only played three matches and just four points away from the first and second position Stuttgart and Leipzig who're in the 3rd and fourth position are just gaping them with a point which is very easy for Dortmund to meet up to and i believe that after the international break we'll see a different Dortmund again Frieburg,  and hopefully they'll win the match even though they're playing from away.

Borussia Dortmund is a very good team. This is a team that have transfer structure, they don't just spend on player that don't worth. Though right now the club is going through a rehebilation process . They brought in Sébastien Haller, who scored couples of goals for the team .

Moreover they have the like of Marco Reus  who is an excellent player to the team so I see them going far in the German Bundesliga this season and also in the UEFA champions league. Possibly winning it.

For this edition of the Champions League, Dortmund, who are in group F, will certainly have difficulty qualifying from the group phase to the last 16, the presence of PSG, Milan and Newcastle is the cause. Dortmund's chances of qualifying are very small even for the runner up position, unless PSG and Milan experience a decline in performance.

Even though they have not been defeated in their first three matches in the Bundesliga, Dortmund cannot yet be favourites, especially in the Champions League.

One thing about Dortmund is that they're a big team but they don't really take major competitions very seriously, they just love to qualify for the top four and showcase their younger talents for top club to come them for a huge fee, that's what's been going on in the club for years now and if you noticed they've helped in developing many current top class players including, Haaland and Jude Bellingham  not to talk of several other top players in previous times.
 In the Bundesliga they're a strong team and on of the threats to Bayern Munich which has been their arch rivals over the years, and though they're not really performing as expected in their past three matches but soon we'll begin to see a turnaround and they'll start performaning brilliantly, whether they'll reach the round of 16 I the Champions League, that I'm not very sure yet, but the group they're in is very tough and the only club that won't really stress them much is Newcastle but I don't think they'll stand a chance against PSG or Acmilan, maybe if they step up but not with this current form.

They were just lucky or Freiburg were in their poor form earlier this season, if you take a closer look at the statistics then you will understand that Stuttgart win isn't a win that stems from their great game. They don't dominate from any side, let's say one of the sides they control.

Ball possession? No, they even only have 48% there.

Attempt shot? Of course not, Freiburg played more dominantly in attack, which is why I say that Stuttgart was just lucky.

It's a surprise in football and things like this can happen.
Looking at the statistics I think it is quite comparable but indeed the condition of the Freiburg defense is quite different in this match, especially after Freiburg conceded 2 goals, they went all out in attack, which in fact for the 3-5 goal it happened because of Freiburg's own mistakes because they left their defense line too empty and fast counterattacks through direct passes were all successfully maximized into goals by the players from Stuttgart.
But indeed for Stuttgart's quick counter-attacks this must be thumbs up in this match because they really played very well even though this is a surprise and very rarely things like this happen but they need to celebrate this victory.

Maybe they thought they were able to suppress Stuttgart after changing their playing style, but in reality they made a fatal mistake. They (Stuttgart) are having a good start in this season, even in their next 3 matches they're still facing teams they are most likely to beat like Mainz, Darmstadt and Koln. Furthermore I feel that in January Dortmund can bring back Sancho because he’s flopped at Manchester United and his return could be a very big boost for them because he was an important player for them.

Victor Boniface is the most successful transfer this summer for Leverkusen. The reason is that currently he has scored 4 goals and 2 assists with Leverkusen and I think he will start to fill the Bundesliga top scorer this season. Last season, when he was still defending his previous team Saint Gilloise, he recorded a total of 22 goals in all competitions and as a striker he was also quite productive with 12 assists. I didn't expect Xabi Alonso to find this hidden gem and now Victor Boniface will be the focus for Leverkusen to achieve their targets this season, especially securing the champions league zone. But even if there is another target that is quite impossible, I think Leverkusen will become a new challenger for the Bundesliga title.

I wouldn't at all compare Bellingham with Haaland and also not confuse the recent success as a goal scorer with Bellingham being a full mode striker. There is some uncertainty surrounding the impending meeting between Dortmund and Freiburg, as previous head to-head results point to Dortmund possible superiority.
