1461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public Perspective towards Bitcoin on: April 21, 2023, 11:37:03 AM
Frankly speaking, the majority of people that in the public space is still thinking that bitcoin is for bad people in the society. They think that anyone who uses bitcoin is a bad person. So they do not see anyone who uses bitcoin as a good person. But that is a misconception of the whole thing and that is why serious orientation need to be given to the public space about the good aspect of bitcoin so that those who thought that bitcoin is a bad asset will be convinced to accept bitcoin if not people are still blindfolded with the Ponzi schemes which were rampart around the whole world. Some church pastors do not even want their members to go close to bitcoin because as for them using bitcoin is against the faith and it is a sin. And it is committed awareness orientation that can remove this barricade from the mentality of these people.

In our country, it is not directly reflected on the individual using it but the Bitcoin itself since they see it as a way to scam people. This, I think, is due to the cases of scam using bitcoin platform. It makes a bad image on it. Although, majority have awareness towards it, only half expresses interest in investing. I think these perspective on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can be turn into a good one if we let people see how advantageous to use it and making sure that it is secure enough through having deeper understanding of the processes in regards to this.
The most annoying aspect is that some people see investing in Bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme and have a bad experience with Ponzi, which has led them to not want to hear anything about Bitcoin. That is one thing I find annoying about people because they don't really know much about Bitcoin and they are already labeling it as a scam. Even in my country, there are many crimes of scamming people all in the name of Bitcoin. Who would have thought that El Salvador would embrace Bitcoin as a legal tender? With bitcoin, things will quickly improve over time.
1462  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Woman sells her child to repay loan on: April 20, 2023, 08:08:28 PM
I was at a loss for words when I first read this news because I believe that no amount of money can ever be equated to human life. Going to the extent of trading your child should not be an excuse to sell a child, and I have even witnessed situations where young mothers give birth and abandon the child anywhere, which makes me wonder what kind of heart these people have. Anyone involved in that act should be detained by human rights and brought to justice because they deserve it.
1463  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: April 20, 2023, 07:07:55 PM
Even if you have enough money to buy anything you desire, you should still set aside even a small portion of your wealth for the future. If you still want your money to work for you, you may always keep it in time-deposit accounts or on accounts that build interest over time (certain government-backed investment programs do this). Better to be safe than sorry because you never know when all of your money will be spent or when your investments will suffer. Furthermore, when contrasted to what you are actively investing in and increasing your money on, what do a few hundred thousand or even a few million dollars tucked away really mean? I believe it won't harm you if you keep it for security reasons.
I seriously agree with you no matter the amount of money in anyone's possession I always advise them to save I use to make reference to when I was in elementary school having a piggy bank and developed the habit of saving no matter how little it is, this has saved me several times and I think the fixed deposit is also a very good idea since there is interest attached to the whole saving and you won't have free access to it which is the goal you can keep topping it hope then at least at the end of the year you can withdraw your profit and keep the business going.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 20, 2023, 06:42:37 PM
Well Manchester City has the potential to secure 3 titles at once this season in the next 2 matches Man city will face an important match
The match against arsenal gonna be the most important match for manchester city.
Arsenal gonna face soton first before it will be meet manchester city. The win against arsenal will make manchester city able to take EPL trophy. All of manchester city fans are praying for soton to force arsenal to get draw again. It will be so good caused by the win agianst arsenal will be creating a huge gap.

FA Cup Semi-Final and Premier League matches against Arsenal if Man city can get through this match then the potential for a triple winner will be even greater.
It seemed to me that the match against arsenal is going to be easier than what we were thinking. Manchester city is always dominating the match. It would not surprise me to see that pep will be starting regularly to use its best squad for this season.
The chance to get treble winner is still there. Arsenal potentially makes it even possible. I can't even wait for manchester city to surpass arsenal very soon. This is going to be highly beneficial for all the citizens caused but most of cityzens were picking city to win the league
Yes. The most important match because both of them want to win the title, Manchester City will play with confidence because previously match Arsenal had unsatisfactory results, also Manchester City will play at home and I think Manchester City will be the favorite in that match. Southampton currently in the relegation zone, Arsenal shouldn't have any trouble against them, although Arsenal last two match ended with a draws results.
Since we only have the Premier League to contend for right now and Manchester City still has the Champions League, I don't want Arsenal to take any chances when playing against Manchester City. I think if Arsenal should win, it will result in one of the biggest celebrations after how many years they have really worked hard, and aside from Arsenal being the club I am supporting. Therefore, I don't want Arsenal to take any chances when playing against Manchester City as for me now the most crucial match is.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 20, 2023, 05:50:49 PM
Real and Man City were supposed to be the final match, but it just so happens that they will meet in the semi-finals... The second semi-final is also interesting because there will be a Milan derby, which is very hard to guess who can win... But I have no doubts that Real Madrid will play in the final...

