any news ? why not to take action for lawsuit. it 's a shame for bitcoin community Huh

we need to learn from our mistakes.

we still dont know what happened. Finally Jon will have to explain it. Im waiting a bit more.
Like Mark K, you mean?
Theres no incentive for Jon to explain, and no consequence if he stays quiet.

I had an asset sent to one of my wallets on nxtblocks.info, how do I go about sending the asset back out?
I havnt tried it via nxtblocks, if thats indeed possible, but you can send your asset via the 'My Assets' tab in the wesley client.

You hacker not a speek a da engish so gud. He should probably get better at that if he hopes to fool anyone in the future.
I agree with you ^^.
maybe he will have more motivation now.

who cares. this is all dumb. just use escrow and none of this matters.
I agree with Anon136 - always use escrow!
you can see proof that my account peled1986 was hacked here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=522102.msg7555368#msg7555368
At time of this post, you have 10 posts, newpeled1986........Its not going very well for you, is it?

sorry stereotype. I don't understand your question.
I don't want to add more irrelevant posts to this thread.
just to warn people not to trust peled1986 and his trust points because my old account got hacked.
I think that is the minimum responsibility i have to other BTT users.

more proof here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=522102.msg7555253#msg7555253

I am also an escrow here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=649211.0 (all ready PM NTX to take peled1986 off the escrow)
The question was rhetorical, as the events confuse the reality. lophie beat me to it re resolution (past addresses).

Edit: what mod did you report this to?

They should do better video on how to use the system, cuase the wording is confusing as well as the functions.
Which seems to me, a huge barrier for more adoption. Which is a shame, as the devs have produced some clever tech here that has the capability for great things.....but not in its current form IMO. Way too many skips n jumps, with user feedback that just raises more questions and points to understand.
Ive spent a total of ~6 hours over 3 sessions playing with this since its release. The last time i logged in was some weeks ago, to see yet again, a crossed order book. I logged out 1 minute later, and i dont really know if and when i will be logging back in. Because for me, all i want to do is buy and sell assets and currency easily and quickly in a way that does not require me to redefine very simple processes of buy/sell, that we are all very used to.

Im just wondering who the intended end-users were for this, as currently, it feels like some sort of flashy bespoke niche corporate network back-end system, and not intended for general use.

I was a burner, and have every wish to see this as successful, so the above is intended to be constructive, and certainly not troll-like.

Check out the 'B33r&Mug' example near the bottom. Make that style up to 12 characters long, and you will only have reason to worry when quantum-computing is mainstream.

Please keep in mind that this site is from 2009. Nowadays gpu farms are used for password cracking which are a lot more efficient as a "pentium 100".

Fair point. And actually, the page wasnt able to note the amount of hashing power now available, due to a certain distributed network in 2014!

Best we stick with 30+ characters then, and/or more factors.  Tongue

This is where HardwareReviewer's Refund came from

Warning! this bitcoin address contains transactions which may be double spends. You should be extremely careful when trusting any transactions to or from this address.

Huh
Isnt that just a function of coinbase coins, moving through the address before they are fully confirmed?

UPDATE on http://nxtreporting.com

We just got again some nice updates:

* Check the bottom of the asset market cap: http://nxtreporting.com/assetcap.php we just got some totals over all assets: Let's check some numbers: We have a total market cap over all assets (not including the issuer account) of 26 million USD. That would place the Asset Exchange directly on place 8 on coinmarketcap.com!! Another value: A total trading volume over the last month of 1.7 million USD, on the asset exchange. Very promising!

* If an id is searched for, it shows now a message when there exist accounts and assets and transactions with the same id (that is rare, but happens) see http://nxtreporting.com/?a=12465186738101000735&c=USD for an example.

* The issuer account and the genesis account got a special mark in the shareholder list. Check Bithaus and LOVE

* Check the genesis account Smiley http://nxtreporting.com/?ac=1739068987193023818

Impressive stuff guys. Thanks for the time you have put into this.
1474  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The 94% Con by Jon Montroll on: June 20, 2014, 08:39:22 AM
Anyone have any news on this?

I've been trying to contact him for 2 weeks now and he hasn't been on bitcointalk for a while and does not respond to messages anymore.

I've begun my investigation and the lawyers are about to get involved.

I wish it didn't have to end this way, but he has given me no choice and no way to contact him.

I anticipate this will end pretty quickly with a personal bankruptcy declaration from ukyo while the rest of us divvy up what little assets he has remaining.

I imagine he has assets in bitcoin that he will not disclose. He is likely going to have to come up with a very good explanation for what happened to the ukyo.loan and bitfunder/weexchange money or he will be facing fraud charges in addition. It does not look good for him.

There seems to be at least a few people who are owed >100 btc. They are not going to sit around and let all that money disappear.

I hope for his own sake that he comes back and posts something here.
I fail to see how involving lawyers will achieve anything, than enriching the lawyers. Please spend any money that was going on lawyers, on funds to pursue Jon for the next year or so. Pursue, in this case, means doing everything possible to publish his day-to-day movements and business dealings. That also means getting up close and personal with recording equipment, and will be the only act of disruption that will give the owed people leverage, and a chance to 'negotiate' what closure looks like.
Jon has been acting out exactly what his lawyer has been telling him for +6 months, and he will 'win'....especially if you get another lawyer involved IMO.
1475  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 17, 2014, 07:41:21 AM
Any idea when I will be able to order a TREZOR?

i assume the lack of an answer means no
Can have my classic pre-order for 0.4btc if you want.

is it metal?
Its a 'classic', so its a plastic version.

Finally moving some NXT from the exchange to my wallet ..
Can I just create an additional NXT account with a different 'passphrase'
and just send some NXT between the two wallets to trigger the enhanced security
features or do I need a deposit from someone/where else ??

TIA

Triff ..
Thats fine....or a message, or a bid/ask or asset placement on the AE.

zumzero your are embarrassing yourself.

Suck it up, read some Lao Tsu, and hush for a bit.
Its like i am witnessing someone regress, day-by-day. I believe we are now currently down to an age, before ones self respect kicks in.
