Looking at their wallet, looks like they scammed a few customers:

1486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Place to buy asic usb miners? on: December 20, 2013, 11:11:29 PM
The only place that I've found any ASIC hardware at a fair and reasonable price is from asic-technologies.com/asictech.info.
asic-technologies.com/asictech.info (and many other variations) are confirmed scammers (relevant thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=308982.0). One-post user is advertising them, funny Smiley

thanks for the update. luckily I saw your post before buying from asic-tech.info

These will never earn a return.

This will be (most probably) used to mine alt coins.

you can't mine ltc with this

to mine only SHA-256 coins like Tigercoin (TGC)

1493  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange Now Open with USD, EUR, BTC, LTC, XRP, NMC on: December 20, 2013, 12:54:14 PM
Kraken should make a number of short youtube videos explaining how to place orders via their platform.
I'm working with Kraken, so I'll put this on my list. I totally agree that the advanced features are tricky to use.

KISS, keep it simple "s"
1494  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The first Bitcoin Solar mining device coming soon - SolarMiner USB2 machine on: December 20, 2013, 12:48:42 PM
There should be units in the future that will have more hash using less power so they could eventually roi but if going solar it would be wise to spend a little more and get a grid tie system.

The cost of batteries will kill any saving that you make from solar.

If there are more efficient asics in the future then why use this at all? You can get a shitload of electricity for $1000.

I didnt say you should get it. Solar will roi long tern anyway unless someone invents free energy.

Tesla did it:

1495  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The first Bitcoin Solar mining device coming soon - SolarMiner USB2 machine on: December 20, 2013, 12:47:56 PM
This is a really nice idea, how about another set of solar panels to charge the battery untill it runs out

This device is only worthwhile if you live in a hot country

Definitely works here in Malaysia. Looking forward to the whole packing + pricing details.

1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Latest Cryptsy Additions, News and announcements. NEW SITE on: December 20, 2013, 03:22:37 AM
I thought BTC-E was also having some withdrawal issues?

Been using Cryptsy for 6 or so months,

pros - biggest altcoin exchange
       - my support jobs mostly get answered , other exchanges none.
       - never lost any coins
       - verns a good bloke.

cons

       - too many coins, keep markets more focused and reduce amount of copy paste coins
       - everytime BTC crashes or spikes, ive always had withdraw issue
       - deposit and withdraw system huge amount off issues, but to be expected with so many coins
       - slow! even before the latest craze, it was slow, new site is even slower. code the thing for speed, i dont care what it looks like Smiley

Suggestions,

vern needs more coders, why not some re-investment towards fixing the code, BTCe is solid code! do something similar

Bring back chat, i used to come in to watch the banter and kill a bit of time / trade.  also found out about PTS the day it was released in the chat, chat is good, how i miss Spoetnik

speed speed and more speed, cut it right down, i dont care if its just text!

phone app ?

metatrader ?

alerts ?

With Bitcoin Prices dropping, yikes these miners seem like less investment worthy now

BTC prices will go up eventually. it's a cycle.