Madrid is indeed reliable based on quality and experience but somehow I believe more in Manchester City
To be honest I'm tired of seeing Madrid dominance in the Champions League , I want to see a new winner this season
among other teams Manchester City is closer in my opinion but let's see how it ends.
And Manchester City, not Real Madrid, will be the next champion of the Champions League. Despite Real Madrid's dominance and experience in the champions league, Manchester City has a higher chance of defeating Real Madrid.
Real Madrid vs. Manchester City will be an interesting match to watch, and I can't wait to see how it turns out since Manchester City will play with all of their might to get revenge for their most recent champions league denial of lifting the champion league trophy at the hands of Real Madrid last season.

Manchester City is extremely good, especially Haaland, but even with that, it won't be an easy bone for real Madrid fans to chew given how scared and worried they are about them. Madrid really needs to be concerned. The two teams are strong, so I have a feeling that the game will end in a draw. However, since games like this are hard to predict, let's wait and see how the game turns out. Real Madrid has very good players like Karim Benzema.
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: April 20, 2023, 05:07:04 PM
One of the thing that made me to like Elon musk is that he knows how to paly his game very well. He uses I fluence as a billionaire and cryptocurrency to advertise his ambition and product. I know there are some persons who do not like him a lot but he is a wise man that knows how to get what he want at the appropriate time.
Although the way he uses cryptocurrency to advertise his product was very annoying but not withstanding, it does not concern us at all since we have our own research to make about any cryptocurrency coin we want to invest in.
Elon Musk is basically what we describe as an ICON in both our today's economy and also a whale in crypto space. He's keen on developing his Space X and boost his Tesla car model. He's too smart and probably got everything under control, investing in a lot and gaining alot from his set of investment, undoubtedly he have forseen the future and trying to be close to been in possession of what controls the world. Twitter is already in his possession, CEO of Dogecoin which he triggered the pump option for the project whenever he make tweets about it. Elon Musk is world richest man and have the power to overtake any opposition, He's always one step ahead.
Like I always say, Elon is a business and will act in his own best interests. When it comes to Dogde, after investing, he will want to receive a sizable return on his money. Another quality I admire in Elon is his ability to develop novel ideas that offer solutions to many global issues, such as Tesla's ability to reduce carbon emissions from other fossil fuel vehicles and his status as an influential figure, which benefits Dodge's bottom line. And everyone will do the same if we are to be in elon shoes.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 19, 2023, 10:21:44 PM
There is not much difference between Manchester City Arsenal's performance this season, and with the recent turnout of things it seems that Manchester City will find it impossible to test the 1st spot in the season once more after the last time they touched that point before sliding back to second, even though Manchester City have performed well in the premier league, but in the other league, they keep falling and losing to smaller clubs that are not up to their match in the previous season.
I'm a big Arsenal fan, but I believe Manchester City is currently superior to Arsenal. Arsenal has improved, but as long as they aren't confident in themselves to beat manchester city, there will always be a problem. I really think Arsenal needs to work on their confidence. I hope they're warming up when they next play Manchester City. This time, I want the fans of Manchester City to be sober because they are simply too arrogant. and all they say is that they have Haaland.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 09:48:43 PM
How is this Bayern-Manchester City  game goalless???
I mean city's Halaad just skyed a penalty which should have put them in front and killed the Germany teams of trying to get a comeback...

