Fixed the following bugs:

  - Transactions showing as unverified
  - Fails to load on 64-bit Mac OS X
  - Blockchain header sync

Mac binary is unsigned, so to run it first time, right-click application icon and select Open from the drop-down menu, then agree to let it start.

The Pesa project Niccolo is working on has been ongoing since last year august. Innovation takes time, and soon all will be revealed. It's like XC all over again like in the early days. Right here, sorry if I'm not answering all of the questions or concerns. I've been busy outside of Pesa, but I should be able to be much more active on the project now. Expect regular updates and a few changes to the wallet soon. The OP now includes a Mac Wallet compiled by a user from the forums. I'm setting up a temporary website now, with a full website started. It seems that provenceday has posted a blockchain explorer, so feel free to throw some donations his way. Thanks for sticking around everyone, I'm excited to see where this goes.

Viacoin is about practical innovation and building upon already proven concepts. I am excited to be doing this, and I am really excited so many people believe in and share this vision.

I understand everyone’s impatience: Day traders are looking for hype to trade on; peoples’ attention spans are short and they want instant gratification.

So let's put things in perspective:

  - We're only just starting the 4th day since launch and there are several fundamental things which need to be addressed: like fixing bugs in Vialectrum; subreddit theme design; FB page and so forth (we’re looking for volunteers).
  - I spent a long time yesterday fixing and upgrading the Vialectrum wallet and will spend more time today getting it compiled and tested.
@Reorder has been working on the Mac version and there is a preliminary test version available here. If anyone wants to test, specifically on Mac OSX Mavricks. If transactions still show up as unverified you may need to delete your /Users/yourname/.vialectrum/blockchain_headers. Please let me know if that is the case via the issue tracker.

3rd Party Projects
If people want to advertise 3rd party projects for Viacoin, may I suggest you frequent the Viacoin subreddit. It creates confusion if those are posted in this ANN. The exceptions are mainly mining pools and exchanges which I will add to the OP. Charlie is also setting up a separate forum for Viacoin (thanks Charlie!)

Let’s confine this thread to the subject of the ANN only. I have updated the rules in post #2 after the OP.

Viacoin is not a flash in the pan, neither is it vaporware. It is not a "coin for hype", which are coins created for the exclusive purpose of creating a temporary market based on some hype factor.

We will publish periodic updates, and news when there is news. I believe people's confidence will grow more and more in Viacoin as time goes by which is the best and most healthy way for any ecosystem to grow. The price will fluctuate according to market forces, that is what free markets are about. But we’re not going to deliberately use news posts as a way to manipulate the price. I understand this is not the norm for altcoins on BCT so it might take a little getting used to
