1461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy holidays to all bitcointalk members.Check out my goofy bitcoin artwork. :) on: December 25, 2019, 09:32:33 AM
Happy holidays to all Bitcointalk members. Here's my silly bitcoin artwork.

I don't think this is art because basically art is the beauty of our own work, but we in this forum certainly respect each other for what you produce.

at the end of this year it's a bit sad for me because my family and I can only rest in this country because the cost is not enough to travel abroad, especially the price of bitcoin is currently declining which makes it impossible for us to travel abroad, but so far I am still grateful.
1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Your Privacy to ₿itcoin? on: December 25, 2019, 08:22:47 AM
Would you be willing to trade your location, name, and any other private and personal details over BTCitcoin? Yes? No? Why?
I know many of us have already submitted countless documents to various cryptocurrency exchanges just to pass their KYC process and comply with AML but how far would someone be willing to give up just to get a part of that precious BTCitcoin?

maybe in the future we will see all crypto exchanges will require us to commit KYC or AML even today some of their governments also ask local crypto users to do KYC on the grounds to avoid money laundering or other crimes. and now I have also done KYC on a number of local exchanges just because I am sure that local exchanges will maintain my privacy well and will not be misused.

Cryptocurrencies: A (Crazy) Decade in Review

The Bitcoin whitepaper was published by Satoshi Nakamoto on October 31, 2008. The following decade brought the growth of an entirely new industry and it’s been a wild ride filled with wealth, sorrow, and drama. Flash crashes, hacks involving hundreds of millions of dollars, illegal online marketplaces for drugs and weapons, all of it has led the massive growing industry we now know. As we near the end of the decade in 2020, let’s take a look back at where crypto started and its journey to where it is today.

This of course we can say is the beginning of the world of crypto and I think in the coming decades we will really see real crypto when mass adoption takes place around the world which will be the main payment for everyone, and it is very possible when that happens then the price bitcoin will go back up very high.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You selling to buy Xmas gifts or using bitcoins to buy Xmas gifts? on: December 19, 2019, 07:52:44 AM
So, watching the price of Bitcoin going down, made me think of reasons why this might be happening now.  Roll Eyes  I saw the news of the Chinese

scam and the coins being liquidated, but that sounds like a lame excuse for the price going down. A better reason might be that people are selling

coins or using coins to buy Xmas gifts. Let's be honest, it is that time of the year and people are going on holiday, so they need to dive into their

Bitcoin hoard to pay for that and also some Xmas gifts.  Huh

Are you using your coins to buy Xmas gifts and to pay for your holiday expenses?

indeed that might be true because at the end of the year some people will sell bitcoin or other coins to buy gifts for their families or go on holiday abroad because so far we have seen the decline in bitcoin prices always at the end of the year like last year.
Honestly for the end of this year I will not sell my coins to buy gifts because the current coin price is less stable and it is better for me to buy a gift using only cash.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 19, 2019, 06:40:18 AM
Bitcoin is a total worthless coin that is controlled by chinese miners that hate you.

Bitcoin cant do anything that ethereum can do much better.

It seems like now you are frustrated with the market price so you write in this thread that bitcoin is a worthless coin and is controlled by Chinese miners, but I think this is just your bullshit, because as far as we know nobody can control bitcoin at any time and you also say that bitcoin cannot do anything like ethereum, this is of course I totally disagree with you because from year to year if we see that all altcoin or ethereum is very dependent on bitcoin if bitcoin prices go up then all altcoin prices will also go up or vice versa.
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is very bad for the European crypto community! on: December 19, 2019, 05:34:46 AM
New anti-money laundering (AML) regulations are coming into force by January 10 in Europe. The rules, which address cryptocurrency companies for the first time, look set to have a large impact on the industry.

The Fifth Anti-Money Laundering Directive (5AMLD) is set to take full effect in less than a month. It was first detailed in May last year.

It means that they're clearly in a war against decentralization.

They are doing whatever it takes to "take over" and make centralized payments dominant once again.

Bitcoin was created for us to have no limits in cross-border payments. Now they're trying to take it away from us, because of KYC. There's very little freedom on how much BTC and altcoins are we gonna withdraw, especially within the European union.