Leroy equally missed a very good chance which should have given them an early lead but seems both teams are playing it safe and doesn't paint a picture of agency.
It's a shame that Haaland missed this golden opportunity. for some reason I see the Man city players actually look very nervous and not confident in this match. even though on aggregate they are safe enough so even playing openly will not be a problem for them as long as they also balance with a good defense like in the first leg. because if they keep allowing Bayern to attack in this game then I think there will be an opening at some point for Bayern to have a goal.
And Haaland missing the penalty shot could have happened to any best player, I could tell by their performance that they lacked confidence, and I believe that was the case even with Haaland for losing a penalty At the end of the game, it was a draw, but on the basis of the aggregate, Manchester City won, Benfica was playing against Inter from the start I already know that teams like Benfica won't advance. and Bayern had plenty of chances to have won wondering what was stopping them, having six shots on target was a very good attempt to win against manchester city.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 02:07:05 PM
Real Madrid awaits tonights winner in the game between City and Bayern Munich, of course Pep's men are already 3-0 up, and have one foot and a half in the CL SF, i don't see a way back for Bayern Munich, thus it's going to be City v Real Madrid in the SF, and i don't think Real Madrid are going to eliminate them like they did last season. City made quite a lot of errors in that game with Real Madrid last season, they failed to score more goals in the first leg, and they failed to defend well in both legs, this season they have a goal machine in Erling Haaland, and their defense are at their best in this period, City are going to be in this season's CL final in Istanbul.
Football is full of surprises and shocking results but I don't see a way Bayern Munich would be able to cancel the 3:0 established lead by Manchester City. Thomas Tuchel might be a fine manager but he just got employed and he's still getting to know his players, so I don't think they can get pass City. Like you said, it's going to be a Madrid vs City semifinal and Manchester City would have another opportunity to right their wrongs against Real Madrid in their last champions league outing. It's going to be a great encounter.
I firmly concur that foreseeing how a game will conclude is not at all simple, and I am confident that the game won't go well for Manchester City. Bayern Munich might not be as good as Manchester City right now, but it doesn't surprise me to see them defeating City. Not all matches surprise me again, and Chelsea is a good match to bet on. I read a post that claimed Chelsea needed the advice of the former owner to succeed, but I think that's absurd. I also noticed the players' frustration while they were playing, and they really need to go work on themselves.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 09:40:04 PM
It was a strong start for Chelsea, but they can't get away from the fact that their hopes of winning trophies have been dashed by Real Madrid, and this victory had a significant impact on both Chelsea fans and the club as a whole. In addition, Rodrygo's two goals against Chelsea highlighted how badly all of Chelsea's previous defeats have damaged their self-confidence. However, it was a fantastic match for both teams.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 07:58:34 AM
Frank Lampard might be a good player for Chelsea in the past, but I do not think he is ready to lead Chelsea as a manager yet. Chelsea have kept on losing games recently despite Frank Lampard putting in his best effort to try and improve the team result, I guess Real Madrid might be too strong for Chelsea to overcome and we might see Chelsea losing another game today.
Apart from Lampard, I don't think Chelsea has been lucky with the coaching staff; even Potter gave it his all, but I believe Lampard has been the club's caretaker until they find another coach is not doing his job well and the club is really in a very bad shape, and I think this is one of the worst seasons for Chelsea. For the fans, today's game should prepare them for more heartache because there is no miracle Chelsea can pull off to win again.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 18, 2023, 07:12:06 AM
Based on the topic, if you think you don't have proper education on Bitcoin, the internet is there for everyone to try and make research to know what is happening so far I'm the crypto market. We are twenty first century and is not the time when we will be telling people or trying much to teach tell all about Bitcoin and what Bitcoin is capable of doing in there life.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe the OP wants more formal education on Bitcoin, but I believe for now you can easily access books online and there are many videos on YouTube to help you understand, and the most interesting part of it all is the forum where we have a technical section and many more that gives you access to an unlimited amount of information. I believe for now that should be sufficient for you, and I just feel like we have everything we need because the internet has made everything simple. compared to the past years were is only physical books.
1473  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: April 18, 2023, 06:25:47 AM
Let us be realistic to ourselves, is good to extreme to wait for government to make provision of every in a country, sometimes when we graduate from higher colleges we expected government to create employment opportunities but in some points government keep adamant of making employment be visible and available to the mass,  on my instinct I said without government employment man can survive, I started a popcorn 🍿 business which I managed alone but right now have workers under me which I'm paying and now planning to establish another business.

the ideas you have can make you and other people survive, by working on products that you manage other people are able to provide life for their families without having to wait from the government. I think having ideas and ideas is more important than expecting jobs from the government. The logic is like this, if the government opens up job opportunities in general, will every applicant be accepted? So that's why in my opinion, it's better for us to create jobs ourselves to help anyone who needs a job without having to wait for it from the government.
While it may not be particularly simple, most regions don't even appear to have guardians like the government existing, instead, all the elected officials seem to be concerned about is their own interests and their own pockets. I can still clearly recall how during the covid 19 in my region, all that people could do was support one another. However, a very long time ago, people lost faith in the government, and there has been a serious problem with the rate of unemployment rising with a large number of recent graduates. The best we can do is to empower ourselves and start a small-scale business to be able to feed ourselves.
1474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I love Bitcoin on: April 18, 2023, 05:55:30 AM
With bitcoin, one can get hold of his or her assets without government interference or controlled by any third party system unless you transfer to exchange to keep under their custody or otherwise.

