Did anyone grab Lakers +8.5 before it was announced Jazz would rest a few players? Spread went from Lakers +8.5 to +5.0 -> Lakers -1.5 -> pick'em -> back to Lakers -1.5, quite a lot of action.    I took the Lakers +3.5 @1.74 and Lakers betbuilder with totals O197.5 @1.70.

Looking out West, it seems only Pelicans have a shot at the 10th seed, with their recent nine-game losing streak, the Kings are almost certainly out of the picture.

A lot more interesting in the Eastern conference where at least 4 teams have realistic odds of making the play-in, and if i have to put my money on one team, i would take the Wizards who are on a nice little three-game winning streak, beating a team like the Jazz.

My main bet for today was supposed to be Portland's moneyline, but with Lillard not playing, i had to cancel that and pick something else.

Bulls with four straight losses, some of those coming to teams like Orlando and Minnesota, i have to say i'm super disappointed by them. LaVine will be out for a while due to health and safety bs, so Vucevic has to step up and be their focal point for the next couple of games, hence the over pts.

Grizzlies ml + Nuggets ml @ 1.98 won

Grizzlies and Bulls played just a few days ago, Grizzlies won comfortably by double digits with LaVine playing, can't see Chicago winning today, and besides Grizzlies have a tough schedule ahead and this a very winnable game. As for Houston, they were down 20pts at the half to Indiana just the other day, they are in full tank mode, i can't see anything other than the Nuggets winning by at least 10pts.

Yeah, it wasn't a good night for me, even though DeRozan got his 30pts/reb/ast, but inexplicably Toronto decided to show up and win, those bums are resting half of their squad for tomorrow's game with Orlando. I've been looking into betting on players who are playing against their former teams recently, and it seems to be working for the most part. DeRozan spent the majority of his career in Toronto, and despite the fact that they will be playing in Tampa today in front of virtually no fans, i believe he will want to put up good numbers. Raptors are resting guys again for no reason, Lowry and now Trent jr, so yeah...they are a joke; give me the Spurs and DeRozan to have an all-around game.

Reggie Jackson played six seasons with the Pistons before joining LAC. They had a decent run in Detroit, believe they made the playoffs a couple of times when he was there. He should be ecstatic to be playing against his former team. The Clippers are missing Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, which means more touches for him. I can't trust him with the points spread and that's why i went with assists, just over 1 per Q, seems good to me.

I have Suns on the moneyline ^w, it's probably a one or two-possession game, don't really wanna risk it there. I wish this was on TNT and not Portland, Phoenix has been super neglected this year, even though they have the second-best record in the league, they deserve more air-time on national tv imo.

Raptors are just a game or two out of the play-in tournament as of right now but they don't look like they care if they make it or not. Resting players for no apparent reason, they will be without both their starting guards Lowry and Van Vleet today, Bogdanovic is playing out of his mind right now, Young should be back he was just ruled out as i was writing this for Atlanta, Hawks got this.

George has been hot lately, he has scored over 30pts for LAC in their last three games, who will be without Kawhi tonight. I just hope this is not another blowout win so he can get enough shots (first game between these two Clippers won by 30+ pts). Pacers are also the team he used to play for, some extra motivation for him to put decent numbers on the board.

If the deal is signed and said transition period expires with Lore and Rodriguez becoming majority owners, be sure the NBA board of governors will approve a move to another city without any hesitation. Last summer, Kevin Garnett and a group of investors also tried to buy the Timberwolves, but Glen Taylor their owner, didn't agree. Buying the T'Wolves does not necessarily mean they have to relocate but it's a possibility. Another city being thrown out there is Vegas, and i would not rule it out since the Raiders moved to Vegas recently, why not an NBA franchise, right? If nothing else, i believe a change of ownership will be beneficial to the Wolves, who have been abysmal for the past 15 years or so.

Those mid-table-nothing-to-play-for teams (Udinese, Bologna, Sampdoria) gonna be tough to cap from here on, be very cautious with them. My advice is to avoid them at all costs in your tickets, Udinese and Torino ruined a mid-stake parlay with Real and Benfica, had the O1.5.  it's fascinating Torino managed to keep a clean sheet even with their back-up goalkeeper.  I've no stats in front of me but these low-scoring matches in Serie A are so uncommon, it hurts when you accidentally bump into one.

Tottally agree with ^ both of you, awful selection of games we have for today. Double-digits spreads all over the place, in a sense unplayable as i hate laying that many points with anybody.

Liverpool got lucky and avenged for that 7:2 beating last year with a later winner. Milan with some trouble in getting all three points in Parma because of Ibra's red card but still managed to bring it home. I expect Inter to smack the shit out of Cagliari in tomorrow's early fixture. I can see them scoring at least three goals, have them on a side bet @ -1.5, good value imo. Let's just hope Arsenal won't do something stupid vs the worst team in Premier League, though, remember that the Gunners have been without a win for almost a month now (in all competitions).

Hornets beat them two months ago by double-digits, i think they have enough to get the W tonight.

Celtics ml + 76ers ml @1.67 lost

Celtics are a lock to cover their spread but i took them on the ml, 76ers are playing vs the Pels who have the worst opp. 3pt fg % (last 3) sitting around 49% and are playing horrible defense, second to last in defensive efficiency (last 3) even though they get a boost with Ingram back they are no match for Philly. Both favorites should take care of business imo.

Pacers ml + Nuggets ml @ 1.75 won