It's just that these lawmakers are doing something to make sure we do not prosper, but only them.

now, of course, we are no longer surprised to hear about KYC on cryptocurrency because as far as we see today some governments in their countries have confirmed to verify KYC or AML for every crypto exchange user with the reason to avoid fraud and money laundering.
However, but I think this is not one of the reasons for the government to combat cryptocurrency decentralization but only to increase security for each user.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you Want from a secure wallet? on: December 11, 2019, 02:51:23 AM
the first time we wanted to learn crypto, of course the first thing we wanted was to keep our crypto wallet fully secure, like some wallets that currently have a 2-way security system to accept sending verification codes both on cellphones and with Google's authenticators.
and for now I don't want to try another wallet because I already use a local wallet and I feel very safe with that wallet.
1468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fleas are going down! on: December 10, 2019, 11:19:08 AM

Bitcoin fleas are back down! I am hoping that they stay down because these last few weeks have been painful.

calm down friend, don't worry too much about the current price of bitcoin and it's better you have to stay focused on your main work so that you don't get frustrated by thinking of unstable market prices in the past few days and I'm sure at the end of this month the price of bitcoin will return to normal as usual.
1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: France to launch their own cryptocurrency on: December 10, 2019, 09:05:36 AM
well, it seems like France will also launch their own cryptocurrency next year. it's funny that just year ago they despise cryptocurrency(article about it) and now they are launching their own cryptocurrency
and even teaching high school students about cryptocurrency(article about it) and preparing them for it. how things have changed in just a year Cheesy Cheesy

It seems like this incident is the same as in China in the previous year where their government really hates digital currency and but recently their government has announced that they will launch their own digital currency that works with blockchain technology, sometimes I also confused actually why some of their governments are so worried about cryptocurrency that they hate it and I'm sure in the future the government cannot avoid adopting bitcoin.
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 10, 2019, 06:41:30 AM
only stupid people who try to stop bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, don't need to worry about that many cases are crazier than this news and nobody has ever made bitcoin and crypto currencies fall, during adoption and many communities together with crypto currencies don't it would be possible for those anti-bitcoin to win the fight

yes of course, and I am very sure that bitcoin or cryptocurrency will slowly develop its adoption although now some of them are anti-cryptocurrency who want to inhibit the growth of crypto but in my opinion this cannot affect bitcoin at all to be worthless or die, because if we see it now that almost everyone and the community will continue to promote and support the development of crypto among them.
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: please help me about bitcoin atm! SCAM or No on: December 10, 2019, 05:15:29 AM
hi guys
one of my friends want to send me 30000$ bitcoin from america california with easybit bitcoin atm
but he  says you should send 700$ to atm bitcoin wallet to confirm transaction!

using bitcoin atm is probably one of the easiest ways to trade but it is also very possible for users to experience fraud honestly at this time I have never used bitcoin atm for transactions or other purposes.
But I am very sure what you say seems really a scam because so far I have never heard of such a thing if we want to send or receive bitcoin via atm, you should not send money to that friend so you won't suffer losses.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: December 10, 2019, 04:10:31 AM
It is nothing new that there will be more countries that will legalize and adopt cryptocurrency as an accepted payment system.
As more countries legalize and adopt crypto as a legal payment system, the power of crypto will increase and make it clear that these countries have the expected interests and welfare.

yes of course this is nothing new because previously there were also several countries that had legalized crypto payers,
But I am sure now adopters of bitcoin or cryptocurrency in bulk will be getting closer because some governments are now slowly starting to accept or realize that cryptocurrency is either used as a transaction tool or for payment in their country.
1473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Bitcoin or not on: December 09, 2019, 05:27:28 AM
I realy want to buy Bitcoin i have 5000$ give good idea plz

if you only have $ 5,000, you don't need to buy bitcoin first now because if you buy bitcoin with $ 5,000, you will only get around 0.66 BTC, in my opinion now you better buy altcoin like ETH and then trade to get profit from ETH so you can buy 1 BTC later from your trading profit.
1474  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2019,2020,2024 on: December 08, 2019, 12:41:59 PM
For December 31, 2019, we got a different price with each method, $10,600 and $8780 respectively.
For January 31 to February 2020. We got a price target of $21,000 and $20,200 respectively, a relatively insignificant difference.

