I think they are. It's a bit less convenient on the negative side since you have to remember that -0.2 goes to -0.11 and not to -0.29 but we're less likely to use those negative ranges so we should be ok.

what about like zero is a double prize again, but then it would go

-0.2     -0.2 to -0.11
-0.1     -0.1 to -0.01
0          0
0.1       0.01 to 0.1
0.2       0.11 to 0.2

thus simplifying it

Well every time I tried doing solo mining I knew the risks of betting money on hashrate. Same as dicing.

I just wanted to see if I could beat the odds Cheesy

Did like 5 BTC solo mining, recovered 4. So I wasn't too mad..

I am mining with an antminer at this pool ant a U3 and have bought a few more antminers to point at it I was going to ask,  I use the CPU miner on my laptop when I am out in the cold and fancy warming up my lap a bit, would LOL if it finds a  block but I use it as a lap heater : )

Well good luck. Your computer will be burned out if you need to use it tho. And as many others have said, it is not recommended.

it's your game, but what you propose would make it way too complicated, in my opinion.

I agree with the more complicated part - not with "your game" - I think it's everyone's game Smiley. That's why I'm asking for ideas, maybe someone can come up with something interesting here.

i meant that you were the one paying so far, but I get your point re "everyone's".
maybe it is time for participants to pitch in 0.01 or 0.005 (or a buck or two) or limit the final to $30 in btc, for example.
it might deter some, though
i think we need to structure it a bit different i have a few ideas. i will write them up after we close this set of picks.

At this point everyone just jumps at the very start... I almost think you could do football squares instead and have a great turnout.

So that it becomes fair for everyone, and it wouldn't mean 10 participants in 10 minutes

It would be nice if everyone would denote their bids as: "bithalo 14 @ .03". Makes it a lot easier for me as I don't need to copy two items or write your username down by hand. Yes, it's not a lot of work, but imagine how I felt during the sniping in the last auction, haha.

I know I'm a newbie on here but I would be in for a combined ship too if that's cool. Any idea an approx cost or how many people are planning to ship to US?

The breakdown will be the shipping costs from denarium to mitchell to me will be split among all of us. The rest will be individual, and if it is one or two coins each I'll have padded yellow envelopes for small orders that'll be like $5 shipped with tracking. Flat rate boxes for those with more. I'll probably buy a small digital scale to get exact numbers on postage.

Also it is something like 50 euros to ship all the way to me, down from 66.

I used to run a signature that said I would split any referrals 50/50 on freebitco.in and freedogeco.in.
Only got 8 referrals over 8 months, but it is possible, just not easy.

I would assume you can run the same for a casino type, just have to have like terms and conditions or something. For instance if you bid so and so I will pay you back _% that I get from referrals.

Also had gotten more as my trust ranking went up, so I guess that would be a bonus to trying to get people to signup.

I think blackjack game is a good method to earn some bitcoins,but play only for short time and don't bet more than can't afford to lose.

There are some skills involved in the blackjack game. You need to master those skills and with some luck to win. Most of us cannot win.

Luck is not really effected, your skill is can decide your winning or not, this is what i like in blackjack game, you need learn and got an experience until you can be a master of blackjack.

If you think blackjack is a 100% game of skill you are just simply not smart.  Although Blackjack does have *some* skill it is mostly calculating your odds of what card to hit on, or what not to hit on.  That simply being said doesn't mean the game is skill.  It is about 5-10% skill 90-95% luck. 

According to blackjack rules, the house still has an edge against you. You do need some skills in the play, but statistically, the house will win.

Even with a house edge, you can still beat Blackjack(not as much anymore) by counting cards.  That actually gives you an edge over the casino and thus it is highly frowned upon but it is still possible

Most gambler cannot achieve that. That is the reason why casinos still offer blackjact gambling, because it is still profitable for them.

Statistically speaking, I believe Blackjack has the highest probability to win in a regular casino.

Online dicing at 0.1% is the closest you can get to having a 50% chance.

Slots, Roulette, Video Poker, and Dice in my opinion are more games of chance.

While regular casino blackjack and poker are more counting cards or being able to read opponents.

I wouldn't mind selling the coins for $80 shipped. Only because most of the Bitcoin coins are already owned and are harder to obtain.

I am not ready to go to $80 just yet, but I would do $140 for all of your #26 and the Bitcoin.

Is it an impossible dream to give solo mining a go with 2TH with how the network is going atm?
Anything is possible, people in this thread have solved with an s3+ when the network was at 350PH.
Just depends how long you run.

Looks like you might find a block in roughly 6,000 days assuming the network continues at the same rate.
