∆ J. Brunson 15+ points / L. Doncic 1+ steal / M. Kleber 1+ 3pt @1.89 ∆ XIt's a do or die for Dallas, if they go down 3-0, GSW will wrap the series up in 4. I like what i saw from Brunson in game 2, he was aggressive with his shot and is likely to get north of 15 shot attempts again. He has scored 15 or more points in 6/L7. Doncic has recorded one or more steals in eight consecutive games, hope that streak continues today. Dallas will need a little more production from their bench, and with Kleber having only 2 3-pointers in the first two games and a -28 (+/-), i expect him to wake up and knock down a few from deep, as role players usually play better at home.

Here it is, the 19th, just one more league title away from adding a second star over our crest. What a season it has been though, especially the last third of the season, 6 straight wins and 17 without a loss...and still, it was a tight race to end. Congrats to vd309 for winning the pool, well done! 59 exact scores is something exceptional.

∆ J. Tatum 20+ pts / J. Butler 20+ pts / M. Smart 1+ steal / G. Williams 1+ 3pt @1.86 ∆ X Butler and Tatum to score 20 or more points, the Heat have yet to show in the series that they can stop Tatum (29 and 27 in game 2), and the same goes for Butler, who torched Boston with 41 in game 1 and 29 the next game, Jimmy has gone 20+ pts 11/12 in the playoffs. M. Smart to get at least one steal, i'm not asking much from the reigning defensive player of the year, am i? Smart has recorded at least one steal in each of Boston's home games in the playoffs so far. I also have Grant Williams, who gets a few open threes every game and is practically automatic from the corner.

Tonight gimme Jimmy and the Heat at home only laying 1. Think I'm gonna hit each home team in this series so long as nothing wildly changes Smart and Horford are back in the starting lineup for Boston (with no minutes restriction), but like you, i'm on the Heat train and will take them on the moneyline. So far in the playoffs Heat at home are +113 points and 7 out of 7, quite literally blowing out teams with an average of 16 points. With the way they're playing, this may be their year! They have twice as better NetRtg as the Celtics and Golden State, and they're also the only team to keep their opponents under 100 ppg in the playoffs (98.3). " Defense wins championships," as the saying goes. ...now watch them flop and lose homecourt.

image source: https://www.espn.com/The '22 NBA draft lottery concluded just moments ago. Orlando Magic won the lottery and will pick first in the upcoming draft which is set for next month (June, 23). Most draft boards have Chet Holmgren as the future number 1 pick, he is a big man that can shoot/space the floor, but also a very good shot-blocker at 7'0 ft, 3.7 blocks per game in college. Jabari Smith and Ivey from Purdue are two outstanding young players which are projected to be lottery picks as well. My favorite prospect from this year's draft though has to be Paolo Banchero. He has the size, the athleticism, excellent passer with an alright jumper coming out of Duke, and is possibly the most NBA-ready player. Interesting to see where he lands, lots of upside, him to Houston at 3 looks good imo... So I know conf finals start tonight but as an avid knick fan....it's lottery night!! Knicks with a 10% shot to jump into the top 4. I'd love to see them hit in the lottery and get a wing like bachelor or Jabari Smith. Would take ivey too, so many holes to fill on the team.
Sorry just as a knick fan every year this is a big night for us.😭
Any preference at 11? ....maybe a guard or yall sticking with Quickley next season?

∆ M. Strus 14+ PR / J. Butler 1+ steal / Bam 2+ assists @2.02 ∆ XStrus 14+ PR, he had two excellent games for Miami to close up the Philly series, back to back double-doubles in points and rebounds. I've been riding with J. Butler 1+ steals almost the entire postseason and don't see why i should stop now. Celtics down a playmaker for game 1 should help. Bam struggled quite a bit against Embiid, but today he gets Williams and Theis, a lot easier matchup imo. Bam is coming off two games without recording a single assist. I believe he gets several today, he had eight assists the last time these two teams faced off.

Both Marcus Smart and Al Horford are out of game 1, Al Horford is said to be under health and safety protocol, I don't know how many games he'd miss for that and really I also don't think Robert Williams is 100% fit for the game either. Probably the next game as well, because it's Thursday, and i don't think he can clear it in two days. Who gets tested these days, by the way? The NBA should probably revise/rethink its safety protocols. I saw a picture of Horford in a huddle with his teammates earlier today, no masks, etc...so what's the point? They should scrap those protocols for the remainder of the postseason, it sucks losing a key guy for a game, or even two...and besides almost all players are vaxxed now.

If somebody has extra time feel free to go trough our pool and write out who is our highest yellow cap score it would be a nice double check. 1. vd309 20.5 points in Round 31 2. morvillz7z 20.0 points in Round 10 3. buwaytress 19.5 points in Round 13It looks like vd309/MoSala will take home a double win, the highest yellow cap score, and the pool win, unless someone tops him in the final round. He is pretty far in the overall Serie A rankings, 14th as of today...not bad! Juve vs. Lazio btts, who says no? Btw, this will be Dybala and Chiellini's last home matches for Juve. I'm hearing Dybala is leaving and likely going to Premier League next season, whichever of Arsenal and Spurs takes the 4th place. Lorenzo Insigne scored in his final home match for Napoli over the weekend, maybe Dybala does the same on his way out, hmm...