Many things have changed most people when they are successful in Bitcoin, not only do they get what they want, fortunately they can have a very valuable asset (Bitcoin), and yes when they already have Bitcoin which is safe for themselves and not involved whoever he is an individual, government or organization, maybe the journey of many people now continues to look for Bitcoin for their assets later.
Despite bitcoin being a good asset, it also has its own risk and every investment has its own risk, but the people who are really successful in it have invested early and were determined to trust and hold and actually benefited. Most importantly, we are to learn to take a risk, and in the past few years, bitcoin has attracted a lot of attention. Bitcoin is for everyone, and once you have the resources, you can invest in it, and set certain goals to accumulate.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 05:29:48 AM
I don't expect Chelsea to make a comeback honestly. The players skills and concentrations are limited from a long time this season and I doubt Lampard's effect could be seen that early.
In the other hand, Real Madrid are the king of comebacks at Champions League by far, how could they let Chelsea pass Wink
In my opinion Napoli vs Milan will be more interesting to follow since Napoli could win that game and even pass to the next stage before playing penalties tho.
I think so with Chelsea has difficult possibilities for come back on second leg because still on underperformance, last games in Primer League Chelsea defeated by Brighton Albion and not matter with playing home. Real Madrid has opportunity continue winning trend for second leg and I sure more than 75% chance for  Real Madrid will qualify to the next round.

Chelsea still not in the winning trend last three matches, after losing from Real Madrid in Champion League they have loss from Wolves and last games Brighton Albion defeated Chelsea in domestic league. Crucial situation with  Chelsea right now not only chance for qualifying to semifinal but also their position finish on top fourth standing in Primer League and get Champion League spot next season almost close.
Napoli has a good chance of winning. Osimen, a youthful and energetic player for Napoli, truly goes above and beyond to help his team win. I have faith in him to do what is necessary tonight, and if it ultimately results in a penalty, the game will evenly become a 50/50 game. As Chelsea's defense is a porous sack that can be breached at any time and Real Madrid is playing Chelsea for the second time following Madrid's victory, there is no doubt that Real Madrid will still win. I am confident of their success.

Liverpool's performance isn't certain this season... I won't bet money on them even if I had the ballsiness to do so...
Leeds are one of their worst enemies ......
Indeed, their performance has been very inconsistent. Sometimes they play really well, even to the point of slaughtering opposing clubs with quite a lot of scores, like this time they won from Leeds with a score of 1 - 6. They were very productive this time. however, sometimes they play very badly, even losing to a small club or not being able to win even though they have more chances This is very inconsistent. try if they are more consistent in a better game every competition, I'm sure if they can be in a higher position in the standings.
Me personally  was entertained,  One of the cheapest games was Liverpool versus Leeds, and I knew the outcome even before the game began. I wasn't expecting many goals, but a score of 6:1 wow had me pulling off my Leeds jersey. Salah scoring twice was expected because I enjoy watching him play, and the majority of the goals were well-finished. Diogo Jota also contributed one assist and scored twice. And another thing is that this game will cover for there  lost games if I can remember  very well Liverpool  did similar  to Manchester United.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 17, 2023, 08:23:16 AM
I was impressed with Manchester United's performance yesterday doh Nottingham was just another cheap club for United to crush yesterday and the chances of United scoring more than two goals were all saved or kicked away but even at that am impressed, and Arsenal underestimated west ham and they did arsenal dirty if not for my love for arsenal I was angry at yesterdays performance I just expected more from them, and Liverpool playing against Leeds today is already a sure victory for Liverpool and am sure salah is going to score am certain of that.
1479  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 17, 2023, 08:05:24 AM
For any person, when the big money you used in a business that you expected to double or more profit on your capital or investment goes to nothing, you will feel depressed or softened of course.
But anyway, although it's not easy to accept but we have to overcome that, for sure there are still many opportunities for us to correct and fix the things that are wrong. Now, if you invest again, and you see bitcoin I think at this point you are definitely going to hold bitcoin in the future.
When you lose money or rather your investment yields nothing, it can be very depressing. If you want to invest in any kind of business, risk management should be carefully considered because the reality is that the notion that a business does not come with its own risk is dangerous. For myself, I calculate my profit and loss both ways. Recently, a friend of mine who sells eggs complained about how eggs are spoiling because of the hot weather and still a small-scale business to be able to afford a good cooling system for the eggs.
1480  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 17, 2023, 07:50:19 AM
I don't really believe that saving is wasting, with my point, saving helps to reach and achieve plans towards a goal, many that save have plans and also have focus in life and they also desire to become something good in life and plan for their future, people that save have strong mind to becoming who or what they wanted to be. It also shows that those that saves have plans for Future.
I agree with you, I don't believe saving is a waste of time. It depends on how much money you make, some people make good money but have no savings. The worst scenario is when there is an emergency and you have no money to deal with it. Therefore, I always advise having at least some savings, no matter how small. I recall when I was in elementary school, I used to have a piggy bank that I used to save to buy whatever I wanted at the end of the year, ever since then, if you want to spend all of your money in one place, you won't hesitate to do it. Have the spirit of saving money in one area, since there are finance apps that do auto-save I saw a post like that it also helps.