bitcoin is one of the first cryptocurrency that is very famous after reaching the highest price between $ 20k at the end of 2017, then bitcoin experienced bearish in 2018 which made some bitcoin investors frustrated and they expect bitcoin prices to recover.
And I personally am very sure that in the future bitcoin can still touch the price of $ 20k until the end of the year even though current crypto price fluctuations continue.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The importance of bitcoins :) on: December 08, 2019, 08:27:48 AM
Time and again I hear people saying how it would be okay if they have the access to only*traditional money* but one should understand that time has changed and so have we , according to me Bitcoins now a days is indespensible, it's a part of society now , it's a new culture.

Speaking from my personal opinion I just wanted to hear what you guys think about it , why do you think it is so important ?

How have it shaped the society for you .

As for me it is an amazing source of Income , it may not be 100% what you could want , but it helps you get those late night pizzas I might say .
If you are a student it becomes even more necessary because as a student you are not allowed to work , all you could do is rely on it as an independent source of income apart from all the society ( don't know about other sources but in medical you are not allowed to work ).

Let's hear it from you .

I am sure that in the coming decade bitcoin adoption will occur and this will definitely benefit us.

And I think of course bitcoin is very important to us because by adopting bitcoin we will fully be ourselves in finances that cannot be manipulated or controlled by governments or centralized organizations, unlike fiat currencies that are easily manipulated by corrupt people with our finances.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the next decade, BTC and digital currencies will “fully” replace fiat? on: December 08, 2019, 06:55:11 AM
As for me, I think next decade would not be enough just yet for digital currencies to fully dominate, as most banks and people from around the world still prefer fiat more than Bitcoin, etc.

Yes, all of us are free to predict about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But for me, they’re just predictions. This world is unpredictable, as what I have said over and over again in my previous posts.

yes, of course, cryptocurrency will be the main payment flow for people around the world when changes in the world will use everything with blockchain technology and this will certainly make it easier for us to make transactions whenever we want, and but I don't think we can say that the Fiat currency will die or end when it all happens because I'm sure some people still need fiat currency to give to their children to buy snacks.
1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the world’s governments not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 08, 2019, 03:49:57 AM
I’ve recently learned the many advantages of cryptocurrencies and how they can revolutionize the way we use money around the world, so why are the world’s governments not adopting them to be used as a form of currency?

maybe the current government has not been able to accept bitcoin because they are very worried about some issues such as cryptocurrency in general often called vulnerable to hacking and cryptocurrency also cannot be controlled like they can control fiat currencies, of course this is a problem that is highly considered by the government if they want to use bitcoin.

And basically the government also really does not like something that can not be arranged.
1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Bitcoin 'QUANTUM PROOF'! on: December 02, 2019, 04:07:50 AM
in my opinion quantum computers will be a threat to blockchain or bitcoin technology because basically blockchain is only protected by public key cryptography, which is very easily solved by quantum supremacy.
and it is possible that in the future blockchain technology will have to adapt and transform with the supremacy of quantum computers.
1479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French National TV Starts Advertising Bitcoin on: November 30, 2019, 10:11:08 AM
It would really help them to explore more on Bitcoin aside from just traditional stocks.

I think in the current era if bitcoin ads on television channels are not very good because now not many people like watching television anymore because the technology is now more sophisticated and for example inserting bitcoin ads like on French television, of course only French people watch it, but it's better if they advertise bitcoin like a youtube channel that can be watched by everyone in various countries which is very helpful in promoting bitcoin.
1480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 30, 2019, 09:07:05 AM
It is impossible to prove that somebody is Satoshi.

I firmly believe that even if real satoshi turned up one day, people will also declare him Faketoshi.
This is so true.

Even if Satoshi presents his privatekeys, signs messages, shows his passwords, e-mail account accesses... it could be someone else who has all these privatekeys, passwords, accesses now.
He would only prove the ownership of these but it is impossible for somebody to prove that he is Satoshi.

why not possible? I think if Satoshi Nakamoto really came back, maybe he would do something different from what Satoshi is doing now, because I'm very sure if we make something, there will definitely be different methods that other people don't know to prove if it's true we what made it, maybe the real Satoshi Nakamoto would also do such a thing if he wanted to prove it.
