Update: IPO
IPO pre-registration begins in a few hours. Trying to get binaries compiled and making sure this bitmessage library works.
Pre-registration will last two weeks. Until the 6th of September. Pre-registration will be required for the IPO.
During pre-registration, you run a program (or from source), it generates a private key/public key pair and sends it over Bitmessage. Then another server will send back response confirming of registration in the IPO. We are testing the bitmessage library now.
Update: Development
We are writing 240 pages of technical documentation. It outlines at code level, how to use the libraries, what works and what needs to be done. The technical documentation outlines at detail required for implementation.
We are now on fourth generation infrastructure. There have been so many refactor, redesign cycles. We have finally arrived at a stable design which meets requirements and has an elegant implementation. Aether has been significantly redesigned and the new design simplifies the blockchain sync and consensus process.