<...> The Bucks really miss Kris Middleton in the series, he would have made an impact, tbh. True that! You can't win a ball game shooting 4 for 33 (12.1%) from deep, it's just not gonna happen, not even in a pre-season game. I'm sure with Middleton things would have been different. I had the exact same prop from gm6, but this time it hit...lol but barely, thanks to a Giannis dunk minute before starters were subbed off, lucky me. Anyone has any plays on the Mavs @ Suns game 7? I haven't followed the series closely....guess i'm looking to tail someone. I was hoping to see Scott Foster ref today's game...too bad, that would have been something. edit; C. Paul and Booker with 3 points combined at the half, while Luka has 27, as much as the Suns total. ...this one is over!

None of the picks are going my way right now, Udinese is currently losing to Spezia while, Hellas Verona is also losing to Torino (where I've gone with a draw), neither of all 4 teams have anything to play for so, I just had to follow my guts and their recent form and all. Before this week's matches, Spezia was not out of the woods, they needed a point at least. It's strange being the only one in our pool to back them up. Spezia has a solid record away from home in Udine, having beaten them the previous season. Verona and Torino indeed had nothing to play for, i chose Torino solely because of their coach, Ivan Juric, who was facing his former team, that extra motivation... I expected so much more from Salernitana tbh, what else could they have asked for than a penalty in the 84th minute, but can't convert. Watched the full game, could have gone either way to be fair. It was a very open match, Salernitana missed a few point black chances on top of the missed penalty. The guy who usually takes the penalties was subbed off just 5 minutes before the penalty, which was extremely unfortunate, Verdi would've scored.
Venezia got relegated a few hours ago, they might ship 3-4 goals to Roma, i have them at O2.5 + another ticket. edit;

∆ Giannis 25+ pts / J. Holiday 15+ pts / J. Holiday 4+ rebs / J. Holiday 1+ steal @1.78 ∆ X It's funny how the last two games went down, with the team entering the fourth quarter (leading by double-digits) lost both times. I suppose i'm with the majority here in favoring the Bucks to win and close out the series. The final 15 seconds in game 5 were so deflating for Boston, first giving up an oreb to B. Portis (after a missed FT) to grab the lead, then Holiday's two excellent defensive plays...Celtics really had it, can't believe they let it slip away like that. Anyways, for my prop, i went with Holiday and Giannis, i find those lines to be consistent throughout the series thus far. Holiday is averaging 22/7/2, while Giannis is close to 35 ppg.

∆ J. Butler 20+ pts / J. Butler 5+ rebs / J. Butler 4+ ast / J. Butler 1+ steals @1.97 wonimage source: https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/butleji01/gamelog/202227/7/6/2 I'm out of leans for today's game 6, so i settled with a Jimmy Butler prop. Without a doubt, the most consistent player throughout the series. As you can see from the screen above, his averages are significantly higher than my picks, hopefully he doesn't flop. I believe Miami will eventually close out the series if not today then in gm 7, i was really disappointed with the way the Sixers played in gm 5. Embiid is dealing with a slew of injuries, Harden has a history of not showing up in big games, and can you really trust any of their role players...?

∆ J. Butler 30+ PRA / J. Butler 1+ steal / B. Adebayo 2+ ast / T. Herro 1+ 3pt made @1.66 ∆ XCritical game 5, it's a must win for Miami otherwise series are over in 6. Lowry won't play which i think could be a blessing in disguise, he was a liability on offense in games 3 and 4 clearly not 100%, passing up on good shots and only looking to assist. Butler 30+ PRA: his usage rate the last two games has been off the charts, recording 44 and 49 PRA, respectively. Butler 1+ steal: at least 2 steals in each of the 8 postseason games that he has played. Bam 2+ assists: 2 or more assists in 7/L9 postseason games, 3 or more assists in each of the last 5 home games. Herro 1+ 3pt: has made at least one 3pt in each game vs. Philly thus far, at home 7/11 @ 0.64%

Unfortunately, there will be no "Hash Clash" next season, as you may have heard already, Watford was relegated over the weekend after losing to Crystal Palace, 8 losses in the last 9 matches ain't simply good enough. Let me cut to the chase, Watford will host Everton tomorrow with largely bench players and youngsters from their academy, with starters ruled out. Everton's odds have already dropped, although they are still reasonable at 1.70 to 1.75. I think it is worth going for it given Everton's recent form, with three wins in five matches, including wins over Man Utd, Chelsea, and Leicester, and not a poor showing against Liverpool. source: https://twitter.com/BenDinnery/status/1524013065079042048Ismailia Sarr, Emmanuel Dennis, Tom Cleverley, Imran Louza, Juraj Kucka, Kiko Femenia, Josh King, and Nicolas N'Koulou are out of the game against Everton. Cucho Hernandez (hamstring) is long-term and Joao Pedro has an outside chance after completing one session. #watfordfc I've locked my ticket (i expect odds to continue to drop) Everton to win + Richarlison Anytime goal scorer boosted to 2.93Again, an unmotivated and recently relegated team with all of its best players sitting out takes on a highly motivated and in-form side fighting to avoid relegation, seems pretty obvious to me...
