It seems the market likes the ClearingHouse idea and that the dev is working on the decentralized app feature.

dev are hiring some talent people to help with the clearing house.

Dev spent 10's of thousands of dollars starting this coin? Hahahaha more BS.
Many members here will remember that I had a 28 BTC bounty for anyone capable of developing the mini-blockchain scheme:

[CLOSED] $20,000 Mini-Blockchain Implementation

Admittedly BTC was worth much more at that point in time, and I didn't spend 28 BTC on development, but it was more than 20 BTC. And so far I've only been able to mine 2 blocks myself. So I'm sorry if Windows users feel some how robbed, but there were no guarantees when you decided to use this coin and we have a big obvious red warning plastered on the website which explains how experimental this coin is.

windows node please???
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite | 1st mini-blockchain implementation | M7 PoW on: July 28, 2014, 04:20:11 AM
Ok we should have working Windows binaries now.

cryptonited-qt:
http://gpile.it/mbc/win64_cryptonite-qt_14072723.exe

cryptonited:
http://gpile.it/mbc/win64_cryptonited_14072723.exe

EDIT: you will probably need to delete the cryptonite folder inside of ~/AppData/Raoming/

main node Please?Huh

Fixed windows binary will be available very soon.

wait for this now!

thanks

linux guys Please give us your correct node?

anybody?

Please post the linux wallet node?

thanks
1412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite | 1st mini-blockchain implementation | M7 PoW on: July 28, 2014, 03:14:22 AM
No relaunch is necessary. Do not give into the incessant whinging of the windows noobs.  Competent miner should always take time to setup linux system for mining

give us your node and which block are you at now?

LOL and what would he be saying if the foot was in the other shoe and this was a linux issue...

I am mining on linux, on block 595, but balance has now reset to 0.
'cannot fastforward chain because of missing data' , ban, finalize node error.. so no, not at an advantage here.

so maybe something wrong with the blockchain.

wait for dev's confirm.

The valid blockchain is just over 550 blocks. I have only been able to mine 2 blocks myself. So I'm afraid we will not be relaunching, because that would be even worse than what has already happened. We will try to get a working Windows binary out as soon as possible (within the next couple of hours). Some coins don't even launch with Qt, let alone a Windows binary, so at the end of the day the situation could have been much worse.

that's ok, i agree with this. but can you give us your node dev?

we need the right node.

trusty binaries work fine in my case. Difficulty is rising steeply, it seems people are throwing serious CPU power behind this.

which block are you at now?

1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite | 1st mini-blockchain implementation | M7 PoW on: July 28, 2014, 02:59:42 AM
Fixed:

Code:
addnode=66.45.239.67:8253
addnode=80.11.70.97:8253
addnode=37.187.229.12:8253
addnode=82.32.195.63:8253
addnode=121.99.88.141:8253
addnode=188.252.234.97:8253
addnode=83.212.101.6:8253

this is the wrong chain.

we need dev's node or check point?
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite | 1st mini-blockchain implementation | M7 PoW on: July 28, 2014, 02:45:24 AM
Linux build here.

Code:
{
    "blocks" : 485,
    "currentblocksize" : 1000,
    "currentblocktx" : 0,
    "difficulty" : 4922.22473102,
    "errors" : "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for mining or merchant applications",
    "genproclimit" : -1,
    "networkhashps" : 296916557,
    "pooledtx" : 0,
    "testnet" : false,
    "generate" : true,
    "hashespersec" : 136312
}
How you compile it in linux?

give us your node, thanks, so we can contact to the right chain.
1419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite | 1st mini-blockchain implementation | M7 PoW on: July 28, 2014, 02:44:11 AM
OK FOLKS THE PROBLEM DOES APPEAR TO BE THE WINDOWS BINARIES. THEY ARE GOING OFF ON THEIR OWN CHAIN WHICH IS INVALID. IF YOU ARE USING A WINDOWS BUILD STOP MINING IMMEDIATELY PLEASE BECAUSE THE CHAIN YOUR MINING ISN'T THE RIGHT ONE.

give us your node, dev!

we need your node!

so we can contact to the main chain!
1420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite | 1st mini-blockchain implementation | M7 PoW on: July 28, 2014, 02:32:48 AM
Yeah folks it looks like there is some sort of serious forking going on atm, it's not exactly clear what is happening but it doesn't look too good. I would recommend to only use the linux builds for the moment until we are able to resolve the issue, although that might not have anything to do with the problem.

which block are  linux wallet at now???

it seems one of my wallet are mining at the wrong chain:  one of my computer at 1085 block now!!!
